I am nothing but a mouthful of 'sorry's, half-hearted apologies that roll of my tongue, smoothquick, like 'r's or maybe like pocket candy that's just a bit too sweet.
Well, since you mentioned a work can be in two categories, I'm fairly happy. =D
I think maybe we should have a separate supernatural/paranormal forum, though, because it doesn't seem quite right to post that in the fantasy (or general) forum as well. =] Not really important, but I just think maybe...oo"
Also, I support tags.
"The moral of this story, is that if I cause a stranger to choke to death for my amusement, what do you think I’ll do to you if you don’t tell me who ordered you to kill Colosimo?“
The mobile-friendly thing is way to go. YWS currently is just a perfect site to be accessed through a desktop. But if it is tweaked for mobile we will take over the world! Also, if we do tweak it then the social networking part of it will also be more active. YWS is already a pseudo-social site with the mobile enhancement people will post more statuses and will just spend more time in the community.
I have one more suggestion. I mean it's not exactly related to the website, but YWS has some superb writers and I think we should publish an online magazine outside the website to familiarize the non-YWSers with our awesomeness! Issuu.com lets publish magazines, books etc for free. And it's layout is pretty sleek and reader friendly. Even magazines such as V publish their issues in it. I think all the featured works should be bundled up in a magazine issue each month and published on that website. We have some pretty skilled photographers and artists here -- they can help us make a breath-taking cover for our magazine. What do you say?
I'm going to second (third?) a mobile site. At the moment I use YWS on my phone to check notifications and to read things for reviewing later, but it can be very hard to navigate around the site, for example the drop-down menus on the header don't drop down, sometimes the text isn't wrapped to the size of my screen, which gets very difficult to manage, and when I do try to post often the message just gets eaten. I'd love it if there were a version, even if it were just a very simple text based one without any graphics at all, that would be easier to access on a phone.
please grant me my small wish; (love me to the marrow of my bones)
