I was going to make an image thingy majiggy but i got lazy sooooo...
anyways
the theme this time around is just my chaotic life
it'll be like a journal of what happened that day in poetry form :)
bc my life is whack
just a warning beforehand, while most of these will hopefully be lighthearted, there may be some discussions of some very dark topics bc idk what will happen in the future so-

People Come and Go

My world is a lie
People come and go
They tell you that they love you
They tell you to stay strong
But people come and go
People say they trust you
People tell you, you’re their glue
But people come and go
Nobody is forever
Everyone’s a liar
Cause people come and go

By The Lake

Winds gently blowing
Shimmering water glowing
Green grass spread neatly
Fresh air blowing sweetly
Laughter echoes through the hills
So beautifully the blackbird trills
At peace by the lake
The quiet will not break

By The Lake is such a treat of a poem to read - it flows wonderfully well, and the imagery it evokes is so simple and beautific all the same - keep up the great work, Ches! <333

Pain

Crunching of gravel
My insides unravel
The pain is unbearable
This feeling is terrible

That's What They Say

You gotta be better
That’s what they say
Stop stressing so much
That’s what they say
Sit down and be quiet
That’s what they say
You crave attention
That’s what they say
You’re not that busy
That’s what they say
But
I’m trying my best
That’s what I’ll say
You cause my stress
That’s what I’ll say
I’ll stand up and shout
I’m attention deficit
I’m juggling marbles
You carry around
My life isn’t easy
And neither is yours
We all have our issues
Just listen real hard
No one is perfect
We all have our problems
And that’s just fine
Just listen to me
And I’ll be there for you
Support each other
And I’ll be your shoulder

Walking Down the Path Again

I walk through this pathway
The trees look the same
The grasses are dying
The silence is overwhelming
I know where it leads
But I just can’t stop
The brakes of my feet
Malfunctioned again
I’m walking to doom
But what can I do?
I did it again
Another mistake
Another sentence
Can’t take back now
It’s too late for change
I’ve walked on this path
I can’t turn back now
What’s done is done
This is the end
I know what is coming
But all I can do
Is sit here and pray
For a smaller consequence
My actions were stupid
I can’t think straight
The people they hate
And that’s not OK
I know that I messed up
Walked this path hundred times
And I’ll walk it hundreds more
Everything I do is a mistake
Just want to crawl away and hide
In my space
My comfortable room
But it’s much too late
I’m walking down this path
Straight to my doom
This is the end
I know that is true
I’ll walk till I drop
Just like that, kaput
I wish I could stop
But there’s no turning back
Tonight I face fire
And hope I survive

gonna be making some slight changes to my thread and make it fit more with the theme in like a "diary" sorta vibe (it'll make more sense when i start doing it)

I could totally see "That's what they say" developed into a song - there's some great rhyme / rhythm to the whole piece. I loved these two lines:
I’m juggling marbles
You carry around

Great image / metaphor there! Keep on writing Ches, you're doing excellent! :)
you should know i am a time traveler &
there is no season as achingly temporary as now
but i have promised to return

/I think, today,/ he thought back, /the important fact is that I don't/ need /to be better than him. He can just be a person. And I... I can just be one too./
