GUYSSSSS. This post is super-important, just so you know.

Lacey Lopez

I walk out of the school, feeling the winter sunshine on my face and feeling beautiful for the first time in a long time. Violin case in hand, I walk over from the school to the library. The librarian, a cute old lady who I was very familiar with in my younger years, murmurs a greeting. I smile back. I have to be to work in an hour, but I've done so much practicing lately my fingers are starting to get bruises, so I figured I'd spend some time college searching here or something.

I make my way to the teen section, but something stops me. A girl, huddled up in one of the chairs. It would take a trained eye to see it, but I spot it right away.

"You okay?"

She looks up surprised. "No. Not really."

She goes to my school, but I don't know her name. I smile and take a seat next to her. "I'm Lacey Lopez."

"Amy Jenkins."

"You're scared, aren't you?"

She looks at me, and I think I see that familiar rebellion in her eyes, but it deflates. "You know. Are rumors spreading that quickly?"

"No. I can see it. Not really in your stomach, but in your eyes."

Amy looks down at herself. We're both talking in whispers. "It was a mistake. We never meant to... never meant for this to happen. He thinks I should get rid of it now, but he said he'd support me even if I didn't... God, yes, I'm so scared."

"Know that it's your choice, Amy. You'll feel empty if you get rid of it. You're mothering instincts are already coming out, and it's apart of you. An abortion will take more than the fetus; it'll take another part of you. If you keep it, it'll be hard, hard on everything, but it'll still be what you dreamed of; just dreamed of for later. Just don't waste your potential, that's the biggest thing; never forget who you are. Change, because you'll need to, but make your loves part of your new life; it's your only choice."

"That's the best advice anyone's given to me yet." She pauses. "Do you have a kid?"

I consider telling her the whole thing was a mistake, but I can't bring myself to say it. "Miscarriage."

"Oh." Amy swallows. "Thank you, Lacey."

I smile, standing up, trying not to let her see my tears.

-------------------------

When I get home, I check the mailbox, just as I have been for the past few weeks. This time, there's the fancy letter that I've been waiting for, with my name inscribed on the front. I rip it open, unable to wait. The text says exactly what I wanted it to;

Congratulations, Lacey Lopez, you've been accepted!

I rush into the house. "WHAT IS THIS LIFE?"

My Mother looks at me, eyebrow raised. "Did you really just quote The Fault In Our Stars?" My Mother has read the book, of course, being that she is awesome.

Emmett looks up from his tablet. He's rewatching Doctor Who episodes he's forgotten, to 'help him with his memory loss', though I know its for Jane. "You got accepted."

"Yes! I'm so excited!"

"I'm proud of you, honey. You've got a lot of work to do, catching up, but that's great. Did you get the scholarship?"

"Yep!"

My Mom seems to relax. "Well, it's official! You can kiss Harmony High goodbye and go to Lake of Pines Fine Arts School!"

"Yeah, Lacey." Emmett mutters.

------------------------

The first thing I do when my transcripts are in order is visit Jane.

In lieu of hello I tell her, "I need you to take care of Emmett."

She looks annoyed. "Hi to you too. What do you think I've been doing?"

"I'm going to the Fine Arts school in Pine Lake; that's an hour away, and I'll be rooming on campus. I won't be able to be here for him. I feel guilty, but I need to do something for myself, and this is the only time to do it. I need you to do something for him, now that I won't be there."

"You're leaving? What about the baby?"

"No longer suffering from existence. Do you promise me Jane, do you promise?"

She thinks about it. "He doesn't even know me."

"I do, and I'm trusting you, despite knowing how fucked up you can be. I'm trusting you because you love him."

"Okay. Okay, I can do it."

I hug her, much to her surprise. I don't always like Jane, and I've never really forgiven her for the way she handled her pregnancy. But I love how she loves Emmett, and I think they can fix each other.

-------------------------------

A few days later, I'm throwing my bags in the back of the car. We have new semester introduction in about five hours, and I need to unpack my bags and meet my roommates before that.

Ace is at my house, and she hugs me a tight goodbye. "I hate you for this," she whispers, "but you deserve this."

"I'll miss you."

"Yeah. Come back and visit me here in Hicksville sometime, kay?"

"Okay."

I hug Emmett next, and he hugs me back tightly. We don't say anything; I always wondered how I would live without him, and now I will find out.

"You're hurting me rib." He says finally, and I step back.

He's angry at me, I know, but he's accepting this. "Believe in Jane." I say. "Please."

"I can try."

Jane is standing slightly off from them, and I hug her. "You and him, you're going to work. You've got to."

I hug my father, and then hop into the car. My tears are starting to fall down my face, but I watch my family fade into a blur of the town I never really felt apart of anyways.

Lacey is gone. She'll come back on occasion, but her point of view will no longer be a regular. After exams I may add Ace, Lacey's friend or Taylor, a male friend of Emmett's. Any preferences?
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.

Sunshine, add anyone you like. We have met Ace already, so I really like her. My preference.

Jane Wills

I took it to heart. Lacey was never one to like me, put she put so much trust in me... I couldn't help but comply. She's such a good hearted person, I could only wish to be her. So, just for her and Emmett, I'll be there for him. I'm scared. I don't know if that's good for me, but maybe it'll out work out, somehow.

After that night, I didn't see Chandler. Not on the street. Not at school. Not even on the stairs. He was a good person, and I wanted to get to know him better. I really just wanted a friend like him. Since Oliver left. But, oh well. Some stuff happens once for a reason.

When Lacey left, Emmett was himself again. His sensitive side was showing as he just watched Doctor Who in silence. It was hard for him to deal with me, I could see that. But there was me, and I tried.

For the next few days, I didn't see Emmett. I gave him some space. I only called him like three times just to check up on him, but he answered once. I don't know, but I feel like he hates me. I wouldn't blame him if he did though. I wasn't fit for much of this helping thing. And, well, having me as a girlfriend is devastating news.

"Hey, Jane, are you doing something today?" my mother asked as she dressed for work.

I looked up at her and saw the dress she threw on. It had to be new. It was a skater dress with a longer skirt that hit just below the knees. The color was a dark red, which made her look magnificent. She just not too long ago got a job at this big time agency as an agent for artists. So, dressing up wasn't an option, it was forced. But it's not like my mother didn't like it, she did. It was her favorite part of the job.

"Not really, no." it was a Saturday and I had no plans.

She looked at me from the mirror, reading the expression on my face. I didn't really know I had one until I felt my cheeks burn and saw them red in the mirror. Hiding my head in my hands, I huffed and then looked back up at the mirror.

"Invite Emmett over. Take him somewhere." she turned to face me. "Baby, take him to places you've been to together or you know he's been to. That'll do something." she said, running her hands through her hair.

"I'd rather not." I looked away from her, sitting down by the kitchen island.

She walked up to me, putting her hands on my shoulders. The only reason I had to look up at her was because I was on a chair and she was in stilettos. Other than that, we were eye-to-eye.

"Baby, Lizzie." she paused, "It would be good for him to sort of jog his memory..." I cut her off.

I felt hot all of a sudden, all my anger seeping through my body.

"Mom, he lost his memory. He's not going to get it back no matter what we do. He's at home everyday and can't seem to jog his memory when he's there. I'll take him sure, I'll be like remember this, remember that?! and he'll be like uh, nooo. Because he won't. I'll just be hurting myself in the process. The only way to get him to retain his memory is to probably knock him out." I said, my mouth getting dry.

All she did is sigh, squeezing my shoulders, and walking up to the coat rack which had the mirror next to it. Throwing on her coat, she looked at me and smiled.

"Knock him out," she smiled.

Then, she walked down the stairs and out the door. She had a few more floors to go down, but that didn't matter after she left.

I guess I could take him somewhere. But it could make him feel bad for not remembering and he wouldn't want to do anything after that, just ditching everything and everyone. Taking a deep breath, I jumped off the chair and walked to my room, getting to my iPhone.

Thinking better of it, I decided I would just drive up and sort of kidnap him. Then, maybe, it'd be more exciting and he wouldn't be able to say no.

***

Ringing the doorbell, I shook in the cold and heard someone get near the door. As it opened, I saw Emmett poke out his head. When he saw me, he smiled. But not his usual smile, it was a being-polite smile. It made my heart sink, but I still smiled back.

"Emm," I said. "Get your coat on, you're going for a ride."

It was a nice dinner. Though the kids were giving me weird looks, I managed to put that aside and talk to all of them as if they were my own siblings. They seemed to like me, other than Callie. She had a problem with me. I wouldn't blame her either. I was a new guy in the house, and it was hard to get used to the idea Harley had a boyfriend. Like I said, I didn't blame her. At all.

After we all finished, I helped Harley put all the dirty dishes into the dishwasher. The kids were watching some movie in the living room.

"So, Harley," I said after I closed the washer.

She looked up at me with a confused looked to her face.

"Why don't you show me around? Show me your life." I don't know, but with her I felt good.

"If you want to see it, not really that interesting." She smiled.

"Hey, you've been living in an orphanage practically all your life, you have five siblings. It's interesting to me."

Walking up to me, she took my hand and lead my to a staircase. I guess she was going fast with this. Cause the next thing I knew we were in her room. When she shut the door behind us, I took her in my arms and just looked at her. I didn't go straight to anything crazy. She was new to all this.

"Whoa," she spit out, obviously shocked by me.

"Whoa to you too." I smirked which made her blush. "Tell me," I paused. "Why do I want to kiss you?"

She looked at me, unable to respond, then she picked herself up and managed to get some courage. "Tell me why do I want to kiss you," she said.

My heart was beating so fast that I could hear it in my ears. I put my hand behind her neck and softly pulled her mouth towards mine, kissing her. She was intoxicating. Something about her, I couldn't help myself. She kissed me back, but more intense. We started to make-out and there was no stopping us.

I HAVEN'T WROTE FOR OLIVER IN A WHILE.

Oliver Dylan Hemingway

I was back in America. Man was I lucky enough to have mile rewards that I got a ticket with no problem in a week notice. There was something I needed to do. The reason Kristin and I didn't work was because of an unfinished relationship. So, I had to do something about it.

There was me telling me, I needed to try.

So, the next thing I knew, I was at Lacey's doorstep, ringing the doorbell. In a few moments, someone opened the door. It was her mother. She resembled her so much, it made my heart hurt. Maybe it was the intense jet-lag from not getting used to the time in either country.

"Oh," she hesitated, holding onto the door. "Oliver, hello."

"Hello, Mrs. Lopez. I'm here to see..." and it's like she knew, cause she cut me off.

"Lacey isn't here." and it wasn't the type where she's just at the store. You knew she left somewhere for a long time.

"Where can I find her?" I asked.

"Oliver," she paused. "I don't think it's a good idea for you to see her."

There was consern shaping her face, and a little sadness in her brown eyes. It was a motherly thing for her to do, to care, but it was more of making sure Lacey wouldn't get hurt. But I guess, she could believe in love stories and be all like Go to her! You belong together! but yeah, this is the real world.

"I have to see her Mrs. Lopez. It's life or death." I sort of exaggerated.

With a small smile on her face, she spoke up. "Alright. I'll give you the address. Now, you only get this one chance. I doubt that she will even let you talk to her."

After she wrote down the address on a piece of paper, she handed it to me and I hugged her as a thank you. She took it, hugging me back. Once I pulled away, I went to remember about Emmett.

"Um, how's Emmett?" I asked.

"Getting better. Thank you Oliver..."

"No need to, it's the act of chivalry and humanity, I still have some. Now, thank you so much for this Mrs. Lopez, have a great day." I smiled.

Then, I was on the road to and hour long drive.

Jasmine Bradley Urbaniak

It was two days later, and I was in this theatre, preparing for my concert. I was scared and not ready. All these nerves were flooding me as my team got ready. I was ready. Just ten minutes till showing time, and I was not ready mentally.

After the time passed, I got onto the stage. My stomach dropped as I walked on, seeing all these fans. They started to scream when a light beamed at me. Waving, I didn't know what I was doing. I forgot everything. My mind went completely blank. How could this happen to me? This nenevr happens. I am Bradley. I must sing.

I put the microphone to my lips and cleared my throat, unable to get words through my mouth. Looking back, I took a peek to the side and saw my friend Stefan staring back at me, biting his nails from nerves. He knew what I was going through. He showed me the E! interview. I was sick since then. Only because I knew it was all a lie, a fraud... but something in me still felt sick and jealous. That I lost him. Cause I lost him.

How could I let my nerves control me like this.

"This concert is cancelled." I said into the microphone both in French and English.

Then, the crowd got silent, looking at each other than at me.

"I'm sorry," I stifled a tear. "I-I..." and then my heart took control and I started to sob. "I can't do this." I ran off the stage and into Stefan's arms, bawling.

Stefan an his hands down my back as I shook in his arms. He was warm, he was comfy, he was my friend on the road. I needed him now.

"Baby, you gotta get back..." and his voice sounded like a gay man's, since he was one.

"I can't," I whispered.

"Brad, this is paid for. Just one song. Come on, get a grip."

"It's... so... hard."

He pushed me away and put his hands on my shoulders, looking me in the eyes. I held my breathe and waited till he said something. His green eyes were showing concern, while his face was trying to show determination.

"Bradley, you're going on that stage. You're going to show that asshole that you don't need him. Come on! You got this, girl!" he gave me a wide smile and turned me around, shoving me on the stage.

I looked back at the floor and saw my mic on the ground. Picking it up, I put it to my mouth and shut my eyes, taking a few deep breaths. Then, I opened my eyes and faced the people with a smile.

"LET'S DO THIS!" I yelled.

Then the whole crowd cheered and the concert started.

***

After the concert was done, I went to bed. The next morning was a new day. I had the TV on as I ate breakfast in bed. The news came on and they talked about my breakdown then fast recovery which made the show one of my best shows ever. I was smiling throughout the whole telecast as they bragged about me.

Then, the news came again that Ashton and Kristin were the best couple in the world. They were cute, young, and amazing. Everyone should be like them. They flashed pictures and messages they supposedly sent each other. That's where I frowned and practically threw up.

My phone rang and I asnwered it, not even looking at the ID.

"Jasmine! I was at your concert yesterday! It was amazing!" Avery said on the other side, I could hear her smile.

I smiled, "Thanks, Ave."

"I'm sorry about... I know why you cried. It'll be okay."

Sighing, I looked back at the TV. "I know. It's just so hard. I wish I told him that day that I loved him. That I wanted him. But, it's too late." I held my breath for a moment. "Thanks, really. Your comments are always welcome, Aves."

"I gotta go. Leo is making b and b. so I'm excited and hungry. Feel better, and if anything, I'm a phone call away."

I hung up and threw my phone across the room, knowing how much that'd cost. I still worried about payments even though I had enough money. It didn't mean I was a Scrooge, it just meant I cared. I lay back down in bed and started screaming, crying at the same time as my heart was torn apart. I felt like I was being eaten alive from heartbreak.

Harley Mae Turner

After we ate, Will helped me with the dishes.

He closed the washer, and looked at me, leaning on the counter. "So, Harley."

I looked up at him, slightly confused.

He tilted his head a bit. "Why don't you show me around? Show me your life."

"If you want, but it's not really that interesting." I smiled at him.

"Hey, you've been living in an orphanage practically all your life, you have five siblings. It's interesting to me."

I walked up to him, and took his hand, leading him to the staircase. I'd decided to just show him the upstairs, because all that was downstairs was a bathroom, kitchen, dining room, and living room. I didn't say anything, just lead him around, then took him to my room. I shut the door, then found myself in his arms. He just held me, and stared into my eyes.

"..whoa." I managed to say, surprised by how fast we'd gotten here, and by his face.

He was so god damn attractive.

"Whoa to you too." He whispered, smirking. I felt my cheeks turning red. "Tell me," he glanced at my lips, which made me blush a bit more. "why do I want to kiss you?"

I looked up at him, his glowing face. It was breath taking. He wanted to kiss me. I couldn't think of anything to say. "Tell me, why do I want to kiss you?

He put his hand behind my neck and gently pulled my mouth to his, kissing me. I kiss him back intensely, wanting more. Every touch from him sent shivers through my body. He gave me goose bumps. It lured me in. Pushed me over the edge. Made me want it all.

Before I knew it, we were making out.

I was pressed against the wall, and he was being irresistible as hell.

I wanted him so badly. And I could tell he wanted me.

His skin was warm against mine.

Slipping my arms around his neck, I pulled him closer.

Oh, goodness. This was so, so, so, so...perfect.

That post made me tear up a bit sunshine...oh and good luck on exams.

Avery

I've been having the same dream every night. I can hardly get any sleep because of it. I wake up in the middle of the night screaming because of it. Always clutching my stomach and believing that there's blood under the duvet. There never is. But...i'm just afraid of the day there will be.

"Avery...You've been having the same nightmare for three weeks now. You've got to give yourself a break and go to the hospital or something. I'm really worried." Leo says as he gives me a foot massage.

I shake my head.

" I can't there's way too much to do. There's the wedding and my versace fashion show is in only two weeks in Spain. It's just a reoccurring nightmare. I'll be fine."

"Well how do you plan to do all of those fashion shows and photo shoots? You're getting bigger by the week." He says kneeding his knuckles into the base of my foot.

"I can pass the fashion shows off to Kristin. The photo shoots and interviews can always be rescheduled. It'll all be fine. Now I have to go. We're doing the shot where Ashtons wife finds out that he's been cheating on her with me."

He helps me from the bed by offering me a hand. As I begin walking to the bathroom to shower he quickly envelops me in a tight hug.

"I just want you to be okay." He whispers, as he dips his head onto my shoulder.

I shake out of the embrace and shoot him a sneer.

"I'm FINE. Okay? Your constant hovering is beginning to annoy me. Just leave me alone."

I slam the bathroom door in his face and turn on the shower. When it's just warm enough I step in. As I'm washing myself I begin crying. I begin sobbing so hard that I can hardly stand up. I slide down the tiled wall and pull my knees up to my chest. I put my face in my hands and begin screaming and sobbing.

I am worried. I am scared. I'm so scared that it's not even the morning sickness making me vomit, it's just the cold primal fear in my stomach. Leo's worry and fear just makes it more real. It's too much.

Suddenly the door slams open and the curtain is practically ripped off. Leo looks down at me, his own eyes red, and bends down to pick me up. I hook my arm around his neck to keep myself from falling down, and shove my face into his chest. He cradles me as he walks back to the bed and lays me down.

"V...i'm your fiancé. And as your fiance I am allowed to voice my worry and make certain decisions when needed. Your not going to shooting today. Your not going to do that movie. They'll find someone else. You're not going to any of the fashion shoots or interviews for the next few months. What your going to do is go to the OB/GYN with me, get checked out, relax, drink tea, and let me spoil you. Is that clear?"

I nod and he goes to the bathroom and grabs my towel. He hands it to me and after I'm done drying off he hands me my body butter and long purple night gown. When I'm all dressed I look up at him.

"Does that mean that we can't get married next month?" I ask quietly.

Leo rolls his eyes and sits at the foot of our bed.

"I've already called a priest. We're going to elope with Kristin and Ashton as our witnesses in front of the eiffel tower. And later, after you have our child, we can have the marriage of your dreams. Okay?"

I smile.

"Sounds perfect." I say quietly and yawn. "I feel the need to check on Bradley. And Will. And..." I yawn again. " and Jane. And Emmett. I wanna make sure that they're all alright."

Leo raises an eyebrow.

"Jane? And Will? And Emmett?" He asks.

I nod.

"And Luna and Oliver. At the moment i'm at peace. I just wanna make sure that they're all okay too."

"But...you hate Jane."

I shrug.

"I have to mature Lee-Lee. I'm going to be a mother. I can't have old highschool vendettas. Its unbecoming."

Leo rolls his eyes and hands me my phone.

"Hello?" Will asks.

"Hi Willy! Long time no talk to! Hows it going?"

"Um fine. I'm kind of in a bind her-" I cut him off.

"You should come to Paris. It's beautiful over here. Remember back in the day we used to always dream of coming here and getting married?"

"Um well yeah. But that was in the past." He sounds uncomfortable.

I roll my eyes.

"Duh dipshit. I just wanted to say hi and well...invite you over here. Maybe we can ho to a nice little cafe together. Catch up."

"Yeah. Maybe but I've gotta-"

"It was nice talking to you will. Sorry, I probably woke you up. Different time zones and all of that. Bye now! And remember my invitation."

I hang up on him and Leo chuckles, now at my side, massaging circles on my tummy.

"You're such a weirdo." He says smiling up at me.

"You know you love it." I say sticking my tongue out. "Now just a few more people to wake up..." I dial the next number but then stop.

Why am I doing this now? Whats changed? I look over at Leo and peck him on the lips. Maybe it was him. That changed me.

"Thanks for putting up with me." I say quietly, reaching for his hand and entwining my fingers through his.

He sighs dramatically.

"It's a perilous task. Fit only for the bravest and sexiest of men!" He says, in his medieval douche voice. Then he looks down at me with a small and sweet smile. "But someones gotta do it." He says quietly squeezing my hand.

Emmett

Jane drives me to the playground by the school. I would be wondering why, but I am clasping too tight to the edges of my seat to be worried. I am frightened of this moving vehicle, frightened to death; or perhaps, almost so.

"Emmett, what's wrong?"

"The car." I say, between deep breathes. "Still a bit scary."

"Right, of course. We can get out and walk from here."

"Thank you." We get out of the car, walking over to a bent old willow tree; a bent old tree that feels so familiar, a bent old tree that whispers stories through it's leaves.

Jane gestures me inside the leaves, and the memories hit me as soon as the wind calms down, as though this little bubble is the only way I can retain what I used to have. "This is Lacey's tree. She used to come here when she was little, when people used to bully her." That was such a long time ago, I was proud of myself for remembering that long back.

Jane leans against the trunk, the slim sunlight sparkling on her face. She is so beautiful. She's braided her hair today, and I like how you can see her face when she does, as though it makes her soulful eyes look out at you. I can't believe that I'm her boyfriend, that we could somehow have been together. "Anything else?" She asks.

I want to tell her to stop distracting me, but I shut my eyes and breathe the air. I can see it, a faraway image in the back of my mind; I kissed Jane here, I kissed Jane here for the very first time. "We kissed here. We kissed here, and you pushed me away. We weren't dating yet, were we?"

"No, we weren't." Jane comes over to me, taking my hand. "That was before we happened."

I look down at her. "I must have made a pretty big impact on you."

"The biggest of craters. You're a wonderful boyfriend, Emmett."

"I find it hard to believe you. I can't seem to fight against them, this steady waves of memories. I can't fight against them, but I don't know what's real or not real; sometimes I forget my own Mother's name!" My voice cracks. "But I want you to be real, Jane. I need something to be real."

Before she or I can think it through, we have met halfway. She pushes on my lips, pushes a longing with a impetus that I have never felt before; or wait, maybe I have. I'm only beginning to know, but I can't pull away. I feel the same emotions floating through those leaves as I did the first time, and I know this; Jane is real.

He thinks they never broke up, though... ;)

Lacey

I am one of those odd people who like endings. I like the security of knowing that something is over, that it has no possibilities of coming back up to bite you. I like knowing that all things must move on, and it can get me through some of my darkest days; knowing that, this too, must end.

I don't doubt that I have closed a chapter until I see her on TV. It's the second day at my new school, and my roommate, Gwen, has the TV on as downtime. Gwen is in mostly good taste, being a flame-haired cello player with a peppy attitude, and I was somewhat discouraged finding out about her slight fondness for celebrity gossip.

I put my homework on the desk, trying not to pay attention to the TV until I hear the name 'Kristen Piest'.

I twirl around, unable to stop the insults from flying from my mouth. "That little ho!" Kristen is sitting on Ashton's lap, cute and posed, just like I'd seen her do on Oliver's.

"Hey, calm the rage." Gwen says.

"I know that girl. She was dating a... ah, friend of mine before they both left for Europe. I guess that ended." Oliver, I supposed, was free of both of us, and no longer needed a second thought.

________________

I got my mother's warning text and put on a dress. My Sherlock wallpaper dress, actually, with a little smiley face on the breast pocket. If he noticed, I'd talk to him, if he didn't I'd slam the door in his face like he deserved.

I busy myself. Gwen is out with some writing major friends, so I said I'd stay in and study/play all day. I suppose it was the right decision.

An hour later, he knocks on the door. I open it. We both look at each other.

The first thing he says, after a good moment silence; "Nice dress."

Dammit.

I slip on my converse. "Let's go for a walk."

I take him out around to the lake, and we walk the shores for a while.

"I didn't know you played," was the second thing he said.

"There's a lot you don't know about me, Oliver. It was one date and my brother's life."

He takes a long pause to pick up a rock and throw it across the lake. "How do you like it here? It looks really nice."

"It's fabulous. My roommate is mostly sane and the classes are incredibly unique; it's ten times better than Harmony. At the current moment, I'm glad I'm here. It was the right, most productive choice."

"That's good, Lacey, I'm glad."

More silence. I've been gathering up my courage since he left, and I pull it all out now. I walk in front of him, laying a hand on his chest to halt him. "Why are you here, Oliver? You didn't come back from England just to chit-chat with me." I know I shouldn't say it, but I do. "I saw Kristen on TV. That's why, isn't it? You guys are finally through?"

"You know, Lacey. We have unfinished business."

"Hell no, we don't. It was one date, one nice date. You and Kristen had unfinished business; you were together for a short period of time, something happened. You tried to date me to move past that, but you came back to finish Kristen's business; we weren't unfinished anything, Oliver. We never started." All those feeling pour out of me.

He seems stunned to silence. "But your brother..."

"Was something I will always be thankful for. I think, maybe, you just need to look at the facts; you can't finish a race you were on a set-up crew for."

Oliver takes another pause, a gap the size of the ocean between us. "Tell me something you hate about me."

"What?"

"Tell me."

"You're presumptuous and promiscuous. You make a date with a girl and then dump her for one you've probably already banged. You think 'unfinished business' amounts someone you never forgot screwing with and someone you never really started with. Can I tell you something about unfinished relationships. He leaves his best friend to trick you into thinking you're pregnant just because he screwed you, and you were scared, so you dumped him. That's unfinished business."

"Did that actually... Oh, I'm sorry Lacey."

"Yeah, well, life isn't all unicorns and Sherlock premieres."

He smiles. "Can I tell you what I hate about you?"

"Shoot."

"You're sassy without loosing kindness, and you can stand up for yourself, but not without gaining courage. The person you care for most is your brother. You have the prettiest color of skin, the color Europeans can only strive for. I only had one date, and I haven't fucked you, much less even kissed you, but I kinda think I'm in love with you anyways."

My throat dries, because I don't know what to say or do next. "You know what I hate about you? Those goddamn cheekbones."

And the next thing I know is that he's leaning down, his hand on my face. I'm pressing my body against him just like I've wanted to. I feel, between the layers between us, the light touch of his hipbones, and on my face the brush of his cheekbones. I poor all that hatred into him, thinking that if keep kissing him, maybe it'll spin into something good.

@Desticakes: Aw... thanks!

@Nike: Weird request. Can you not post until Friday? Every time I see Oliver or Jane's post I've got the Lopez siblings running around in my brain. It's hard to concentrate on exams that way. Thanks!
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.

"So...what's going on with her?" I ask Dr.Mendez, Averys personal doctor.

She didn't feel comfortable going to anyone else but him, so we took a flight all the way back to Connecticut. We're still trying to decide whether we should stay here in Harmony, or go to another country. It's so liberating to know that we can just get on a flight and go wherever the wind blows us.

"Well she doesn't seem sick or anything. The nightmares are more common than you think. I'm quite sure that Avery only has a case of doting mothering instinct." Dr. Mendez smiles down at her.

"Well yeah." She says smiling and putting a hand on her stomach. "I can already feel the love for my baby. It's wonderful, and nice, and warm. To just be carrying he or she everywhere I go."

She has such a warm and serene look on her face that for a second I believe that I'm actually staring at an angel.

"But, just to be safe, I'm going to perform an ultrasound just to check on how things are going on in there."

"I'm gonna go and get a coffee. Do you want anything? " I ask Avery, after Dr.Mendez has left the room for her to change into her hospital gown.

"I'm craving black coffee at the moment." She says, stepping out of her yoga pants.

"Well I shall go fetch it!" I lean down and kiss her before going out to the lounge room to get our coffee.

Its when I'm walking back that I hear the scream and my instincts kick in. I run to the room and throw open the door, to find Avery covering her mouth with trembling hands, and tears forming in her eyes.

"She's-" Dr.Mendez begins but Avery cuts him off.

"We're...we're having twins Lee." She says quietly, clearing her throat and removing her hands from her mouth to reveal a shocked smile.

"Really?" I whisper, putting the coffees down and walking to Avery's hospital bed.

She nods her head slowly and I quickly envelop her in a hug. But suddenly Celises face flashes and I pull away.

"I just...I can't believe it." I whisper.

NO WORRY SUNSHINE. I shall not post. I have thoughts running in my head too, maybe we can talk about it?

Jasmine Bradley Urbaniak

Kurwa. Kurwa. Kuuuuurwa. (That means 'fuck' in Polish).

I can't believe how badly I screwed my life over. Ashton is not mine. I ruined that. The only thing that's at a good stand point is Bradley. And I just don't know if that's enough. I bet Avery is gonna hate me because she cares more about Ashton than me. So, yeah. My best friend is out of the cards too.

I can't believe I am in love with him. He drives me crazy. I can't do anything without thinking how to get him back. It hurts like hell. I should've said something the day he was leaving. I fucking should have.

And it's depressing that I'm like this. It's also a little desperate. Which is sad. And sort of disturbing.

So, for my best interest, I should stop.

"Bradley! I brought you your morning..." Stefan said as he walked into my suite but stopped when he say me.

He practically dropped the coffee he was holding when he looked at me. His jaw fell right to the floor. I had to think about why he was so shocked, but then he spoke instead, regaining his confidence.

"I like it, really chic." he paused. "That color and that cut... really matches you."

Then I realized. My hair. I wasn't wearing my wig. Having Stefan in my life was so normal, I didn't notice the difference between two lives sometimes with him. So when I heard him, I thought I was Bradley. Nope. I'm still Jasmine and my cover is blown. Unless he could keep a secret. Uh, no he couldn't.

"Um, it's just a wig." I smiled from my couch. "I was trying new looks. I'll take it off right now."

I got off the couch and walked right past him. But as if I didn't know him, he grabbed my hair and pulled, making me cringe.

"Did you super glue it or something?" he joked.

Turning to face him, I gave him the best look of 'oops'. He smiled, letting his hand go from my hair, then he let himself sit on the couch, putting the coffee tray on the coffee table.

"What's going on, honey?"

Taking a deep breathe, I smiled.

"Stefan, it's a new look. But I don't wanna show anyone. So, I'll wear a wig to concerts."

"Oh," he sat up. "No, don't do that. This look is just to die for. It's fabulous!" he waved his hand all dramatically, making me giggle.

"I... I don't think it's me." I tried.

I couldn't believe how fast my heart was racing, but it was racing. And it was because I didn't wanna get caught.

"Well then, why did you cut it and dye it?" it's like he knew I was lying.

"I was being... adventurous?"

"Sweetie, no one goes on being adventurous and hides it. Now, you keep that look. It'll shock the headlines... in a good way. So, what I'm saying is that you keep it. On the plus side, you look like that Jasmine girl that Ashton kissed in the..." and then his brain started working.

I couldn't stop him if I could. I was about to say something until...

"Wait!" a glow came into his face. "You are Jasmine! That's why he kissed her cause that's you!"

That call from Avery was extremely unexpected. But ever since that call, Harley couldn't stop talking about going to France. She's Avery's friend and supposedly wanted to go so badly it hurt.

"Harley, how 'bout in the summer?" I suggested as we walked hand in hand at the local park.

The snow has slowed down and has been melting, so now it was wet and soggy but warm. Nice enough for us to enjoy.

"If we are dating in the summer, think about that." she smiled, squeezing my hand.

The next second, my phone went off and I checked it with my free hand. It was a text. A text message from none other than Avery Piest. I had thought that phone call yesterday was enough, I guess not. I was probably not hiding my shock since Harley brought her attention to me.

"What's going on?" she asked all worriedly.

I looked at her, sighing.

"It's Avery,"

"Oh," she paused, her mouth shaping into an 'O' shape. I felt some distance between us even though we didn't move. We actually stopped walking down the sidewalk. "What did she write?"

I showed her the phone.

"She wants to see you. That's normal Will. Why are you being all weird about it?" she was being too casual, I knew she was hiding something.

"You know how Avery and I separated." I said. "It's not normal. It's everything but. Even her call was random and I didn't like it."

Nodding her head, she looked away at the trees around us for a moment, than back at me. She squeezed my hand and smiled.

"It's gonna be okay. Maybe she feels bad and misses you..."

I gave a a 'really' face and she giggled.

"If she's gonna be weird... just come with me." I said.

"What?" she looked shocked. "To see your ex, really?"

"Well, it'll help me. You'll be there so she won't pull something weird on me."

She took a deep breathe than spoke again. "No, Will. I think this is private. You guys have to work things out without me."

"She's probably gonna bring Leo too, so it won't be weird. Maybe she wants us to hang together! To like, double date or something."

With a look of disbelief, she put her hands on my shoulders and gave me her stare. It was when I knew I was just trying to cover up the truth. I ran my hand down her cheek and smiled, wanting to kiss those lips of hers.

"You're right, Harley. I'll go alone."

"Harley! Where are you going?" Cal whined, as I slipped on a pair of boots.

Yeah, it was getting warmer. But it was soggy. And my converse wouldn't go right with my sweater.

Will and I were gonna go walking. I guess in the park.

"I'm just going out, Callie." I told her. I'm pretty sure she was the only one who despised of William.

Cal glared at the wall. "With your boyfriend."

Feeling a blush form on my cheeks, I turned and smiled at her. "I'll be back, alright?"

She was really distance.

I reminded myself to go talk to her later, see what her problem is.

Hearing a car pull up, I went to the door and opened it, seeing the familiar pick-up.

Will got out, and smiled from across the yard.

I waved, closed the door, and made my way over to him.

"Ready?" He asked, after he'd kissed my cheek.

I nodded, and he open the passenger side door for me.

Climbing in, I watched him shut my door, and make his was to the driver side.

****************

"She's probably gonna bring Leo too, so it won't be weird. Maybe she wants us to hang together! To like, double date or something." Will said, our fingers entwined.

I looked at him in disbelief, placed my hands on his shoulders, and stared into his eyes. I could see right through him. I could tell he was lying. He was bad a lying.

His face melted, and he stared back at me.

"You're right, Harley. I'll go alone."

I smiled, and tilted my head. "It'll be fine."

He grinned. "Hopefully."

I moved my hands back to my sides, and we stood there for a second, staring at each other.

Will took my hand again, and pulled me closer to him. Smirking, he pressed his lips against mine, and pulled away. "Wanna go get something to eat?"

I pulled him lower so that I could reach him, and kissed him softly on his lips, then nodded. "I haven't eaten yet, so...yeah."

I took Harley back to my place and we ate dinner as we watched a few movies of her choice. Oh, what a good boyfriend I was.

During the movie watching though, my uncle came in and had to talk to me. I felt bad just leaving her alone in the living room. But, it was my uncle and it was my duty. He pulled me to the kitchen and bent down to my level. I couldn't believe how serious he suddenly got.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"Do you remember when Chris went missing?" it's like he was on to something.

I held my breath, afraid if I didn't, I would implode. So, all I did is nod and he got his voice to a whisper.

"Well, we found him."

"Where? How? What happened to him?" I was automatically trying to figure out as much as I could.

He took a deep breath and placed both of his hands on my shoulders. It was a tactic he used with me to calm me down. Everyone knew it worked with me. That's why Harley used it all the time.

"Chris... I'm so, so sorry Will." you already knew.

My throat closed up as tears welled up in my eyes. I couldn't believe it. Chris is dead? No, he couldn't be! It's not possible. It's just, not.

"I have to tell Lena."

And that's when he cringed. Oh no. Not Lena as well. I shook my head, trying to forget about what I had just heard. They cannot be dead.

"Will, they aren't dead." he said.

"Then why did you... unless you're just saying that to make me feel better. Come on Unc!" My voice rose.

"No, Will. They are alive. They just happened to be kidnapped for the last few months. You remember when I told you to stay away from District sixteen, out East? Yeah. They went there for some 'concert' which ended up being a tactic for a hostage situation and eventual kidnapping. They are okay and alive. But they will be in treatment for a long while." He explained at a whisper.

I let out some air that I held in, experiencing a sense of relief. They were safe. That's all that mattered.

"Could I visit them?" I asked after I let all my stress go.

"Only if they want you too." he paused. "Now, go back to Harley. Did you take Roxy for a walk?"

"Yeah, just a while ago."

"Okay, she's not bothering Harley?"

"Surprisingly, Harley likes big German Shepards." I smiled at the thought. "So it's something new, and really really good."

He smiled, patting me on the back. Then, he turned to the cabinet behind him and pulled out a pack of cookies. He put it in my hands and I took it, knowing what he meant by doing so. I gave him a smile in return and walked back in the living room, seeing Harley chomping down on popcorn as she watched.

"You couldn't wait for me?" I joked.

She looked at me, all the color draining from her face. Then she smiled, realizing I was joking.

"If you would've told me!" she smiled.

I placed the cookies on the coffee table and joined her on the couch.

"Are you sure you wanna do this?" Leo asks me, as I flat iron my hair.

I shrug.

"Of course. I'm actually looking forward to it. Why are you worried?" I put down my flat iron and raise an eyebrow at him while placing a hand on my hip.

He shrugs weakly and plops onto my bed with a strange look on his face.

"It's just...well he's your ex, V. And at one point you used to think that this guy was amazing and sexy and the best guy in the world. And now your gonna go and meet him by yourself and...well i'm a bit...well jealous."

I walk over to him slowly with a smile and grab both of his hands.

"One of my favorite things about being with you is that you're alway so honest. Will wasn't like that. He wasn't transparent with me, the one person that he really needed to be open and honest with. If anything, that's enough to drive me away from him. Well and there's this." I say, and place his hand on my stomach.

He smiles to himself.

"Lets get going. I'll drive you over and you can call me when you're done."

I nod my head and grab his hand.

----------------------

"Hmmm...what do you suggest?" I ask the semi attractive male waiter.

He smiles brightly and gets a bit closer to me than called for to point at things on the menu.

"I would suggest the white chocolate strawberries. They're always made fresh, and are grown on a local farm. And they're also an aphrodisiac. Just so you know." He says winking at me.

I raise an eyebrow at him.

"Why-" I look at his name tag. "Sam. Are you flirting with me?" I ask, feigning innocence.

He shrugs with a cocky smile.

"I'm not sure Ms. Avery. I'm not quite sure at all."

"Ah. You've watched the show?" I ask, raising an eyebrow.

He rolls his eyes.

"Everyone has watched that show. But i'm not flirting with you because of that. I meet plenty of famous people daily. This cafe is a favorite among your type of people because of its exclusivity and high quality desserts and coffee. I'm just flirting with you because your beautiful, and I love girls with a cynical personality."

I nod my head and shrug.

"Well sadly, this girl has already been snatched from the market."

"Such a shame." He says beginning to walk away. "We would've had quite some fun together. White chocolate covered strawberries?"

I nod and he walks away. And then a sigh escapes.

Will is late. Like an hour late. Either he got into a horrible car accident on his way, or he never planned on coming in the first place. I find that the latter thought actually really makes me pretty sad. Not that the car accident wouldn't fuck me up. But atleast that would mean that he was trying to get here.

"Avery?"

I jump in surprise and turn around to see Will. Oh yeah. There are two entrances.

"Hey Will." I say standing and hugging him.

"So what exactly did you invite me by for?" He asks, taking a seat across from me.

"I can talk and hangout with my ex boyfriend, can't I?" I ask raising an eyebrow.

"Well didn't you scream at me to never speak, contact, look, or think about you again?"

"Yeah. I did. But you're the one that said that you never wanted to see me again when we were at the beach. So we're kind of even."

Will sighs.

"Avery. I could've been spending this time to cuddle with my girlfriend. What did you want to talk to me about?"

I shrug.

"Why did you choose Jane over me Will?" I ask quietly.

Will opens his mouth, in shock I guess, and begins trying to formulate an answer.

"Avery why-"

"Why did you kiss her when you were with me? That was always a form of cheating to me. You know that."

"I-"

I cut him off again, my voice growing louder.

"Why didn't you care about my feelings? How much i'd be hurt? I understand that you were in a coma, I get that. But I made sure to walk on eggshells when I knew that you were still fragile, and you just went around kissing Jane. What about all of those months I gave up to sit by your bedside? Why isn't that taken accounted for? Why the hell doesn't that matter? Why don't you understand that without me, you'd be dead?"

I sigh and we both stay silent.

"I don't know Avery. I don't know. I'm just trying to move on with me life. Why can't you?"

"Will...that's exactly what i'm trying to do. I'm trying...trying to find some inkling of sense in why you did what you did. I'm trying to not hate anyone. And at the moment, you're definitely on that shit list of mine."

"So why not come to a conclusion on your own, Avery? Why do you have to drag me down to that place with you?"

"You're the one who brought me down in the first place. Unlike you, i'm trying to face what happened head on. Not stay in denial, get a new girlfriend, and try to form a new life all together. Thats borderline pitiful if you ask me."

"Well then here's your answer Avery. I don't know. I don't know why any of that happened before. But i'm trying to move on."

I find myself sighing. Just Will being Will like always.

"Okay. So if thats the case update me on your new and wonderful life. I'd like to know."

"Okay. I've got a new girlfriend, Harley, and she's wonderful. She accepts me for who I am, like I do for her. School has been fine. Your cousin still works there, surprising because his whole family kind of left, and I was expecting him to leave with you all."

"Dylan has always been pretty dedicated to finishing what he starts. He'll be leaving when the school year ends."

"So tell me about your life." Will says folding his hands.

"Well, it seems that i'll be living the perfect life soon. I'm a model for several different high fashion companies, I've been getting movie offers left and right, my manager, Max, says that there's a large chance that I can have my own show by next year. Not like a reality show, but more like a mix of New girl and Gossip Girl. Not to mention that i'll be getting married soon, to the perfect guy. So yeah. Not much to tell."

Will rolls his eyes.

"Your life would've been perfect no matter what." He mutters.

I shake my head.

"Just because i'm wealthy doesn't mean that I didn't work for this. Actually, because of my wealth I worked even harder for it. I was destined for greatness the second that I was born, Will. Honestly, it doesn't matter who I was born to, but just the fact that i'm me, means that I would've gotten to where I am anyway."

I shrug.

"I find that pretty hard to believe."

"Will...honestly what do you work for? Maybe if you actually had something that you worked hard for, putting your everything in, you'd get what i'm saying. But honestly, this is one reason why i'm glad that we're not together. Leo...he's passionate for success. He works hard for his buck, and deserves it when he inevitably receives it. Leo started off as dirt poor, but Will...he's worked like hell to be in the upper middle class by the time he hit 19. And he is. And you? What do you do, Will? You go to school, do your work, hang out with your girlfriend, and what? When we were together you used to always complain about how generic everyone in our school is. But shit, look at yourself. You're literally the worst of them."

Will stays silent and I sigh.

"I'm not trying to be a bitch here, Will. Honestly, I met up with you today because I wanted to be friends. I wanted to put the past behind us, and just move on. That seems to be an impossible task at the moment. So I think that maybe we should just go our own separate ways and forget about each other."

I begin getting up.

"Avery...wait." Will says quietly.

Right when I sat down at the table, I knew how this meeting would go. Avery was the type of person to take control and not realize what she's even saying. I had no chance to respond correctly and honestly, I need to set us straight.

Avery looked at me, standing where she stood. I stood up and walked up to her. I was already uncomfortable here due to how elegant this place was, but now people were staring.

"Listen, Avery. I'll try to explain everything. But you cannot interfere as I talk, okay?" I said softly.

It took her a while to think it over, but when she did, she pushed past me and sat down at our table, eager to listen. I joined her. Now her eyes were on me.

"I'll tell you what happened between Jane and I." I paused. "I didn't kiss her because I had feelings for her. I kissed her being my feelings were taking over me. I was in a bad place, shit, I still am in a bad place. And she was there when I needed someone. So, all my emotions just took over. She tried to help me get through what I'm getting through, as a friend. And now I'm doing it all on my own since she's helping her boyfriend."

She rolled her eyes. Literally. Rolled her eyes. I couldn't believe it. She didn't believe me. Well, it sounded fake when I said it, but it was true. Everything I said was true. But that was Avery for you. If it didn't involve her and didn't sound right to her, it was wrong. She's Mrs. Right.

"Avery, don't do that." I huffed.

"Why don't you start telling the truth, Will? Why do you always have to lie? What are you going through anyway? You have nothing to be going through!"

She completely forgot about my accident. And about the fact that I still feel a little weird being here. I still feel like something is missing. Not being with Avery also hurts me, because it reminds me of her accident... in my coma.

I simply shake my head and laugh in disbelief. I could see her face, her jaw dropped and she gave me a glare.

"What's so funny?" her voice sounded like venom.

Looking at her, I stood up from the table. But just before I left, I stopped to tell her something.

"Have a good life Avery, cause I won't be there to watch it." and I was gone.

Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.
