Mount Olympus [8]

Jackie

I watch Nic and shake my head at him, Natalie tripping and falling on her face. She breaks out crying.

Nic

I snap out of it and take Natalie in my arms, sitting on my heels, "S'okay, Natti. Daddy's got you."

Jackie

I go and walk to them on my knees, making sure she didn't hurt herself that badly.

Nic

I look up at Jackie before focusing back on Natalie, wiping her eyes.

Jackie

She stops almost immidiatly and continues crawling. I shake my head and watch her, "Well then.."

Nic

I watch her go, raising an eyebrow, "Premature PMS?"

Jackie

I smile and nod as she crawls into her brothers room. I sigh, "And he complains in 3...2...1..."

Nic

I smile back and look at the room, waiting.

"Mom!" Bryce calls. "The monkey's in my room again!"

Jackie

I chuckle and pretend like I don't hear him, just glancing in his room casually.

Nic

I smile and shake my head, sighing. Bryce, carrying Natalie in front of him like she's a dirty diaper herself, comes out of his room and sets her in the hallway. He walks back into the room and locks his door.

Jackie

I sigh, Natalie crawling to his door once more, and pouts when she realizes she can't get in.

Nic

I watch Natalie for a little before glancing at Jackie again, "Bryce should, like, spend a week with Jace and Rayah and learn to be a brother..."

Jackie

Natalie plops down infront of the door and plays with her feet as I look at Nic, "What do you mean?"

Nic

I sigh, "Like... it'd be like bootcamp or something. Jace was like a father to me almost. He could shed light on what it's like to be a big brother and maybe help him realize how lucky he is to have a little sister."

Jackie

I hesitate, "But when Rayah gets mad...It's not fun. God, I can't even imagine now that she's what she is..."
