Nic

I catch Jackie and drop to the floor beneath her, looking at Jace unable to speak. He swallows and moves behind me, taking on the job of looking after Halee.

"We'll try to get them to Ray," he whispers, "But... don't you feel powerless? From the moment I walked in here...something about me felt empty..."

Jackie

My lips going pale again, I keep uncontious. I still hear the giggles from the girl, someone else walking in.

"What's up with these creepy little kids?" the person complains, "A little girl yelled at me to get out before I ran up here..."

Rayah!

Edge

I walked into the room and looked at the people in the room. "Did I miss anything?" I said awkwardly. They all looked at me like I was a snowman with dynamite for eyes.

Jace looked at me and whispered, "Who are you?"

I laughed. "You must be joking. I'm Edge, remember?"

"No." He said slowly.

I frowned. "We have a lot to talk about, then."

Nic

I look at Rayah and bring Jackie closer to her, Jace following slowly with Halee, "Help her. Now. Please."

Just as I finish, a guy comes in and, after Jace questions him, assumes we all know who he is.

"How... What the hell are you doing in my house?" I ask, slightly on edge.

Jackie

Too much people in the room for me to handle, I start freaking out mentally. Rayah comes to my side and checks me over.

Edge

I looked at Nic. "Why, I live here, well used to anyway." I smiled, but he still looked furious. "You really don't know who I am? I have been gone for longer than I thought."

Nic

How could he... "No, I don't know who you are. How about you fill us in?"

Jackie

Rayah tries to heal me but her powers won't work, she informs Nic before glancing around, swallowing.

Edge

I sighed. "It's a lot to explain, but I'm from the past. Kind of. I went back into the past to deal with...things and now I'm here. But I think I overshot it a bit and I'm in a different reality, one where you guys don't know who I am."

I looked at him and smiled sheepishly, "With me so far?"

Nic

I swallow at what Rayah says before focusing on what the other guy is saying, "So far..."

Jackie

My lips growing blue again, a chill runs down my spine and Rayah studies the new guy before looking back at me.

Edge

I looked between Rayah and Nic. "I heard a thud and came up here by the way. Is there anything I can do to help?" I asked, looking at Jackie. Her lips started turning blue.

"Um, is that normal?"

Nic

I glance down at Jackie again and swallow, my eyes flickering to my daughter Jace is holding before I look back at the guy, "No... it's not. She was... possessed earlier... twice... and hasn't been awake since."

Jackie

Rayah sets my head in her lap carefully before checking my pulse.

Edge

"Possession?" I said, getting skittish. "How long has this been happening?" I looked behind me just to be sure.
