Shaun

Alright. No matter how weird this was, I had to admit the bunny was cute.

"That is one of the most adorable things I've ever seen," I said to Koitsuki, completely deadpan. "I'm Shaun, and I'm half angel. With uncontrollable elemental powers. I would not advise giving me matches or lighters right now."

I don't trust Shaun but if we are gonna get stuck together might as well keep him on my good side, if there were 10 of us and no one else was coming we were put here all together for a reason

"I-it's um nice to meet you" I said to Shaun as Kikas smiled happily watching the butterflies fly around.

Veeren

"Um, I'm Veeren. I don't really know what you guys mean by other half. I'm a human. And my power? Well I, uh, protect people. I think. I'm not really sure."
My face felt hot.
I looked at the girl with the guitar, then at the one with the animal in her hand. Everyone was weird here. For some reason I couldn't shake the feeling that we were all the same in some way.
I just knew that I made the right choice when I ran away.

I stay pretty much silent as everyone starts introducing themselves. After a while I start to feel a little relieved that I ended up here because for once in my life I’m not the only “different” or “weird” one.

These people, they’re like me. Not your average teenagers.
At that I even manage to smile as I nod and introduce myself.

“Um… Hi. I’m Ash. I’m kind of… a shape shifter I guess. A dragon shape shifter,” I pause looking around the circle, noticing the expressions of the others, “as for powers well… I’d say it’s something to do with death…”
I shake my head waiting for someone else to talk. Feeling a little more awkward teenager then “powerful dragon girl.”

At that thought I almost smile. This could almost feel normal.

Shape shifter? Now that sounded cool.
Death? Now that sounded terrible. So terrible it almost filled me with rage. Does that mean she's killed people? Innocent people? Or what if she was like me, but instead of protecting the good people, she killed the bad ones? But no, her eyes. They were golden. Looking into them, I really wanted to believe that she couldn't hurt a fly.
But then again, did she say... dragon?
How could this new place make me feel so confused and so good at the same time?
Looking to put my mind at ease, I asked her, "Can you fly?"

Holly

I wondered out of town on my normal walk but today I had some cloths in my back pack and some cash. Today I had a feeling that I had to find the place I dreamed of every night I was being pulled by some force I could not see but I know where it was leading me. After 20 minutes I came to the place from my dream but this time there were people there looking at me waiting for something to happen. I stood there for a moment the waved "hi I'm Holly nice to meet you" I said smiling.

I take a half-step out of the circle, waiting for somebody else to speak, to introduce themselves.

One of the boys- who I think said his name was Veeran -stares at me for a moment, and then asks “Can you fly?”
I smile at that, thinking of how I got away from the police earlier.
Come to think of it, flying is probably one of my favourite things about that side of me.

“Yeah,” I say, “I guess I can.”
Veeran nods, looking a little confused, just as another girl stumbles into the circle. "Hi,” she starts looking around at our little circle, “I'm Holly. Nice to meet you all."

Everyone else start to say hello, introducing themselves all over again.
I look towards the new girl and then glance back at Veeran, finding something oddly similar about them. Kind of like an aura or something.
Then someone asks “So what’s your power?” and a little strangely both she and I answer at the same time.
“Protection.”

I smile a little. Pretty good for a hunch.

“How did you know?” she asks and I shrug, “Just a hunch… I’m Ash by the way.”

Everyone begins now to mention their powers and I finally decide to answer. "Well guys, I think I might be a little exempt fromthis question. I don't know much about me at all. All I know is my name and very little else. I think I might have the Life power, because I have accidentally healed small animals on my way here. Now the bigger question I had was this. WHY ARE WE HERE???" Now a bit anxious to hear why. Suddenly, a loud booming voice was heard, and it made itself known. Noone could tell what it was, where it came from, or why. It may have been a demon, an angel, or even a god/the God themselves. Now we eagerly heard the voice.

Voice:

"I am the one who brought you all here. I gave everyone here a vision was supposed to be followed, and so it was. The only issue, 1 person got kidnapped along the way and one suffers extreme amnesia. I brought you here to send you on a series of quests that may ultimately save the world, or at the least train your powers to the point were you can make use of them in a way to help the world. Your first "quest", if you will, is to free the kidnapped male. The journey will be long and hard, but it will be important. The girl is important for 2 reasons and the reasons will be evident shortly. You are currently in a field of Kansas. The simple thing to do is to follow your guiding spirit to the location. It will bring you straight to him, so don't worry about figuring out were you are. Thank you. Now get to work."

"Gleep. Loud freaking voice why? Why is there a loud voice?" I said and Edgar landed on my shoulder nuzzling underneath my chin trying to console me. 'Calm yourself.' He said inside my head. 'I'll try Edgar.' I replied and stroked along the top of his skull. "Umm and mysterious voice we can't go anywhere not everyone has introduced themselves." I said feeling a bit more bold because I had Edgar with me.
"You are without a doubt, the worst pirate I've ever heard of."

"But you have heard of me."

I felt like I knew the voice. It had a familiar ring to it. For some reason I just knew we could trust it.
I looked towards the girl that had said she had the power of protection, then at the dragon girl.
"I think we should go," I said, hoping everyone would hear me, "This... voice... is telling the truth. I can feel it."
I could tell not everyone believed me, but why should they?

I stand in the circle, listening to the voice telling us what we have to do and for once I don’t know what to do. Something about the voice seems familiar. Like I know it from somewhere. But then again I could just be paranoid.
Maybe I should just leave…
Just them Veeren speaks up. “I think we should go. This… voice is telling the truth. I can feel it.”

How do you know? I want to ask, “How could you possibly know that?”
But I don’t. For once I just stay silent, trying to think.

Some of the others are a lot more vocal but I just shake my head trying to block out their voices.
Veeren seems to know what he’s saying and the voice did seem somewhat familiar… but what if it’s just a trick. A trap. What if after this they send me home?

I don’t want that… but then again what else do I have to do? I just got run out of the only real “home” I ever knew and now I’m on the run.
"We were all obviously brought here for a reason, whether we know it or not. We might as well listen to this voice thing and try to figure out why,” Veeren adds and I, along with a few others, find myself nodding.
I let out a sigh, looks like I just agreed to go on some sort of weird “quest.”

“It does seem kind of rational to listen,” I add, “and maybe if we rescue this chick we can figure out why we have powers.”

"Well the should we get going or something?" I asked looking around the circle. some of them nodded there head and some still looked not sheer if this was still real. I just walk away starting to feel uncomfortable for some reason so when i got to a oak tree I sat down and tried to start breathing again. But before I could do anything i was sucked into a blackness that I was very use to.
I was slipping into my dream but this time it was different I was low to the ground on all for. I looked down and saw fur not skin I was so shocked. why do I have fur all over my body I was thinking. a voice said you know some of your heritage that may help you find what you can do"
Then i wake up and everyone was still there talking among them selfs to see what everyone was going to happen. i walked back and listened

'At least they're listening' I thought to myself.
But that girl, I think her name was Holly, was right. What were we supposed to do? It's not like we had a map. The voice said that we'd feel where to go. Well I wasn't really feeling anything. Nothing special at least.

I was about to say something, when I spotted something out of the corner of my eye. It was up in the sky. A figure, no, a presence. I didn't really see it, it was almost transparent, I... felt it.

"There!" I yelled and pointed to the sky.

I looked around and everyone was looking where I pointed, but they all looked confused. I was sort of disappointed. But the feeling was growing stronger, and I didn't want to lose it.

"Come on guys!" I yelled and took off after the thing in the sky.

Siris:

I also felt the presence, and I followed there lead. I knew this "voice" was right. I decided to follow. I didn't have anything to say until I noticed something. It felt like something physically bad, like a magical predator, was ahead. I quickly yelled, "EVERYONE STOP NOW. Theres something bad up ahead. It feels like a predator. We need someone who can fly to get up there and scout out the path now. About a 2 mile radius for those who fly fast would be great. Staying in the sky at hearing distance to hear for calls of warning afterwards would make it better."
