Jace

I zone out of everything else but the twins, still in shock.

Nic

I study the two, wondering what they're talking about, before shaking my head and looking back at my brother, who's so far gone it's nearly funny.

Rayah

I look back at the twins, "Can we go home now?"

Jackie nods, "Yeah. I'll come pick up Vanessa tommarow. She's spending the night here."

I nod back and take a deep breath before trying to stand, Jackie take Riley from me just in case, and right when that happens, I fall to the ground, "Ouch."

Jackie helps me up and steadies me, looking at Nic, "Will you take Riley for a second?"

Nic

I stand, helping Jace up, and tell him to stay put, knowing I'll have to guide him out like I brought him in. I take Riley from her mother for a second and help Jackie steady Rayah, Jace lost in his thoughts.

Rayah

I finally get steadied, and take Riley back, walking her out. Jackie smiles at me and I smile back at her as we get to the car Jace hotwired. I plop down in the back,still smiling, and look at Jace when he gets in, Jackie jumping in the Driver's seat. "You wanna hold Rye?" I ask.

Nic

I help Jace down to the car, making sure he doesn't run into anything as we do, and have to practically shove him in his seat. Shaking my head, I get in the passenger seat and sigh.

Jace

"You wanna hold Rye?" Rayah asks.

Her voice breaks me out of my trance and I look up at her, flashing a smile and nodding. I trade her Lo for Rye and smile again.

Rayah

The zombie's cleared, and I smile, knowing it's still our honeymoon. I give Logan my pinky for him to hold as we get to our house, and I jump out, giggling. Logan smiles a baby smile and I keep him in my arms, Jackie watching me before taking a step back.

"Congrats again," She nods, "But...I'm heading home. See you tommarow," She waves at us before turning away and walking across the street.

Jackie

I get to my house and throw my stuff down on the couch, checking my texts before turning my laptop on.

Nic

So confused...

I decide to change first before following Jackie and help Jace and Rayah into their house. If I didn't know better, it would seem as if Jace was the one who gave birth, not Rayah.

Shaking my head, I set Jace on the couch and help Rayah wherever she wants to go.

"Do you guys need me to stick around or can I go to Jackie's once I change?" I ask.

Rayah

I set Lo in his crib before looking at Nic, "Nah, You can go see your little girlfriend," I tease, flashing a smile.

I sit next to Jace who is still holding Riley, and flash a smile at him as well.

Nic

I flash a smile and shake my head at Rayah, going upstairs and looking through Jace's closet for something to wear. Finding something, I head back down and out of the house. I cross the street and knock on Jackie's door, running a hand through my hair and hoping my face isn't covered in smoke still.

Jace

I look up at Rayah and flash a smile, "Hey...I'm...distant, aren't I? I don't mean it. It just happens sometimes."

Rayah

I shrug at Jace, "Doesn't matter," I smile, "I know it does."

I see how Lo fell asleep and sigh, "Great way to spend our honeymoon, huh?" I chuckle.

Jackie

Someone knocks on the door and I part from my laptop to check who it is, "Hey, Nic," I flash a smile.

Jace

I flash a smile and nod, standing to set Riley in the crib with her brother. I sit back at her side and lay down with my head in her lap.

"It's not...like imagined," I close my eyes, "But it's peaceful."

Nic

I smile back at Jackie and sigh, "Hey. Mind if I hang with you for a while? The lovebirds are supposed to be alone for the rest of the day. Honeymoon and all."

Rayah

I nod, sighing, and close my eyes as well for just a second, "Yeah. Same here."

Jackie

I shrug and open the door wider, "Come in," I smile, stepping aside.

Jace

I sit up and wrap my arms around her instead, kissing her neck, "What do you want to do?"

I flash a smile and walk in, leaning against the wall once I'm inside.

Rayah

I flash a smile at him and shrug, keeping my eyes closed, "Nothing."

Jackie

I watch him before speaking, "I'll be upstairs," I say, walking upstairs and to my room, trying to get the ash from my face.

Jace

I flash a smile and close my eyes, sighing, "Nothing it is."
