Noise Complaint OOC

Hey everyone! If you're not as familiar with hollows as other types of RPs, they are intended to be short, fast, low-effort posts with a ton of improvisation. As in, I have almost no plot in mind whatsoever beyond what I'm about to include. So if you have an idea and want to take the story in a particular direction, please speak up!

The scene is an old apartment complex, still structurally safe but definitely run down and occupied by people who for one reason or another are settling for this standard of living rather than going after nice housing. There is an apartment at the end of the hall on the second floor that is continuously making tons of noise and is, unfortunately, directly above poor Mr. Benson's apartment (he's just an NPC so feel free to commandeer him!)

- The Noise Complaint - aka one of the people making the noise, but you and your fellow complaints get to pick what you're doing that's so noisy (parties, practicing for your new rock band, learning tap dancing, the possibilities are endless!)

- The Noise Complainer - aka one of the people who complains about the noise that the Complaints are making. We can fill in with NPCs here if no one is feeling this role, though!

- The Noise Controller - law enforcement that keeps getting called by the Complainers on the Complaints. We can also fill in with NPCs here if no one wants to do this ^^

How do I join?

Hollows are a lot less formal than other types of roleplays and well-suited to jumping in and out or switching out characters whenever you'd like! That makes them very low pressure to participate in and are perfect for casual RPing without much commitment.

Fill out the character profile briefly and post it below so that we can keep them all in one place, and also include it in a spoiler at the top of your very first post using that character (not necessary for subsequent posts from that character after that).

Ayyy glad there’s so much interest! Today ended up… not being properly bad, but also not going how I’d envisioned haha so sorry for not getting this up today but I will endeavor to get this launched by tomorrow afternoon!

Appearance (just a few lines is okay): She is short, with a pudgy build and a cold beige complexion. She has chin-length messy black hair and brown wide-set eyes.
Personality: Introverted, intelligent and brooding. Comically serious. She tends to find convoluted strategies to avoid direct confrontation with a problem, especially if that problem involves other people.

Appearance (just a few lines is okay): Very skinny and tall, gangly limbs, pale skin, a mop of fiery red, curly hair that is usually in his eyes.
Personality: Chaotic neutral to the fullest degree. Always trying to think up some new hobby or skill to learn and he doesn't try to be noisy but, well, it just kind of happens. And, well... he had to admit that maybe he was a bit louder as a passive-aggressive jab once people started complaining about him. But, well, that was their fault, yo.

Personality: Homegirl's tired. She’s an intern, she’s not being paid. They’re tired of constantly being called for teen’s being stupid. Save them.

Other: They survive off of coffee and coffee alone.

Appearance (just a few lines is okay): I went overboard and made a Picrew, so...have that! Other than that, they're 5'10, lanky build, often can be found wearing chain jewelry and an assortment of rings.

Personality: Ed will be quiet and supply only one word responses until you say something that they decide is worth responding to, and then they're suddenly loud and chatty verging on explosive. Selective extrovert, you could say. They have a resting....meanie face, which can put a lot of people off, but they're very touchy and huggy around their friends.

Other: They're into cosplay, extreme makeup looks, and grunge/rock music.

I like the vibe that Beatrice's the only one who shows up to deal with the noise complaint, so they're completely used to this flat.

Shark would probably also be an enforcer. But I am currently a touch too occupied to make the diagram.

So I did post something… I hope it’s okay I don’t have a character profile, Shady. But you can probably get the gist from Layla’s profile - just with puffed grey hair, granny glasses and wrinkles.
