Shouldn't someone PM Destcakes? I feel bad you guys are using her character and she doesn't know. Also; should I make a profile for Lacey to bring Allen in, just start writing about her, or forget about it?

Emmett

I hung up the phone with the slight movement of my thumb to the key pad, but it seemed like Abi picked up so much more from that movement.

"It's her, isn't it?"

"Yeah," I stand up, tucking my phone in my pocket. "We need to talk some stuff out, so I'm going to go pick her up."

"Emmett, we're kind of in the middle of something. Can't you just tell her to wait?" Abi-Marie sounds genuinly peeved, like I don't even feel bad about it.

"The food's almost gone. I was hoping you wouldn't mind..." It sounded so stupid, saying it out loud. "We've got this issue to work on."

Abi stands up, taking my hands in such a not-friends way I have to automatically pull back. "Why her? Emmett, I can't stay quiet anymore!" Quiet? Since when? "She's an alcholic! She's not smart, hardly pretty- why?"

The words sting me, but the answer is something I've defended myself aganist attackers in my head before. "She needs somebodyto love her." I take a deep breath, trying to block the seething anger under my layer of caramel skin. "Thanks for the pcnic, Abi-Marie. See you in school."

I'm at my car, having turned away and forced myself to walk, when I hear something faint on the wind- did I imagine it? "but, Emmett, I love you too..."

___________________________________________________________

I pull up to Jane's house, and shut my brain off. Jane jumps into the car, pullng her jean-clad legs up onto the dashboard. She only does that when she's really relaxed, so I force myself to smile.

"I wanted to apologize to you about the other day. That was stupid of me. I'm sure Lacey knows what she's talking about."

I liked the new problem presented to rid my mind of the old one. "Apology accepted. One problem, though," I grip my fingers around the steerngwheel, "I never exactly asked..."
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.

You can make Lacey a character. It'd be nice :) I'll PM Desti right after my post.

Jane Wills

I really don't want things to go wrong between me and Emmett. I mean, I think I love him. I never had anyone care for me like that before... I just don't want to lose him. I don't want to lose that. It's just too much to give up on.

"Emm, I'm seriously really sorry for saying that. I was just being an idiot." I looked at him. "Like, of course that wasn't true. It can't be. I just hate Drake so much that I want something to be wrong with him, anything. But I can't..." Then I stopped talking, realizing what he had just said.

"You never even asked her?"

He took a deep breath, letting go of the steering wheel. I sat up, nice and proper. Great, I was getting tense.

"No... I just thought that it could be her ex-boyfriend."

"You're right." I held back my initial thought. "It has to be her ex. No one else, unless, but no. Lacey is a good girl. She wouldn't go after a complete stranger."

He grabbed the steering wheel again and started driving. The roads were a little slippery from the rain, so he was being careful. From the looks of things, I believe that there's something more to Emmett being lost in his own world.

It's like nothing was even there. Just him and his thoughts. Which was dangerous considering the fact that he was driving.

"Why would you think it was Drake in the first place Jane?" there it was.

"Why wouldn't I?! Emmett, look at him. Look at what he's done. I wouldn't be surprised! Except that I would be... Lacey wouldn't do that."

"You don't know Lacey." he was furious. God no.

"Emmett! I'm really sorry I even brought him up. It's just that he told me he got a girl pregnant and he had to find a way to make sure that baby wouldn't be born. How long has your sister been pregnant?"

The car suddenly came to a halt. I noticed Emmett switched the gear into Park as we stood near the curb.

"Just because he got a girl pregnant doesn't mean it's Lacey. And it doesn't seem like he's trying to stop her from giving birth. What Drake says are all lies, and you know that yourself."

I had the urge to cry.

I won't make a profile, as I have little time for that, but her History s the same as Emmett's. The rest you'll get and will have gotten from past writings.

Lacey Lopez

Lacey Lopez was totally screwed.

So, she'd been screwed for about a month in a half. It was just starting to get to the point where she was blow-your-mind-out-of-the-water-what-are-they-going-to-say screwed. The kind of screwed no sixteen year-old girl wanted to be.

She was starting to see a baby bump.

Lacey dropped her hands from her stomach, turning back to her phone for a minute before examining her stomach again. The site says two months. I'm totally just seeing things. I have to be seeing things. It's only been what, one and four-fifths of a month.

Lacey sighed, pulling her shirt back down and rolling the lip gloss off her supple, larger-than-normal lips.

Not to late for an abortion. The baby is barely past its zygote phase. It doesn't even have real organs yet- it isn't as bad as could be. I could get out of this.

Lacey Lopez- half Native American, half Latino, and full-time screwed- pulled on a pair of pants that still fit her.

Promblem being that I can't.

____________________________________________________

Lacey hated working at McDonalds, but she couldn't be a full-time genius like her brother. She had to raise some money for art camp instead of frolicking around with her girlfriend (well, it would boyfriend in Lacey's case. Either way, it would be better if she had something.) Lacey would love to work at one of those cute little downtown resturants, selling cupcakes or doing some real watressing, but until she could drive herself, there was no way she was making Emmett drive her that long trip down. It wasn't going to happen. For probably the eigth that work week, Lacey cursed her inability to pass a driving test, and put in earbuds.

Jack and Jill went up a hill, Jack-

"Uh...Are you going to help me?" This is minutes later, partway through the song.

"No," Lacey replied. "Shh, let me finish the song."

Mary had a little lamb, Mary just don't gve a damn no more....

Lacey yanked the earbud out of her ear, staring at the customer who had interrrupted one of her favorite songs. Like nothing was wrong- because she knows every time she hears that song, she falls apart inside (damn it all for being true!)- she recites her motto; "Welcome to McDonalds. How may I help you?"

The young man looked at her incredously. He's from her school, the grade above- a Senior- and has very pretty eyes. She used to wish she had blue eyes like that all the time- but she was Latino and Native American. The genes were aganist what the genes were aganist. "You aren't suppose to do that are you?"

Lacey smiled sweetly. "Do what?"

"Listen to music on the job."

Lacey could beat this guy with a baseball bat and he wouldn't even notice. "Aren't you not suppose to do that?"

He looks kind of annoyed now. "What?"

"Come to McDonald's at three in the afternoon. Seriously." She gestured all around her. All empty space. "You must really be bored, and so am I."

She flipped a chunk of super-thick drak hair over her shoulder, and the guy just looked at her. Finally, he laughs. "Can I buy you shake?"

And that's how Lacey Lopez ended up in McDonald's having a shake with Allen Saravia.
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.

It's been a while since I've last talked to anybody. A long while since everything went down. I'm sure everyone has moved on with their lives by now, gotten over everything, forgotten about me. Everybody's lives are probably going great now that I'm not in them. Everybody has probably dealt with the drama; everybody except me, I've fallen into a depression much worse than before. Everything at home has gone back to its normal depressing self. Lauren had to move when her mom found out about everything going on in this town lately. I haven't spoken to Luna or Matt or anybody since that night in the hospital. I haven't been to school since then, I haven't even left the house really. Until now. I've decided that today is the day, I don't know why all of a sudden, but I just feel like I need to do this, that I owe it to everyone that I've hurt. Today I go back to school, I face the problems I created for myself and others, to see the damage I have caused. I must go; I must face this evil, the evil that is my stupidity. Today I make my reappearance.

Hesitantly I walk my old route to school. I keep stopping, debating if I should turn back or not. I talk myself out of chickening out several times before I finally approach the building. I slowly open the door and step inside. I struggle to fight back a smile; first as always; but then comes the pain, the memories come back to me, Matt, Lauren, and I walking the halls together first thing in the morning. It's akmost too much to bear, but I don't dare turn around, instead I walk towards my locker, desperately hoping to not run into Matt or Luna. But what are the chances I'll be so lucky not to?

My head is throbbing when I wake up. That vodka really had its way with me last night...I groan at the memory. Why...why did i get drunk last night? And suddenly everything rushes back. Will, Lena, their drunken kiss, and that nagging pully feeling i got in my belly when Will tried to convince me that it didn't mean anything. But i only got that feeling when someone was...no...no he wouldn't lie to me. I mean why would he do that. If he wanted to break up he could just do it. Right? I mean yeah i probably haven't been that easy to get along with recently but...he should know that he could always be truthful with me. Or so i hope.
Now that i'm thinking about it i remember that look that he gave Lena before we left. That sad, yet loving look at having to leave the one you lo...

I face palm myself. This is sooooo reminding me of that episode of 90210 where Silver and Navid were sneaking around together and poor Adriana was left stupidly in the dark. Well that would most definitely not be happening to me. I love Will...but if he's so much as hugged Lena with any thoughts other than friendship than we're done. Through. Over. The thoughts brings several sharp pains in my chest that leave me in fetal position, hugging my pillow tightly.

If things end with Will then...there won't be anything stopping me from that acting internship that mom set me up with in L.A. I had decided not to tell Will in fear that he would want to send me there to "better my future" or whatever. I love acting and being an actress is my dream upon all dreams. And singing. After my career would take off with the acting gigs, i'd make an album and let that take over. I've brought up moving with Will in the past, but he just shook it off, saying that he loved it over here in Connecticut. I mean i love it to don't get me wrong but...i'm a social butterfly. I have to spread my wings at some point and get out of here.
But Will...and Lena. I mean I probably shouldve seen it before. They're perfect for each other. She's known him just as long as i have. She's prettier than me and not only is she bad-ass but also manages to be gorgeous and feminine at the same time. Then there's just me. Plain old average Avery. With her mixed heritage that sets her aside from the rest of her friends. She may be rich but...thats all she's got. I've gotta stop thinking like this though.
" Ave get out of bed hun! If your gonna get drunk, you have to be ready for the repercussions the next day. Now hurry up! I just finished baking some blueberry muffins, made a strawberry smoothie, and a triple shot expresso coffee to sober you up!" My mother yelled from downstairs.

I lazily flopped out of bed and yawned loudly, making sure to exaggerate so that she'd know i was up. I shuffled to my bathroom and turned the shower on slowly. As soon as I stepped in the hot water burned and woke me up. But as my skin started geting used to the temp I began thinking again as i scrubbed my hair. Proposing to him?!?! What the FUCK was I thinking! I groan deeply and rinse the organic mango shampoo from my hair, then begin conditioning it. I mean what had been going through my mind dude? Oh yeah, that we were slowly drifting apart and that i'd have to lock him down before we began to fall out of love. Not to mention the price of the ring. I dont even know what I could compare it to. It was my great-great grampas engagement ring. A blood diamond.

I step out of the shower smelling like strawberries, mango, and honey. A nice combo if you ask me. But if Will really is with Lena...what about Chris? He's still in the dark and thats not fucking fair at all! Thats about when I finally make the decision to put it all on the table. Today. Well I guess that we're just gonna havta have senior skip day early.

__________________

Will looks nervous, Lena is fidgety, and Chris just seems confused. They're all on one side of the booth at Stacie's diner while i'm on the other. Lena is sitting between both Chris and Will and i wonder inwardly how awkward it must be for her and Will. Lena and Will. Saying the names like that still shoots a sharp pain into my heart, even after my meditation this morning. Instead of showing my real feelings though, I smile at each and every one of them before saying what i have to say.

"Sorry I had to drag you guys out but i have some things to say. One, we're not getting married." After absorbing that i heard Will let out a tiny sigh of relief while I notice Lena's mouth curved up the tiniest of a centimeter. All Chris did was nod approvingly and mumble "Your both to young anyway."

" Next is that I know that you and Lena want to be together, and you have no disagreement from my end. You both deserve to be happy and I don't want to be in the way of that. I just wish that you weren't scared of telling me." Both Lena and Will's jaws were on the table practically, as Chris shook his head. Not in approval like last time, but now in shock, disbelief, and disgust. Before any of them could recover from that i quickly blurted out the last thing i had to say.

" And lastly... I'm moving to California." I said the last part with a wide genuine smile.

" And lastly... I'm moving to California."

That stung every inch of my body. The whole thing with Lena and me... it didn't hurt as much as hearing she's moving. I realized that her smile even looked genuine.

"Hold on, let's slow down this conversation." I said.

"You and Lena?!" Chris hissed.

I swallowed hard, trying not to look at him.

"So it's true? Lena!"

She stood silent as well. This is worse than I thought. I didn't want everyone to know before we even knew. I looked back at Avery and saw she was already looking at me. I didn't want to lose her.

"You're moving... why didn't you tell me this before?"

"I didn't know how to. Why didn't you tell me about Lena?" just her saying her name, God, I saw how sad she was.

Chris stood up from the table, so furious I wouldn't be shocked if steam flew out of his ears. He started pacing, back and forth by our table.

"Will. Why would you do this to me?" he slammed his fist against the table. We just all let him calm down. "Lena..." he then looked at her, his eyes filled with tears.

"I can't do this," he said.

A beat later, he stormed out of the diner without any protests from us. We stood silent for a while, taking in a the news. I couldn't even look at Avery. I couldn't look at anyone or anything.

"I should go and... calm him down." Lena spoke up.

"No, he's pretty mad at this moment." Avery said.

I ruined everything.

"It's the acting gig, isn't it? In L.A.?" I looked up into her eyes.

"Yeah, how'd you know?"

"You said something about it yesterday before you left. I thought you were just trying to get me mad... or something... but I think you should do it. You want to act. It's your passion, your life. You were made for it. Go."

It was the hardest thing for me to say. I just didn't want her to leave. She was still a part of me, no matter what. My best friend. God, she was my girlfriend.

"Ave, why do you think Will and I..." Lena couldn't even finish.

"I saw you two kissing." that was hard for her to say, I know it, I felt the sting.

"It was an accident." she whispered.

"I know it wasn't. Look at you guys. I could feel the emotions from here! You can't lie to me. What hurts is not the fact that you love each other while still dating someone else, what hurts is that you wouldn't tell me."

Still, I couldn't bear to look at any of them. But I had to. I stopped staring out the window and I looked at Avery, noticing the tears in her eyes.

This just made everything even more awkward. We just kissed last night... and we didn't really react to it yet. But I know I said those three little words. I know she said them too.

"Look, Ave, we don't even know what happened. She was drunk, I was trying to help her... it was an accident."

Now I felt even more pain in my stomach. I couldn't bear it.

"I have to go," Lena's voice was sharp as she hopped out of the table and walked.

Sorry for all the waiting, guys! But my exams got over today, so now you can depend on me to give daily posts! (:

Thanks for bringing Allen in! And welcome back, Desti! XD

Allen

So I met an interesting lady who finally listening to music while doing a job. I never knew anyone girl would have a common interest as me. I decide to buy her a shake, I'm insides grinning. Not that I had any plans to hook her up with me, after what happened between the Jane-Allen-Avery incident, I decided not to go too fast and pick my girls carefully. Instead, I'm just going to stop it at friendship.

We take our seats, and she looks around, bored. I stare at her and give a small smile. I had a slight feeling she would turn out to be different.

"So. What type of music do you like?" I ask trying to make a conversation. It was me in the first place to ask her to have a shake with me. I take sip.

"Well, it really depends on the beats. Why do you ask?" she asked, smiling.

"Its weird. Girls always have a favourite for a type of music and mostly its Pop. Well, I think it really depends on the beats of the music too."

"Well, being a girl, I can assure you, I like Rock and Metal too. So, seems you're really interested into music."

"True. I make music. In the sense, I'm training to be a DJ."

Her eyes widen a little, but comes back to her normal size. "Wow. So, do you mind if I can listen to some of your music?"

"Well, I don't think its fully edited. There are some more things I have to add to it. Maybe you can be the first person to listen to it." I offer.

"Sounds cool." she shrugs. "You're from my school, right?"

"Well, you're fast." I teased. "I thought you must have realized too quickly. After all the rumours that have spread."

Lacey's face turns pale for a second. I frown. Now what did I do? Man, I'm so not the guy for this Girl-Boy talk.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"You're the one who... You know... With Jane?" she asked, putting parts of puzzles of the situation.

My face goes stiff. Now, I had to face this directly. Apparently, she noticed I really didn't appreciate it. "I'm sorry. Its just... Well, Jane's kind of related. Do you know Emmett? Well, she's a friend of his."

"Oh, yeah. Okay. Then, I guess its okay for you to ask..." I manage to say.

Lena

I don't know what to feel right now. Chris is upset with me, Avery's more upset because we lied to her about me and Will and because of that, she's moving to California. I don't know what's happened. Just a tiny interference can spoil everything. Including the friends you have, to make it just more hard. I knew I shouldn't have kissed Will. It was just wrong to.

I ran through the halls, hot tears swelling up my eyes. I need to talk to Chris and I knew where he would be. I need to make him understand. I don't want him feeling bad anymore. I walked outside. There he was, sitting under a tree, sitting through the silence. I walked slowly towards him. His eyes narrowed. I knew he didn't want to talk to me.

"Chris..." I say, sitting next to him and taking his hand. He slapped it off, looking furious.

"You think holding my hands will sustain me from feeling furious? Lena, do you what I'm wondering right now? Was there anything between us? So much happened when we were together that we went against all odds that we shouldn't be doing! And this is how you treat me!" Chris exclaimed, stressing out his anger. I didn't say anything. His anger was justified. There's not more to it. I let him continue. "And Will. He's my best friend. I let him stay at my house when he had a tough time! And now, he goes on picking my girlfriend when he himself was cheating against his girlfriend! Why are you guys doing this to me? After what I've done for both of you..." his voice trails off.

"Chris, please. You're misunderstanding the situati-"

"You know, Avery told me you guys kissed. But I didn't want to believe it because I was so sure nothing had gone wrong in our relationship. That you wouldn't ditch me for him. That's why, Avery called you that instant and we found out you guys were together. I didn't want to hurt you, so I didn't take up the subject again."

"I don't know what to do, Chris. I was so confused." I say, my tears dribbling down. I put my face against my hands. "I couldn't talk about it to anyone, not even Avery. I didn't mean to hurt anyway, it just came up."

Chris didn't say anything. He stood up, and looked at me. "Don't apologize to me. I've pretty much taken it in. The one you're supposed to apologize is to Avery. She's strong, but I know what she's going through." he says, in his humble voice. "See you later."

And then he was off.

I shake my head, attempting to settle the pain for a second. I know what Chris is going through. Thats why I got drunk last night. I just couldnt handle it. That hot searing pain in my chest at finding out that the person i wanted to share a future with would have feelings (and act on those feelings) for the person i trust most. It really fucking hurts. But meditation helps a bit. it brings you peace of mind, and gets you to accepting the truth one step at a time. I'm not that girl who would go out and party, and get drunk, and try to fuck when I was upset. The new me drinks two shots of vodka, cries a bit, then goes to sleep. I wouldnt do that crazy shit again, would I?

I suddenly get up, surprising Will. I think that he was talking about something, but I was too stuck in my own thoughts to really listen. My abrupt movement cuts him off and he looks at me with the most sad, pained, guilty puppy eyes ive ever seen.

" I havta go Will." I say a bit choked up, the emotions of what just happened all crashing into me now.

"Ave wait a-" Will begins but I cut him off hurriedly.

"No, no I really havta start packing. I'm gonna be in L.A for the next three years you-" I'm saying before he cuts me off.

"Three Years?!?!?! Ave I thought it was going to be for like, six months or something. Not three years." Will says getting a bit louder. I glare at him.

"Will...you have no right to even care about me right now." I say, my pent up anger finally boiling over. "You cheated on me with none other than my best friend. I even think that I heard you whisper that you loved her. And then you want to lie to me about wanting to get married. Not to mention that you also happened to lie again when saying that she used you. Why couldn't you just..." and here comes the freaking waterworks. "Why couldn't you just tell me the truth? Just break up with me. That would have hurt, yeah, but not as much as this. My best friend...now some cheating bitch. My boyfriend... now just some cheating son of a bitch." I shake my head again and try to push back the tears but I can't.

This is it. The truth. And i'm just running away from it. I suddenly don't have the energy to walk out of the diner so I plop down into the booth again. The sobs are getting louder and harder, so I put my head down onto the table and just let them flow.

I had to fix this. I just had to. I couldn't look at her crying, it broke my heart. Everything in me collapsed at every breath she took. I got out of my seat and sat next to her, rubbing her back. She jerked away, not wanting me anyway near her.

"Ave," I sighed.

"No, get away from me." venom flooded her voice.

"I'll tell you what actually happened..."

"Lying?" she took a deep breath through her sobs. "Again?"

"No, the truth truth. You need to know."

Looking up at me, I couldn't stay away from her tear filled eyes, so glossy and sad. Swallowing hard, I started telling her what had happened.

"Just don't cut me off or run away. I need to tell you everything." I assured her.

"Okay,"

"In the past few weeks I have grown feelings for Lena." I started off slow, trying not to trigger her tears again. "...and I didn't know what to do with them. I was sure it was some sort of phase and it would go away. But it didn't."

I couldn't look at her anymore, so I stared off into the distance.

"I tried to find every way possible to stop liking her... and that night was the night I made sure I would stop. She was drunk, it was disgusting. But I still didn't stop feeling for her. So when she kissed me, I was shocked. I didn't know she had feelings for me."

Stopping for a moment, I took a deep breath and looked back at Avery. She was looking at me the whole time, her eyes dry.

"But when she kissed me, I felt nothing. It was gone. All I could think about was how stupid I was to even take our love for granted. I told her I loved her like a sister, she said the same in return. Well, brother not sister. You get it. We thought you didn't see that so we just wouldn't mention it because it ended up being nothing anyway. It was a phase."

I knew how she would take this. At first she'd believe this whole story was a lie after lie after lie. But then, she'd start to believe me... hopefully. The thing was, even though I had feelings for Lena, my feelings for Avery were much stronger. I didn't want to lose her, every part of me didn't want her out of my life. Even if she moved to California, I still want her near me.

She ended up saying nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Jane Wills

Music was blasting through my ears as I tried to sleep. This whole world is a damn nightmare and I just don't want to be in it. For a while. I'll come back when I'm ready to deal with it.

I started to sing along to the music, my eyes shut, just imagining a music video I could star in, singing this beautiful song.

Someone pulled my earphones out. Opening my eyes, I saw Drake.

"What in the name of God are you doing-," I couldn't finish my sentence because he jumped right on top of me and kissed me. A strong, passionate kiss that made me want to kick his balls.

I tried my best to get him off of me. Kicking, screaming, and pushing didn't work. So I started to scream. My parents were home so I have no idea why they let him up here.

He covered my mouth with his hand and gave me a small smirk. Those are never a good sign. I tried to bite his hand, nothing managed.

"What'd going on in here?" My mom barked.

Drake looked up at her and said. "Just some rough sex, I went too far in... sorry."

"No!!!" I tried to scream, kicking him again.

"She's rough this little one." he grabbed my legs and put them flat on my bed.

"Let her go," my mom hissed.

"No,"

I started up again, kicking, screaming, punching. Everything I oculd do, I did. My mom came up to us, trying to split us up.

"Michael! Come here!" my mom yelled.

In a mere minute, my dad had Drake up against my bedroom wall, his hand over his throat.

"You ever come near my daughter again, I'll make sure you'll be in a wheelchair." he hissed.

Lacey

I'm just as uncomfortable as Allen, shifting my butt to the very edge of the chair, and playing incessantly with my straw.

I would rather be discussing so many other things with this guy- if he like Bon Jovi, when Country could actually be good to listen to, and (this was a necessisity) if he would watch Disney movies and pick apart the music with me. However, if I were to ever see him again, I had to get this sorted out. I love my brother, but if a guy with his history took another step towards me, he would get out his fists and barrel roll it. And I can only imagine what Papa would do.

Thing is, I've made a mistake immensly similiar to that one- my luck (and condom) just broke. "You promise you won't try and get into my pants?"

Allen looks up, startled. The look on his face makes me want to blurt out- hey, I'm not a virgin either, actually, I'm pregnant and confused and I'm sure you won't have a musical reply to that one, will you? I don't, because I can't force myself to do that. He lets out a short laugh. "That's seriously what you wanted to ask me about?"

"Actually," I take another drink out of my shake. "I was wondering if you were drunk, but I know Jane. My response seemed much more... witty. I was hoping it would keep you around longer to buy me more shakes. I mean, we all make mistakes, right?" Though, if you stick around much longer, you may have some explaining to do for Emmett.

Honestly, I hadn't heard many rumours about Allen- most of them were about Jane. The girl friggin' got around- making an amusingly awkward for my brother. Allen was just a side-note, someone people mention in gossip as an idiot who got forgotten. The fact that he had slept wth Jane didn't bother me to much- the bother was came in the consumption of alchol. If I knew he was going to be around for awhile, I would have delved into more questions- because I'm done with that kind of guy- but he's going to run as soon as he figures out the... literally emerging secret from my stomach. Anybody would.

"Yeah, we were drunk. It was a stupid party, and a stupid mistake. I swear I don't do that kind of stuff anymore. So, no, your pants are out of the question. I promise."

"Good." I take another sip of my shake- of which I had another employee fetch for me, much to her chagrin- trying to think of something else clever to say. I like being smart and witty; it means that, in that aspect, I will always have the upper hand. Emmett is a little slow. I notice that both of us have relaxed, and that Allen has said two little words that have almost as much strength as "I love you" does- I promise. "But I'm afraid you're going to prove it. First song that comes to your head."

I feel the immense need to change the subject, because I know that if we talk about problems, we'll move onto my problems. Nobody needs to hear about my problems, and if that means his are to easily forgiven, so be it.

"Piano Man, Billy Joel." The words roll off his tongue, lightning quick.

"Good choice, but wrong answer. Alchol is involved."

Allen laughs- the good, full-out laugh that the good guys have. "Who are you?"

And to that question, I don't even know.

Emmett

When Jane broke into tears, I felt like a raving lunatic. I couldn't say anything, couldn't force any words out of my mouth, just U-turned and went back to her house.

I kissed her on top of the head. "God, Jane, I'm so sorry. I'm just so stressed out. I need to get into NYU, and I'm just really freaked out right now. I'm so sorry."

She pulls my arm around her, like a blanket. "I shouldn't have sad that."

Words alude me again. The only thing I can seem to say is; "Let's take a break for a couple days. I just need some space, ask Lacey about some stuff, work on some Applications. I'll call you on Wenesday, and we'll eat lunch together, but- Jane?"

She has pulled away, and is opening the car door. She slams it shut, enough to rock my small car. "See you on Wenesday, Emmett."

All of a sudden, I don't feel like the stable one anymore.
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.

It's alright! Sometimes you can't write cause you're doing something important, I get it. :)

Jane Wills

The next day at school was torture. I couldn't look at anyone without getting a glare. Somehow, everyone knew about Drake trying to get me to have sex with him. Except that they didn't know about him breaking into my house or him practically raping me again. Everyone thought I was cheating on Emmett.

These damn fuckers.

I tried to open my locker, third time is the charm? Right? Not true after your tenth-third time. Pounding my fist against my locker, I gave up. My heart raced as I remembered Drake jumping onto me.

Shutting my eyes, I lied my forehead against the locker, feeling the cool metal on my skin.

"Hey slut," a girl said.

Turning my head, I saw a tall blonde looking straight at me.

"Watch what you're doing next time and know what you have before you lose it." she sneered.

A lump grew in my throat as she walked off. I picked my phone out of my pocket and looked for anyone that would get me out of this hell hole. Looking up for only a second, I saw Emmett with some girl walking past me. I quickly dialed Sarah's number, waiting for her to answer.

"Yo,"

"Are you at school?"

"You crazy? Never been in weeks, why?" she laughed.

"Get me out of here,"

There was a pause, short, but it was there.

"Alright, Harmony High?"

"Mhm," I took a few deep breaths.

"Sure, be outside in five. Ta," she hung up.

If you knew me, you would understand why I was staring at Emmett with that girl. Watching every move she made. She was defiantly hitting on him and I knew it.

My throat closed up as I walked toward the side exit of the school. Before I could open the door, I noticed this girl, pretty and tall, sitting on a bench under the tree in tears. Opening the door, I walked up to her.

She looked up, wiping her eyes with her sleeves. I sat down next to her on the uber-cold bench, waiting for her to clam down. I don't even know what the hell I'm doing, but I'm doing it.

"I'm sorry," she smiled a smile that you knew it wasn't real.

"Are you okay?" I tried.

"No, not really..." she looked at the sky, her big blue eyes the same color.

"Oh... God, sorry. I'm Jane,"

"Lena, it's okay."

I stood up, blocking her from looking up at the sky. She gave me this questioning look as she wiped the rest of her tears.

"Come with me. My friend and I are going to the beach."

"I don't even have a swimsuit."

"It'll make you feel better to just leave. Trust me,"

I feel wanted. ;D I have an idea. Why don't we all meet up at the beach? Like a coincidence.

Allen

So, I knew that I was a bad talker. I've never been great around girls. That's what's happening right now too. But I guess, Lacey has a reason to question me, so she's probably not wrong in doing it. We talked for quite awhile, she even asked me if I would mess with her like I did to Jane. Of course, in my entire life, I wouldn't. I'm not that guy so goes and sucks up to girls for sex.

Piano Man, Billy Joel." I find myself saying.

"Good choice, but wrong answer. Alchol is involved." Lacey shoots.

I laugh, gently. That was the real laugh I had in years. "Who are you?"

Lacey leans back on the chair and closes her eyes for a second. I knew she really didn't know. I look at her, and then my eyes examine her fully. It makes it stop at her belly. Was it looking like she had a bump? Or, you know. Was it just natural? Because she really look like she would have a bump since, she's so thin. I put the thoughts off my mind. Maybe I'm just wondering too much. Its anyway, none of my business to interfere.

"So, can I have your cell number?" I ask.

She looks up at me. "We're friends already?"

I grin. I knew she was kidding. "Ah, I doubted it first too."

She smiles and lends her number. I save it up on my cell. I finish my shake, and get up, stretching. This evening was one of the best's after middle-school.

"I've to get going now. Andy's alone at home, so." I spoke.

She seemed confused. "Andy...?"

"My sister." I grin again. I've been grinning too much. I should stop, I think to myself. "Tell you what. Want to go to the beach together? My friends and I are planning to ditch school tomorrow. Why don't you come over?"

"With only you guys?" she asks.

"Yeah. But if you have a problem, its okay! I totally get it." I speak fast. "I know you would-"

"I'd love to." she gives me a surprising answer.

That made my day.

Lena

After Chris walked away from me, I sat up all night crying. I hadn't even got one call from him. I felt so uncomfortable. It made me think that I'm the most cruel girl in the World. How could I even think about cheating on Chris after what he's done for me? My eyes are swollen and puffy. I look so bad. I've never looked so dull in years. That is, until those 3 very special people came into my life. And now, look at me. I'm just that insecure girl all over again.

I wanted to call Avery but I knew I had no right to even talk to her anymore. I grab a black shirt and denim shorts. I was not in a sound mind to even think about clothing right now. I grab my bag and keys and go off to school, not even mentioning it to my mom.

***

I make my way to the girl's bathroom. I can't even go to class. I have my first class with Avery today. Who will I sit next to? I don't even have Vivienne now since she left the school last term. This was all a nightmare for me. I looked at myself in the mirror. I was crying. Man, where do these things come from? Why can't I pull myself together? Why am I acting like such a baby?

I decide I can't face classes, so I go sit on the bench outside. I keep crying. I haven't seen Will, Avery or Chris. I guess that's a good sign because I knew I couldn't even look at them. Will was so upset. He's more upset to what I did to him. I kissed him. He didn't want that. I'm hurting everyone. I have to leave from-

A girl comes and sit next to me. I quickly wipe my tears off. I give her a small smile. I had to be strong. I think she knew I wasn't smiling for real.

I'm sorry," I say. I really meant it.

"Are you okay?" she asked, worried.

"No, not really..." I manage to say and look at the sky. Now that I realize, I couldn't look at anyone now.

"Oh... God, sorry. I'm Jane,"

"Lena, it's okay."

She stood up, forbidding me from looking at the sky. Why? Why did she do that. I wipe my tears again. I couldn't stop crying. Not even for a minute.

"Come with me. My friend and I are going to the beach." she says, smiling down at me. I didn't know what to think.

"I don't even have a swimsuit." I say, stupidly. I threw mine off after it got torn the last time and never even bothered to buy a new one.

"It'll make you feel better to just leave. Trust me," she gives me a gentle reply.

I look at the ground.

"Look at me, Lena. Stop avoiding everyone. I may not know what you're going through, but I've been going through lots too. But you have to learn to be strong."

I guess she was right. Whatever may be the reason, I have to keep my chin up. I look at her. At least someone was smiling and trying to be friends with me. But maybe, after she knew what I'd done, she may not even want to see me just like Avery, Will and Chris.

"I...I'll come. I guess I'll have a swimsuit somewhere." I try to say.

"Relax. We'll go shopping. Its just right next to the beach and they have some fine swimsuits. I'm sure you'll love them."

Just then, Jane gets a call from her cell. She picks up.

"Hey, Sarah." she says. "You're here? Cool, I'll be right there. Hey, is it okay to bring a friend of mine? Uh-huh. Thanks, love."

She stares at me. "Come on, we have to go! Sarah's totally fine with it!" Jane says happily and grabs my hand.

And from then on, I always felt she would be right beside me.
