Link to Piece: Before the Dragon - Chapter 29 Type of Piece (Whether it's a novel, poetry, etc): Novel Any other comments (Optional):
Okay so I know this is super late in the novel and isn't a super great place to jump in -- but I only have one consistent reviewer at the moment and people tend to shy away from high-numbered chapters in the Green Room lol. So if you don't mind, I'd love a review on this chapter!
Bit of context so that you don't have to skim through the whole novel (though I mean obviously you're welcome to if that's what you desire lol)... Jerica is a 16 year King's Assassin. Aerik is a Dragon Keeper who has been keeping her captive on his mountain. This scene comes immediately after she has a meltdown in the middle of the night following a nightmare, so they're trying to work some of her traumatic history.
Thanks so much!

The simple truth is that authors like making people squirm. If this weren't the case, all novels would be filled completely with cute bunnies having birthday parties.
Title of Piece (Optional): The Consultation Link to Piece: The Consultation Type of Piece (Whether it's a novel, poetry, etc): Short story (it will eventually be a scene in my novel, The Archive, but that won't be for a while XD) Any other comments (Optional): There are some curse words, but it's pretty family friendly other than that. Also, I know it has two reviews already, I just want to get all the feedback I can, since this is going to be in a novel someday.
Title of Piece: Discovering the real world Link to Piece: Discovering the real world Type of Piece: Poetry Any other comments: It's about Earth (wrote it as an inspiration of the climate strike, some of the sentences stood on the posters here), and that we need to take action NOW to save it. Hope you enjoy!

Your hesitation suggests you are trying to protect my feelings. However, since I have none, I would prefer you to be honest. An artist's growth depends upon accurate feedback. — LCDR Data
