Hi everyone! I'm danickname! I just joined the SB and I'm also pretty new to this website. I made the character and I was told to post the profile here. I read what's happened so far and I'll provide a perfectly legitimate excuse for his absence... almost legitimate excuse... uhh, I'll post the profile now.
Name: John Deimos de la Cruz -sometimes called J.D.-
Age: 14
Parents: Ares, god of war and Nicole de la Cruz
Appearance: With a slight figure, a face free of facial hair and acne and arms that definitely need to be toned. It's pretty obvious that Deimos is a "late-bloomer", his brown eyes, sharp nose and messy black hair manage to charm the girls (the ones his age at least) but they make him a laughing stock among the dudes... until Camp-Halfblood at least.
Personality: Despite being the son of Ares, the god of war himself, Deimos is a pretty likeable person. He isn't very violent, and due to being a "late-bloomer", he's awkward, shy and slightly odd. Despite his appearance, Deimos is a talented boxer and his experience in the ring affect his personality, and even when under pressure he is unusually calm, except when talking to a girl...
Brief history: Born as the only son of a Philippine-American newscaster. John Deimos de la Cruz was fairly normal, except for one tiny detail, his dad was the god of war. Every time Deimos would get mad, all hell would break lose. Being half-brothers to immortals Phobos and Deimos -he was named after the latter- he could drive a person half to death with fear when angered. Young J.D. however remained blissfully unaware of these until he was 13 years of age. Seeing no way out of his "condition", his mother only had one logical choice... she enrolled him into boxing classes. Being a natural, Deimos gained quite a reputation among his schoolmates, though he was still often a subject to jokes and pranks, because of him being a "late-bloomer". And so Deimos lived a normal life, going to school like other kids, being socially inept and boxing in his spare time. His precious little life however got burned alive and fed to a wolf one dreary day. After coming home from school that day, Deimos mother was nowhere to be found. The only evidence she was there was a note and a name of some summer camp -which he would become a year-rounder at-, that camp was called Camp Halfblood...
Favorite Weapon: weighted knuckle gloves, though he's also pretty handy with a knife
Magical Item (if you have one): a bracelet which has the ability to instill paranoia into anyone, even other demigods. Assumed to have been come from either Deimos -the god- or Phobos.
Up for love: "I'm fourteen, I suck at talking to girls and people and general... I don't think I'll have a date anytime soon."
Other: As odd as it sounds, his social skills have decreased greatly since arriving at camp.
Might not be able to post for the next couple of days, I'm taking a trip until Friday and while I have Internet, it's not very fast. I will be able to stay caught up with everyone's posts, I just will be not be posting often until I get back on Friday.

Does somebody mind including Cheyenne in their group? Travis is kind of a loner, and doesn't care. But Cheyenne is a really social person, if someone breaks the ice. And Dante, does Travis get to help his big sis with any of her issues? They both control the skies. Double the power.

Hey guys I had an idea! I saw on a recent post on a storybook that Gemini's having a fight with Chiron. I just thought it would be funny, awesome and well "convenient" if a couple of campers just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time and watched or even became directly involved in the fight. I think it would be awesome. If this is all okay with Dante of course... and if people like the idea. Well, I guess that's all I could think of, aside from Deimos being afraid of just about everyone in Ares Cabin/Dorm/House... That's also an okay idea I guess.
On another note, I just realized that my characters have zero friends. Lexi walked away from Gemini and Marxus is anti-social to begin with. Although he did promise himself that he would at least try to make a friend. So what I'm getting at is is there anybody's characters who need friends or at least someone to talk to? I find it kind of hard to post when my characters aren't interacting with anyone. Guess it's really my fault in the first place. Anyone wanna help me out?? Pretty please??

Basically the idea for the fight between Chiron and Gemini is to get the camp to notice Gemini and not just her threats, eventually Gemini will stop playing reluctant to fight and start fighting seriously. Eventually people will take notice that Chiron is missing and so is Gemini and eventually someone will come looking for the both of them.

Name: Thrace Greer Age: 16 Parents: Risa Greer and Dionysus Appearance: dark curly hair, indigo eyes, fair skin (summer tan), 5’5, usually wears bright colors, shorts and combat boots, she likes bracelets, and dresses up for parties. Personality: she’s a people person. She’s somewhat dramatic and up for almost anything if it sounds fun. She is genuinely sweet and can be clingy if she’s left alone for too long. She loves to laugh and party and tries not to take life to seiously She’s a candy addict, but really, if she is without her lollipops, she is no fun. At all. Personal history: Not long after she was born her mother fell into sever alcoholism and Thrace was more or less at the mercy of her mother’s sobriety binges until her grandfather intervened when she was eight. They moved from the big apple to a small North Carolina vineyard. Thrace started school and fell in love with the theater and, in junior high, parties. At the end of her sophomore year, after a much too realistic encounter with chimera and an intervention from here theatre teacher, she wound up going to camp half-blood. Weapon: Being new to the whole Fight-for-your-life thing, she doesn’t really have a favorite. So she uses the standard Falcata and a bronze hunting knife for anything that doesn’t understand personal boundaries. Up for love: Always, but she may be weirded out by a real relationship, nothing that can’t be worked through. Other: people within 15 feet of her are subject to mild to extreme alcohol related personality changes. (From being instantly a bubbly drunk to just feeling slightly off kilter)
