Circus Outcast (closed/started)

Okay...this is kind of a retake of an earlier storybook me and my friends made...

Traveling across the countryside, not too far into the future, there is a circus, simply known as the Circus Outcast, which is run by orphaned teens. They all have special powers, the reason that they have banded together. The Outcasts, as they call themselves, do not know their true origins, although, this will come into the plot...
The Outcasts are a troubled group, and they are constantly on the run from the authorities (they are strange, empowered teens, after all). There is also dissent from within, as there are some nice Outcasts, and some...not-so-nice ones. The not-so-nice ones believe that they should use their powers to dominate normal people, while the nice ones are opposed to this idea, to some extent. These groups will EVENTUALLY clash.
But that's not all. For, unbeknownst to the Outcasts, the authorities are not just chasing them because they're underage. No, something much more sinister is behind that, which the Outcasts will find out all to soon.

Why are all of the Outcasts teens? Why is the government so interested in them? And can the Outcasts of good keep their evil companions at bay?

The authorities are closing in. Fights are breaking out among friends. And unknown to everyone involved, something is about to happen that will change the world forever...

Name: Nick

Age: 17

Power/Act: Can teleport himself and other objects he touches to any place he has been before, a co-founder of the circus, magician.

Appearance: Medium height, bright red hair, huge mass of freckles, pointy nose, green eyes, always wears a bright red shirt and jeans, with Converse and a black top hat.

Personality: Talkative, but knows when to shut up, tries to be friendly with everyone, strongly dislikes killing, generally positive, but prone to fits of sarcasm.

Weaknesses/Strengths: If he has to use weapons, he teleports things to make the enemy mess up, he can also use a sword very well, he always listens to everyone's point of view before voicing his opinion, he will not leave anybody behind if they are in danger, even if it means risking his own life.

Likes: All types of food, talking, laughing, being the center of attention, friends, his violin.

Dislikes: people who bring others down, cold, being sad.

Other: Up for love.

Name: Kili Joy

Age: 15

Power/Act: She can change and influence people's emotions, she can make them sad, happy, jealous...murderous, any emotion you can think of, she is the member of the circus who sells tickets and takes tips, something she can do very easily by making people feel very generous...

Appearance: She is small and blonde, with murky blue eyes and a face reminiscent of a fox, she always wears an old white tee-shirt and faded jeans.

Personality: She is clever and sly and always works to her own ends, she just stays with the circus because it's best for her at the moment, she can kind of fade into the background and listen, figuring out what everybody is doing, she can be a vicious fighter (archer), but she usually just makes her opponents feel very friendly towards her.

Weaknesses/Strengths: She can only influence a person if they are unaware and unprepared for that kind of mental invasion, everyone who knows her in the circus always has mental barriers up to block her, she's a good fighter when cornered, and typically has a bow and a sheath of arrows near at hand.

Likes: Making people do stupid things, laughing when they do, making scathing comments, ripping people off, people not noticing her.

Dislikes: People resisting her, people insulting her, quietness, peace.

Others: Up for love, but you'll probably never get her.

Name: Mark and Matthew (respond to the names Chaos and Tamer, respectively)
Age: They're 19-year-old twins
Power/Circus Act: They're both telekinetic at a basic degree, but are often found at the trapeez where they keep a look at for people from above their heads. This is because they're not at all afraid of heights.
Appearance: The boys are so alike in appearance, one might think at first glance that one of the boys was looking at a mirror. Their hair is waist-length and a blazing red, but their eyes are hard blue and they stand as high as five-foot-ten-inches. They wear black from shoulders down to their toes - skintight shirt with pants to match - and often smiling like they mean it or not. The difference between Mark and Matthew is that Mark has this mischievious glint in his eye and tends to smirk - letting his twin know that he's up to something.
Personality: Although alike in appearance, they clash in personality. Mark is more of the evil twin type of person and can be chaotic when it comes to his pranks. Both he and Matthew are talkative, but Mark tends to ramble and doesn't seem to know when to clam up. Matthew's more of a person with the sense of order. He's always the one having to clean up Mark's mess, much to Matthew's dismay. However, their clashing personalities actually balance the twins out and they can stand up for friends when they get around to it.
Weaknesses/Strengths: They share the same weakness - which is they're not at all fond of water. One might believe that the boys can't swim, but nobody knows. Mark loves to prank and cause a little chaos from time to time while Matthew likes to keep things in order, although he doesn't mind having a laugh every now and then. However, Mark's got a temper that no one wants to see. Pick on Matthew and Mark's in range, the latter's gonna cause a lot more chaos than his twin would allow him to. They're also masters of using sais, their personal favorite weapons.
Likes/Dislikes: Mark's a prankster, so he enjoys some chaos and a good laugh. He doesn't like it when someone messes with Matthew - something Mark considers his own job, since Matthew's his twin brother. Mark is also a flute player, but only plays it when he's sure it's just him and Matthew. Matthew likes a few laughs, but keeps a sharp eye on Mark so he wouldn't take his pranks too far. Like Mark, Matthew's also a muscial person, but his instrument is a piccolo. When these boys play their instruments, it expresses their innermost feelings. They're not quite open about their feelings, so they play when they're sure they're alone and even though everyone else is listening.
Other: They're available for love, if you want a prankster or semi-neat freak for a lover.

Name: Jezebel Martin (Jez)

Age: 15

Power/Circus Act: She is a healer and she is an acrobat. Pain can come easily to an acrobat. It very easy to to tear a mussel get bruises or break a bone. She can heal you by look at the wound, but it is just for the time being. Healing is more affective when you are touched.

Appearance: She has light red hair that is usually tied in a bun. She has green and pale skin. She stands about 5 feet and 7 inches tall. She wear very elaborate make-up when she is preforming. She wears a leotard top and black yoga pants. She is also very lean and very fit.

Personality: She is a perfectionist. She like to be outstanding all of the time. Jez is a show off on stage, but is completely the opposite when she is not. She is very calm and sweet. She loves hugs and is very reliant on other people. She is also very innocent and hates when people get upset. She likes when everyone is getting along, which is rare.

Weaknesses/Strengths She is very strong and flexible. She is good with people and is always ready on her feet. She is very selfless and that can often get her hurt. She is not good alone. That is something she is trying to overcome.

Likes/Dislikes: She loves to sing and dance. She loves to be close to people. She hated when people are rude people and cannot stand a liar.

Name: Steve Crepsley

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Power/Act: His power is an all around boost in physical abilities, although he isn’t very thickly built he can lift things that weigh more than him, he can out run even Olympian runners and has heightened senses. Also not an actual power but he can hide extremely well when he wants to. He is one of the founders of the circus and an old friend of Nick’s. Sets up and is in charge of supplies and the like.

Appearance: Tall, short brown hair, light brown eyes, a somewhat dishevelled and unkempt appearance, wears just jeans and a t-shirt and a good quality, though slightly worn out hooded black coat for bad weather.

Personality: He is very kind but usually come across as cold to strangers because he is very quite around people he doesn't know and even around friends he doesn't talk a huge amount. When he chooses to do something it’s because he thinks it’s right and is willing to do what needs to be done to accomplish that. When he does talk he is either, serious and just gets straight to the point, or very care free and doesn't really take anything really seriously, depending on his mood.

Strengths/Weaknesses: His senses can get overpowered if it’s too loud, bright ect. A major night Owl, stays up late most nights and sleeps in just as late. Is very protective of his friends. Spaces out sometimes and loses track of time.

Likes: Company and solitude depending on his mood, relaxing, hunting (which he does from time to time), sleep.

Dislikes: Being tired, his friends in pain, being forced to do something, people trying to get him to talk.

Other: Up for love.

Name: Olivia Pennington (Her nickname is Livy, she has no stage name but her act name is called Pegasus)

Age: 17

Power/Circus Act: She can converse with animals. Her act within the circus is vaulting- Gymnastics on the back of a moving horse. Her horse is an Irish Draft named Tempest.

Appearance: She is VERY tiny- only 4'10” she has a womanly figure- but toned due to her line of work. Her hair is long- to her hips and a mousy brown- nothing out of the ordinary. Her eyes are doe like and dark brown.

Personality: Olivia is in a word- Maternal. She is the mother of the circus- offering her support, care, nurturing and heart with everyone around her. She's still very innocent about life even though her past, she's optimistic, cheery and always sees the silver lining to every raincloud. That being said Olivia is very mature and can be the cool head in crisis. She handles it well. All in all she is a motherly little thing who carries her big heart in her hands.

Weaknesses:Her weaknesses are her innocence and her willingness to trust people- it can get her into VERY bad trouble. her big heart is a double edged sword- it is a strength but also a very keen weakness that can leave Olivia very hurt.

Strengths Olivia's strengths are her cool head, big heart and optimism. She's also very soft footed and can sneak up on almost anyone. She's also quite a bit smarter then most give her credit for.


Likes: Peace, Olivia doesn't like confrontation. She also likes a good laugh and time with her friends. Her favorite foods are chocolate milk, Pizza, and those sour cream and onion chips. Her favorite kind of music is anything with a good beat and she can dance too- she also loves flowers an keeps a small African violet plant in a pot and takes it with her as the circus travels.

Dislikes: Fighting, Rap music and anything containing mushrooms

Other: Olivia has a very fine singing voice- she is a first soprano, she is up for love and is very much straight. Olivia also has a small hand gun hidden in her trunk and two clips for it. She's only had to use this once and that was in the air to scare away would be thieves of her horse two years ago.

Olivia is a newcomer to the Circus- only been a member for a few weeks and is still trying to figure out how to best fit in.

Name: Leona Feline
Nickname: Leo
Age: 17

Power/Circus Act: Leona is the Animal tamer and she can communicate with the animals easily.

Appearance: Auburn hair with copper highlights that look like flame when the sun hits it. She is skinny looks weaker then she actually is and a very bright smile. Her skin is the color of moonlight and her eyes are a tawny gold. She's considered gothic or emo if you prefer. She always dresses in black, blue, grey, and red. During her act she wears a black and red form fitting tuxedo with a black tophat with a red band.

Personality: Leona is very caring and loves animals, she is very easy to get along with and very spunky. Leona also has a temper she says that's because she's always talking to animals and she knows when they're angry. Leona is also a counselor among the Outcast's and tries to help all she can.

Weaknesses/Strengths: Weaknesses: As mentioned before she has a temper, when she sees one of the animals hurting it makes her angry, Leona is always more questioning of someone's motives longer then her other Outcasts.
Strengths: Leona's strengths are her calm, she always can make people laugh sometimes without meaning to, her compassion, her drive, and she's very easy to get along with.

Likes/Dislikes: Likes: Singing, music in general, animals obviously, she has a talent for drawing, painting, she can play the violin which she does when its between shows to earn extra money for the circus.
Dislikes: Cruel people, when someone insults one of the animals, cold, and sitting still.

Other: Up for love.
The animals she works with are: The wolves Romulus and Remus, the lions Apollo and Vulcan, the panthers Hades and Diana, the tiger Artemis and the leopard named Ares.

Looks good, everyone! I'm going to keep things open for at least another day, and then we can start...it also appears that the overwhelming majority of our characters are ginger

Name: Vesta Warren

Age: 16

Power/Circus Act: Can manipulate any form of fire and summon it at will. Her circus act is fire dancing. Training in many different forms of martial arts at a young age, she is a master when it comes to hand to hand combat.

Appearance: Has straight, jet black, hair that reaches her shoulders and has dark red eyes. Has a scar running through her left eye. She is about 5"5 and is skinny. On stage she likes to wear her hair up and has a red feather woven through it. She wears a red dress that reaches her lower thighs with a gold trim. She wears black high heels and black tights. Off stage she wears her hair down and wears her favorite leather jacket and black pants with black riding boots.

Personality: She always seems to be in her own world and is very distant towards others. She doesn't speak much and when she does its usually something sarcastic. She's very smart when it comes to strategics and hates to lose.

Weaknesses/Strengths: Shes is weak against any form of water and the cold. She is strong around any form of heat or fire.

Likes/Dislikes: She loves nature and is very fond of animals. She doesn't like being talked down to and she hates to lose.

Name: Neftali "Nef" also "Queen of Lightning" Jarmon

Age: 16

Power/Circus Act: Electrokinesis, is able to short circuit power lines, overload a generator with to much electricity, also has a huge amount of control over her power, which allows her to create huge balls of electricity.

Appearance: Nef can be considered an emo, sort of, she wears a lot of dark blue and black. She can also be considered sexy, mainly because of how she dresses during her act. Nef normally wears all black during her act, outside of her act, she wears baggy stuff, during her act she wears tight black pants with a belt, and strapless black chest guard. Outside of her act she wears sweats, sweatshirts, and a bunch of other stuff, but she's heavy with the make up during or outside of her act.

Personality: Nef is normally to herself, she can take care of herself. She has the power, and ways of getting what she needs. Neftali loves her act, mainly the feel of her costume and the eyes that see her, but she's not a slut, or a whore, but she likes to feel sexy. But dominance is a priority for her, to have dominance she will use her power as she needs it, and with dominance comes an ego.

Weaknesses/Strengths: Nef is hard to read, no one can really tell what she's thinking. She's also dangerously smart, to the point of being a genius. If Lightning didn't make her dangerous, her mind will. She also has a temper for stupidity, do enough stupid stuff an it'll just invoke her wrath.

Likes/Dislikes: Nef likes intelligent conversations, someone who can actually keep up with her. Unfortunately she doesn't find many people like that to begin with, she also has a distaste for stupidity, anyone who acts like an idiot normally gets on her bad side. She likes pain to, very much, she's one of those people who consider pain, a pleasure. She's also very dominate in a relationship, but she'll admit to no one that she has grown tired of always being so, in charge.

Other: She's bisexual and up for love, but only if you can force her to take a backseat in the relationship. Also theme.
