Jackie

I slowly fall asleep, yawning, and finding him warm.

Rayah

We get home and I take the kids, sending them to sleep once we get inside.

Nic

Before she can fall asleep, I take my suit jacket off and drape it over Jackie and Halee. Laying back down, I kiss the tops of both their heads and watch as Jacks doses off. I look up at the sky before closing my own eyes and falling asleep.

Jace

Rayah takes the kids and I change, laying in bed and waiting for her.

Jackie

I hear the crickets and smile in my sleep, happy I'm back.

Rayah

Once the kids are asleep I walk to our room and close the door behind me. Taking off my jacket I leave a tank top on and change into sweats, plopping next to Jace and taking a deep breath.

Nic

I smile in my sleep, wondering what will happen when someone finds us here...

I smile at Rayah and sigh, yawning, "You okay?"

Jackie

I sigh in my sleep, cuddling into him.

I nod, "Yeah. Why?"

Gonna stop playing Nic, since he's asleep.

Jace

i shrug, looking at her, "Just wanting to make sure."

Rayah

I smile at him, putting my hair in a side braid while humming Fix You by Coldplay.

Jace

I smile at the song she hums and watch her, mouthing the words to it when I close my eyes.

Rayah

I smile wider at him and watch him close his eyes, not tired yet.

Jace

I dose off during the second verse, dreaming about the past.

Rayah

He dozes off and I decide to take advantage of being the only person in the house awake, standing and making my way downstairs.

Jace

I sense Rayah leave and cuddle with a pillow, sighing in my sleep.

Rayah

I get a whole carton of vanilla ice cream and a spoon, bringing it back upstairs. Plopping back in bed, I plan to eat the rest of it.

Jace

She comes back and I stir again, burying my face under the same pillow I'm holding,

Rayah

I finish around thirty minutes later and find myself exausted, on a sugar crash. Laying down, I pass out almost instantly.
