"So...she's seriously preggers?" Ashton asks me, his tone laced with surprise.

"Yep...my V has got a bun in the oven." I say with a smile, tipping back my bottle of beer.

Ashton and I decided to go to a pub down the road from his town house after the girls left.

"Something told me that she was extra glow-y and exuberant... but holy hell...i'm gonna be an uncle!" He says excitedly.

"Well actually," I say taking another sip. "Legal guardian. We're putting you down as our childs godfather."

"Still pretty awesome though." Ashton says beaming.

"I just can't believe that i'm gonna be a dad." I say quietly. "I don't even know how to go about it. I never had a father in my life. Not even a father figure. Or well...not until I met Averys father. I don't even know what i'm doing."

Ashton claps a hand on my back.

"Calm down. You'll be fine. Something tells me that any child you raise will come up to be amazing." Ashton says with a warm smile.

I meet his smile with my own.

"I really hope so."

"How does it feel to be back home though?" Ashton asks, trying to change the subject.

I shrug.

"The same. I mean...nothing here has really changed. I used to come here all the time. To this pub I mean. But it feels like I should be looking at things differently ya know? I mean everything's changed. I'm getting married, I have a wonderful, amazing, beautiful fiance, I'm gonna be a dad...and I have a whole new wonderful family. It just feels like something bad is...just bound to happen. Don't ask me why or how. I've just got a really bad feeling in the pit of my stomach. And being here...just makes it worse." I say shrugging.

"I know what you mean." Ashton says quietly. "I can't help...but think that something bad is gonna happen soon."

We sit in silence for awhile after that.

It's about three in the morning when Avery gets home. She strips down until she's naked and climbs into bed beside me.

"I can't hear Kristins drunk giggle. Has she already passed out?" I ask jokingly as Avery nestles herself into my chest.

"I lost her at the club. She called me though. Before I got too panicked. Yet, all she told me was that there was something she had to handle."

"Is she alright?" I ask worriedly.

Avery nods.

"Yeah. I can usually tell by her voice how she's feeling. She sounded okay. If not, a little nervous. We did make some new friends though." She says, her voice beginning to get sleepy.

"Oh yeah?" I ask, wrapping an arm around her waist and spooning her.

"Yeah. Two really really pretty girls. Ones name is Anabella," I stop breathing. I know that girl. I know her. Fuck fuck fu-" And the other ones name is Celise. She was so beautiful." Fuck.

"I dated her." I say quietly.

"Really?" She asks holding my hand gently. "She seemed like your type. Really model-esque and perfect looking. Skinny. Long black hair. Eyes you can stare at for-"

"Your my type." I say running my fingertips up and down her midriff until she shivers. "My one and only type. I will never find anyone as amazing as you."

She's silent now. After a few minutes i'm sure that she's asleep.

"Thank you. I really needed to hear that." She whispers, surprising me.

And then her breathing grows deeper until she's softly snoring.

I sigh to myself. Avery is the type of person who loves to hang out with new friends. Who loves bringing them around, letting them spend the night, the whole nine. But she can't do that with Celise. Celise was the main reason why I left France. She was always the one who got away for me.

I can picture those golden-hazel eyes now. That silky black hair. That smooth porcelain skin. It's all too much for me. Me and her had dreams of marrying. Although Alosha probably wouldn't even remember, we both attended the same highschool. Only we were both in different social groups. It was always me and, and her with the other popular kids. But Celise didn't care about status. Or well not too much. She hung out with me almost every other day, and we'd talk for hours, and cook, and bond. And I remember the day that we had such passionate sex. The day of our highschool graduation. And then we were a couple. For my two years of college things were going great until her father passed away and she grew more distant. At some point she just stopped coming to me all together. And that's when I left for America.

It was Cal's birthday.

I woke up early, and baked her a cake.

Waking Conner, Ruby, and Sylvia up, I had them sign a card I'd made for Cal, and had them follow me to the room the girls shared to wake her up.

"On three?" Conner asked quietly, holding the envelope contained the card.

I nodded, and listened as Ruby counted quietly.

"...one, two...three!"

Sylvia and Ruby jumped onto Cal's bed, yelling, "Get up!" And, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"

Cal groaned, and rubbed her face slowly, not realizing what was going on.

I grinned at her. "Happy Birthday, Cal!"

Her eyes widened slightly, and a huge smile formed on her face.

Conner went to the kitchen, and got the lighter.

Cal sat up, and I set the cake, which was on a big plate, on her lap, and lit nine candles.

We sang to her, and watched as she blew out the candles.

"What did you wish for?" Ruby asked, sitting next to Cal on her bed.

She smiled, and tilted her head, "If I tell you, it won't come true."

"Oh, Conner." I whispered, nudging him.

He made an 'O' shape with his mouth, and smiled, grabbing the card from the girls dresser.

I took it in my hand, and set it on her lap.

"What's this?" Cal asked, arching one of her eyebrows as she picked it up.

"Just...a little something from all of us." Sylvia told her, sitting on the edge of her bed.

Cal opened the card slowly, carefully, and pulled out the card.

Once she opened it, the first thing she noticed was the money pinned to the top of the card.

"...you guys!" She exclaimed, reading the card.

I picked up the cake, and headed to the kitchen, as the others followed me.

"We thought you'd want to go to the store, get some new things." I said to her, cutting the cake, and placing pieces on plates.

We all ate cake, talked, laughed, all that good stuff, then got dressed, and walked around town.

Cal, Conner, Ruby, Sylvia, and I went to Starbucks, and we each got hot chocolates.

Afterwards, we went browsing through stores, occasionally buying things.

"Arls? Can we go get something to eat?" Ruby asked, tugging at my arm as we walked through a clothing store.

I nodded. Halana had given me money to take the kids out, anyways. She was stuck in another town, doing business.

"Where do you guys wanna go?" I asked them, as we walked back outside, and onto the sidewalk.

"Whats that?" Avery asks in the morning, walking down in only a large shirt and her underwear.

I hardly even notice it.

"Pictures of me and Jasmine..." I whisper to myself as I read the article.

Avery frowns and comes beside and then gasps at the laptops screen.

"Well shit..." She whispers also reading the screen. "Is this bad?"

"Honestly, not really. Atleast not for me. My career is fine and already established enough to the point where it doesn't matter if i'm the cheating playboy, or the lonely guy in the corner, my fans will always love me. I'm just...i'm worried for Jasmine." I finish quietly.

Avery takes a seat in a bean bag hair in front of me.

"Oh you are...?" Avery says with a growing smile.

I sigh.

"Oh stop being so immature. I'm allowed to be worried for a friend, aren't I?" I ask rolling my eyes.

She shrugs and slowly leans back in her chair, her smile growing.

"Since when has she only been your friend though Ashty?"

"Since...um...since..." I think on it and Avery laughs.

"You and I have very different types of relationships Ashton. The guys I usually end up in relationships with are guys that I could previously never see myself with. Will? Holy shit, I thought that he was the biggest spaz when we were both best friends. Not by looks I mean. But his dorky nature was what drew me to him I guess. Leo...well I was always inherently attracted to him. But for awhile I lied to myself, making it seem as if I was imagining the feelings."

"You didn't say that in bed." Leo says as he comes down the stairs.

Avery turns to him and gives him the finger with a cheeky smile and then turns back to me.

"You're the type of guy that only feels attraction for your girl. You may become friends with her later in the relationship, but until then, all of your feelings towards said girl are only based on looks, brains, and the characteristics that your sure will go with yours."

"I know that you're right. But any of what you've said hasn't stopped me from worrying about her. Jasmine...she didn't want any of this. And I just feel like a dipshit for kissing her that night. Me and Bradley? That's a relationship that people could see coming. But this..." I run a hand through my hair.

Suddenly Avery looks inspired but then her face falls.

"What?" I ask quietly.

She shrugs and looks up at me, almost apologetically.

"Well you want to help Jas, right?" She asks, almost cautiously.

I nod my head slowly and she sighs.

"Maybe if you go to a gossip magazine and tell them that it's bullshit, then you'll be helping her."

"Well how will they know that i'm not just trying to cover for her?" I ask, not really getting what she's saying.

"Well-"

"Hey guys! I'm hoooome!" Kristin says with a bright smile.

Avery raises an eyebrow at me and then I get where she's going.

----------------

"So...you're not dating Bradley?" The french interviewer asks.

I shake my head.

"Nope. This is my girlfriend. The beautiful Kristin Piest." I say, putting a hand around her waist.

"Oh but what about-"

"You know, no one even bothered to ask me. I mean, I am the guy supposed to be in the relationship right?"

"Well yes... but friends and family-"

"Don't know what they're talking about." I say cutting her off. "Bradley is a close friend of mine. And that girl I kissed...well it was New Years! We were at a club, and Kristin and I weren't even official yet. It's taken awhile but, Kristin is finally ready to be public with me."

"So can you tell us a little bit about yourself...Kristin?"

Kristin smiles and blushes a little. Hell, she's a better actress than I thought.

"Well i'm natively from Germany, and have attended a bit of school over in the U.S. where I just happened to meet Ashton. Because he's coworkers and very close friends with my cousin, Avery Piest, I saw him a lot while there. And we just clicked, ya know?" She smiles brightly at the camera.

"I must say that you really are beautiful Kristin. Do you model at all?" The woman asks curiously.

"Well I was thinking of taking up an offer for a Vogue shoot that my future mother in law offered for me. But i'm not quite sure that i'd like the attention. I'm more of an introvert if anything." Kristin says with a small smile, her cheeks growing pink.

My mind flashes back to her dancing on the bar at a club in New York. Introvert my ass.

"I see...so that's why you didn't want to come out about the relationship.I'm so glad that you two are happy together. Well it was so nice seeing you both. It was very nice meeting you Kristin. We'll call you if we need anything else Ashton. But this footage is great. You'll probably see it on television later tonight."

"Thanks Clara. I'm glad that we were able to clear things up."

As soon as Kristin and I exit the building we both sigh.

"Are you sure that, that was okay?" I ask her worriedly.

She shrugs.

"Oliver and I are broken up anyways. And you and I aren't even really dating. So it's quite fine with me."

"I really appreciate this Kris." I say, holding her hand as we walk down the road.

Her blue eyes sparkle as she looks up at me, and her blond hair floats a little in the breeze.

"Anything for a friend, Ash." She says with a small smile.

So many thoughts ran through my head. Gossip ran deep and quick. And I couldn't help but see the Facebook comments flying onto my wall. People recognized me, that's for sure. And I didn't know how to explain myself.

How would I walk as Jasmine down the street without getting hauled by someone? I'm already scared by being Bradley in public, but now Jasmine? Should I create a third identity, a ginger? Just imagine me going out here and all the paparazzi crowding over me, asking if Ashton and I are a thing and if Bradley knows.

Of course she does. She's me. It's like I'm getting cheated on by myself even though I'm not even dating him.

I threw on my hood and walked down the streets of Paris. My purse was slung over my shoulder, and my phone was in my pocket. The wind blew around me, surprising me by it's warmth. Even though it's freezing in America, it's warm here. Not even a drop of snow on the ground. People walked past me, not recognizing me. Thank God.

The mission for today was going to the store and meeting up with my friends. Well, and finding Aston. I walked into the local Carrefour and hoped in, sliding my hood down. I walked past the magazine racks and saw my picture on almost every teen magazine cover. I caught my breath and tried to put my hood back on, then I remembered that it is uncultural to do that. Shoot. I walked passed it, trying to find the aisle I was meaning to go to. Then, a girl stopped me.

She was small, short, and looked to be twelve. A magazine was in her hands, the one I just saw on the racks.

No, fuck no.

"Oh mon Dieu. Salut, mon nom est Jeanine. Je suis un grand grand grand fan de Ashton. Je ne peux pas croire que tu sortir avec lui quand il sort avec Bradley! Vous êtes si méchant! Mais, pour être honnête, j'ai toujours cru Bradley n'était pas bon assez pour lui..." she said, barely catching her breath.

She said: "Oh my God. Hi, my name is Jeanine. I am a huge huge huge fan of Ashton. I can't believe you're dating him when he's dating Bradley! You are so mean! But, to be honest, I always believed Bradley wasn't good enough for him...."

I shook my head, barely letting her words sink into my skull. She started to laugh and went on. Somehow, I felt hurt when she said she wasn't good enough for him. She's a good woman. Well, people have opinions. I am good enough for him.

"I mean, she had him and... she ruined it. You deserve him, he deserves a normal girl, it will be better than dating another celebrity. Um, can I have your autograph, Jasmine?" I translated for y'all. She was ecstatic, her eyes were literally glowing.

But my jaw dropped. She freaking new my name. This is bad, oh so bad.

"Um, listen. I'm not this girl..." I tried, but she cut me off.

"Of course you are! Jasmine!"

I took a deep breath and took the magazine from her hand, putting it to my face. "I don't even look like her. And I don't know an Ashton. So, I'm sorry."

She ripped the magazine from my hands and gave me a frown, making me feel bad.

"Whatever," she huffed under her breath, and walked away.

Luckily, I had Ashton's European number. So I flipped through my phonebook on my iPhone and found it, ringing him.

"Ashton. Don't speak yet. I have to tell you something. And I know, you don't want to talk to me, but... I have to talk to you. Meet me." I said in a hurry once he answered.

"So what exactly do I say if someone gets a hold of pictures with me and Oli?" Kristin asks at a café that we walked to a few hours after the interview.

"You didn't want the notoriety that came with dating me, so you tried to run from it by dating the twin of Harry Styles-"

"He looks nothing like Harry!"" She exclaims.

"But you couldn't because by then you were already in love with me." I say with a smile.

She rolls her eyes.

"Whatever."

The little bell to the coffee shop jingles and a figure walks to our small table.

"Ah your finally here. Have a seat." I say gesturing to the extra chair. She sits. "So what was so important that you had to come all the way to Paris?"

"I...I have a show here. Or well Bradley does. And I have to tell you that-"

"Our picture is all over magazines and websites? "

"Um yeah I-" I cut her off again.

"Don't worry Jasmine. I had it all cleared up today. I didn't want...to have to suffer because of me. Now I have to go. I promised Kristin I'd give her my opinion as she tried on pleated dresses in Chanel. We were just going. Oh...and by the way...watch E tonight. That'll show you how I cleared it up. And again...i'm sorry."

I grab Kristins arm and pull her out of her seat and quickly walk out.

"You really like her." Kristin comments when we're a few blocks away.

"I just...I didn't think I'd see her." I say quietly as we walk hand in hand.

"What do you think she'll do when she finds out?" Kristin asks.

I shrug.

"All I know is that she just has to know that I did it for her. That's all."

Talk about meeting a stranger and, there's, um, no danger involved. Sometime 'stranger danger' is bullshit. Especially if it's a random hot dude that knocks at your window named Chandler.

He took me away to surprising places. One happened to be a rooftop in central New York. He claimed to know the owner and that's how he got the key to even get inside at two in the morning. I called that bullshit and he just laughed.

There was a beautiful view of the city from up here. All the lights jumped around us as the city signalled it was still alive during this time of night. Only a few cars rushed by, most of the people were on foot or taxi. Everyone looked like little ants from this height. And the cars, they reminded me of Hot Wheels.

"Wow, it looks so... wicked." I smiled, sitting on the roof, overlooking to city.

Chandler sat down next to me, running his hand through his shaggy brown hair. I looked over at him, feeling a weight drop from my shoulders. This is the first time I thought about nothing. My mind was blank and I was happy.

"I thought you'd like it." he smiled back.

I liked his smile. It was small and soft but very sincere. I didn't see those a lot, and it matched him.

"How would you know? You've never met me." I said.

He looked back at the city, taking a deep breath. Scooting closer to him, I managed to get close enough that it made him a little nervous. I could tell by his fidgeting.

"I actually have, Jane." then, he turned to me. "You don't remember me?"

I started to think, 'where did I see this face before?' and I came up with nothing.

"Okay, I'm kidding. My friend just told me a lot about you."

Searching his face, I tried to find something sketchy. I mean, he didn't try to have sex with me... yet. And he seemed to just want to keep me company.

"Who's this friend?" I asked.

He smiled again, his hazel eyes smiling as well. I could see the happiness on his face. Jeez, he was a good kid. Like, I could see that he didn't do anything bad in his life. Or maybe he's that good at hiding it.

"It's Oliver Hemingway," he replied.

My heart lifted at his name. I never knew how much I missed him until now. He's my best friend and he was gone. Well, he was in England. And he did one last thing for me, he made me take an adventure with a random guy. Something I have wanted to do. Go on an adventure with a guy just because. He knew me too well.

Suddenly, I felt something warm wrap around my hand. I looked down and saw Chandler have his hand around mine.

"You miss him?" he asked.

I just looked at our hands laced together and nodded, feeling tears group up behind my eyes. I thought this would be forget about everything and live, it's really remember everything and die. Well, not die... but it feels like dying. I just remember Emmett's smiling face. He won't smile like that to me ever again.

"Don't worry Jane, he will remember you again." I heard the pity in his voice which made me cheeks heat up.

Pulling my hand away from his, I felt a sudden anger fill my body. I looked at him, giving him a stern look which I saw made his face get all confused and scared.

"Don't pity me. I hate pity." I said steadily.

He shut his mouth, just noticing it was open, and looked down at the floor beneath us. Somehow, I felt a little bad for what I said.

"I apologize," he paused. "I just want you to be stress free as we hang. You have to speak it all out before we do anything, because then you'll really forget, not just sort of forget." he then looked back at me, our eyes finding each other.

Swallowing hard, I surprised myself by pulling him into a hug. His warm body bounced against mine as he wrapped his arms around me. I shut my eyes, leaning my head against his shoulder. I felt him run his hands down my back and his breath fall through my hair. It felt right. Then, he pulled away and put his hands on my shoulders, focusing his eyes on my face. I took him in. He had a five-o'clock-shave, which was really working for him. A hard jaw, chin, and a soft look to his face. I loved his eyes the most, hazel, small, and honest. He sort of reminded me of Matt Smith, but much hotter. Like, much much much hotter. The shaggy hair shaped his face, which, if I wasn't in love with Emmett, I would make-out with him for. But, it's not like I wanted to.

"Jane, let's go for some adventure, huh?" he smirked, helping me stand up.

***

I woke up with a smile on my face and only memories left in my mind. The clock next to me read 13:15 which is 1:15 PM. He dropped me off at home around five in the morning, so I needed the sleep, and so did he. We did so much, I thought it was only a dream. But it wasn't, thanks Oliver.

The first thing I did was call Emmett and tell him my adventure. He deserves to hear such a crazy story.

We went through New York. To the beach. We also bought the most random things in supermarkets that were open, wearing and eating and whatever with what we bought. We swam in a pool that we broke into. Chased by drunk teenagers for stealing their booze. And we also drove around, simply talked. I got to know a lot about him. And it was nice. Lastly, we snuck into a movie theater and watched a movie for free. There was a screening still going, so we got into that one.

I thought better of it and didn't call Emmett. I hung up after the first ring and left Oliver a nice Facebook message instead.

When I got up, the first thing I did was go and clean my car. It was a freaking mess, and trust me, it would take all day. My uncle left me alone as I stuffed my car into the garage, getting it ready for a good scrubbing. He made the garage so it would be compatible for cleaning cars in the winter.

I got started and listened to some rock as I went on.

Once I finished, I took a shower and chowed down on something. Next, I had to do something for the rest of the day. It was already the afternoon and I thought of one thing. I did a good thing. I stopped by Harley's foster home and visited her family. A surprise.

I wanted to tell him that they figured out the name of the mystery girl, that it was me, Jasmine. But he didn't give me enough time to even breathe. He just spoke, and left. Dragging Kristin behind him. It's like he hated me and didn't even give me the time of day. It made me sick. I actually vomited in the bathroom.

Once I got out of the cafe, I shook. My mind was lost and I looked like one of those hopelessly rejected bitches. But, in France. Actually, that worked. Girls believed the Paris would be love, but most of them get rejected here... so most girls look like me.

Sighing, I didn't know what to do. So I got back to my hotel room, dressed as Bradley, and called my agent. He assigned me a small meet and greet at a local restaurant. I happened to be that bored. And I wanted to run my mind elsewhere. Especially if I wanted to doge watching the E!. By the way Ashton said to watch it, I knew I shouldn't.

The restaurant I stopped at was Sous le toit. it was very homey. The place had soft, brown colors. The furniture was sort of rustic as if a farmer built it himself, and I adored that. I sat down on one of the outside tables with photos on the table next to my hand, and a Sharpie in another. A line was already clamoring in front of me. A lot of the people were aged from kids with adults to teens.

"Bonjour, Madame Bradley!" The first group of teens said.

I smiled back at them, taking their photos into my hands. I sighed it with a heart and a small note from me.

"It's great to meet such beautiful girls." I said in French.

They took the photos and waved, walking away. It took me around two hours to finish talking to everyone. I was exhausted and found a way to still meet up with some of my friends. Most of them traveled here cause they heard I'd be having a concert in a few days, so they wanted to join me. I met them at one of their hotel rooms. Actually, suite. They decided to throw a party and all of the celebrities they knew were invited. I heard Ashton and his people were invited too. I wasn't excited.

At least I was Bradley and everyone knew me. So, I wasn't bored. And I was distracted.

After we'd eaten, I took them home.

Halana was waiting, saying she had a surprise.

She never had surprises. So I had no idea what she was up to.

As we walked up to the house, we noticed a car. Not Halana's.

We got closer, and I realized it wasn't a car. It was a pick-up.

Who's here?

Ruby slipped her hand into mine, and looked up at me. "Who is there?"

I shrugged. "No idea. But I guess we're about to find out."

Cal had bought some new clothes, and was carrying them in bags. I took the bags from her, and she opened the front door.

I heard Halana squeal excitedly, and a guy laugh.

Did she have a guy friend over?

I rubbed my nose with my free hand, still having a bit of a cold, and had the kids go say hi to Halana.

Taking the bags to Cal's room, I set them down, and joined the others in the living room.

It was then that I noticed that Halana didn't have company. I did.

"Will?" I said, not even trying to hide the surprise out of my voice.

There were children everywhere. It sort of terrified me. I was never good with children. Well, I could speak with them, play with them... I just don't like them. There we go. I'm good with them, just don't like them. What did I get myself into? I must really like this girl.

Her 'mother' Halana seems really nice. She let me in with ease and spoke the whole time, taking the awkwardness out. She even served me tea and got to know me. Harley supposedly mentioned me a few times, so she was very excited to finally meet this famous Will. And here I was.

"Hey," I smiled at Harley.

She word a dumbfound look on her face as she walked up to me. I opened up my arms for her so she could hug me. She took it, wrapping her arms around my body. Her head reached up to my chest, so I wouldn't be surprised if she heart my heart racing. I squeezed her, then let her go.

"What are you doing here?" she asked once she pulled away.

"I wanted to see you." I replied.

"Oh, Harley. Why don't you ask Will to stay for dinner?" Halana suggested.

I waggled my eyebrows at Harley which made her stifle a laugh. Turning my head, I looked at Halana and smiled.

"I can stay if you want me to," I said.

"Of course!" and she rushed into the kitchen.

Looking back at Harley, she was shifting her weight uncomfortably from one foot to the other, not even looking at me. I felt that something was off with her, but she wouldn't say. The kids started to run around the house, than landed by Harley, looking at me curiously.

"Harley," One of them whispered to her.

She bent down to their level with a smile on her face. "What, Cal?"

"Who is he?"

She looked back at me then back at the kid. "He's Will, my friend."

There was something wrong. Maybe I shouldn't have even come. She feels uncomfortable with this whole idea.

"Oh, Harley. Why don't you ask Will to stay for dinner?" Halana suggested, glancing over at me.

I looked over at Will, and he wiggled his eyebrows at me, which made me laugh a bit.

He turned his head, and smiled at Halana. "I can stay if you want me to."

"Of course!" Halana might have been a little too excited.

She took off into the kitchen.

I think maybe this wasn't the right thing to do. I meet a guy at a store. Er, a cute guy, and he takes me out for coffee. We go on a date. He kisses me. Now he's met my family. I realized my leg was going numb, and shifted my weight to my other leg. Running my hands through my hair, I shook my head.

What does he see in me?

Ruby and Callie started playing tag, but paused next to me, staring at Will curiously.

"Harley?" Cal asked quietly.

I crouched down next to her, and plastered a smile onto my face. "What is it, Cal?"

She looked over at him. "Who is he?"

I looked at William, then back at Cal. "He's will, my friend."

Sylvia came in, a huge grin on her face. "So this is the boy?"

I nodded, and stood up straight. "Why don't you guys go play in your room? I'll come get you when dinner's ready."

The girls scampered off, and I was left in the room with William.

"Are you okay? I mean...if you don't want me to be here-"

I cut him off. "That's not it. At all. I just.."

He tilted his head, still looking at me.

"I just don't understand completely." I finished.

A frown covered his face, indicating he didn't understand what I meant.

"I'm an orphan. Never had any friends. Er, real friends. And you...you're some guy that probably knows a lot of people and gets all the pretty girls. I just don't understand why you want to spend your time...with a nobody like me. I keep telling myself that you're using me. Or you're just playing me. Or, I don't know..." I sat down, rubbing my eyes.

"I want to know what you see in me.." I told him.

Looking up at William, I searched his face.

Kristin

That night I spent with Oliver was amazing. It held all of the passion that I had been holding in since the last time I've seen him. But...I know that it was a goodbye. Thats what kills me the most. Thats what had me crying after we finished. I can't be friends with him. Hell, I couldn't even be acquaintances with him. I love him too much for that.

The only thing keeping me from crying at this exact moment is the distraction of having to be Ashtons girlfriend. It's hilarious to say the least. For example when we went to a popular dessert shop, and I ordered a cupcake. He said that he wanted a bite but when I told him to go fuck himself, he smashed it in my face as I tried to take a bite. And then he took a stupid selfie on his phone of him licking some of the icing off of my nose.

"So what shall we do today, boyfriend?" I ask, as he studies his lines for his script.

"Well I'll be shooting today, but if you want you can join me there. The coverage will be pretty great...actually more than great. If you come to shooting everyone around the world will know that we're a thing."

"Why?" I ask curiously.

"We'll be shooting our trailer and behind the scenes to post to the movies website, imdb, all of the actors' websites, and youtube. A lot of people are looking forward to this movie Kris. If all of those people watch the behind the scenes video, everyone will know that we're together."

"And when do you think that we should end this charade?" I ask, placing my legs on his lap.

He shrugs and continues studying his lines.

"I suggest when people are so in love with our relationship that it would literally kill them inside to know that we're no longer together."

"That seems a bit dramatic..." He shrugs again, and then gets up.

"Lets get going. I don’t wanna be late. We can get a crepe on the way if we leave now." He says offering me a hand.

I accept it and smile.

"Then away we go."
-----------

"I truly don't know what it is about Kristin." Ashton says looking at me intently as I merrily munch on my crepe and comfortably sit on his lap. "She just has something special about her, ya know."

I giggle and the camera turns to me.

"I think that he's referring to my bedroom skills." I say putting a hand over my mouth and winking.

He rolls his eyes and pokes me in the cheek. I peck my lips on his and smile widely directly into the camera.

"Honestly I couldn't be happier!" I say putting an arm around his neck.

The camera holds up a hand and the red light flashes off.

"Mmkay, you guys were adorable. Now I just need to cover Avery Piest and her fiance and then we're all done for the day."

"And that will be posted on YouTube...?" Ashton asks

"In about three hours. We just have to edit a bit, and then the behind the scenes for "Into the depths of deception." Will be up for the world to see. The couples segment will be perfect. Have a nice day, you two." The camera guy and producer or director or whoever he is both wave off.

"So with that E! interview and now that behind the scenes thing everyone should know about us, right?" I ask, swinging my legs while continuing to sit on his lap.

He sighs.

"Seems that way. Are you up for going for a drink tonight? I feel as if I'm on the verge of a mental breakdown." He says running a hand through his hair.

I shrug.

"Fine with me. Where exactly would you like to go?"

"Just anywhere serving drinks. Would you mind sitting her for a little longer. You're really warm, and these sons of bitches haven't bothered turning on the heat."

I shrug again and from there we just talk.

"Lee...I think that somethings wrong." I whisper as I feel a fierce pain in my stomach.

"Hmm? What are you talking about V?" Leo mumbles tiredly.

"Leo my stomach hurts. Whats going on?" I ask, my voice growing panicky and the pain growing worse by the second.

"Huh- hold on. Let me turn on the light."

When he switches on the light I pull myself up into a sitting position. When he pulls the covers down to my knees he gasps softly and hurriedly gets up. I'm to scared to look down.

"Whats going on? Leo? Whats going on?" I ask, my voice growing louder by the second.

"I'm calling the hospital. Hold on." He says dialing quickly. I gasp in short, panicked breaths.

"Okay babe. They're on their way. Hold on its alright."

When I finally look down, all of the sheets, my nightshirt, the duvet, everything is covered in blood. And I scream, and scream, and scream, and-

"V?!" Leo asks loudly waking me from my sleep.

I look up at him, and he stares down at me worriedly.

"Whats wrong, love?"

I don't answer him, but I pull the large duvet covering us both, up. Under it the sheets are white, and my large night shirt is still the light blue it was when I went to sleep. My breathing is harsh and labored but slows down after making sure that everything is right.

"Avery. What's wrong?" Leo asks me, grabbing my hand.

I shake my head and sigh. I squeeze his hand and look up at his aqua eyes.

"I had a really bad nightmare." I whisper, looking down.

He puts a hand on my shoulder and moves me closer to him. I slowly lay my head down on his chest and sigh.

"Was it of something bad happening to the baby?" He asks quietly, soothingly running his hand through my unruly curly hair.

I nod and he sighs. He pulls down the blanket and pulls up my nightshirt. He proceeds to put a hand on the tiny bulge on my slim belly runs circles on it.

"This is pretty strange. You're only three months in and beginning to show signs? Hmm...maybe we should run by the OB/GYN." Leo says continuing his circular massage.

"What do you think it is?" I ask quietly, placing my hand on top of his.

"I have no idea. All I know is that it'll come out beautiful like its mother."

I blush and roll my eyes. Suddenly we both jump as the front door slams downstairs.

"Do you think that Ash has bought breakfast?" I ask, suddenly starving.

Leo shrugs.

"If not i'll make you your favorite in bed."

I smile brightly and kiss him quickly on the lips.

"Go and check. I'll find something good for us to watch on t.v."

When he's up and out I switch on the television. Honestly, i'm so glad that I paid that extra money to have it all translated. I understand french fluently, but sometimes it gets annoying having to switch from one language to another. I stop when I see a clip of Ashton and Kristin on TMZ.

"Honestly, i couldn't be happier." She says, putting an arm around his neck and looking straight into the camera, her blue eyes sparkling with real happiness.

For the next twenty minutes its just going over Ashtons dating history. From his highscool sweetheart, Kendal, to me playing as his wife on our show. And then the brief period where everyone was sure that he and Bradley were dating, and then to his and Jasmines kiss at the club. And then to pictures of him and Kristin, smiling and laughing, and one really cute one where he's licking some icing off of her nose. And then it goes into a clip of the E! interview where they first "came out" as a couple.

"Honestly this one was our bad. We really thought that there was something going on between Bradley and Ashton. Our mistake. You can check out the rest on our website, with more pictures of the adorable Kashtin!"

Kashtin. Thats kinda cute. Although I do kind of wonder how Oliver and Jasmine must be taking this. Something tells me that they either don't care, or are extremely jealous, or mad, or something. Eh, it's a toss up.

"Turns out that it was just him and Kristin coming in from a night of drunkeness. They stayed in a hotel over night, I guess." Leo shrugs and then places the tray on my lap. "A breakfast only for my queen. Today I serve you scrambled eggs, made with truffle oil, with sautéed onions on top. Then we have some authentic french baguette, lightly toasted with only a small dab of butter. Not to mention the cubed fruit, and the flute of Dom Perignon Rose 2002. Oh and one more thing-" he bends down and plants a soft kiss on my lips " A breakfast only suited for my queen." He says again with a smile.

"Mmm. This tastes delish!" I say after swallowing a bite.

"Only the best for mon trésor." He says in his native french accent and climbs into bed beside me.

"I love you ya know." I say, smiling at him as I chew on another mouthful.

"And I, you, beautiful." He says running a hand through my hair and then picking up the remote.

"Lets get married." I say after swallowing another bite.

He chuckles and continues flipping through channels.

"We're already going to get married, babe."

"No, I mean like next month. I'm ready." I say, seriously.

He turns his head to face me, and his smile falls when he sees that i'm serious.

"Really? Are you sure?" He asks, his voice dropping down to a whisper.

I nod and smile brightly at him.

"Yeah. I want to get married to you Lee. More than anything ever in the world. And why wait? What's there to wait for?"

He begins beaming and hops off of the bed and walks over to my side. He then drops down to one knee and takes my left hand in both of his.

"Avery Piest..." He says, smiling brightly in his boxer underwear and messy hair. "Will you marry me next month?"

I roll my eyes.

"Of course I will! Now...call Ashton. I wanna start getting this show on the road!"

He quickly begins walking to the door.

"Wait!" He stops. "Not before a foot rub and a shower." He smiles and goes to the foot of the bed to begin getting to work.

William Franco

"Does it matter why I like you? Seriously, Harley..." I paused for a moment. "Did you really think I would use you?!" I couldn't help but give her a bewildered stare.

She looked down at the floor. I could see all the color grow on her face from embarrassment.

"I am not using you..." I said a bit more quietly. "The first time I saw you I really wanted to get to know you, you can't blame me for liking you after I got to know you."

"So, you really like me?" She looked up at me, all the hope in her eyes.

Taking her hands in mine, I squeezed them and smiled. She then smiled in return and as she did, I forgot about the whole world other than us. My heart was racing, she is the only girl that made me feel this way. I forgot all about Avery, Jane... All I thought about was Harley.

"Harley, I kissed you. I took you to that spot on the beach. You take a guess." Is aid.

"But I wanna hear you say it." She said almost at a whisper.

"I like you, Harley."

And that when she smiled so wide, I couldn't believe one person could be so happy. I pulled her into a tight hug, feeling great about having her at my side. I may barley know her, but I know she's been living a complicated life, and I still want to be with her. I can be her shoulder that she definitely needs.

"Kids! Dinner!" Halana called.

Harley pulled away and tugged my hand to the dining room.

I was pretty relieved.

But also embarrassed.

Grinning, I took Will's hand, and led him to the Dining Room. The kids came running in a few seconds after we'd sat down.

"Arls! Halana wants you to go make plates." Sylvia told me, once she was at the table.

I nodded, and looked up at Will, who smiled, and squeezed my hand.

Standing up, I went to the kitchen, and pulled out the plates from the cabinet.

"I need you to wash some silver ware, too, Harley." Halana said once I walked in.

"I put a load in the dishwasher earlier." Putting the plates on the counter, I opened the dishwasher, and pulled out 7 forks. "You eating with us?"

She shook her head. "There's a new couple looking to adopt. I ate earlier. I'm about to go call them."

Exhaling, I put one of the forks back, and started making plates. "See you tomorrow?"

"Maybe." She said, and walked out.

After everyone had gotten their plates, I'd sat back down next to Will.

He was looking at my foster siblings, with a curious look.

They were making faces at him.

I giggled, and adjusted my shirt. "You guys. Eat."

Noticing he looked over at me, I turned my head, and smiled.
