Rayah

I shake my head at him, "So weird."

Jackie flashes in and I shut up, her glaring at me before complaining, "I can't find my phone...so if you call me or something and I don't answer, that's why."


I nod and she yawns before looking at Nic, "Same for you."

Jace

Nic looks at her, "Yeah, but I have other ways to contact you. I'll be okay."

I look up from my computer and at everyone, wondering why today of all days they all decided to tag along to work with me.

Rayah

She dissapears again and I sigh, checking the time, "Gotta go."

Jace

Nic stays put, looking at his hand for some reason, and I glance at Rayah, sighing, "Okay. Just... keep covered... and I still don't like people touching what's mine, so... keep that in mind, please."

Rayah

Keep covered? Uh...

I frown, "But today is the swimsuit shoot..."

Jace

Nic points at me and laughs before I bend light to tie him up and knock him off my desk.

"Then... don't touch other guys," I tell Rayah, "Please."

Rayah

I nod, "Promise."

Jace

I nod and kiss her quickly, Nic jumping up from the floor and sending a gust of light in my direction. I merely pause time, absorb the light, and then resume, looking at him with a challenging expression.

Rayah

I smile and kiss him back, leaving a soon as possible with Ella when they go at it.

Jace

Nic glares at me before getting an idea and smiling excitedly, "Oh! Oh! Jae, we shouldn't work here! We should be, like, professional a*s-kickers!"

I slam my forehead into my palm and stand, pushing him out the door.

Rayah

I drop Ella off before heading to work.

Jace

I sit back behind my desk and attempt to work, blocking out all other distractions.

Rayah

I do the photoshoot before heading home after a few hours.

Jace

I finish and head home, Nic flashing in the passenger seat halfway there and scaring the sh*t out of me. I swerve and barely miss an SUV on the other side of the road, my heart racing. Frozen, I catch my breath and glance at him.

"You. F**king. Idiot," I breathe, releasing the death grip I have on the steering wheel.

"I...woo," he flashes a smile and looks out the windshield, "Uh... I didn't mean that. I was just going to ask you something."

"What?" I ask.

He furrows his brow before frowning.

"I forgot."

I glare at him.

"Bye," he says before flashing out.

Rayah

I take a deep breath and plop on the couch, my sister watching the kids. Jackie flashes to me and chuckles before smiling. I look at her, "You tired?"

She shakes her head and plops next to me, "Nah."
