Why is your username your username?

Because Dogs are the most adorable thing ever!!! And because I have a more or less slight compulsive obsession over labs :3. My username for all my videogames is: KillaGthug4Life, buuuttt I didn't think that would be the most appropriate name for YWS lol.

. . . Because I am Aria Adams (or a variant of the same) on every site involving arts, writing included.
Also because people are never sure if that's my real name or not, and I'm evil like that and like making people confused :3

I am sometimes Nemo (again, sometimes with numbers or dashes or something), but I don't think you will ever find me using that name on sites in English. That one came from the time I read Jules Verne, and loved the character of Captain Nemo, so I was called so by some friends at the time ^^

Blue because when I first saw "To Kill a Mockingbird" I always thought they were saying "Blue Radley" and I thought how cool it would be to be called "Blue" (even though, as it turns out, it's actually BOO Radley), and I've always wanted to go to Africa.

My username? Oh, it's a mystical mythology of a time long ago. Not much survive to tell the tale.

See, there's a woman named Elizabeth, who was a single woman with child and so never got the chance to go to college.

But sometimes she would've trotted up to her local college anyway, with some books she picked up from her workplace, because she thought it the cool place to go to in her town, and she liked the idea of walking by there pretending to fit in. She didn't really have many friends.

It just so happened that she met a gangly guy named Henry, who worked at the computer lab station back when computers looked like this:



ohyeah. He was real cool. Like those modern jocktypes.

Anyway. So they didn't really have much to talk about, because neither of them could speak english very well, or knew of each other's languages, but they could at least watch movies together and they could at least watch romantic movies together and that's what they ended up doing, and Audrey Hepburn's movies just so happened to be a favorite. Go figure.



And so baby was born, out I popped, and name was had. And there we go, I was stuck with trying to live up to it forever.

2 years ago, I started writing my first book with a main character with "unusual turquoise eyes". XD I loved that character. He was my most perfect creation!

A variant of turquoise is 'aquamarine", am I right?

I tried that, but YWS already had an Aquamarine. ^^"

So I tried just aqua and my age at the time, 12. But then, I realized that I'd turn 13 in a few weeks so I just kept aqua1213.

I'm very close to my Granny and we always talked about what name, given the chance again, would she have named me and she said "Morningstar." And then I asked my mom if she had any other names she would have wanted to name me and she said "Rozleene." So when I found this site I took "Star" and added "Leene" and Wha-Lah! A Star is born!

This is the only username I've had

My original username (jaetwee) is the name I carry for just aout everything I sign up for. As you can probably tell, I have no problem with having to add numbers ot my username as it is unique.
jaetwee came from back when I would talk gibberish and pretend it was another language (way before I knew the aspects of the fine art of conlanging). It was the translation of my real first name which I feel may ave originated from me liking the name Jae, and wanting to add a different spin on it. Of course, it's all a bit fuzzy as I was 5 or 6 when this came about.

As for my current name: noninjaspresent, It was just after New Years 2012, and I felt like it was time for a bit of change. As a bit of an inside, but public joke, I am often known as a ninja, and in several YWS fanfic SBs, I took on the role of a highly trained ninja. I also tended to appear as "invisible" on chat. The name is also a play on the idea that no one knows I'm a ninja even though most people do. It's like saying a secret out loud then saying "shh, it's a secret".

Spaces didn't really work with the name, and I have of not including myself as a proper noun, seeing myself more as a thing, leading to te lack of caps. So that's how I got my name.

Mine has a super-clever explanation :eyeroll: I don't do mornings and prefer to stay up late. So I created niteowl when I joined a different site. Spelling and capitalization were because I thought all people on the Internet did that. My first pieces posted on here even had less than good grammar solely because that's what I saw and therefore what people expected.

I don't have any interesting names on other sites, but my first email address name was astrogumaddict, because I liked astrology and gum. Yeah, I'm really bad at this.

I was originally Shinobiinfinity.

I was on a huge Naruto kick, and I thought that my name sounded cool, but it didn't. Thus I shortened it to Shino, which doesn't sound half as bad! I also considered Papa Legba. Papa Legba is a Ghede Loa from Voodoo. He's believed to be the keeper of the crossroads, only he can permit someone to speak to spirits and Loa, without his permission, you're screwed. I didn't pick that because I'm not the 'papa' type.

My name is Emerson. So it was a pretty easy choice.

because i like it

honestly? i was making a reference to a story i was working on. juju bee and i started it on tumblr until i decided to write it out (simply because i never liked how she worked the shipping.) that's only because it can't work in the long term.

that's my writing style, it's reason-driven. motivations heightened through high stakes where losing means death -of a dream, of their world, or at times literal death.

Well, the story goes like this...

There used to be these chips called Twistos, which ChocoCookie and I had mutual feelings for (We first bonded over that) and I remember she used to call me 'Muffins' and I used to call her 'Cookie'. (Or was it the other way around...)

Anyhoot, when I wanted to change my username, I thought about TwistosMuffins, but then I was like, 'what the hell is that?'. And then I thought of 'TwistedMuffins' and I'm like, meh, that should do it.


I was Justtrying, when I first joined. Simply because I was just trying my hand at writing for the first time. C:

Ever since I was really little I have been obsessed with the color pink and the color sparkly, which I insisted was indeed a color. So I was going to go with Pinksparkles but then I decide that something shorter would be better.
On other site I have been emmaunicorn. I also have a bit of a unicorn obsession, and my name is Emma.
