I wrote quite a bit during my staycation, but I don't like to flood my NaPo thread all at once so I'll add over the next few days. In the meantime, I welcome comments on the poems posted thus far - this year, I'm trying to tackle themes of self-exploration and the creation of new things as a result of growth and change.

From today to Sunday, my partner and I are taking a staycation at an Airbnb run by a professionally trained French chef - so poems to come Sunday or Monday! No cell service, no wifi... just good food and good company.

In other non-April 1st shenanigans, I have BEEN OFFERED AN ADULT JOB. With a salary. And all the fancy things that come with having an adult job. I am going to be working as a Child & Youth Mental Health Clinician with the government!
But don't worry, you will still be able to catch me playing lots of Animal Crossing, watching Disney princess movies, and making weird sounds to myself in my free time.

literally spent over a week thinking of what my NaPo thread title should be and I feel really happy with metamorpoiesis
