Okay, one more free spot that can be filled by a new character. Two of the spots may be open, but those taking them up will have to take on the role of the original character in those places (for consistency).

Name: Vega Morgan
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Appearance: Vega is over six feet tall, and she has a strong, athletic build. Her skin is very pale, and her hair is platinum blonde (naturally). Her eyes, on the other hand, are almost black, and she usually wears dark clothes--tight pants, lace-up boots, turtlenecks or jackets, and sometimes leather gloves and a belt.
Personality: Vega is friendly and personable most of the time. She has a mischievous streak, and likes to play pranks and goof around. She's athletic, she likes to run, and she enjoys sparring and experimenting with her power (in private, of course). She's very secretive when it comes to her personal life, though, and she'll sometimes go off at people who start asking questions. When she's preoccupied with unpleasant memories, she'll become reserved, and often won't talk to people until she's worked it off.
Group: Defender
Power: Vega can generate and control intense magnetic fields. However, very powerful fields will drain her of energy, and will magnetize her own blood, making her queasy for a long time afterward.
Other: Vega likes to draw. She carries her sketchbook with her in a messenger bag wherever she goes, but she doesn't show people her drawings often. She also carried a small knife with a spiral pattern etched in the blade--a family heirloom. Up for love.

For those interested in undertaking the open original roles, here are the original profiles:

Stanley
Spoiler
Name: Stanley Durpar

Age: 18 - almost 19.

Gender: Male

Appearance: Human:Stan is big and imposing, standing at about 6'3". He has broad shoulders and thick arms which he usually has crossed. He is bowlegged, which somehow only serves to make him look more intimidating. He would have blonde hair, except he shaved it all off and now all he has is a stubbly buzzcut. He usually wears a scowl, eyebrows knitting together and glaring at everyone.

Fox: His fox form is small and catlike, a silver animal who's feet darken to black. It has small rounded ears and your average bushy fox tail. He has deep amber eyes and a small white stripe down his chest. Since he is small enough to be picked up, he is not very strong or dangerous but can easily get around unnoticed.

Personality: Despite his looks, Stanley is quiet and gentle. He is kind to everyone, and it is hard (though definatly not impossible) to make him angry. He deeply cares about other people and gets along okay with them, but he can also do well working solo.

Group: Spy

Power: Fox. (Don't mention about how foxes are feminine... It's a sore subject.)

Other: Up for love.
When he is in fox form he can hardly resist hunting small animals. It's pretty gross. He also likes to call his fox form Par.

Dharius
Spoiler
Name: Dharius Cervantes

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Appearance: Dharius is a short, but robust teenager. His face has a crude appearance because he is almost always frowning. He has brown hair, but shaves it constantly to show the snake tattoo at the top of his skull.
Dharius has two strong arms, although his legs are very thin (something good, because that grants him more agility). Hands are almost always closed fists, which gives him a more agressive appearance.
He won't take his eyes off you, with that rude gaze that Dharius takes everywhere he goes.

Personality: Grown in the streets of Mexico, Dharius won't let anyone stand in his way. Since he was a kid, he suffered violence at school at home, but that made him even stronger in guts. Most of the time you speak to him he will not answer, but when he does, it's in a mad way.
He's almost always angry, and if you make him even more mad, you won't be safe while he remembers whatever you made or told.
Dharius doesn't really cares for anyone, sometimes he doesn't even care for himself, whereas his goals and thirst for vengeance are his priority.

Group: Defender.

Power: Regenerating power, but in order to be able to heal himself, he must be idle. Trying to regenerate while being active will only consume most of his energy.

Other: He hates the Government. He hates the world. He hates everyone. He hates God ("if he exists, he's just and abusive being", he thinks). But he wants power to take vengeance because what people have made to him... And he'll get that power joining the people of Arkyle.

Besides profiles, all OOC posts are to be made in the DT now.

Alli; The King's Dungeon - Arkyle
I paced across the confines of the golden cage, stiff and silent in the eerie shadows. Dharius had willingly been dragged away and we were all anxious to know if he was alright.

All of the remaining were sprawled throughout the cage in various states of unrest. Ava sat in the far corner, clenching her fists in anger. Vega sat beside her giving what little comfort she could. Everyone was tense, and everyone was on edge. I just wanted to go home.

"So," said Mitchell, "how the hell are we getting out of here?"
"I don't know. If only they hadn't put us in this darn charmed cafe! I banged my arm against the gold bars, letting it rattle into the darkness.

Ree rose and joined me against the cage wall. "We've already tried everything." he said softly. "Now, our only hope is Dharius, but even then I don't think he's going to be much help. He seemed to have already made the decision of which side he's on long ago."

"I know," I said, "but we can always hope... and try. We are The Chosen after all." I stood up a little straighter and spoke a little louder. "We are The Chosen after all..."

I rested my head on my paws. I still wasn't able to change back. Until now. A sharp pain in my head instantly vanished. I yawned and shifted back, my bones cracking loud from being suddenly changed.

"I know," Allie said, "but we can always hope... and try. We are The Chosen after all." I stood up a little straighter and spoke a little louder. "We are The Chosen after all..."

"We may be the Chosen, but we are helpless stuck in this dungeon. And we Spies especially in these cages," I said, shaking the bars on my cage for emphasis. Even though we were in a giant golden cage, more like a room instead, the spies were confusing locked in cages.

I paced back and forth, furious with the world. It had seemed like we were going to get free, for a moment. And then they gassed the hall we were in, and we all found ourselves in this massive cage like a bunch of retired zoo animals. I'm a person! I wanted to yell. I didn't ask for any of this! I'd just wanted to help my planet.... And I'd ended up being half-lied to by my own government, tossed onto a foreign planet with no contact and no help, and then - oh, whoops - it turned out that there wasn't actually any meeting with the Arkylians, and we were apparently hostile invaders. Now we were trapped in some charmed cage that prevented us from using our powers, probably about to be killed or drilled for information, with no hope of rescue - unless you counted Dharian, the lying, bullying traitor who had sold us for power.

Finally, Mitchell brought up the important question: getting out of here. I didn't know what the Arkylians wanted with us, but it probably wasn't good for our health. Alli just growled half to herself, hitting the bars of the cage in anger.

There was a brief silence. Anger simmered among all of us - anger at our own government, anger at the Arkylians, anger at Dharius. Alli glared at no one in particular, and Ava was clenching her fists in fury.

"We've already tried everything," I said quietly, mostly just because I couldn't stand the silence. "Now our only hope is Dharius, but I don't think he's going to be much help. He seems to have made his decision of which side he's on long ago," I spat.

"I know," Alli answered. "But we can always hope... and try. We are the Chosen, after all." She stood up a little straighter, suddenly sounding a little more proud. "We are the Chosen, after all," she repeated.

My mind's eye flashed back to a few days ago - it felt like years. I remembered a glass bubble, the air screaming around us, Alli, Vega and myself straining as we tried to keep us alive... and when that bubble finally slowed to a stop, and it hadn't shattered, and we hadn't died. We are the Chosen! That was what she'd said. As the memory of the triumph and exhilaration surfaced, I felt a little bit of hope. Maybe...

"We may be the Chosen," said Leo, interrupting my little moment, "but we are helpless, stuck in this dungeon. And we spies especially, in these cages." He shook the bars of his own personal cage to illustrate, and I deflated. He was right. It would be hard to get the spies out of their own cages, and even then we'd still be trapped in the bigger one. And then we'd have to escape and hide from the government and get off or Arkyle, without any human assistance or contact with Earth.

Then I looked at Ava, sitting there with Vega, trying to calm herself down. "But there has to be something," I said desperately - even if I didn't think that, at least I could be an encouragement. "You just shifted back - maybe that means something... oh, I don't know!" And with that failed attempt of hope, I sat back down resignedly. We're finished, a tiny voice told me. You've failed.
"We need not to be let alone. We need to be really bothered once in a while. How long is it since you were really bothered? About something important, about something real?"

Vega

"Okay, first of all: when we get out, I'm going to kill Dharius." I felt like that just had to be said. "And second: this doesn't make any sense."

"What doesn't make any sense?" Leo asked.

"How you guys shifted back," I clarified. "If those cages were actually power-proof, then you would've stayed in your animal forms. That means they have some sort of flaw...right?" What it might be, I couldn't imagine, but hey, we had to start somewhere, right?

"Leo, stand back," I said. I stood up and took aim at Leo's cage, figuring it was worth a shot.

Leo shuffled to the back of the cage. "How do you know these are magnetic?" he asked uncertainly.

"Well, it's metal," I replied. "It has to respond at least a little bit. Don't move."

"How do you know you can still use your power in here?" Leo asked.

"It's worth a try, isn't it?" I couldn't make a dent in the cell bars, but maybe I'd be able to manipulate things inside. "Don't move, okay?"

Spoiler
Can she do that in here?
