Sam

I nod, looking up at him, "C-Can you show me how? I won't come again, promise, I know you probrably don't want to see me," I tell him, "Promise."

Louis

My thoughts go down a road I'd never imagined them to and I swallow, stepping aside to let her in. What the hell? Get it together, man.

"Sure."

Sam

He lets me in and I glance around before turning to him, "My Name's Sam by the way."

Louis

I nod and watch her before awkwardly leading her to the couch, "Louis."

Sam

I nod, biting my lip, and plop beside him, handing him my gun.

Louis

I take her gun and swallow, trying to focus on it, "What's the problem?"

Sam

"I added bullets," I tell him, looking at him every once and a while, "But it wont shoot."

Louis

I nod slowly and open the chamber, flicking the safety lock on.

"It's just jammed," I say, flickering my gaze over to her.

I fix it and hand it back, swallowing. Is it hot in here?

Sam

Fail.

I nod and look at the floor before standing, wishing I didn't have to leave for some reason, "Thanks."

Louis

I nod before standing and watching her leave.

"Y-you wanna stay for lunch?" I ask without thinking, suppressing the urge to cover my mouth afterwards.

Sam

I freeze, studying him before slipping my gun on my belt, "Uh...Sure. Why not."

Louis

Oh..sh*t...what do I make?

I swallow and head into the kitchen, looking in the fridge for something to make, "A-anything in particular you want?"

Sam

"Not really. Anything's fine," I rest my arms on the counter, watching him.

Louis

I nod and hesitate before deciding on sandwiches. Getting out the stuff, I feel her watching me and surprisingly am okay with it. I shake my head at myself and close the fridge, making lunch.

"So, um, why exactly are you really here?" I ask, glancing at her.

Sam

Looking at the floor, I shrug, "Don't know. You had the chance to take me in..." I say, "But you didn't. Can I ask you why you didn't?" I ask, looking back up at him.
