Okay, so this is my first Storybook on this site so I'm sorry if it's not perfect.


Plot:

You’re on a plane, headed to across the South Pacific Ocean.
16 hours in to the journey and suddenly the plane is being swarmed by panicked flight attendants. Announcing that suddenly there is a very serious engine problem and the plane is going down.
Less than 15 minutes later the lane crash lands into the water a kilometre of a strange island.
Half of the people on the plane die on impact and another quarter don’t get out in time and suffocate.
Only eleven people survive, yourself included, and using some kind of wood from the wreckage you all manage to make your way to the island.
There are no people, no sign that any sort of civilisation has ever lived there…
But there are animals; snakes, spiders, wolves, bears and all sorts of other creatures that could kill you all without thinking.
The waters surrounding this island are perilous- the water is consistently rough and the island is surrounded by hazardous rocks.
The island is separated into two parts- the Beach and the Forest.

Now your stranded on the Island and you, along with the others, have to learn to get along, survive and somehow find away to get off of the island.

Name: Alexis Chainnè- “Alex”

Gender: Female

Age: 18 years old

Appearance: Alex is around 5ft 5” with a petite build and naturally pale skin that never seems to tan right- no matter how long she stays in the sun (A fact she hates to death). From staying in the sun (and trying to get a half-decent tan) she managed to get a splattering of freckles across her nose. (She hates them despite her family telling her they look cute.) Her hair is a shade of dark brown with gold-ish undertones when she stands in the sun and when it is brushes out properly is falls around her waist in loose curls- most of the time she wears her hair up. (To keep it out of her face- although it usually manages to get in her face anyway.) Her eyes are somewhat small and appear the palest shade of green that can be seen (although when she is angry or excited they darken to a grassy colour) and are well proportioned on her face. She has delicate features and high cheekbones that give her a somewhat foreign-exotic even- look.
She loves to dress up and can usually get away with anything that she wears (those there are considerations to this..) but on an average day she can be seen wearing her favourite pair of self-customised ‘Pon and Zi’ Converse sneakers, some sort of denim on her legs and either an old band tee shirt (that she ‘inherited’ off of her older sister when before her sister left) or just a plain top with some sort of dangling jewellery. The one thing that never changes though is the small heart shaped locked that hangs on a small silver chain around her neck. (It has a flower engraved on the front and a tiny photo of er sister and her standing in front of their house in the middle.)- It was a gift from her sister right before her sister left three years ago.

Personality: Alex has a lot of different personality quirks all mixed into one. She’s a slightly competitive, quirky girl who always seems to be able to think of a question to ask (It was a habit she never really grew out of.) She has a certain penance for putting her foot in her mouth (which is one of the reasons she is often in difficult situations) but has also worked up a certain talent for being able to talk her way out of it. Alex can be a very stubborn girl and once she makes up her mind in can be either very hard or impossible to stop her from doing what she’s set her mind to. Most of the time she is very self-confident and assured but when she isn’t she tends to get a little angry, yell a lot and pretend like she is generally fine- despite this she would never intentionally really hurt somebody- unless they hurt her first. Around her really good friends and family though she can be sweet and incredibly loyal and tries never to let them down. She’s kind of shy around boys and finds it difficult to think of what to say.

Fears: Confined Spaces and Mascots

Likes: Alex likes music, running, photography, dancing, law, winning, her family, talking to people, music, and fire.
Dislikes: Alex dislikes losing, falling, confined spaces, mascots, clowns, scarecrows, drowning, ice and being alone.

Short Bio: Alex grew up with her grandparents and older sister in their country estate after her parents died when she was just six. (She doesn’t remember them all too well…) She went through a home-schooling course until she was 14 (which was when she insisted on going to a ‘normal’ school). She never really did fit in, but she never gave up and went back to home-schooling either. She always enjoyed photography and can play guitar and piano like a legend but dismissed those as just interests and has set her mind into going through law school like her parents did.
Why were they on the plane? She’s was heading overseas to visit family and have a bit of a holiday before she has to go to Law School.

Occupation: She’s heading towards her first year of Law School.

Name: Josephine "Josie" Ashby
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Appearance: Josie is quite tall, standing at six feet two inches, and has a thick, athletic build. She has evenly tanned skin, except for her feet, which have very obvious sock lines. There are also a few tan lines on her face, but these are very hard to see. She has light blue-gray eyes, and straight light brown hair, which she keeps in a low ponytail. She typically wears tees or jerseys, with denim or cargo shorts, and her favorite tennis shoes or cleats. She never wears makeup or jewelry. Often, her arms (and occasionally her face) are covered in bruises, from sports. Right now, she has a large bruise on her left shoulder, and a smaller one on the right side of her forehead. She is rarely seen without a baseball cap.

Personality: Josie is her own person. She loves to have fun, and she doesn't care what other people think of her. She can be competitive, and she loves all kinds of sports. She'll often challenge her sporty friends to little betting games (dodgeball for quarters, for example). She's very athletic, but is modest about her accomplishments. She tends to stay out of the spotlight, but she can actually be quite chatty, if someone else starts the conversation. She's eager and enthusiastic, and hates to miss out on something fun. She's incredibly loyal to her friends, and she always has a joke ready to cheer someone up. She doesn't have much of a temper, but if you make her angry, watch out. She'll use her size to her advantage, and she knows how to take a hit.
Fears: Injuries - not things like bruises (she likes/brags about them) but debilitating things, like broken bones.
Likes: Baseball/softball, football, frisbee, music, her iPhone, good food
Dislikes: the Wasps (rival high school team), jerks, snobby people, improv dance (she doesn't mind other people dancing; she's just not good at it), creepy people
Short Bio: Josie's parents are divorced. She lives with her dad, a sports doctor, in the suburban Midwest. Her only sibling is her ten-year-old brother, Jake. Josie is a junior at Greenbrook East High School, and she's hoping to go to a Big Ten school for college. She plays softball in the spring, and baseball in a community league during the summer and fall.
Why were they on the plane? Visiting her grandparents, who live in Australia.
Occupation: Star of the varsity softball team (catcher).
Up for Love: Yes, straight. But the guy will have to be obvious about it; she's pretty clueless.

Name: Zenna DeAngelo

Gender: Female

Age: 18 years old

Appearance: Zenna is around 5ft 7” with a lanky, almost too thin, frame; unusually pale skin and short (usually somewhat messy) straight blue-black hair. Her eyes are a dark, oceanic blue colour, usually surrounded by a rim of eyeliner and mascara. Her usual outfit consists of dark blue denim shorts, a black singlet top with some mention of a band on it, a denim vest, red converse sneakers and some sort of antique jewellery. She also likes wearing a LOT of eye make-up and red lipstick (occasionally).

Personality: Zenna is a bit of a mixed personality. (She has been since her mother died) She has bad mood swings and can be very happy one moment, turning angry or sad in the next second. She tends to form impressions of people very quickly and will stick to them to the end. She doesn’t often have a very good control over her emotions so if someone makes her angry she will probably launch out and hit them. Despite all that she can be very compassionate and helpful to people she likes, tries never to break her promises and has a definite loyal streak that will never go away no matter what. She also has a very sarcastic sense of humour that most people don’t often see.

Fears: drowning, dying, spiders and abandonment (though she’ll never let this on).

Likes: Zenna likes fighting, freedom, heights, flying, music, guitar, climbing and living.

Dislikes: Zenna dislikes losing, drowning, death, spiders, cobwebs, ice, abandonment, lies, people going back on their word and diseases.

Short Bio: Zenna is an only child. When she was 5 her parents got divorced and her father moved overseas. (She hasn’t seen him since although he often sent money to her mother and letters to her.) At first her mother was a successful journalist, making a decent amount of money therefore allowing Zenna to be sent to a proper school with everything she could need. Then when Zenna was 11 her mother was diagnosed with cancer. For a while the treatment she was getting appeared to be working so she got back onto her job again and life went on but a few years later (when Zenna was 16) the cancer reappeared and she began to get worse. Soon she was forced to leave her job because she was so ill. This made Zenna feel more responsible; she went out and applied for jobs eventually getting one in the local recreation centre where helped people with things like abseiling, rock climbing, canoeing, horseback riding and hiking. She got a decent pay for this and everything seemed to be looking up. But then her mother died and Zenna went on a downward spiral. (Who Wouldn’t?) She didn’t talk at all for a while but when she did she was usually angry. She even beat a few people up and got kicked out of school in her final year. Then her aunt (The person she’d been staying with) decided that she should get a new start in a new place, sending her off overseas to live with her dad.


Why were they on the plane? She was headed overseas to live with her dad after her mother died.

Occupation: Her last job was as a tour guide in the local recreational centre (she loved it there).

Name: Trey Williams

Gender: Male

Age: 30

Appearance: Trey has dark, Mediterranean coloring: olive skin, dark brown eyes, black hair, etc. He's about 6'5 with really broad shoulders. If only one word could be used to describe him it would be big. However, he's not extremely muscular. His hair is a bit overdue for a haircut (He forgot to get one). He has an intelligent face, but it's naturally serious. That coupled with his build makes him a formidable figure. After the crash, he has his uniform on, but in a normal situation he dresses very casually.

Personality: He's really intelligent. He's invented stuff before, like genius. If you give him something to do he'll find someway to get it done no matter what it is. It may take him a while to get around to it though. It takes him FOREVER to make a decision. He has to think every option out. He's a bit of a daydreamer and is very forgetful of social etiquette, living in his head. He'll be brash and rude without meaning to. He also misplaces things. He's prone to nerves and guilt whether he deserves it or no. The only place he's not jumpy is in the air. He enjoys conversation but doesn't feel comfortable beginning the conversation. He comes off as very serious but has a great sense of humor... in his head. He's slightly paranoid.

Fears: Being tied down (literally and figuratively), commitment, water, being buried alive, and slightly of germs

Likes: Books, philosophy, listening to people, classical music, options, and flying

Dislikes: Animals in general, having to make a choice, not having a choice to make, repetitive noises, annoying laughs, ropes, weddings, funerals, swimming, floaties, dirt, and illness

Short Bio: Trey decided he would be a pilot when he was seven years old, and he never changed his mind. His parents were the hands off type, working more than raising their one child. He, however, has been fairly happy alone. He almost got married once, but the woman left him at the alter which has made him cautious of relationships.

Why were they on the plane? He was the pilot.

Up for Love: Eh... Sure, but I don't want him to be a creeper, so no eighteen year olds hitting on the old man. Someone else would definitely have to make the move though.

Other: He's afraid he was the reason for the crash.

Name: Cherish (Cherie)

Gender: Female

Age: 25

Appearance: Cherish has short black hair that comes to her neck and is silky and shiny from her cherokee side. She has light milk chocolate skin and a curvy body. She is 5'3 and has always hated being short. She has dimples in both cheeks and a perpetual smile on her face. she has a beauty mark right below her left eye. Here eyes are a darkish warm brown and are wide and loving.

Personality: Cherish was adopted at a young age and loves her family dearly. She's sensitive and will cry at the smallest of things. She's usually happy and optimistic which people around her find annoying. She loves to help and meet new people and even when shes in a tight spot she can put a smile on anyones face. Shes a huge daydreamer and will phase out at any time.

Fears: Cherish's main fear is her fear of the dark and of people hating her. When she's had a particularly bad day and can't stand sleeping in her dark house by herself she usually drives in the middle of the night to her best friend Avery's house and sleep with her (she has a key since she does it so often) but its not as a lesbian way lol.

Likes/Dislikes:Cherish loves the warmth of sleeping with someone (not in a sexual way) and just loves the closeness. She loves sweet things like candy or fruit or juice or just anything sweet. And her all time favorite like is cooking and baking. Cherish dislikes mean people, rasists, and well thats it. She especially hates it when people mistaken her for being younger than she is.

Short Bio: Cherish is an open book. She's had a bad relationship life and doesn't trust guys much. She loves her adoptive family and even her drug addicted mother.
Why were they on the plane? Cherish had been heading to france to live there for a year to be a great chef. She had been looking forward to the trip her whole life.

Name: Elaine "Ellie" Carter

Gender: Female

Age: 22

Appearance: Ellie is kind of short and a bit chunky. She has shoulder-length, wavy, dark brown hair, and milk chocolate eyes. She wears glasses with oval-shaped, royal blue frames. She has very light skin with some freckles on her face.

Personality: Ellie is kind, but very shy. She doesn't like to talk to people she doesn't know, but she is the sweetest person you will ever meet, unless you do her wrong. Ellie is always singing or humming, but very few people ever get to hear it, unless she is performing because for some reason she is afraid of singing in front of only a couple of people, or people she knows. She is very intelligent, funny, and can be very sarcastic. She will do anything for anyone, if they need her to, but if they take advantage of her, she'll lose it. She also is somewhat short-tempered, sometimes getting set-off by the smallest things, but she doesn't always show it, being she is very good at hiding her emotions.

Fears: Spiders, dying, singing for small groups of people, singing for people she knows, sharks, abandonment, being taken advantage of, flying, (she was already freaked out by having to get on the plane, and this did not help) being taken advantage of, and messing up on stage

Likes: Music, reading, writing, animals, coffee, hanging out with friends, playing/watching hockey, movies, travel, (by car or boat) and performing.

Dislikes: Feeling abandoned, being taken advantage of, pain, (physical or emotional) flying, snooty people, and people who think they are better than everyone else.

Short bio: Ellie grew up in an orphanage, never having been adopted. Her parents didn't want a child so they dropped her off at the orphanage as a baby. She was fostered multiple times, the parents always promising to adopt her soon, taking advantage of her by making her do everything in the house to "earn" the privelage of being adopted, but always sending her back to the orphanage shortly after. Through school Ellie was always bullied, having only a few friends. She didn't let it affect her though, she followed her dreams, being in the drama club, and glee club, and writing for the school newspaper. She just graduated college in May, with a teacher's degree, as that is her plan B, majoring in history, minoring in music/drama and writing. She lives in a small apartment in New York City, with her two roommates, friends, and bandmates. She volunteers for and donates to the ASPCA, and is against bullying, pushing for an anti-bullying law.

Why were they on the plane: Her and her bandmates were on their way to a concert on a military base.

Occupation: Musician, (singer/ guitarist for her band) and 7th grade history teacher.

Up for love: Sure, she's straight.

Other: She's pretty shaken from the crash since she is scared of flying already, plus none of her bandmates made it. She also feels pretty abandoned, because her boyfriend of 18 months broke up with her right before she got on the plane. Plus, when she was a teenager her first boyfriend was abusive, she was deathly afraid of him and stayed with him for two years, he finally dumped her, but still contacts her all these years later, making her go out with him for about two months at a time, just so he can use her again, probably because he is bored, so she's apprehensive about getting in a relationship, and previous guys have taken advantage of how she tries to please them in fear she might get beat. (sorry, I should've put that part in the bio.) Right before the plane crashed she got a text from her old abusive boyfriend, that he wants to get back together again, he'll be on the soonest flight he can get on and will be at her concert. So she's really afraid for her life, especially if she isn't at the concert, he'll be mad at her for sure.

Name: Tebidiah Mckenzie (Teddy for short)

Gender:Male

Age: 19 years old

Appearance: He is really tall with a mass of thick golden shiny brown hair, intense sky blue eyes and a muscular build.
He has abs, and a bit of a crooked smile.
He always wears shorts.

Personality: Most of the time he is a fun guy to hang around. He loves to party, loves music, is generally a kind guy and he loves the outdoors.

Fears: Snakes and Camels

Dislikes: Snakes, camels, calimari

Likes:the outdoors, partying and music.

Short Bio: When he was little he was a pretty porr kid but he always wanted to be a billionaire.
Later on in life-when he was around 15- he made up his own business up called “ Ring”.
It was a movie company... which is the reason he is now a billionare and has met (and dated) a lot of famous stars.


Why were they on the plane? Because he was going for a holiday.

Occupation: He owns his own business and is a billionaire.

Up for Love: yep.

Name: Hunter Greydon

Gender: Male

Age: 23 years old

Appearance: Hunter is around 5ft 9” with an athletic- but not overly muscular- build (although he is pretty strong), evenly tanned skin from being out in the sun and short, cropped blue-black hair. He has intense icy blue eyes and a bunch of scars covering his body, which he mostly always covers in long sleeved tee-shirts and jeans. The most obvious scar is one he has is on his face, towards the left side, stretching from the top of his eye (narrowly missing it) to the top of his lip.
(It’s one of the most noticeable things about him.)
He generally has a solemn expression on his face but looks really handsome when he smiles.

Personality: Hunter is a usually solemn yet smart guy with an incredibly loyal streak and naturally brave side. He can be very kind but will always do ‘what has to be done’, especially when it comes to his job. He is very protective of his family and friends; never letting anyone- no matter how superior they may be- put them down. Since joining the army he is always overly cautious and just a little paranoid. He is a good listener and is good at comprehending and helping other people with their problems although once he dislikes somebody he will stick with that opinion. When he is angry he is a force to be reckoned with and will usually get what he wants. Apart from that he is always careful to be chivalrous to girls, whether they appreciate it or not.

Fears: Losing people he cares about, dying before he has a chance to do everything he said he would, fireworks (they sound too much like missiles to him) and explosions.

Likes: Sports, some types of music, writing, travelling, reading, his friends and family.

Dislikes: Fireworks, alcoholics, losing his friends and family, dishonest people, explosions and being helpless.

Short Bio: Hunter grew up in a dingy house with his alcoholic father and older brother James. They weren’t a very well off family, due to their Dad, and a lot was left desired for. When his brother James was 18 (he was 12 at this point) he enrolled for the army, wanting to help out his nation in any way possible and possible earn enough money so that he could provide for his little brother himself. 2 years later Hunter and his father got a message telling them that James had been shot while fighting in the front line and was dead.
His father having once been a solider himself (one of the reasons he took up drinking in the first place) pushed himself into action after hearing of his son’s death quitting the drink and trying to provide for his only living son, but Hunter always felt empty from the loss of his brother and swore to follow in his footsteps and accomplish the stuff his brother had wanted to do. As soon as he was old enough he quit school and joined the same army that his brother had before him and despite all that happened he never really regretted it… only some of the stuff he had to do and see.

Why were they on the plane? He was heading back to his post after taking a short (and probably the only one he can get for a while) leave from his job so that he could visit his family.

Occupation: He is a serving solider in the army (he has been for around 4 years)

Up for Love: Yes, he’s straight.

Other: Nope.

Okay everyone all the spots are filled so we will be starting on the 6th of September (Three Days from now), which is hopefully enough time for everyone to get their profiles in by and ask questions.

We'll start from when everyone is just boarding.

Alex Chainne

I sit in the Taxi, counting the time until we get to the airport, not sure whether I should feel nervous or exited.
Maybe a little bit of both…

A few minutes later the Taxi guy pulls up in front of the airport.
Here we go.
A little distractively I pull my wallet out of my jacket pocket, giving the Taxi man money and pulling out my suitcase.

I step out of the car.
This is it…

I look around the massiveness of the airport, making sure that I still have a good hold on my ticket (because you know, it would be awkward if I got all the way over there and then realise that I didn't have it.).

People mill around in groups, laughing and grabbing there bags off of the racks.

A few look a little nervous… like me.

"Next," calls the woman working at the ticket booth and I step up and give her my ticket, trying to breathe, though I don't know why.

I'm not scared of heights; I never have been and Sure I've been on plane's before…

But this… I just have a bad feeling.

Taking my ticket back I walk towards the plane, distractively going though all of the security checks as I do.

Then I walk up the ramp and into the actual plane.
