Kristin was coming back, as if the world knew we needed each other. I love this girl, I missed her so much. I hope everything is okay though.

It's the next day and I'm practically shaking from excitement from seeing her again. She's been missing from my life for too long. As I chowed down on breakfast, I got a text from her saying she'll be by my house in a few. The time difference makes the sleep for her different than mine, she wakes up really early.

So, I placed my bowl of cereal into the sink and ran to my front door, throwing on my coat and boots. It's time to drink some coffee and be best friends again. I heard my mother walking from behind me, so I turned on my heel and gave her a soft smile. She returned it, running her hair through her brunette hair.

"Hey baby, where are you going?" her voice sounded sleepy.

"Just grabbing coffee with Kristin!" I said.

A knowing look shaped her face. "Oh, she's back. I haven't heard about her for a long time. Good. Good she's back. Now you can have someone to talk to other than your mom." she joked the last words.

"Mom, don't make me feel bad."

"I'm just sayin'," she grinned.

I waved to her and closed the door behind me, walking to the elevator shaft. Clicking the button to go down, I tapped my foot against the floor. It took it a few seconds, but then the elevator went 'ding!' and the doors flew open. I automatically started to get in, but before I could stop myself, I collided into a person.

The collision was soft, but still made my head woozy. It took me a second to grasp the world around me, but I eventually got it. Looking up, I caught a familiar face.

"Chandler?" I spit out.

He blinked, taking me in. Then, a small smile creased onto his face, creating dimples on his cheeks. Somehow just seeing him again made my chest burn. In a good way burn.

"Hey, Jane," he scratched the back of his neck. "Hey,"

I ran my hand through my hair and just looked at him, all dumb. It's weird that this was intoxicating and I didn't want to leave him. It seemed like he was in the same position. We only realized we were staring when the doors stared to close around him. He stretched his arms so he could push the doors out of the way, and stepped to the side, giving me room to get in.

Blinking, I walked into the elevator and he walked out. We literally switched places. The doors started to close again and he headed down the hall. Before I could think, I hit the button to open the doors back up and called to him. He turned his head and looked at me.

"What?" he asked, his tone soft.

"Come to my window tonight," I said with a smile. Before he could reply though, I caught a gleam in his eyes as I stepped back into the elevator, hitting the lobby floor button.

***

I tapped on the passenger seat window and got Kristin's attention. She looked over, a wide smile jumping onto her face. I opened the door and hopped in, engrossed in her European music which I loved.

"Kristin!" I smiled.

"Jaaaaane!" she cheered.

We turned to each other and threw our arms around each other for a moment. It was a good hug that made me remember the nights we spent together and the fun times we've had. Once we pulled away, she drove out of the parking lot and back onto the main road.

"It's good to have you back." I said.

"I'm happy to be back Jane, you don't know what happened to me out there..." she shook her head.

"It must've been hard to drive up here, I mean, Oliver lived here."

I saw the tension swift through her body and she griped the steering wheel even harder her knuckles turning white. But then she loosened up, back to old Kristin.

"Yeah, sort of."

***

When we got to Starbucks, our talking started. She explained herself an my heart went out to her. She was best friend and Oliver totally broke her heart. Gosh, I know I was all Lacey would be good for Oliver, but in reality, Kristin deserves him more. Only because she truly loves him.

"Baby, that guy doesn't deserve you." I tried to sound all posh.

A smile creased her face and she downed the last bits of her coffee.

"Jane, what was going on with you?"

And it was my turn now to talk about everything she missed. Starting with Emmett, to Chandler to... Emmett again.

Kissing him. Holding him. Touching him. It all felt intoxicating and right. There was a reason I never gave up on him. I truly loved him. There was something between us and no one could stop it. Not even Kristin with her tactics.

"I love you too Jasmine," Ashton whispered into my ear.

I wriggled my way on top of him and looked him in the eyes. We were in my apartment in France. We flew back in his jet. And yes, we ended up having sex again. I was scared at first, but then I realized that's all I freaking wanted. I missed him so much, I needed him.

"I never said anything." I teased.

He ran his hands down my body, catching the hem of the T-shirt I was wearing. I jacked it from his wardrobe. I liked having something of his on, because well, I could.

"You should get out of this shirt..." he licked his lips, looking down my body. "I like you better with nothing on."

I giggled, lying my lips onto his. He ran his tongue on my bottom lip and I let him in, drowning in his love.

"I missed this." he smirked once we pulled away.

"One night stands?" I joked.

"It was fun while it lasted."

Running my hands in his hair, I smiled back at him.

"So, dating is too much?" I said.

He wrapped his hands around my face, pulling it close so he could kiss me again. But before our lips met, he whispered something.

"All I want is to be with you all the time. So, no, dating is not too much." and our lips met.

It got heated and we started to make out again. I had my hands in his hair and his had his on my waist. The way he kissed made me beg for more. He flipped me over so he could be on top of me and we continued. He started to kiss my neck, making me moan.

"Ashton," I said.

He continued, kissing my collarbone. His hands started to pull my top off.

"Ash," I said more sternly.

Looking up at me, I lifted myself up, making him get off on me for a moment.

"I love this," I paused. "I really love this. But I'm starving."

"I'm hungry for you, Jasmine." he joked. But when he said Jasmine, I felt good. Relieved for some reason too. He didn't think I was only Bradley, he accepted me as Jasmine.

I laughed, pulling him close. He wrapped his arms around me and we were hugging for a few short moments. I pulled away and jumped off the bed, walking to my dresser which had the hotel phone on it.

"Room service?"

"Get out." I say quietly but sternly as Kristin begins trying to explain herself.

"Avey...I had no choice-"

"Of course you did Kris! When I told you how much Ashton was in love with Jasmine and vice versa, you were supposed to do something useful with that information. Not use it to your advantage."

"I...I-"

"How could you be so selfish?" I ask her, crossing my arms and shaking my head.

Her eyes begin filling with tears.

'Because...Because I just wanted Oli. A-and he didn't- no, doesn't want me anymore. And I love him so much. I could see our future. How could you say these things to me knowing that you'd do worse in my position? If your love with Leo was being threatened, how could you judge me, when we both know that you'd do worse?"

I take a deep breathe and look down. She's definitely right. Atleast Kristin tried to get over Oliver. I would've just went straight for the gold mine, and would've gotten us both hurt instead. I sit back on the bed and pat the space next to me. She sniffles as she slowly walks towards me and gingerly sits down.

"I'm sorry, alright? It's just...you've been distancing yourself from me since everything thats happened with Oliver. And honestly I was just worried about you and him. Mainly you though. you're not the type of person to usually do selfish or mean things. And because you weren't opening up to me...well I immediately jumped the gun. I shouldn't have."

I pull her next to me and hug her tightly.

"I think that it's really over Avey. And I... I can't picture myself with anyone else." She says quietly.

I turn and smile into her red and watery blue eyes.

"That's just because you haven't met him yet. And you will. You just have to give yourself time boo."

She nuzzles herself into the crevice of my neck and sighs.

"I have some good news to tell you." I say, pulling her up and smiling brightly.

"What?"

I take a breath and look down. I can't believe that i'm actually gonna tell her. I take another deep breath and look into her eyes.

"You're gonna be an auntie!" I say excitedly and she squeals.

"Seriously?! Oh that's so wonderful! How soon?"

I shrug.

"The next five or so months give or take."

"That's wonderful...Aren't you scared though? I mean you're only eighteen."

I shrug again.

"Not really. I'm just chilling for now. I have my fiance, my job, the house we'll be moving to. Everything is set. And look! The prenatal vitamins have made my hair grow!"

I rip my hair tie from my now thick and long hair and shake it out and she just stares in shock.

"It was only shoulder length last time I saw it! Wow...and can I see the belly?"

I blush and remove my plush robe to reveal my slightly bulging belly. I'm big enough at this point to really...well look pregnant. Her eyes widen and she reaches her hand to touch it.

"There's a little life in there." She says, almost whispering, staring down dreamily at my stomach.

I shake my head softly and place my hand on top of hers.

"Lives. Plural. It's twins."

Her eyes widen even more if possible and she lets out a soft gasp.

"That's amazing." She says her voice still a bit dreamy.

I let out an uncontrollable huge yawn and she yanks her hand back with an almost shy look on her face.

"Are you okay?" She asks worriedly.

I nod and shrug with a smile.

"Yep...it's just my energy hardly lasts up until the afternoon. I guess that it's almost time for my nappy nap." I say stretching and shooting her a sleepy smile.

She stands slowly.

"I've gotta get going anyway. You should get to sleep...you are sleeping for three." She says giving me a wide smile.

I'm about to refuse when I let out another huge yawn. And then I shrug.

"Maybe you're right. Get to where you havta be. I'll call you when I wake up. Your room is the same, and i'll call when I wake up. Just to make sure that you're okay. There is a lot of black ice on the ground, and I don't want you to get into an accident."

She shakes her head and laughs.

"Your maternal instincts are already kicking in."

I nod.

"And...just make sure to tell no one about this. I wanna keep it under wraps, kay?"

She nods and kisses my forehead quickly.

"Promise."

I tap my chin with my nail as I think on what Jane has just told me. Chandler, Oli's friend that he sent to help her out. And Emmett, the love of her life who's lost his memory but is already showing signs of love.

"You're just really lucky if you ask me boo boo." I say with a soft smile and shrug.

She gives me an annoyed look.

"Hardly. I'm caught in a bit of a cross roads. If I step any farther with either of them, then there's no going back for the other. It's a total take it or leave it."

She takes a sip of her cinnamon dolce latte and looks tragic for a second. I swap a hand at her.

"Believe me, it's simpler than you think Janey. Just think of the one you can't live without, and the one you can see with a truly developed and nice future with. Although that may sound a tad bit hard now, think it over. Now...what are you up for, for tonight?" I ask, looking through my purse for my iphone.

Her eyebrows crinkle adorably.

"Um...I kinda have those plans with Chandler...the whole window thing." She says raising an eyebrow.

I look down and frown.

"Oh yeah...dammit. My new agent needs me to come to a lingerie fashion show tonight, just to watch, and I was kind of hoping to have a friend." I sigh " Oh well."

She frowns and truly looks sad for a moment.

"I'm sorry Kris. I'd love to go but..."

I wave my hand at her.

"Its fine boo boo. Don't worry about it. You have a fun little... 'discussion' with Chandler and text me all of the details after. I have to shower and get changed for that show."

I stand and offer her my hand.

"Lets get going. I'll see you in school soon too by the way." I say as I help her up.

"Seriously? Oh thats great! Things have been so boring! And how do you plan to balance school and modeling?"

I shrug.

"Honestly, I don't really need to go. I just want something to do when i'm not modeling. It gets boring in between jobs you know." I shrug, as I open the door to my car.

--------------------------

"Oh Kristin! You look favoloso!" My manager exclaims as I step out of my town-car and into the busy sidewalk.

I plaster on a smile and look down at my backless Azzaro black and gold trimmed knee length dress, and my black and gold leather Louboutin peep toe heels. All complimented by the gold chained knuckle clutch i'm carrying and black and gold chain hanging to my stomach with my gold and crystal chandelier earrings.

"Oh thanks Dominic. It didn't take too long to pick out the whole outfit." I say with a small shrug hoping that he'll drop it.

"And that updo! The messy fishtail bun with the side bang! Meraviglioso!" He says in his native italian. Translation: Marvelous.

I sigh and my smile drops the tiniest.

"And the natural makeu-"

"Maybe we should get inside and...you know...promote myself a bit?"

He nods excitedly and grabs my forearm leading me through the people like a bulldozer. He introduces me to some brand-name CEO's and owners, and shows me off a bit. He doesn't give his card to everyone for contacting me, only the biggest most well known companies. Soon the lights lower and everyone is herded to their seats.

"Welcome everyone to tonights Bordelles fashion show! Our models have worked hard for you today, and we truly hope that you enjoy it!"

"I seriously hate these things Gina..." I hear a guy behind me whispering.

I slightly turn and almost gasp when I see that the guy is my age and so. Fucking. Sexy. His dark blonde hair is stylishly ruffled and slightly falling into his bright blue eyes. His fit body fits well in his tux, and jesus those pink succulent looking lips.

"It's not my fault that you would rather be with a bunch of drunken college kids and pot heads with a fucking bong in your mouth. I'm just trying to make my boyfriend a bit more classy, is that too much to fucking ask?" The girl next to him hisses.

Holy hell she's gorgeous! Shiny light golden brown hair, falling down past her shoulders in nice beachy waves, while her gray (practically silver) eyes reflect off of the golden ambiance light shining from the stage. Her slender frame and rosey cheeks contrast greatly from the sharp words coming out of her mouth.

Suddenly the music starts and I know that the models will begin filing out soon but I can't stop staring at the beautiful bickering couple.

"Holy shit..." The guy whisper his eyes suddenly on the stage. "Is that Avery?"

I whip my head back to the stage and low and behold it's Avery! She's wearing a short black silk robe and is steadily pulling it back to reveal a stark white lace girdle with suspenders strapped to sexy intricately designed tights in a pair of white with gold trimmed pumps. Her face is smiling a sexy seductive smile and you can't even see the baby bump under the girdle. Her hair is flying behind her because of the invisible fan and her full bodied bronze and golden curls are flying almost like a sheath. She bats her wide green eyes and winks at the crowd.

I turn back to the guy as he stares at her like he's in a dream as the girl sneers at her. Well someones gonna have to answer some questions. The guy suddenly meets my eyes and his eyes widen even more and he smiles brightly. I find myself smiling too and for a second the whole world blurs out.

"Hey...I'm Tristan Gensin. A photographer. Whats your name?"

I'll admit. I'm falling for Lacey with each passing day. She's a really great girl. But I have this itching feeling that I don't deserve her. She's been there. I've been there. But I pushed her away before. It's not fair that I get her back like that. It really isn't.

Not having sex with her? That's nothing. I don't care. Okay, I do. But it doesn't bother me. She's a really good person.

And I don't deserve her.

It's been a month. She has enjoyed being here and I enjoyed her being here. I feel like she should go back to school though. She has to go back to Emmett. He needs her more than I need her.

"Lace?" I asked.

Her beautiful eyes jump from the book she's reading to mine with curiosity. I swallow hard and run my hand through my hair.

"Do you want to go back?" I add.

"Back to... London? Yeah, I'd love to." she didn't get what I was saying.

Shaking my head, I took a deep breath. I'm sure she could see how nervous I was.

"Do you want to go back to America?"

It took her a moment to think, but once she heard my question, she completely spaced out. As if not understanding what I meant. But then, she shut her book and gave me a hard look.

"What's going on?" her tone was sort of tired. "Do you want me to go back?"

"No," I paused. "No, I really love it that you're here. But, your school... Emmett,"

"My school is fine with me being here, and Emmett has Jane."

I sat up in my chair, making myself more comfortable. That made her shift on the couch.

"Jane is someone he doesn't know, he knows you. Don't you think he wants to see you or something?"

"You really want me to leave, don't you?" her face got angry, her eyebrow growing together.

My heart jumped as I replied honestly. "No,"

"No?"

There was silence as I stood up, walking up to her to sit next to her. I sat down and took her hand in mine, getting her attention.

"Lacey, I am falling in love with you and it's scaring me. But that's not the thing," I paused. "You should go to Emmett."

She laced her fingers between mine, squeezing for a moment. Then, she looked into my eyes and gave me a soft smile. It made my heart lift.

"Babe, I love you." her voice was weak. "And I think you're right. I should go to Emmett."

After my run, I went inside of the house, and shut the door tightly.

I touched my lip, and said loudly; "Halana! I'm back! It was a really bad run today. Not only the weather..but I got my lip cut."

I heard her get up, and she entered the room a few seconds later.

She furrowed her brows, obviously worried. "What happened?"

"I just...I fell. Busted my lip." I pressed my lip gently. "It's numb. Feels really weird when I touch it."

Halana smiled softly at me, and got some tissue.

She told me to go sit down while she got the first aid kit out of her room.

I did as she was told, and walked into the kitchen. A person was sitting at the island.

A person. My boyfriend. "Will?"

He turned his head, and immediately looked at the tissue I was holding to my face.

I looked to the side, then back at him. "..what are you doing here?"

His lips pursed together, and he seemed concerned. "I just wanted to see you. I haven't bothered to even call...and I wanted to apologize for that. What happened to your lip?"

Didn't he hear me come in? Or say what happened?

I was so short, he was sitting down, and we were face to face. That was sad.

Will lifted his hand slowly, and pulled the tissue back. He cringed a bit.

I'd forgotten he asked me a question. "I was running, and fell.."

I looked up at his face, then his eyes. He looked at mine, and smiled. Will pressed the tissue back against my lip as Halana walked in with the first aid.

She put the little box on the island, and pulled out the Neosporin, and a little bit of gauze.

I sat down by the chair in front of her, and she put some Neosporin on a piece of gauze, and dabbed it on my lip.

"Don't talk for a little, Harley. It'll help with the healing process." She said, then put the things back in the kit.

I nodded once, and she smiled, then walked away, kit in hand.

Will reached over, and grabbed my hand.

I stood up from the chair, and he pulled me closer to him.

I tried to smile, but the cut on my top lip prevented me from doing so.

He stood up, and bent down to my ear, his arms around my waist. "I'm happy that's all you hurt." He paused, then said, "I missed you."

I squeezed his hand, and flicked my eyes up at his.

He kissed my cheek softly, and nuzzled his face into my neck, placing soft kisses on it.

"You wanna go get something to eat? Er...drink?" He asked, his face still in the same position.

I closed my eyes, and nodded. I felt a smile grow on his face.

"Let's go, then. I'll tell Halana. Go get in the truck?" He whispered.

I wished I could smile. I tried to, but it ended up hurting my mouth.

He pulled away, grinned at me, then turned to go find Halana.

I ran upstairs, and changed quickly, then went out to his pick-up.

It was so familiar.

I thought of a few months ago, when I had no friends, just another loner.

Halana was right. Good things did happen over time.

I climbed in, and shut the door behind me.

A few minutes later, Will opened the front door of the orphanage, turned and said something, waved, then closed the door, and made his way to his truck.

I buckled my seatbelt, and gazed at him as he climbed in, his lips still curved into a smile.

"I really did miss you, Harley."

I took her to a local place. It was called 'The Shack' and consisted of shack like entrees. They had fish & chips, hot dogs, and hamburgers. I knew that this seemed sorta like I was just getting us somewhere, but honestly, this is one of my favorite places to eat. I've loved it ever since I was a kid. My Uncle John always took me here, especially after school.

"Like? Or no?" I asked once we sat down.

She scanned the place than looked back at me, giving me a shy smile.

"It's alright," wasn't very convincing, but I let it go.

"Listen, I'll grab us my favorite and I'm sure you'll love it."

She just nodded and I hopped out of my chair, walking up the the ordering counter. There were people lined up, but at the pick-up part of the counter. So, I got over to the register and smiled at the guy behind it. There was a huge chalk board sign above him with the menu, but I already knew it by heart.

"Two Fajita gyros please." I said.

The guy nodded, typing in something into the register. He then pulled at a receipt and handed it to me.

"Two-eighty," he replied.

I pulled out the money and handed it to him, exact change. He took it and I walked over to the pick-up station.

When I got the food, I walked back to our table and sat down across from her, handing her her gyro. She eyed it for a moment then opened it. I opened my aluminum foiled gyro as well, watching the steam fly out of it. I was already licking my lips as I brought it to my mouth.

As I chowed down, I caught Harley trying to get the gyro into her small mouth. It didn't work. So I set mine down and walked over to the counter again, grabbing a fork for her. I walked back and handed it to her. She gave me a smile in return, taking it.

***

After the whole Gyro eating, we left the place and I took her to downtown Harmony. It was snowy, cold, but beautiful. Her hand was in mine and we just followed the sidewalk and exchanged a few words.

"So..." she sighed.

I felt like she was going to say something, but she let it escape from her mind. My fingers gripped hers tighter, signalling I was ready to hear whatever. She let a breath escape her mouth and gave me a short glance. I looked ahead of us and spotted Jane. She was walking out of a bookstore with a few books under her arm. A dazzled look jumped on her face when she saw me. And then she shifted her eyes to Harley. My throat closed up.

"Jane," I said.

Now she had no form of escape. She walked over to us, a soft smile playing on her face. It didn't feel awkward, I just felt bad for not telling her about Harley. Her eyes shifted to our hands than back at my face.

"Hey Will, long time no see." she said, her voice sweet.

"Yeah," I paused. "This is Harley. Harley, this is Jane. She's a good friend."

Harley nodded with a small smile and short hello. Maybe she felt awkward. I looked over at the books in Jane's hands. She followed my gaze and a soft blush jumped onto her cheeks. She looked back at me.

"I'm the bookworm, ya' know." a small laugh escaped her. "You treating her well?" she asked.

"Well, I believe so." I looked at Harley. "Right?"

It's like she wasn't even listening. She looked up at me then at Jane. Then she nodded, a smile coming back to her face.

"He's always good." Harley finally said something.

"Great," Jane said. "It's good to see you again Will, good to meet you Harley. I gotta run, sorry to cut it short." Jane had that thing in her that made her very elegant, lady-like.

"It's cool, I'l see you." I smiled.

"See ya'," Harley said.

Jane gave us a smile and walked past us to the parking lot. We kept on walking forward and didn't speak. It was like something was clouding between us. Honestly, I was afraid Harley would suddenly blow up.

"You fucked her, didn't you?" Harley said, her voice uneasy.

I turned to look at her, my jaw dropping. She took me by surprise, literally. She never really swore around anyone. Never at me. And the way her voice sounded, it made me shiver. Something was definitely wrong.

"Where did you get that idea?" I asked, bewildered.

"You were the Will she was talking about at Avery's wedding thing. She was defending you. I thought you were some sort of jerk to Avery, cause I liked her. I never heard your side of the story.... Jane said most of it. I mean, you seemed like you didn't mean anything to happen, you were innocent... but still. You were hurt, doesn't mean you can cheat on Avery like that." it was like she was a whole other person.

Her hand even slipped out of mine, leaving mine cold and unwanted. So, I stuffed both my hands in my pockets and faced her. I wanted to see her when she spoke.

"I, Harley, I was going through something... still am actually." she shook her head at me, disbelief on her face. It made me hurt.

"You can't blame everything on your coma, Will."

"I'm not. Jesus, it's not easy. It's easy with you, I forget about when I'm with you because you weren't there!" I tried.

"Listen, Will... I felt bad for Avery." she didn't even look at me.

I let out a short laugh and looked at the sky, taking a few deep breaths. Harley still stood in front of me, the tension building between us. I looked back down at her and tried again.

"You felt bad for Avery. Well, you shouldn't have. She didn't help me, she just thought I'd be fixed. I still think sometimes I'm in a coma. I wake up in the middle of the night, screaming form nightmares. I don't know if this is real or not. How did I see Leo in my coma? I have never even met him before my supposed coma. Seeing him now feels like I'm in a coma now since I met him before. That is one question." my arms were flaying around as I spoke, my voice was frantic.

Harley looked at me this time, hurt flying through her eyes. I put my head in my hands and let out a breath, shutting my eyes. Lifting my head back up, I looked at her, waiting for a response.

"I actually have no answer..." she said.

"That's what I thought. I'm a crazy man."

"No, no you're not." her voice jumped.

I need to know an answer as to how I saw Leo without seeing him before. Or Kristin. Or Oliver. I've never met them before this 'coma'. What if I met them before, if that was real life and now I am in this coma. That's why I see them now. Then How did I see Harley? Dd I make them up, her up? Oh no, I forgot to take my meds. No, This is just who I am. I'm over thinking.

No, I am not.

And suddenly I'm shaking. My mind is filled with thoughts and I feel fingers clawing at my hair. Wait, those are my fingers. My eyes are shut as I clench my teeth. In a second, arms are around me, leading me somewhere.

The next thing I know, I hear a beeping noise around me and smell the familiar scent of detergent and cleanse. I'm in a hospital.

Tristan

"I'm Kris-"

"Nice to meet you. I'm Gina. Tristans girlfriend." Gina says as she slowly extends a hand to Kristin.

I roll my eyes and just as I bring them down I get one last glimpse of Averys ass. Jesus. I take a breath and then turn to Gina.

"She was in the midst of introducing herself. That was rude." As soon as she begins glaring at me I turn back to the beautiful girl that caught my attention in the first place. "I apologize for her rudeness. Your name is?"

The girl smiles and her eyes light up beautifully.

"My name is Kristin. Kristin-"

"Piest. I'm her manager Dominic Giovatti. If you want to work with her you have to go through me."

I raise an eyebrow.

"You're related to Avery?" I ask, surprise unintentionally filling my voice.

She looks back up at the stage as if expecting to see her but now a redheaded skinny girl is trampsing around up on the run way. She turns back to me with a strange look on her face at first, but then the smile comes back.

"Yep. She's my cousin. How do you know her?"

I shrug.

"School. We used to be close friends but that ended once she started dating Allen." I shrug. "Shit happens."

She nods.

"I heard that Allen was a dick. And Avey turned into a dick when she was with him. So I don't blame you."

I shake my head and the next words come out without my meaning them to.

"It wasn't that. We-" Gina pinches my thigh hard and I glare at her.

"Allow Kristin and I to watch the show, babe." She says through gritted teeth.

I shake my head in disgust at her but turn my head back to the stage. But my attention ends up landing on the beautiful blond hair piled up into some intricate looking updo. The pale neck. The delicate shoulders. And then her side profile pops up into my head. Those gorgeous blue gray eyes, with those high cheek bones and princess like features. And then those inviting pink lips of hers.

Out of nowhere I feel Gina beginning to stroke my thigh. I turn to her and find that her face is turned towards the show. When I look at Gina, all I see is something I don't want. I used to think of her as so beautiful, until I met Avery. When her beauty in my eyes paled to Averys, she just began turning sour. Now she had to rely on pure physical activity to get me to pay her any attention.

I consider letting Gina just continue until she asks me to go into the bathroom for a quick fuck session. But for some reason when I look back down at the girl, Kristin, I don't feel horny. I just feel a weird tugging feeling in me. In my chest. I swat away Gina's hand and she glares at me again.

"I'm going to the bathroom. You better come in there after me." She says quietly as she gets up and begins walking away.

I move quickly as soon as she's out of my line of sight, taking out my wallet and a card inside. I tap Kristin and she turns hesitantly. I smile at her.

"Don't worry the wicked witch is gone. Here," I say as I hand her my card. "Call me. Whether it's for work or not. I want to see you again."

And then without hesitating I get up and begrudgingly walk to the bathrooms where Gina is waiting in the doorway with a chesire cat like smile.

Perfection perfection perfec-

My phone rings one of Jasmines songs (all of my contacts now have their own Bradley ringtone) and I slowly turn to pick it up. Jasmine is inside of the bathroom getting ready so now I'm just lounging around.

"Ash?" Kristin asks hesitantly.

"Hey Kris. Hows the world treating you?"

"I'm good. You're not...?"

I laugh out loud.

"I'm not mad at you Kris. You're one of my best friends. I couldn't be mad at you for something dumb like what happened at the party or whatever. Actually it just brought me and Jaz closer."

She lets out a sigh of relief.

"Oh god I'm so glad. Again I'm so sorry for what happened Ash. I owe you-"

"One, you have nothing to apologize to me about. Two, you owe me nothing. Again. Best friends. We don't owe each other anything. We just do stuff for each other. Kay?"

"Kay. But...I need a favor." She says, her tone a tad nervous.

"Sure. Anything. " I say without hesitation.

"I would kind of like to get the background info on this guy, Tristan Donovan Gensin, like asap."

I sigh and begin texting my private eyes as we speak.

"How soon we talkin?"

"Like...tonight?"

I sigh again.

"I'll try my best. I've already texted Roan. May I ask why?"

"Well...I'll be going to his penthouse tonight. Alone. And I just wanted to know if there was anything I should know."

"Already moving on from me?" I ask jokingly.

I can practically feel her rolling her eyes through the phone.

"And what happened to dedicating yourself to your modeling?"

"Well he's a photographer." She says defensively.

I laugh out loud.

"Probably a hot one. Well I'll give you whatever info you need when I get it. Talk to you later and stay safe."

"I will. Love ya Ash."

" Love ya too Kris. Tell Ave, Lee, and inbred chick I said hello."

"Her name is Jane dipshit." She says and hangs up.

"Who was that?" Jasmine asks as she walks out of the steaming bathroom drying her hair.

I shrug.

"No one important." She eyes me strangely and I put up my hands "Seriously. Nothing for you to worry about."

She nods her head to herself and I turn to her with a smile.

"Crepes?" I ask innocently

Kristin

"Welcome to my humble abode!" Tristan says opening his door wide for me.

I peek my head in and smile.

"Nice studio. So what would you like to discuss?"

He claps his hands together once and smiles.

"Lets get to business then. You can have a seat on the table and i'll get a few documents and samples. Is that cool with you?"

I smile and nod and walk over to the tall round metallic table and take a seat on the comfortable red stool and swing my feet. I dressed pretty simply for this meaning, only a black and white striped off the shoulder, skinny jeans, and my black and white converse heels.

I look around the room and immediately fall in love with it. The dark purple walls, the printed drapes, the pictures of various things from nature, to vintage, to models, to antique cars.

"Would you like anything to drink?" He asks, coming back into the room, his arms full of folders, booklets, and papers.

"Whatcha have to offer?"

He looks me up and down with a smile.

"I think I have something you'd like."

As soon as Tristan walks out I check my phone to see a new message from Ashton.

Roan says that the guy is clean. Graduated early due to academic genius and an early photography scholarship. No criminal records, all good things. You're safe. And don't forget to be safe ;)

I let out a sigh of relief. Tristan comes back into the room with a huge mug. I raise an eyebrow.

"What is this?" I ask eyeing the mug.

"My tristy drink. Here taste."

"Whats in it?" I ask, not accepting the mug.

He rolls his eyes.

"I'm not drugging you Kristin. Just taste it. Trust me, you'll like it."

I hesitantly accept the mug and take a small sip and widen my eyes.

"Jesus Christ this is good!" I exclaim.

He laughs and sits down across from me.

"I knew you'd like it! It's a mix of chai tea, hazelnut and french vanilla coffee, one brazilian expresso shot, caramel creamer, one teaspoon of honey, and a pinch of cinnamon. Good?"

I smile brightly.

"Deliciously good. So what would you like to discuss?"

"Well your press coverage, your experience, your comfortability being in front of a camera, your limits, your passions, and your opinion on some of these pictures."

I nod.

"What exactly will you be doing for me if I accept you?"

"I'll be taking care of your training, website, your headshot and interview pictures, and really anything else I can help you with."

I nod taking it in.

"Okay...so you're hired."

His eyes widen and he raises an eyes.

"But-"

"I feel that we'll work together well, and I like your photos. So you're hired."

"Well...um okay. Let me get the papers."

What I chose not to tell him is that I just want him to be around me. Theres something special about him that I just...love. Or I don't know. Feels like a weird pulling in my chest. Without thinking, I slip my phone out of my purse and take a quick instagram picture of him. He quickly looks up at the flash and my phone is able to catch the perfect picture of him, his blond hair ruffled and his blue eyes widened in surprise, and the slightest hint of a smile.

"So we're starting now?" He asks with a smile.

Yep yep!" I nod as I upload the picture and title it as "My new colleague".

Emmett Lopez- Medieval Warp- Elyeam of Lopez

"Elyeam! Get that, would you?"

The Court Physician, Meric, is holding at least two poisons in is hands, bending over the cluttered table, but he would make me get the door even if he weren't. I carefully place down my own handful of herbs, dodging through the cluttered space I share with the elderly Meric. I open the door to see my sister, Lisabeth, dressed in the new clothes the Queen provided her in one of her sweeter mood swings.

I shut the door behind me, pushing Lisabeth into the hallway. Her new dress, or at least the lace on the bodice, scratches me. "What do you need?"

She laughs at my worried tone. "I'm fine; the Queen is harder work with child, but she is also far kinder. She sent me on break, telling me to fetch her some food from the kitchen on the way back. Mary, the kitchen head," she must see my confusion on those with those of Lower Status, so she says, "the fat one, smells like food all the time? Anyway, not important. She told me one of her girls was sick, and she needed you to attend to her."

I look at my sister. She looks so different, her hair long down the back at her bosom flaunted to the world, so different from the little girl who refused to work. This frightens me, certainly more than it should. A Lady-In-Waiting is a good job, but you never hear good stories about the women themselves.

"What's the girl's name?"

"I'm afraid she didn't tell me anymore than she that she had the first room in the Servant's quarter's."

I feel a surge of annoyance; must they treat those in the Lower Classes as to get help, but not deserve a name? "I can see what can do, Lisabeth. Thank you. Best not be late for the Queen; hear those mood swings swing worse as the child grows on!"

"Yes, that it is true! That nursemaid is a help, though! I am so appreciative towards her hire! Best be going, then, brother. Merry meet."

"Merry meet."

Lacey shuffles off. I poke my head back into the crowded room.

"Ill servant?" Meric guesses, not even looking up from his potion mixing.

"Yes, sir."

"Best be on. I need you here, but someone else needs you otherwise."

I grab a few herbs from the front shelf, not even looking at them to guess the disease; a few servants have had minor ills of late, all recovering from them rather quickly. I make my way to the servant's hallway, stopping to get a bucket of water. Though Meric's Laboratory is crowded will potions and herbs and sometimes the ill, it smells far better than the dreariness that is the servant's chamber's.

Following Lisabeth's instruction's, I duck into a room. There is a singular girl lying there, sweaty and ill in the miniscule space.

I dab her forehead with water. "I'm Elyeam. I'll be here to fix you today." I like talking to the sick. Meric thinks I am strange, but I believe it helps.

She is a very pretty girl, a very pretty girl, especially for a servant. She is clean, even in sickness, and her brown hair spreads around her. "Can you hear me?"

"Hmm..."

"I'm going to rub some of this on your face now." I take the sticky mixture, smoothing it across her hot forehead. The mixture is better on the stomach or feet, but those cases only usually happen with male patients. I prop her up, getting her to drink some water. "You need to drink lots of water, okay?" I drop a few herbs in the bucket of water, lying the drinking flask besides it. "You'll get better soon." I also leave the mixture. "I will be back soon."

I go to leave, but she catches my wrist, muttering, "Please... stay."

I must go, for Meric would be angry, but I must stay for this particular illness. I linger longer, mashing the herbs up. It would be sinful to leave and not see her signs of well, so I wait.
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.

Harley- Medieval Warp- Miss Harley Mae

I'd been requested by the Queen.

While I smoothed down my dress, I walked down the humongous halls, and stopped in front of two guards, whom were standing in front of two big doors, guarding them.

I took a deep breath, and smiled at them. "Queen Avelyn has summoned me."

They nodded, and moved aside, opening the doors in the process.

"Much appreciated." I said to both of them, and walked through the doors.

"Ah, Miss Harley! Come, come." The Queen beamed, motioning me forward.

Queen Avelyn had hired me when she'd found out she was having a child. I would be the Nursemaid for their baby.

From where I was standing, I could see the small bump on her stomach.

I took a few steps closer, wondering what they'd called me for.

"Harley, tell me, how is my child's room coming?" The King asked, his eyes fixed on his Queen.

"Well, it's almost finished! I know the baby is not due for a few more, but I have stayed up all night, every night ever since your highnesses hired me, working on the room with the others." I told them, grinning.

"Well, I am delighted!" Queen Avelyn replied, giving me a small smile.

The Queen placed her hand on her baby bump, and gazed down at it.

"May I..?" I asked quietly, taking a step forward.

"Certainly!" She exclaimed, waving at me to come to her.

Quickly, I moved to her side, and bent down, observing her baby bump.

"Oh, this is...wonderful." I whispered, "Your highness, do you know the date that you are due yet?"

"We are not entirely sure, Miss. But we will know soon enough." The King said, taking the Queen's hand.

I stood up, and stepped back. "Queen, do you need anything else? I must be back to designing the room."

Queen Avelyn smiled up at me, and shook her head once. "You may leave, Miss Harley."

I nodded once, curtsied, and left the room.

As I walked down the halls once again, somebody approached me. "Would you happen to have a minute to talk?"

I recognized the voice instantly. Sir William, one of the knights.

"I-I'm not sure that's such a good idea...but, you have a minute." I whispered, looking around.

Avery Piest- Medieval Warp- Queen Avelyn Piest

"Oh...Leo you're back. Would you mind helping me out of this maternity corset? It truly is a difficulty." I don't turn as I feel his strong hands untie the satin ribbons of my corset.

I let out a sigh when it is off, and turn back with a bright smile, but gasp sharply when I see who it is behind me. He quickly covers my mouth and places a finger to his lips.

"My queen...please don't make too much of a ruckus. It was hard enough getting through your palace guards to begin with." He says with a naughty smile.

I roll my eyes in exasperation and wave his hand away. But I can't keep the smile from forming on my face when he takes his hand off of my mouth.

"You're back..." I say quietly, my eyes filling with tears. "I thought...I thought that i'd never see you again."

He chuckles and looks deeply into my eyes.

"I promised you that i'd come back for you. To take you away from this. I found a place, while traveling with the brigade. We can build a small cottage when we get there. We can raise our children in peace. Without the constant threat of war upon us."

I smile and shake my head.

"My father really did know how to create some bad tension, didn't he?" I look down. "I just feel bad leaving Leo to have to deal with it. He really loves me...but...I have no feeling other than friendship for him."

He waves away that comment in annoyance.

"He'll be fine Avelyn. There are plenty of princesses that he can take to wed in nearby kingdoms. But I need you. And only you."

I take him into my arms and hug him tightly. He hugs me back just as tightly and I sigh.

"Is it a long voyage, my love?"

"A bit. It will take about one fortnight. I averaged that it would be a few more days than it took myself and the brigade because you're carrying the baby."

I nod and pull back.

"When shall we leave?"

He looks up to think and I admire him for a few seconds.

"The next full moon."

I almost gasp.

"That is only two days from now!" I exclaim loudly.

He quickly looks behind him at the door and covers my mouth again. I giggle and lick his hand and he rolls his eyes.

"It has to be soon my dearest. A few of the other knights have been watching me strangely and I believe that they think that I am up to something. If we ever want to leave, it has to be soon. Especially with the constant threat of war upon us. I refuse to let you stay here in those conditions."

I nod and he lets go of my mouth.

"I must leave soon, for if the king finds me i'll be fiercely punished, and it'll be even harder to get to you. I can't let that happen. You know how protective he gets when it comes to you."

I force on a smile and nod. He worriedly looks at me and puts a finger to my chin and lifts it.

"What is wrong?"

I feel my eyes beginning to fill with tears again.

"I'll never be able to see my kingdom again, beloved! I'll-i'll never again be able to see my Kristin."

He smiles and wipes the tears from my eyes.

"Alas, in a few years, after they have given up looking for you, you can return in a disguise and see your cousin again. Alright?"

I nod and he softly presses his lips against mine. I pull him closer and sigh in his warm embrace. He lies down onto his back on my bed and I fall on top of him. I allow my dress to ride up. He runs his hand up my thigh and toys with my lace garter as I moan into his mouth wanting more.

Suddenly he's lying me on my side and pulling himself up, his face red and his eyes wide with lust. He licks his lips and looks down at me, my gold day gown ridden up, my corset open and revealing my heaving chest. He continues to stare at me for a few seconds but soon shakes his head and begins standing.

"I shall give into temptation once we're finally away from this damned place. But I must leave now to start preparing our carriage. Pick out a few of your favorite dresses, petticoats, capes, whatever you favor. I'm going to leave now, but i'll try to check on you tomorrow."

I nod and pull myself up.

"I love you, Duke Aschetel."

Some of his dark red hair falls into his blue eyes and he smiles widely at me.

"And I, you, My Queen Avelyn."

He begins walking to the door and for a second I feel panicked with my task.

"Ash!" He stops and looks back curiously.

I get up and take him into my arms tightly.

"Promise me that things will go nicely."

He kisses the top of my curly head.

"I promise you on my heart and soul that everything will go perfectly. We'll leave here, you'll give birth to our child, and we will live happily ever after."

I look up at him and get on my tip toes and kiss him sweetly.

"Alright. I love you."

He nods with a smile and quickly walks out of my room.

Kristin Piest- Medieval Time warp- Duchess Kristin Madelyn Piest

"No thank you, Peter." I say annoyedly, as I quickly try to walk away from the badgering knight.

"But Duchess, I promise you, it truly is a beautiful embroidery in my room! You'll fall in love with it!" He calls out desperately.

I sharply turn to him and cross my arms over my bosom.

"I am not stupid Peter! I know that you are trying to bed me, and i'd like no part of it whatsoever. I am a married woman, and you wouldn't like the duke of Madelyn stringing you up now would you?"

He shakes his head and looks down.

"Now try to use that pitiful embroidery excuse on someone that will fall for it. Alright?"

He nods like a smacked puppy, and I continue my path.

"Mary!" I call out happily to the kitchen head.

Her red and pudgy face looks up in surprise.

"Oh my dearest Kristin, I mean Duchess! I had no idea that you would be at the palace today! I thought that your new duties as a wife would take up all of your time!"

I wave my hand and roll my eyes as I push myself up onto the large counter on the other side of the kitchen.

"Honestly i'm nothing but an embarrassment to him. He expects me to be like Avelyn and one week after marriage suddenly be impregnated by his weak little seed. Honestly, he's grown so annoying that i'm considering bringing one of his bastard children to the attention of the kingdom."

Her small brown eyes widen in surprise.

"He has other children?" She asks in surprise wiping her hands on her large apron.

I nod with a frown.

"Because most of them are the children of servants he treats them that way, not even acknowledging the fact that they're his own. It's cruel. When I can I give each of the families enough coins to last them over ten fortnights. They deserve it. He works them to the bone."

Mary shakes her head and turns back to the carrot that she was chopping.

"I can not believe your father allowed you to wed a man like that, no matter his status."

I shrug.

"He can keep me safe. His palace is one of the most prosperous in this country. His gets along with all of his neighboring kingdoms and, in the eyes of the public, treats me like a queen." I shrug again. "Father is so proud to have a step-son like him."

"I wish you loved him though." Mary sighs as she chops a potato. " You deserve if anything, that much."

I sigh.

"Yes, well my happiness doesn't much matter in the eyes of anyone but you, Avelyn, and my deceased mother." I suddenly perk up. "Speaking of, how is my dearest cousin? Causing a heapful of mischief I bet!"

Mary shakes her head with a soft smile on her face.

"She's definitely been something with those mood swings. She's been craving some of the most preposterous of meals."

I shake my head with a giggle.

"Ahh maternity struggles. Anymore updates?"

"Two more. One, there is a new knight. He's quite handsome and i'm also quite sure that he is not compromised by marriage."

I raise my eyebrows.

"Why, I can't mind that information anymore you scandalous woman! You know that I am wed!" I say jokingly.

She laughs heartily.

"Oh, and there is a sick servant. I thought that you'd want to know about her."

I widen my eyes.

"Why of course I did! Where is she?"

"In the Servants quarters. I've already sent a young physician to check on her health, but I thought, knowing you, that you'd like to drop by."

I sigh.

"Has Avelyn been checking on the sick like I asked her to?"

Mary nods.

"She did, just as you asked. She'd bring soup or stew to them and water and even left some gold and silver coins when she could. She was forbid from doing it though once the king found out that she was with child."

I smile.

"My cousin has a good heart. Do you have any leftover stew or soup Mary?"

She nods and begins filling up a large bowl. She hands it to me and I nod my thanks and rush out of the kitchen and straight to the corridor leading to the servants quarters.

"Oh!" I gasp, surprised at the large figure standing over the petite girl lying on floor in the small room.

"Who would you happen to be?" I ask when the young man turns in surprise to me.

"My name is Ely-"

"Oh yes! You're the young physician. My name is Kristin." By habit I introduce myself and curtsy with the one hand I have available.

He watches me in surprise and stands still as I rush over to the young girl and quickly lower myself by her head, and proceed to put it on my lap. When I realize that she is awake my eyes widen.

"Oh...did I catch you two in a moment?" I ask curiously looking between the two of them.

The guy hurriedly shakes his head.

"N-no! I was just tending to her. I really must be out now." He begins rushing out but I hurriedly shake my head.

"No please, stay. You are the professional." I say smiling up at him.

"Who are you?" The girl asks softly as I attempt to position her head comfortably on my lap.

"I'm Kristin. Duchess Kristin." I smile softly down at her. "And you are?"

"Ah...yes. You lived here for a while after your mother passed. My name is Elizabeth. Just Elizabeth. I'm a servant."

I nod.

"Well you've been remarkably healthy, or else I would have met you earlier. Are you comfortable?"

She nods slightly, and I raise a spoonful of the green brothed soup into her mouth. She makes a little noise of pleasure.

"That is really...delicious." She says licking her lips.

I nod and smile.

"Yes, it was made for Avelyns morning ailment. All of the best ingredients of the land."

Her eyes widen.

"The queens soup...for me?" She asks in surprise.

I shrug.

"You're sick. If she was in my position, she'd do the same."

Elizabeth looks down.

"Excuse me, but why are you here Duchess? A woman of your power shouldn't be in the servants quarters."

I roll my eyes.

"I like to help. It doesn't matter who you are, you deserve to be tended to when you are sick. Speaking of, would you like one of the royal guest rooms? I could have it arranged."

Her eyes widen again.

"Really? That would be wonderful, but i'm not sure that I-"

"Nonsense!" I say cutting her off. "If you can, I know that you are weak, try finishing the soup. I'm going to search for a knight to help bring you to a guest room.

I gently lower her head back down to the ground.

"I'll be back soon."

I rush out of the servants quarters with determination. Most knights usually spend their free time in the courtyard so I shall-

I yelp loudly as i'm knocked down to the ground, by what feels like a stone wall.

"Oh! I do apologize Milady! Let me help you up!"

A handsome knight reaches down and grabs my hands and propels me up.

"It is no problem. I was rushing anyway..." My eyes trail off as I meet his gray eyes.

"I-I...um would you mind helping me with someone?" I stammer, caught off guard by his attractiveness.

He nods sternly.

"What ever it is that you need, I shall be of service."

I nod, not being able to look away from his face.

"Yes, can you carry a servant to a royal guest bedroom of my choice?"

Instead of looking at me strangely, like most would have, he smiles and nods.

"Yes, just show me where she is."

I begin leading the way but hesitantly ask whats been on my mind since meeting him.

"What is your name, sir?"

"Olivander. And your's malady?"

"Kristin. Just Kristin. I'm a...guest." I say with a bright smile.

Jane Elizabeth Wills | Medieval Times | Elizabeth Wills

I was shaken. My whole body struck cold as I hit the floor. Something was going through my head, it must have been fog. All I could see was little black dots cloud my vision as my heart stammered widely.

The nest thing I know, I'm in a new place. My eyes flutter open and I see a handsome man just above me, looking over my face. I caught my breath in my throat as I look at him.

"I'm Elyeam. I'll be here to fix you today." His voice was faint for a while. The way he said this made me feel both cared for and pitied for. The pity was stronger, it made me sick.

"Can you hear me?" he tried to catch my attention.

I murmured, "Hmm..."

I shut my eyes for a moment and feel like I should just go to sleep. My lids felt heavy as I coaxed myself to sleep.

His voice suddenly sprung out which made my eyes sputter open. "I'm going to rub some of this on your face now."

A sticky foundation hit my face as his fingers spread it around my forehead. It gave me instant relief as my temperature subsided. I couldn't believe something like that would actually help me feel better. He lifted me up to a sitting position once he was done putting it on and told me to drink lots of water.

I downed a glass as he got up. Placing the glass back down on the table, I realized I didn't want him to leave. Grabbing his wrist, he turned his head and his eyes caught mine. I couldn't breathe for a moment. To touch him made my fingers tingle.

He wouldn't love me, I'm just a silly servant.

"Please... stay." I manage to say.

He thinks for a moment, which makes my stomach churn. Then, he sits back down next to me. His eyes were an unbelievable shade of brown, I caught gold specks in them and I couldn't stop staring. For staring was a sin, so I pulled away, leaning against the pillow.

Heat surged through my body as I pushed back the covers on me. My limbs started to shake, and I felt uneasy. Some liquid was running up my throat. I needed to spit out whatever was coming. It felt like a huge boulder climbing down my tongue. In a second, the doctor put a bucket in front of me and I threw up the contents that escaped my mouth.

Once everything was out, I felt a huge relief and exhaustion. I lied back down and shut my eyes.

"Oh!" someone said.

Lifting my eyelids, I saw a beautiful woman. She had these sapphire eyes and wore a grand creme colored dress. She looked elegant and reminded me of Queen Avelyn. Oh, she was the Duchess!

Her and the doctor spoke some bit before she focused some attention on me. She gave me a soup and I scooped it into my mouth, indulging in the taste. I'm sure I just made this soup before I got sick. She wanted my name and I gave it to her, Elizabeth.

After a few moments, she left. I gave my finished bowl to Elyeam. He gladly took it and placed it next to us on the table.

"Art thou, Elyeam of Lopez?" I managed to ask, my curiosity springing.

He was caught by surprise by my sudden speaking, but he managed to put on a nice smile and nod in reply.

"You should not speak for a while, it is for the better." he said.

I nodded and looked behind him, seeing one of the knights, Olivander walk in with Kristin, the Duchess. He looked over at us and said some words to Kristin. Then, he walked to my bedside.

"Elyeam of Lopez, I will take her to a guest room." Olivander said with his rough accent.

Elyeam stood up and let him pick me up in one smooth movement. The next thing I knew, I was taken to a grand room.
