Jace

Once composed, I pull back onto the road and continue home. I park the car and get out, finding Nic at the front door when I get there. Ignoring him, I walk in and upstairs to change.

"You're being such a baby," he mutters, following me inside but going into the living room instead.

Rayah

Nic walks into the living room to us and Jackie flashes a smile, "Hey."

Nic

I plop beside Jackie and flash a smile back, "'Ello. I almost killed my brother. He's pissed now. I feel bad for his children. No offense, Rayah."

I smile and nod, Rayah shrugging as I run a hand through my hair, "Smooth."

Nic

I nod, studying Rayah, "I find it hilarious how you completely disregarded the fact that I nearly killed him..."

Jackie

I lean against him and Rayah bites her lip, "But he's fine..."

Nic

I think and look down at Jackie, "Would you do what she did or would you flip out at Jace if he did what I did?"

Jackie

I shrug, "It depends if your hurt or not..."

Nic

I sigh, "Wow... Okay then."

Jackie

I nod, "Yeah," I sigh, "Sorry."

Nic

I shrug and shake my head, Jace coming back down but walking into the kitchen to start dinner. Hehe. He's the slave in this house. So whipped...

Jackie

I sigh and watch Jace, Rayah playing with her nails. I look at her, "How was it?"

"Good," She smiles, "Wanna see?"

I nod and she takes out her phone, showing me her email and her photos. Smiling, I take her phone from her, "Wow. I like that bathing suit... S'adorable."

She nods, "I got to keep them."

I glare at her playfully.

Nic

I look at the photos and raise my eyebrows, quickly handing the phone back and whispering, "Don't show Ja those. He already thinks modeling is sleazy. He wouldn't let you leave the house if he saw those..."

Rayah

I frown and nod slowly, slipping the phone in my pocket.

Nic

I study her. I should probably defend Jace, shouldn't I? "He... he just thinks that it's selling yourself... if that makes you feel any better. He has a reason. But he doesn't want to stop you from doing what you want, hence his silence towards it..."
