Lol. Hm... I'll bring the brainstorming to the Lounge then. Bounce some ideas off of you. You can pick from there and help me develop them, maybe it'll help with your writer's block.
Jace
I study her, "Like what though?"
```````````` Nic
I stir and sigh, tightening my grip around her.
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I smile and nod, getting a text from work. Sighing, I kiss Rayah and stand, "I've got to check in for a second. Someone screwed up and I'm the one they've decided to send back to work on a day off. I'll be back in half an hour, okay?"
A feeling twists in my gut as my dream darkens and I can't help but hold Jackie even closer.
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I quickly kiss Rayah and hop in the car, heading off to work. Halfway there, something rams into the side of my car and sends me spinning into another. I see bright light before everything goes black.
I open my eyes and try to process the dream. An accident?
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I stand and run out the door, tears threatning to come. When I get there, police and sirens are all I see. I run over and push through the crowd, getting to Jace as he's lifted into an ambulance. I go in with him and sit by his side, "Jay?" I call, squeezing his hand, "Jace, can you hear me, babe?"
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Jackie
Getting a text from Rayah, I swallow.
"N-Nic..." I stutter, "Somethings happening with Jace."
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
Just playing Nic until Jace's death. Then I'll play him. Lol
I pale and stand, Alyx appearing solemnly near Halee's room so we can run out. I drag Jackie behind me as we run to where I feel he is. He's just being lifted into the ambulance when we get there, bloody and lifeless. Rayah sits at his side, trying to get a response from him.
"What happened?" I ask, jumping in the vehicle and taking his other side as my heart beats heavy in my ears.
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
What really knocks me out is a book that, when you're all done reading it, you wish the author that wrote it was a terrific friend of yours and you could call him up on the phone whenever you felt like it. That doesn't happen much, though. — J.D. Salinger, The Catcher in the Rye
