When I was about ten years old I read a book called Freya - The Story of Valhalla (I don't think it has been translated to English). In that book there was a wise old king, named Alvarin, who ruled over Alfheim. Of some reason I got stuck on that name
It's apparently an old Norse name, a combination of the words alf and arn, which means elf and eagle.

Here's the truth of it all. When I was little, one of my favorite books was Maniac Magee by Jerry Spinelli. When I turned 11, I quickly became obsessed with A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket. I decided I wanted a pen name because pen names are cool and I felt the name "Candace" was awfully lame in my case, and so I conjured my own sort of alternate persona called Lizzie Spinelli. Because I was 11. And I was extremely clever.
Since then, I narrowed down my pseudonym to simply "spinelli" because I think it sounds more mature and mysterious. [And everyone keeps capitalizing it. e.e. cummings never capitalized anything. Why should I?]
"Zyphlid" itself is a combination of two words that are now lost to me, but I know relate back to the Man of War (the animals the Zyphlids are based off).

I was originally BlueRaspberry, which was the first username I could think of when I joined, though not particularly well-thought-through. I didn't really like it anymore, so I decided to change my name to Veritas, but that was sadly already taken. So I decided on Sapi instead.
History of Sapi: Pretty simple. Shortening for sapiente, wisdom in Latin.
The name flora is a pretty name. It reminds me of the painting of the beautiful blonde angel i saw 15 years ago. Then, geis, the last name, i guess came from meep geis (sry if i cant spell it right.. that is the most complicated short word i ever seen)She is another beautiful blonde that i have seen in the movie: Diary of Anne Frank.
People kept asking me if my username was Japanese or something and the sad news is no.
Believe it or not, 'Mikko' comes from my initials ('M'arie-'I'sabelle) and the first 'K' from my mum's maiden name and the 'Ko' from the beginning of my surname.
I could've just been Mikk but I thought that would have been boring.
So yeah.

Mine is pretty weird. xD! Since many of you know, this is not my first username. I used to be called shubhiloves2write, Shubhi, Shrubbery before settling on this username of mine.
The Story Behind MiaParamore:
I had been using name generators to get name for one of my characters in the novel, and that's when Mia Paramore came as a result. Then I quit the idea of having this as my charrie's name and instead adopted it for myself.
Pretty long story, right?

Well, I thought of my name when I was just fooling around with my sister. I said that what she said need's awesome sauce on it, so that's where mine came from.
