Nic walks in, despite the fact I'd locked the door, and sits on my desk with his legs crossed. I just stare at him for a few moments, waiting for him to move. He initiates the staring contest and rests his head on his hand.
"What are you doing here?" I ask, "No, wait, better question: how did you get in here?"
He shrugs, glancing at Rayah and Ella.
