I study her and head to the door before stopping and turning to face her, looking down at the note, "'Whitney, once again, I apologize for last night. I should have known it would happen, and I should have taken all measures to prevent it. As you might recall, I told you it was because of chronic headaches. I feel it necessary to tell you the truth. I'm a half-amnesiac. The former means that I cannot remember half of my life and the parts I do remember haunt me at every turn. Last night was just another day in the life for me.
