Trust me. That won't hurt him. Watching her take someone else will hurt him. I swallow and hesitate before nodding, sitting down and turning away.

I look at Rayah, "Please, Rayah. It won't hurt me. I promise you. Helping you won't hurt me."

Jackie

I look at Jace and shake my head, It'll hurt her more than she already is.

Rayah

I hesitate before taking her wrist, glancing up at her before sinking my fangs into it. She gasps a little and looks away.

Nic

I close my eyes and cringe when I hear Rayah sink into Jackie's wrist, anxiously setting a hand on my own wrists.

Jace

I watch for a second before getting up and sitting with Nic, crossing my arms insecurely. Why will me helping her hurt her?

Jackie

My face slowly drains color and I close my eyes, taking a deep breath.

Rayah

I keep going, not able to stop.

Nic

After a moment or two, I open my eyes and turn around. Looking at Jackie, I jump over the couch and order Rayah to stop. I pull Jackie away and keep her standing, holding out my wrist instead.

I curl up on the couch when Nic leaves, closing my eyes.

Jackie

I drop to my knees, tired suddenly.

Rayah

I don't hesitate, grabbing his wrist and pulling him towards me as I sink my fangs into his wrist.

Nic

I keep Jackie close to me and curse under my breath, trying to keep my heart beat at an even rate. Don't panic, don't panic, don't panic. This is not like it was. This is not the same.

Jace

"J-Jace," Nic whimpers. "Please get your a*s over here. Please."

I open my eyes and sit up, noticing a nearly-unconscious Jackie at his side and a fear-stricken expression plastered on his face. Hesitating, I stand and walk over to them.

Jackie

I close my eyes, not having enough strength to speak before I pass out. She's a hybrid, guys. She goes on a frenzy.

Rayah

I keep going, eyes closed.

Nic

I swallow and watch Jace move Jackie to the couch, wrapping her wrist up. My eyes start to droop as well, my face draining of color, but the adrenaline keeps me awake. Jace returns and moves me away from Rayah, doing the same, before walking back to her and offering himself.

Jackie

I bury my face in a pillow, yawning.

Rayah

I pull him down to me, sinking my fangs into his neck.

Nic

I manage to make my way to Jackie, wrapping my arms numbly around her and calming down.

Jace

I panic for a moment before closing my eyes and swallowing, setting a hand on the side of her face.

Jackie

I open my eyes slightly, yawning.

Rayah

I keep going, eyes closed but red on the inside.

Nic

I look at Jackie, pulling myself closer, "You alright?"

I start to get tired, but don't tell her, weakening slowly.

Jackie

I nod but don't say anything, burying my face in his shirt.

Rayah

He starts to droop but I bring him closer, laying him down and continuing by instinct.

Nic

I keep her close and close my eyes, swallowing.

I swallow and close my eyes, keeping a hand on the side of her face, "R-Ray, you gotta stop. Please."
