Plot:

Ancient Greece The time of the gods, when myth magic and legend flourished. When heroes went on great quest, battled ferocious monsters. A time when immortals left their mark forever in the course of history.

Then something changed. One after the other, they vanished. Leaving nothing but a breath of wind in their wake. Only the stories remained to show they had been there.

Even gods can die. But not forever...

2012 New York City December 21, the ancient Mayan prophecy heralding the end of the world, or the end of an era. For at the stroke of midnight the gods begin to return to our world, magic returns. Reincarnated in mortal form, one by one they reawaken to their past lives.

But something is hunting these newborn deities. Whatever destroyed them in the first place lives once more. And it is hunting them.

Appearance- She has crimson red eyes with light black eye shadow, she has tanned skin almost a golden tan. She has black hair with streeks of red in her hair, she wears a gray sometimes pure white or pitch black shirt. with a black leather half jacket, and tattered faded gray jeans and fading white sneakers.

Personality- Haylee is a naturally hateful girl with a tough persona and easily menacing look to her, but she does have a more gentle side to her once you get to know her. Otherwise she has a very cold exterior, and will barely talk to anyone unless prompted to. She also has a lot of friction between the Poseidon and Zeus incarnates, its mainly due to there past lives as gods and brothers.

History- (In this life, not the previous) Haylee was brought up an only child and without a father, who had left her mother long before she was born. Her mother did her best to care for Haylee between her two jobs, she lost her mother to thugs mugging her for money. She lost her life because the thugs decided to kill her anyways, Haylee was put into an orphanage and grew up on the streets of New York.

She was mistreated in the orphanage, she had no friends in the orphanage because of her menacing look that she didn't even mean to have. She was called "demon girl", "otherworldly", a menace to society. She was then taken to a foster home that she didn't like, it was far to bright and much to cheery for Haylee. So she had run away at the age of ten but it only lasted a week until Haylee was caught and taken back to the home she hated, having to stay there Haylee was dressed like a princess, a very angry princess.

At the age of sixteen, Haylee decided it was time to go back on the run. She dressed in a more comfortable outfit of her choice and set out, it wasn't until the fated day when the gods began to return. Haylee learned her soul was that of Hades, but thing was only select memories were given to her. Everything else was kept locked away, Haylee is now on the run, from now only child services but from monsters and other dangers of the world.

Powers- She has a Stygian iron sword in which she can summon the sword to aid her along with the staff she had in her past life. She has the ability to summon the undead in large numbers, but the worst she can do is summon Cerberus from the underworld to attack her enemies.

Appearance- Noah has short, but curly golden-blonde hair and a fair, almost bronze complexion. His eyes are hazel, but he has golden rings around his pupils and specks of the same color scattered throughout the green portions. Noah is average height with a slight musular build, but doesn't like to show that off, unlike the god he once was. He prefers to wear cut-off t-shirts or tank tops underneath a charcoal jacket with light jeans and black combat boots. He also has a black inked tattoo of the sun on the belly of his wrist.

Personality- Noah has a split personality. Like his incarnate, he's extremely artistic and musical, though he doesn't show it to anyone he doesn't know. Noah is playful around the company he keeps, but is serious at times too. He's proud like Apollo, but generally underminds his accomplishments and wants. He doesn't like being forgotten or left behind, but at times he fades into the background without realizing it. When wronged, he's extremely petulant and tends to make a fool of himself. He's only warlike on occasion, but is a fearless fighter and cunning strategist when serious-minded. Unlike his incarnate, he doesn't think of himself twenty-four-seven and often wonders what happened to the rest of his family after full separation. He also can't stand seeing people hurt or in harm's way.

History- Noah was born to a broken family. His father was a workaholic with dark secrets Noah wouldn't come to understand until after a certain age; His mother was a caring but stern woman who wanted nothing more but the best out of Noah and his twin sister. At age ten, Noah watched the couple go through a nasty divorce of which his mother wanted no part in. His father had remarried not even days after the final papers were signed and took Noah's sister as part of the deal.

Noah, it seemed, wasn't favored among his new stepmother, who wanted nothing to do with and finally convinced his father not to allow visits to him. His father revealed financial ties to crime and his stepmother revealed even more. Upon Noah's discovery, his stepmother hired a few mobmen to chase after him and his mother and to make sure they never spoke of it. Noah learned at an early age how to defend himself and his mother. But at twelve years old, Noah lost his mother to the chase and never saw her again.

After a year spent wandering the streets of New York, Noah was finally caught by social services and put into the foster system. He was bounced around from home to home, coming to enjoy screwing each one up, until finally being stuck in a Home for Troubled Boys. Here, he quickly rose to the top and expressed the conceited, proud, and childish side of him to all those his power shadowed.

It wasn't until the day the gods decided to return that he realized just how special he was. Snippits of the past exposed themselves to him in dreams and he began to question whether the soul inside him was even his. He became more withdrawn, yet even more prideful than before. After thought and research, Noah discovered that he contained the soul of the sun god, Apollo. After that moment, the world seemed to darken for him.

Powers- He has the ability of healing and reverse healing, the ability to summon light or heat comparable to a small sun (though this takes a lot out of him and he chooses to stay away from it unless needed), and the ability to foresee and predict outcomes.

Other- He's an outstanding archer with modern-day weaponry and has serious talent in music and poetry. Because of the fear to tint his image, though, he keeps these talents hidden and to himself. He doesn't have a bow and arrow on him, but keeps the weapon stashed somewhere only he knows about for easy access. He's up for love too, heterosexual.

Personality- Wild, proud and independent. With a reckless kind of courage and a terminal case of curiosity. Zack disdains all authority and is often getting dragged down to the police station for one stupid stunt or another. He's highly intelligent, some would say brilliant, graduating from high school at age fifteen, he's currently in his third year at NYU. Incredibly loyal to his friends. He has a temper, and a tendency to fly off the handle. Zack can be very vindictive when his sense of justice is aroused. A good friend, and a terrible enemy.

Ever since Zack awoke to his godhood he's been something of a head case. Not only is he the reincarnation of not one, not two, but three gods, err... make that goddesses. Sure he has some really nifty powers now, but he doesn't exactly appreciate memories of being a woman. And having three conflicting sets of memories is giving him a migraine. To make matters worst his past self, or is that selves? Don't get along with each other. If Zack doesn't get a grip on this situation the mental cat fights will send him straight to the psych ward.

History- Zack grew up the only child of a very wealthy but controlling couple. He realized very early on that his parents didn't really want a child, they wanted a clone. An inferior copy of themselves, and when he was born, he wasn't what they had ordered.

His parents handed him off to a revolving door of nannies, often taking off on long vacations and leaving Zack at home with a small handful of servants. The moment he was old enough they shipped him off to a boarding school, gave him a generous trust fund, and washed their hands of him. Zack has always had a sense of being alone, different from everyone around him. Now that he knows why maybe he'll actually be able to make some friends.

Powers- As the Incarnation of the Fates... err, Fate. Zack has some pretty cool powers, and some pretty scary powers, like the ability to decide how and when someone is going to die. Zack has done his research and is very wary of using any of his powers. After all, there's a reason the other gods walked on egg shells around the three sisters.

When they were three, the three Moirai were:
Clotho spun the thread of life from her distaff onto her spindle.
Lachesis measured the thread of life allotted to each person with her measuring rod.
Atropos (literally "unturning", sometimes called Aisa) was the cutter of the thread of life. She chose the manner of each person's death; and when their time was come, she cut their life-thread with "her abhorred shears".

In the Republic of Plato, the three Moirai sing in unison with the music of the Seirenes. Lachesis sings the things that were, Clotho the things that are, and Atropos the things that are to be. Pindar in his Hymn to the Fates, holds them in high honour. He calls them to send their sisters Hours, Eunomia (Lawfulness), Dike (Right), and Eirene (Peace), to stop the internal civil strife:

Listen Fates, who sit nearest of gods to the throne of Zeus, and weave with shuttles of adamant, inescapable devices for councels of every kind beyond counting, Aisa, Clotho and Lachesis, fine-armed daughters of Night, hearken to our prayers, all-terrible goddesses, of sky and earth. Send us rose-bossomed Lawfulness, and her sisters on glittering thrones, Right and crowned Peace, and make this city forget the misfortunes which lie heavily on her heart.

Name- Jake Halligan

Age- 16

Gender- Male

Incarnation- Poseidon

Appearance- Average height, 5'11, weighs about 105 Ibs, White hair and Blue tips/bangs. Usually wears "I <3 Coffee" Shirts. Blue skinny jeans. Black sneakers. Has two bracelets, one on each wrist, that lets him remember his parents, who passed away in a drunk driving accident.

Personality- Jake is always silent, and never talks much. He will cry easily if he gets pushed down. If you taunt him enough, he will snap and drown you. HE keeps to himself, and once you get to know him, he will be talkative. He usually drinks coffee, just to stay alive. He got addicted to coffee when he was 7. If he doesn't have his caffeine, he will be cranky.

History- Jake was in the car during the accident that killed his parents when he was 5. They were flipped off a bridge and into a lake where they sunk. Jake was unharmed, and found out he could breathe underwater. There, he met his faithful turtle Cart, who has been with him since. (See Other). He lost his parents, and swore to kill the one who survived who killed his parents. By the time he was 6, he had killed the man and escaped prison time easily. He wandered around before training himself to use his powers to repent his sin.

Powers- Jake is able to most of the basic things like control water, breathe underwater, and be healed by water. Jake is able to do much more than that. HE is able to change the water's form, such as turning it to ice, turning it into steam, meld the water into clones or weapons, and other things. He can use the water as a habitat to sleep in and a force field simultaneously. He can make bubbles with the water, to hold air for others to travel with him underwater. Oh, he can also be in the water and not get wet, unless he wants to.

Other- Up for love?: Yes, bi. He has a talking, mystical turtle that can do it's own special powers. His name is Cart. More on his powers below.

Cart's Powers: Cart can talk, control water, move faster than a cheetah, and can grow or shrink in size.

Name- Sebastian Quinn
Age- 18
Gender- female

Appearance- About 5'5", short black hair, silvery eyes. Her hair is always neat and combed and her eyes are always piercing, as if she's constantly studying everything in front of her. Her figure is surprisingly muscular from her love of martial arts and her skill, but she rarely shows her body. Sebastian usually wears skinny jeans with a T-shirt or button up shirt and a crystal headband she always wears. The angles of her face are soft but prominent and her skin is a light olive tone.

Personality- Sebastian's nose has always been in a book, studying new material or reading about a new fighting style. She's always loved learning, and is quick to search for new information. She was the smartest in her class until the fifth grade, where her parents decided to homeschool to better cater to her individual progress. She's fairly kind and generous to people of all sorts, but she also knows how to get revenge and stand up for herself. She's very closed about revealing a lot about herself to other people, and doesn't open up easily or very much. She's a people person, even though she also doesn't mind to sit in a library alone for hours with nothing but books for company. She doesn't trust easily and sometimes has commitment issues. She's independent and hates being tied down by something she doesn't have an escape route from. When she fights, she tries to destroy her opponent psychologically and spiritually as well as physically. She's very determined and ambitious and won't let anything get in her way when she wants something, but she's also humane enough to make sure she gets it (mostly) morally. Sebastian believes that thought and the mind are someone's greatest asset.

History- Sebastian was born to two ordinary parents and three older brothers. Having the opportunity to do things first, they always outshined Sebastian, which she found annoying at times. At first, she turned to school because none of them shined in that stage of life, but then she found the books and schoolwork oddly comforting.

When her parents divorced, her dad and one of her brothers turned violent, so Sebastian taught herself many different styles of martial arts to defend herself. Fighting became her solace, but she was also disciplined and knew how to use her skill. Her violent home caused her to run away and live on the streets for a while, job hopping to make enough money to pay for the online schooling since she could barely afford the public schools in her area. Once she turned sixteen, she received a job as a journalist at an online blogging company and a few locally printed magazines and got herself emancipated. With the money she saved up, she pays for half the rent of an apartment with a co-worker from one of the local magazines. She's always wanted to be a renowed writer and is trying to get a writing position at a University so she can write for their research department.

She doesn't have many close friends, or people to open up to. Sebastian tries to respect everyone, but she also is aware of each status quo, and always calculating what to do if something happens. Thus, her mind is usually never calm or fully at peace.

Powers- She's very intuitive because of her constant thinking. She can't predict the future or anything, but she always gets gut feelings that point in one direction. However, she always tries to back up most of these feelings with facts, but she usually ends up following them anyway. She's very clever and can solve problems with ease. Although, she tends to overthink things sometimes, seeing them as more complex than what they really are. She can perform psychokinesis; however, her ability is very weak and she is trying to develop it. Her martial art skills are uncanny, and she's fairly agile. Her favorite style of fight is Ba Gua Zhang - the most nonviolent form of technique she's learned so far and the Northern Shoalin style - a fighting style with hard blows that requires extravagant execution to be performed properly.

Other- The crystal headband she always wears is from her mother. It was the last thing she gave her before she disappeared from her life. She also loves Vans. One of her brothers, Dan, always gives her a pair every year for her birthday and Christmas ever since he found out where she lived after she emancipated herself. She also wears a necklace with a pendant with a tribute to the Indian deity Saraswathi, the goddess of wisdom and intelligence because she loves the culture and their personification of the goddess. Up for love, heterosexual. She's not looking, but if it happens, she won't push it away.

Personality-
Much like his godly incarnate, Rhett is a natural leader. He's quick, decisive, and knows his way around different situations. His only flaw is that he often rushing into situations without consulting his other team mates. But he's quick to apologize if he does anything to harm the feelings of his friends. He tries to be as friendly as possible to people, and often fails to be as serious as he's supposed to be, becoming only as serious as possible when the situation demands it fully.

Rhett was raised in a foster home with a bunch of kids in New York, not ever knowing about his past. But his foster home was attacked when he turned 7, the only reason he survived was because of his protector Jess (a satyr) - She then told him about his past, and revealed all of his history to him. They trained in shadows at foster homes around the city until eventually she was killed in an accident. He keeps training now still, hoping one day he'll find another incarnate.

Appearance- She is very slim and small, she has red hair that has been cut short pixie like style. She has big brown eyes and a roundish face. She wears lots of dressed (usually red in colour) and lots of bracelets.

Personality- Rose is very sweet and wise. She is not one for fighting but will if need be. She is stubborn, passionate and has a very strong sense of fate and belonging. She believes that everybody belongs somewhere and that everybody is someone important. She is probably the most reserved of the Gods yet also is very passionate.
History- Rose grew up with her dad, her mum being killed in labour. Her dad looked after her for the first ten years then he had a mental breakdown and couldn't look after her any more so she moved in with her Grandparents. She liked it there but never felt like it was her rightful home. She decided to go back and live with her dad hoping that things would be all right. This was not the case.

Her dad was worse then she first and he ended up having to go to hospital to get help. This was when she ran away. She didn't get far before the Gods started awakening and she found out she was Hestia.
Powers- She has the ability to summon fire and appear in any fire place or fire as she wishes. She hardly fights but one she does she uses a dagger that sparks out flames, and don't underestimate her, she can get vicious. She also has the ability to transport you to where ever you consider your home is.

Appearance- Alyssa stands at 6'5", towering over nearly every boy she knows. Her hair is long and wavy and has dark blue streaks running through it. She usually wears it down, but occasionally she puts it up in a ponytail or messy bun. Her style of dress includes an interesting mix of layered tanks and patterned skirts. The clothes she wear stick out compared to how others dress, but she doesn't care. She's african american and has rather dark skin.

Personality- Alyssa is her own person. No matter what the norm is, she's usually against it. Like with her style of dress for example. She likes to stand out and be different. She's also a very outgoing person who wants to be friends with anyone and everyone she sees.

History- Alyssa grew up in a small town in the US before leaving for a large University on the opposite side of the country. She now resides in New York and attends college. She's the star of the track and field team and is also at the top of the medical field at her university.

Powers- great athletic ability. She's fast and strong. She also has the power to heal people.
