Welcome to Camp Half-Blood: DT

How about we insert a basic, Rick Riordan-style release the captured god side-story. Maybe we could link it up with Chiron's "disappearance", Lexi's dreams, Lucas and Juliet's arrival, Gemini's attack on Long Island and a lot of characters (including mine) doing nothing.
When I was at school, I thought of a plot that would involve multiple gods being captured by the Juggernauts and the camp sending out several teams to rescue them. I was thinking that maybe JD and two campers would attempt to rescue Deimos, god of terror and brother of JD, and the other campers would do something similar... and we could add Mr. D doing something unreasonable -at this point, the only explanation I could give is because Juggernauts or because Juliet's arrival, or both- like starting another game of CTF even though a lot of the campers are still injured... just a couple of ideas I had... don't blame me man, blame ADHD.

I gotta say no to the Juggernauts capturing the Gods, none of them will hesitate in killing there godly parent. Plus most gods are to scared to leave Olympus because the Juggernauts are pretty much like Tigers waiting for a chance to kill them, the gods that do leave Olympus are likely allied with the Juggernauts.

Hm, I think I'm going to have to drop out as well, which makes me seem like a hypocrite because I tried to keep my godly brother in the SB.
It's not that I lost interest, it's just I dont really have time for the SB anymore and I really haven't found time to keep up with it. That and this whole juggernaut thing is ridiculously stupid to me.
So yeah.
I think I'll make one final post fot Ness, but I'd really appriciate if he wasn't killed off in the SB or anything.

Just do what I'm doing, don't really post unless things get interesting or something actually happens to your character.
You can't take Ness away, with Miranda gone he's the only person that Aidan's ever talked to.
If you leave there's no point for Aidan to stick around either.

Let's try something new, and this question is asked to everyone:

What do you want to see?

Is there anything you want to happen, anything you want to do? It could just be "I want to meet blahblah" or "have my character interact with blahblah" or any character development at all. And, of course, there's also plot ideas.

The reason we are going with Dante's idea is because he seems to be the only one to put it into detail and action, but Noelle has the iron fist and she had already said that it will not succeed. As long as everyone in Camp Half Blood doesn't, like, die, then I'm neutral with anything and would be happy to go in whatever direction you want to go.

So the the drop outs should totally just stop now. D:

Quests would be nice to re-introduce my character.

EDIT: To further explain this, I think this Storybook is killing itself by having the people stay in the Camp. We've already done CTF, which I think is more than enough, no need to do Chariot races, especially since this is becoming a social Storybook, and there's not one time where those haven't died early on. We need to get out of the camp, because it is literally killing the storybook. There is a whole world out there that could be discovered but we're just sitting in the camp socializing the entire time. We could get attacked easily and I guarantee that this would spur some kind of action.

Well now, I have reconsidered that plan, with the Senior Counselers meeting about to begin, it'll give enough reason for the Senior Counslers to travail to Olympus in NY and seek there aid on what to do with Gemini. Meanwhile, Gemini remains behind to deal with all the peoples characters who are dropping out. When they return, most of the campers will have been killed in the siege those who weren't either have fled into the forest to take there chances with the monsters or were not even at Camp at the time of the siege. How is that?

Quit killing people off, dude. Gemini is reaching god mod mode, so stop please.

Right now, let's do a brainstorming session.
All ideas are accepted, and we should list out possible things.

Once again, I am neutral to whatever idea this SB is going to head towards.
But if I may, let me bring out some realistic points across the board.

I'm not sure if you're familiar with the books or not, but the camp is not going to send eight of their seniors to NYC because that will attract so many monsters. Heck, they don't even let more that a few selected people out in a quest because of that reason. That's why we stay in the camp; it's a safe haven for all the demigods. Also, if they want to know what the gods think about Gemini, they would most likely send some satyr or someone that would, you know, be less likely to die from a million monsters attacking them in the thick crowd of NYC.

Aq's quest idea sounds fitting. The books do mostly cover the characters' quest, and without it, yes, the books may be more on the boring side, but what choice do we have right now? Though if someone brings up a reasonable quest along with a fitting prophecy, then I think we should go for it.

However, only a fraction of people would go. The rest of the camp would stay, and I'm not sure if two quests could happen at the same time. So, Aq, even if a quest were to happen, the SB would still be centered around the character development, which in my opinion, is a must for any story.

So much for me having fun, I guess I should post as Gemini again and have her leave Camp for the rest of the week, there is honestly nothing I can do at this point but wait out the rest of the SB.

Or we could have the camp get attacked and create something like the fifth book in the series, where it doesn't really matter if demigods are out in the open.

I agree that character development is a must, but this isn't like an actual story where character development happens all throughout the story, (It does, I'm not saying it doesn't.) but this is a storybook with gods and monsters and we're experiencing none of that! That is the sole reason this thing is dying, because there's so much more to do in this universe than sit around at the camp and chat all day and all night.

Camp gets attacked.. and what happens after that? Once that barrier is broken, it's gone. Camp would be vulnerable to all monsters, so where would all the demigods go?

That's only a powerful attack. If it's just a small, tiny attack, kinda like.. Luke. That's what we need, or close enough. A Luke. And no, @Dante, Gemini is not a Luke, not to me anyways. Luke was sane. >_>

I say we stage a betrayal. Someone helps the monsters get into camp. Someone unknown. Not Gemini, I'm sick of everything being done by her. There has to be other evilish demigods. We need a Silena Beauregard.

BRILLIANT IDEA. How about there's a betrayal, someone on the inside lets monsters in, Camp HB wins.. and Juliet is suspected, because a.) She's new and b.) No one knows her well enough. Eh? I like it.

I've been in an unbelievable amount of these. And, yes, a lot of times these die off because there is too much socializing; but we had fun, and that's important!

I've been in versions of these where kids are sent on quests; and it usually keeps those with characters on the quest posting, but stuff back at Camp dies. The kids on the quest never get the chance to come back. We don't really want that.

I like the idea of the camp being attacked. Very up for that, as it allows the most character cooperation and socialization.

My other thought was that we need more Juggernauts. Right now, Gemini has complete control over their actions; and that's been providing some great plot ideas, but not always ones that work for everyone. We have characters who could be taken into the Juggernauts, but that doesn't have much effect on their actions. I would love to see some of these characters get in on it (Juliet, Daemon, Lucas), but I would also be willing just to make a Juggernaut character and post when needed. That might make the storybook a bit more vivid without, y'know, killing everybody.

I honestly don't mind killing characters, but this is Camp Half-Blood. They should- and would- be mourned more then we give them credit for. I feel like if we kill off too many character without funeral shrouds... it just wouldn't be very Camp Half-Blood.

Monsters attacking camp? That sounds cool! But who'd betray the camp?... We could just fill in plot holes as we go along, and someone needs to prove that Gemini could at least bleed, I mean if no one has the guts to beat her at the moment I'd like to at least make her mad without dying...
And there needs to be one person who trusts Juliet...
The quest could be about proving her innocence or finding out who the traitor is! And a chain of unfortunate events should happen, and out of desperation, the group has to send separate teams of demigods even though it's incredibly unsafe! And since it isn't safe at camp either, whoever is in charge of camp at the moment would rather risk sending out campers than wait and be sitting ducks!
But they'd still leave campers to take care of camp and rebuild it, and some characters could be swayed into joining the bad guys...

Apparently, Juliet and Lucas can't be a Juggernaut, because Mr. Dante apparently already has his entire crew made up of NPCs. Which, in my opinion, makes no sense because what's the point? You just plan on your own. No fun. If he wants, Juliet, I wouldn't mind.

Remember, when they go on quests, someone will die. Maybe more than one. It's how they go, quests are dangerous. Who'd be willing to die? @VeerenVKS? ABRI?! (plz)

Besides, we need a poet to write a quest..thingy for the quest. *Hits face* Prophecy! NoonetellsRickok?! Anyways, yeah. Who's got talent, here?

@danickname - No one trusts Juliet yet, sans Harlow. But that doesn't count since the girls are both mine. Hopefully, someone will. But remember, once she is claimed, she will resent Ares and be angry with the gods.
