(Sorry I haven't posted in a while- life has been insane this week.)

Olivia/can converse with animals:

The rehearsal went great, everyone had their acts down pat and mine new routine went over really well- can't wait to show them the next one I'm cooking up. The new girl Xan seems really nice and her special ability is neat. She's sleeping near me in the girls tent- maybe I can make a new friend...

"Great job, guys," Nick says, breaking into my thoughts, "Let's hit this town up!"

I grin at him and scamper to the girls tent to clean up and change. Out of my one pack I pull my favorite outfit. A vintage style black and white pokadot dress, red cardigan, carpi leggings and black flats. I'll admit it- I'm a total girly girl. I absolutely love dresses and feminine things. I like being able to let that bit of me out. I quickly brush out my hair and put it in a messy bun on the back of my head. A touch of mascara, and a spritz of perfume and I feel like a million bucks. I duck out of the tent and nearly run into Nick, I smile at him- tucking a flyaway piece of hair behind my ear.

"Hey, you wanna, like, get some ice cream or something?" He asks all stuttering and blushy. I feel my own cheeks suddenly grow hot,

“O-okay.” I smile, suddenly shy of him. “ Ice cream sounds good.... but, what's the “or something” ?” Nick goes pale and gives me a wide eyed deer in the headlights look- I have to laugh. “ I was joking Nick,” I grin at him. “Ice cream sounds good. Let me just grab my wallet- I forgot it.”

“No I got it covered....” He says not looking at me. I give him a long look,

“Uh Nick- are you asking me out?”

Nick, teleporter,

"Uh, Nick-Are you asking me out?" Livy asks, and I swear I almost teleport halfway across the country. I turn even redder, and take a deep breath.

"Well, umm, yes. I guess I am," I say, and once it's out, I suddenly feel ridiculously confident. Livy smiles, and my heart suddenly starts beating at about a hundred miles an hour.

"Let's get going, then," Livy says, and takes my hand. I don't know what to do, so I just start walking with her towards town. It's a nice night, humid, but warm, and the night stretches out before us with limitless opportunity.

"So, was that a yes?" I manage to get out. Livy just smiles and keeps on walking. We get into town, passing my old orphanage and the supermarket. In the downtown, we find a nice-looking ice cream parlor, and we are just about to go inside when I stop, staring at a man in a fedora, sitting at the restaurant across the street. And then he is gone.
And remember...A portkey can be any sort of harmless object...A football...or a dolphin.

Xan- Elasticity

After my contortionist act is the trapeze. I hate to admit it, but the girl was very good; she looked so sure of herself swinging from the trapeze, it almost made it look easy. When her act finished and she got down, she walked over to me.

"Hi," she said. "I'm Jezebel, but everyone calls me Jez."

"I'm Xan," I said, giving her a smile.

"Nice to meet you, you are going to have fun here," she said, giving me a big smile.

I returned the smile, but I didn't say anything. What if Nef was right? Was it really that bad? From Nef's description it didn't sound too fun.

"Are we definitely going out later?" Jez asked Nick.

"Yeah, we are running good time," he said.

With that I went back to the girls' tent to change. I slipped into skinny jeans, black ballet flats, a light green tank top and a black scarf. I pulled my hair out of its ponytail, my hair perfectly wavy. My power could also be used to control the shape and length of my hair. I applied eyeliner, mascara, and a light peach lipstick.

When I left the tent, almost everyone else was already outside. I walked over to where two twins were standing. Both of them were pretty cute, if you asked me.

"Hey there stranger," I said, tapping one of them on the shoulder lightly. "I don't believe we've met yet. I'm Xan."

Matthew/Tamer~~~~telekinesis

I jumped in surprise, causing Chaos to chuckle wickedly. When I turned around, it was the girl with the rubber body. I gave her a kind smile. "The name's Matthew, but everyone calls me Tamer."
Xan raised a brow. "Why do they call you Tamer?"
Chaos cackled like a madman. "It's because of me. My real name's Mark, but everybody calls me Chaos 'cause of my chaotic antics." He made a mud ball and shot it at Xan.
Using my own power, I caught his ball and shot it at his chest. "Cut it out, Chaos. Your trickster days are at an end when I'm through with you."
Chaos cackled again. "That's an old threat, Little Brother. You ain't got the heart to do anything to me. You know you don't. We're family, remember?"
I glared at him. He just had to bring up us being family. "I'll get back at you, one of these days. You just wait."
He cackled once more. "That'll be a cold day in July." He left, grinning rather proudly.
I sighed and looked at Xan. "Chaos and I are twin brothers, him being the eldest. We're both telekinetic, but you might see me on the high ropes more often than you would Chaos. If I were you, I'd watch my back. Chaos is also the prankster of this gang and I know for a fact that everyone - except me - is a target for his little tricks."

Mark/Chaos~~~~telekinesis

I held my grin as I watched Tamer converse with the new girl. It didn't take a genius to know he was beginning to develop a crush on her. I snickered. "Smoochie smoochie. Tamer's in looove." I walked outside for a while until I found Nef. With Tamer too busy with the new girl, I took this as a chance to finally steal me my first kiss. I got up to Nef. "You and I have something that's overdue, Nef."
She looked at me like she was curious. "And what might that be, Chaos?"
I grinned. "This." I held her against me and pressed my lips against hers. I couldn't believe what I was doing, but it was too late to turn tail now. I finally had the nerve to steal my first kiss and there I did it. I stole my first kiss and I felt like I was burning up from the inside. It felt so good, I just couldn't allow myself to release Nef. However, I had to break the kiss because we both needed air. I was left breathless. "Now that...was worth sneaking away from Tamer for."

"Hmmm," I mused. "Beware of Kili and Chaos. Anyone else I should watch out for?"

Tamer looked at me gravely. "I would watch out for Nef too. She and my brother are planning something and I don't think it's a good thing."

I nodded, thinking of what Nef had said to me earlier. We began to walk towards town, walking together still.

"So what brought you here?" he asked, trying to lighten the mood.

I shrugged. "I was tired of being bossed around by someone who didn't know what she was talking about. I was tired of feeling unwanted. I didn't have any family or any real friends, so it was either stay at the orphanage, beg on the streets, or come here. The choice was obvious," I said, chuckling a bit.

He nodded. "It's not too bad here, honestly. We don't always get along, and sometimes we barely scrape by, but we're around people just like us."

We stopped outside of a small deli and went in there for dinner. I didn't have much money so I settled for a bowl of soup and a small iced tea.

"So what's your story?" I asked him when we settled into a booth in the corner. "How did you and Chaos end up here?"

I blinked a few times when he kissed me, doing a reality check to see if I was dreaming or this was reality. I liked Mark, handsome, charming, sweet even, guess now I know why he never pranked me. I kissed Chaos again, a hot passionate animalistic kiss that felt like we were in a sweat lodge. Once me and him parted I gave him a seductive smile, and waited a few seconds as I looked into his eyes.

"Don't worry about a private life anymore, if Tamer comes around, I'll zap him in the rear end and tell him to get out." I said.

He nodded, "does this mean were, you know, offcial now?" Chaos asked.

I nodded, "yep, now how about we have a night on the town, our plans can wait until tomorrow shall we?" I asked.

"We shall." Chaos replied taking my hand and leading me out.

I watch as Tamer walk away with the new girl. It did bother me. When ever we had the opportunity to go out on the town, I usually stuck with him. We were good friends. I use to be really close with Nick and Livy, but any one can tell they are in love. Never liked being the third wheel. Not being with Livy or Nick was not a good feeling, but it did not feel like this. Was I Possibly jealous? I do not know, but I do oit like this feeling. The more I think about it, the more I think that it would not matter. He Probably would think I am just a little girl with a crush.

I snap out of my head and look around, finding no one. I sigh and walk to the kitchen, finding Steve. "What are you still doing here?" I ask him.

"I could ask you the same thing."he says.

"I thought everyone left."

"Me too." He says.

"Come on, you and I will go some where." I say smiling.

I led Nef away from the circus, my mind still going crazy from our kiss. Oh my God Almighty, I must be dreaming! I steal my first kiss and now I'm offically Nef's boyfriend. Just my luck! Can this day get any better? I led her to the park and sat down beside her on a bench. "You know, Tamer would've have a fit if he found out about you and me being offical." I chuckled. "I don't care what he thinks about you and me, so he can just suck it up and deal with it."
It was easy to tell that Nef was glad to hear all that from me.
I put my arm around her waist. "When I first saw you, I haven't touched you with my pranks. To Tamer, it wasn't like me to spare a zapper like you. It didn't take him long to figure out I had feelings for you. I bet by the time he figures out that we're offical, it'll be too late for him to stop me." I kissed her lips once more, keeping her close with my arm around her waist.

Matthew/Tamer~~~~telekinesis

I had myself a plate of shrimp and fries with a small Dr. Pepper. When Xan asked me about Chaos and my story, I sighed. "There's not really much to talk about. Chaos and I have been twin brothers for as long as the both of us can remember. We were on the streets for some time until Nick took us in. Chaos pranked just about everybody in the circus just to amuse himself, but then Nef came along."
Xan looked at me seriously. "I can't help but notice the anger in your tone."
I sighed. "It's because I am angry. Nef became another exception in Chaos' prankster book. Of all the girls that could've caught his eye, I couldn't believe it was Nef. I tried my best to keep him away from her, but it was too late for me to save him from his feelings. Being the dark half of the two of us, he has an evil streak about him and there's no point in stopping him from causing trouble." I ate a shrimp slowly. "He called me Tamer because there's never really chaos without someone to tame it. Although he and I are opposites at a degree, we're still family and always will be. He and I just can't really be apart for long. You heard of 'twin telepathy,' right?"
Xan shrugged.
I sighed again. "It's how I know when he's up to something. When he's up to something, I can sense it and act upon it before he takes it too far. That's one of the downsides of being a twin. You can sense what the other's up to, but it interferes with having a private life with anybody." I never told Chaos that I also wanted a private life, but having to babysit my big brother was the only life I had besides that of the circus.

Olivia/ can converse with animals:

I looked up at Nick in surprise, he had stopped all of a sudden, not evening giving any warning.

“Nick? You okay?” As I asked my eyes followed his across the street, and my blood ran cold, I could actually feel my skin crawl. A man in a fedora was sitting across the street at a restaurant, he looked just like the men who took my father away.

I blinked, rubbing my eyes and looked again- he was gone.

“H-h-hey Nick?” my voice shook as I spoke, “Did you see that guy?”

“You mean the one in the hat?” He answered looking down at me, my heart sunk.

“Yeah.... that guy.” He nodded,

“I take it you saw him too Livy?” I nodded, “Know who he is?” I nodded,

“He looks like the men who took my father away. He was like me, he could talk to animals too.” Nick looked surprised,

“Your dad was like us?” I nod, feeling close to tears, the memories of that god awful day washing over me.

“Y-yeah.... It was a two years ago. I always went to his office after school. Dad and mom split when I was really little. My mom cheated on him and was into all sorts of bad stuff so dad got full custody of me. Anyway, I went to his office after school like always, I'd help take care of the animals or just sit in his office doing homework while he worked. Then around six we'd go home. We lived on the edge of town in this old farm house.” my heart twists with the bittersweet memories,

“Sounds nice.”

“It was, anyway it seemed a normal day but then all of a sudden these men.... dressed just like the man over there was, these men came in and said they were policemen and arrested my dad. But they weren't policemen, Mrs. Kennedy- she was this old lady who was Dad's secretary told me they were a covert agency who “made people disappear” ….” I swallow hard- fighting back tears, Nick puts his arm around my shoulders in an awkward hug, “Mrs. Kennedy got me out the back door and told me to run..... run and not stop. She gave me the address of this Farm out in the Midwest, apparently it's like a commune or a place for people like us, a safe place. So I went there. I only had my vaulting things and school stuff in my backpack, when I got home the whole place was ransacked, so I only stayed for a minute- just long enough to grab some clothes and stuff and to get Tempest and we started for the safe place. We traveled at night an mostly off the roads- we didn't want to be found.”

“Did you find it?”

“Yeah, but it was a burned out shell when we arrived....”

“God.....”

“We just wandered after that-well until you found me...”

Nick, teleporter,

“We just wandered after that-well until you found me...”

I feel my heart sink after Livy finishes. I can't believe she's been through all this, and is still such a wonderful person. I clear my throat.

"Livy...I never imagined...I mean, I never thought that something like that had happened to you," I hug her again, "But if these agents are showing up near us..."

"...Then they're probably coming after the Circus now," Livy finishes. I nod, fear washing over me.

"Was the guy in the hat looking at us?" I ask, "I didn't notice."

Livy shakes her head, "No, he was looking down the street, almost like he was waiting for someone, or something."

"Maybe they don't know about us yet, then," I say, hopefully. Livy gives an uncertain nod.

"Maybe," she agrees, "But we need to keep and eye out."

"Definitely," I say, glancing at the restaurant again. I hesitate and then say, "Do you still want ice cream, or do you want to go back?"

Kili, emotional manipulator,

And just like that, everyone is gone. They all paired up and left to do whatever it is they liked to do. No one so much as spoke to me, which is fine. Perfect, in fact. I change from my performance clothes into jeans and a tank top, and head into town as well, although for a very different reason. For work, you might say.
I wander around downtown, avoiding the others, who I see at various restaurants and parks. Then, as I knew I would, I see him. Falwell is sitting outside of a restaurant, watching me expectantly. When I look away from him, I see that time has stopped again. I giggle when I notice Nick and Livy directly across from the restaurant, holding hands. I sit down at the table with Falwell. A waitress was in the process of pouring him a glass of water, and the water is frozen in mid-stream. Grinning, I move the glass several inches to the side, and look back up at Falwell, who raises an eyebrow. I shrug.

"So?" He asks.

"Nef has made a move on almost everyone in the Circus," I say absently, leaning over and grabbing some fries from the table next to us, "and there's a new addition; a contortionist."

"Interesting," Falwell muses, "Which side do you think she will take?"

I shrug again, "I don't know, and I don't care. As far as I'm concerned, everything is working out fine."

"Excellent," Falwell reaches into his pocket and pulls out a bottle with a single pill, and holds it out to me, "This is your final treatment. After this, the effects should be permanent. You have been practicing, I trust?"

I nod, and open the bottle. The pill is small, and I swallow it without trouble. The effect is almost instantaneous. It's like I'm being supercharged. I grin, and realize that I can feel a weakness in Falwell's defenses. I push. He frowns.

"What are you do--?" And then a blank look over takes his face. I gape. It worked. I had tried to make him feel confused, and it looked like it had worked. Slowly, a grin spreads across my face. I release Falwell from my control. He blinks, and straightens his fedora.

"Well, I think it is time to move onward to phase two," he says, and I nod, "I will bring a bigger force next time we meet. Make sure that they are deep in conflict by that time, and ensure that your powers are at full force." I nod again. Falwell stands, and pushes the glass back under the stream of water. And then I blink, and time is flowing once again, and Falwell has disappeared.

"Don't worry," I whisper, "My powers will be more than ready."

I nodded. I'd honestly never heard of it, but I think I understood. "I think it'd be cool to have a twin. For that matter, it would be cool to have a sibling at all," I smiled, taking a sip of tea.

He shrugged. "It's okay. I mean, it's nice to have family, but Chaos is... chaos."

"I agree." I paused, not wanting to ask my next question because I thought it would sound stupid. "So... Does everyone have powers here?"

He smiled. "Of course, that's why we made this circus."

"Oh. Right," I blushed and laughed awkwardly. "That makes me a little relieved."

"What do you mean?"

I sighed. "I've always been called a freak. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one with weird powers."

"Your powers aren't weird," he shook his head. "It's cool. And not everyone's lucky enough to have them. You just have to look at it that way."

I just blushed, feeling flustered. "I never looked at it that way."

Steve, Physical abilities

I was somewhat surprised by Jez's offer. It’s not like I’m antisocial and I’m friendly with pretty much everyone in the circus but people rarely actually spent much time with me outside of working around the circus or in a larger group. I guessed that I was probably a sort of last resort with everyone else gone. I didn't really care though, hanging out with someone would be better than anything else I could think of. “Sure,” I say, “anywhere specific in mind? Don’t worry about cost, I’ll cover it.” Before she has a chance to protest, I quickly add, “I never have anything to spend it on anyway, this will at least ensure that it’s used well.”, I flash a quick smile. "So, do you actually have anything in mind?" I ask again.

I sigh when he says he is going to pay, but before I can say otherwise he ask me where I wanted to go. "I am paying next time." I say. "It does not matter to me where we go. We can just walk around until we see something we like."

"Sure, that's fine with me." He says. I smile and we walk out of the tent and walk into the town. The streets are filled with life. We walk past a few places, not really wanting to go there.

"Where do you want to go?" I ask him.

"Where ever you want to go is fine." He says.

"Stop being hard headed and tell me." I say nudging him with my elbow, smiling.

Kili, emotional manipulator,

I smile to myself as I walk back through downtown and into camp. Finally, I can exercise my powers on Falwell, and presumably whatever other agents he intends to send when the plan is put into action. I look around at all of the normal people in the town, doing their normal things, unaware that they have been infiltrated by freaks. I have an almost uncontrollable urge to use my powers on them, but I restrain myself. That will happen later, when all of my cohorts ave been put safely out of the picture. I giggle to myself.

When I get back to camp, I'm the only one there. I head straight for the girls' tent and flop on my bunk. I pull out my iPod and start listening to Led Zeppelin, nodding my head along to the beat. My thoughts drift to the coming conflict. Nef is well on her way to starting her rebellion, and Nick has no idea about it. If he should find out, well, that would be interesting. I grin up at the canvas ceiling.
I think that it's high time Nick learn of the coming battle.

The rest of the night with Chaos seemed like a blurr, we went out dancing, bar hopping, even went to club or two dance at. Yea I had to fry a few guys that tried to push me away from chaos so they could have me to themselves, but all and all it was a great night with him. We eventually make our way back to camp, Chaos held me in his arms as we came in, we went over to the girls tent, and we kissed just outside of it. We both were smiling greedily at each other, but eventually we part and I go into I had the very middle section of the tent. Mainly for when I got to let my power off, all excessive power, I sat down on the may I normally laid on, cross legged, I went into a meditative state. In which I would begin to glow a bright blue light, some use this time to read or write, or do anything they need a nightlight for. I could never see it myself, but others have told me that they have seen it, it takes some time before I've worn off enough of the excessive electricity. It's during this time in which I begin to plan, my thoughts collecting, dismantling, and construct what I need to do next, it is in this state I am most powerful, I can hear everyone's thoughts around me. But Kili, had plans of her own, I could hear them during the night, she's been plotting against me all along. I crush the thought of using Kili to control Steve, and construct a new one, to deal away with Kili, I snap out of my state, the light around me dims and stops.

"Kili, come here." My voice just loud enough for hear.
