Isabella "Bella" Stonell - 'Belle' - Storybrooke High

I guess I'll go...as long as Garth doesn't even...

He walks over right when I'm about to say something to Leigh, and try to block him out as much as possible.

"Heyyy, Bella," He says, smirking.

I glance up at him, nodding politely, "Garth."

"You maybe wanna hang out after the big football game? You're gonna be there... Right?"

Oh my god...

I pretended to fake gag, and just shook my head, "I'm going to be there. Just not with or for you," I take a sip of my water.

"Playin' hard to get, huh?" He nudges his groupies, "I like that," And with that, he walks away.

Snow just stares at me, Leigh too, and I look down, embarassed, "That was awkward," I finally say.

They both nod but flash a smile, "Are you still going to the game?" Snow asks.

I nod, "Of course I am! If you're singing. Anyways. Like Leigh said, if he tries anything she'll just deal with it," I flash a smile at her.

She nods, "I will."

I shrug, "Then I shall go."

"Yay!" Snow laughs.

I chuckle and shake my head at her, "Is you're brother gonna be there?" I ask Snow.

She shrugs, "Hopefully not."

I sigh, "You're lucky you have siblings..."

She shakes her head, "Not at all."

I shrug, not saying anything more.

David- Prince Charming- Outside Storybrook High

The bells finally rung, allowing the doors to swing open to our freedom. Henry and I pushed through the heavy traffic of teenagers to the sidewalk.

"You coming over?" he asked.

"Can't," I answered. "I've got football practice."

"Oh yeah. Well try and drop by after dinner. I've got the latest Call of Duty I want to try out."

"Sure, no problem." He waved and took off on his skateboard while I glumly turned back towards the school. Not totally free yet.

I was stuck walking against the flow of traffic and someone ran into me, spilling all of their stuff.

"Sorry," I muttered stupidly and started picking up their things. The backpack had been slightly open so most of its contents were strewn for muddy feet to trample all over them. Luckily nothing was too damaged.

I looked up and saw a guy about my age. He looked familiar--

"Archer, right?"

"Yeah," he grunted. He didn't want to have a conversation. I shrugged and handed him back his books.

"Sorry about that."

"Whatever," he mumbled and took off.

Archie Hopper-- Jiminny Cricket-- Storybrooke High

The bells rang and I took a deep breath as my last class began stampeding out the door.

"Survived the first day, Arch. Only 179 more to go."

"Counting the days, Mr. Hopper?"

I looked up from my desk and saw Mother Superior. Were we the only teachers who talked this much?

"No, but I know they are," I gestured to the window onlooking the front courtyard. She shrugged tiredly.

"If only education actually meant something..." I heard her mumble and smirked.

"They're teenagers, Ma'am. Right now most can only think about girls or boys and the latest trends--"

There was a soft knock on the door which cut me off mid-sentence. In the doorway was a student holding a pile of books.

"Miss White, how can I help you?" asked Mother Superior.

"Ma'am, I needed to ask a question," she spoke nervously.
"Oh please don't tell me you're archaeologists."

"Do you have a problem with archaeologists?"

"I'm a time traveler. I laugh at archaeologists."

Jasmine "Leigh" Spring| Mulan| Home

"I'm home!" Jasmine called cheerily as she threw her bag down at the door and quickly picked up the mail. She raced into the parlour, only to stop and stand startled at the door.

"We have guests, daughter," her father said, reproach in his gaze. Jasmine tried not to cringe and placed the mail carefully on the side table before approaching the sofas and giving a polite smile to the husband, wife and son. "Our guests would like refreshment I am sure," her father continued in his crisp, commanding tone.

"Tea?" Jasmine asked, receiving nods from all three before she ducked out and walked slowly to the kitchen. Great. Another tea party to bore her to death.

As she made the tea, Jasmine decided her mother must still be at the shop which didn't bode well for this being a short visit. They would surely wait for her return which wasn't fair! Jasmine had hoped to go looking for Jay and see if he wanted to scale a few walls with 'Leigh'. If he wasn't too busy with his gang, that is.

Placing the tea pot and cups on a tray, Jasmine added biscuits, then the sugar bowl, after topping it up. She filled a small jug with milk. Then she carried the whole lot through and poured cups for everyone, asking around the table how they took their tea. Her father watched on in approval but cringed as she knocked over one of the cups and tried to mop it up with a corner of the tablecloth, almost pulling the whole thing over.

Jasmine gave up just short of disaster and sank into one of the chairs to hide her head in shame.

Rachel 'Fin' Finley | Rapunzel | Storybrooke High training fields

First day of the new term and Fin was checking out her recruits. When she had been told she would be cheer captain this year, her mother ordered her a new Chloé bag to celebrate. She had made Fin bring this bag to school with her this morning, to match her brown Michael Kors wedges. And she had left the house with her hair in a chignon, the coloured ends tucked away out of sight.

Until she left the house and she let down her hair.

Now she was in the Storybrooke High cheerleading uniform, red and gold, her hair tied in a high ponytail, the green and pink and purple ends swinging against her back in time with her movements. She watched the other girls carefully. Some were out of shape. The newcomers wanting to try out didn't stand a chance. Fin had trained every day under her mother's watchful eye during the summer. Every move, she knew, was perfect.

"Okay!" their cheer coach finally shouted. "Looks like some of you have extra work to do!" She pointed to Fin and half a dozen others. "You're free to go if you want. Next practice will be Friday after class. Understood?"

Fin grabbed her kit bag and wandered along the side of the football pitch to watch as David Graham threw the ball in a perfect arc. His opponent missed it and Fin snorted. David was a good looking guy. A lot of her friends questioned why Fin had never gone for him- it seemed like the natural order. But she imagined what would happen if she tried anything with any of the boys in Storybrooke High. Her mother would find out immediately, and Fin would be grounded and told again and again that men were not to be trusted. The mysterious Mr Finley had instilled that belief in Thelma Godwin.

David must have noticed her staring at him, felt the burn of a pair of inquistive eyes at his shoulder, and he turned to look at her, smiled nervously. As if he really wasn't sure what was going on. Fin shook herself out of her reverie and with a derisive snort, walked on.

She was Rachel Finley. She pretended to date college guys and now she could go home to her mother and do her homework and practice and make dinner and wait and wait and wait for something to come and rescue her.

Soooo sorry. I've been away on a Mission trip, and haven't been on the comp for a week. So sorry!

Jake Sweets-“Hansel”-Storybrooke High
I read in front of the class, ignoring the snickers coming from the girls. I cringed, and sat down.
I finished class, and scanned my surroundings, noting the people who sat together. I pulled my lunch bag out of my pocket. The same things as always—ham and cheese sandwich, bottle of water. But today, I saw that Gretta had left a note:
Don’t worry, Jake. You’ll fit in soon… You’ll be fine. Yours truly, Gretta.
I smiled. She always knew me…. She always understood. I finished eating quietly, and looked around. Just then, I saw Garth walking up to Gretta. His strong muscular shoulders showed through his shirt. He walked over to her, and patted her shoulder. I started that way. She cringed at the touch, and ignored him.
“What? Well well well, now why is your clothes so—“ he said meanicingly.
“Back off.” I said, pushing between him and Gretta.
“Ohhh, would you look at that. Little Jakey boy trying to be…” he said, but I cut him off.
“I said back off, and I mean it.” I said, and started walking away with Gretta. He followed behind, and grabbed my shoulders, yanking me around to face him.
“Leave him alone.” Said Gretta.
“You don’t want to do this, Garth.” I said quietly. “I’m serious. Just back off, and leave us alone. Do you want everyone to see you as a bullie? I mean, look, who’s back there?” I said smoothly and quietly, so that only he could her. “Isn’t that…. Bella?” I said. A look of shock passed his face, and he turned red. Bella was watching, looking angry. Garth spun around, and tried to walk nonchalantly back to Bella. I hugged Gretta.

Gretta Sweets- “Gretel”- Storybrooke High

I hugged Jake gratefully, and then smiled.
“Hey, thanks Jake….” I said. I turned away, and walked towards the girls. I heard some gossiping, and I wasn’t sure who, but some girl whispered in my ear.
“Hey, your brother is cute. Oh! And how he protected you from Garth. Oh, he’s so handsome.” I ignored it. I admitted to myself, that Jake was very cute, and gentle, kind and nice. But I didn’t want anyone—liking him….

Cindy Rell- “Cinderella”- Storybrooke High.
I sighed. People were always making fun of me…
“Hey, washing girl. Will ya wash my clothe—“
I dashed out of the room, out of the school, outside. I let the tears streak down my cheeks, as I sobbed. I looked down at my clothes, wishing they were pretty.
“What’s wrong?” asked a voice… sounding like a guy. I didn’t look up. I just cried more.

Regina Thorne - 'Evil Queen' - City Hall

Regina was pacing up and down her lavishly decorated City Hall office. Her face was formed in a permanent frown and her eyes kept darting from the large window behind her desk to the watch on her wrist.

Sydney, who was sitting on one of the empty couches, had been staring at the mayor stupidly for the past fifteen minutes trying to work out what was the matter.

“You do realise that your speech today at Storybrooke High has guaranteed you another term in the mayor’s office?” he asked.

Regina threw him a loathsome look. As if she needed any reminding.

“I know that, you idiot,” she snapped, still pacing.

“Oh,” Sydney frowned in confusion. “Then what seems to be the problem?”

“They don’t respect me,” she answered, “those kids, the staff …” she paused in her tracks to look up at Sydney for a moment, “especially Archie Hopper.”

“The school English teacher?” Sydney scoffed airily. “He’s harmless.”

“Harmless!” Now it was Regina’s turn to scoff. “I've heard the rumours! Those measly kids hang on his every word! They follow him like he's some sort of leader!” She continued pacing, her frown deepening by the second. “I saw him today at the assembly … rolling his eyes throughout my entire speech. He barely even clapped when I was done. I’m telling you Sydney, we need to watch out for him.”

Sydney still didn’t look convinced. “I think you're overreacting.”

“We’ll see who’s overreacting when he incites the whole school to revolt against me!” Regina roared. She marched over to Sydney with a look of such ferocity, the journalist almost cowered in fear. “You will do your job and ensure that such a thing doesn’t happen, is that understood?”

Sydney was so terrified he could barely make eye contact with Regina. “What do you want me to do that I haven’t already done?” he asked. “I’ve spun every negative story in your favour, I’ve buried all connection to the Fairy Tale world, I’ve -”

“Not good enough!” Regina barked. “For too long we’ve focused on this office and trying to hide the fairy tale roots of the town's inhabitants. What we’ve failed to do is focus on the inhabitants themselves.” She finally took a step back from Sydney and faced the window, her eyes wondering in thought. A long moment passed before she spoke up again. “You’re next task, Sydney, is to follow Archie Hopper. I want to know everything about him, his likes, his dislikes, his strengths, his weaknesses, but most importantly I want you to find out his relationship with the kids at Storybrooke.”

Sydney rapidly noted all this down in his pad before looking up at Regina. “I’ll follow him from a distance ... making friends with him might raise suspicion. Oh, and I’ll bug his office,” he added quickly. “That way we can listen in on his lessons and conversations with the kids.”

Regina turned back to face her employee and gave an evil smirk. “Perfect. That sounds like a plan.” But the smirk only lasted for a few seconds. The frown returned as she looked back down at her watch again and let out a frustrated groan. “Where is Henry? He was supposed to be home an hour ago!”

“I’m sure he’s on his way,” Sydney stood up and tried to sound appeasing. “You should be more worried about Ebony-Rose. Shouldn’t she be here with your afternoon coffee by now?”

Regina's frown turned for the worse. "Get me Sheriff Graham. Now!"

Little Red Riding Hood- Rose Lucas

I threw my bag on my bed at Granny's, my body following it in one thump. I consider changing my scandoulous outfit; Granny knows I dress like this, but she doesn't like it. I'be told her to get used to it, but I don't think she ever will.

My great Dane jumps on top of me, and I don't bother to shove him off. There's no party today, and the Cafe is nearly empty at this point in the day. I have nothing to do except homework; and I'm not sure I even want to bother.

"Rosie?" My Grandmother's voice peaked through the door. "It's gettin' a little busy out here. Would you mind comin' out here to help?"

I throw Wolfie off of me, throwing a red T-shirt over my tanktop and shrug off my skirt. "Second!" I call, pulling on a pair of blue jeans and wondering if Granny really needs my help, or if she's just worried about me again. Not like I blame her- if I were her, I'd worry about me too.

I gave her a smile as I walk into the Cafe that's attached to her small home- I doubt it was reassuring. She gives me the tray and ties the apron around my waist. I took a deep breath- this is the place I've wanted to be all day.
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.

Henry- Prince Charming #2- Outside somewhere-

I was on my way home to face whatever wrath Mother decided to throw my way today when I heard someone crying from the bushes. Stopping my board, I walked over and pushed through the shrubbery. She looked familiar, though I couldn't place it.

"What's wrong?" I tried.

She didn't look up, just wrapped her arms tighter around herself and sobbed more. I sighed, not knowing what to do when there's a crying girl. Whenever I caught Ebony crying, I would always shift awkwardly and try to find some reason to get out of the room. But I couldn't just leave her there.

Stooping down, I plopped down in the grass next to her and patted her shoulder nervously. "You okay?" Glimpsing my watch, I determined I was going to be getting home late. Mom would have to wait.

David- Prince Charming 1- Storybrooke Stadium-

"Heads up, Graham!" someone called, but I missed the warning seeing as a football flew directly into my shoulder.

"Ow!" I shouted and grabbed the ball. Garth and one of his lackies, Beau I think, jogged up to me and took the ball.

"I called 'heads up.'"

"He did call it," Beau reassured, earning and shove from Garth.

"You called for my brother, Garth. I answer to David," I shot back and snatched the ball away.

Garth frowned. "We're running Play 4. Think you can handle it?"

"Whatever you say, Captain," I answered and jogged in my gear towards the rest of the team. Handing the ball to Stephen, my center, and stood back. "Down set! Ready set! Hike!" I shouted, catching the ball and throwing it down to the wide reciever who unfortunately missed. Groaning in frustration, I went back to my position to run the play again. But something wasn't right... I could feel it. Someone was watching me.

Turning I caught one of the cheerleaders staring at me. Her wildly colored air blew in the breeze behind her. Not wanting to be rude, I gave a polite smile and turned back to Stephen. He was looking at her too.

"What?" I asked.

"Why's Rachel looking at you?"

"Rachel?"

"Yeah, Rachel Finley, cheer captain--"

"I know who she is, Stephen. Why are you so interested?"

Stephen shrugged, trying to play it cool but hiding something all the same. "N-nothing," he stammered. "C'mon, let's run the play again."

Looking back to Rachel and then Stephen, I smiled slyly. "Sure..."
"Oh please don't tell me you're archaeologists."

Isabella "Bella" Stonell - 'Belle' - Storybrooke Library

The best part of the day finally came. The one place where I could just relax and do what I do best without having to worry about Garth hitting on me. Or mean cheerleaders questioning what I wear. I threw my bag down behind the counter of Storybrooke Library, plopping down in the check-out chair. Teenager crowd in from school, probrably to do their homework, and I end up doing mine.

Pulling out my chemistry homework, I turn to the first page of my workbook just as a guy comes up to me, "Hey Bella," He says, flashing a smile. Looking up, I flash a smile back at who it is. I didn't know he does his homework...

"Why are you here?" I ask in a whisper, "I didn't know you came here after school."

He smirks, "I don't. Only on rare occasions," He says, crossing his arms, "I've come to talk to you."

I nod, turning back to my homework, "Talk."

"You're going to the game Friday...right?" He asks, eyeing me.

I nod, "Yeah. Why?"

"Please say you're not going with Garth," He begs.

"Trevor..." I love saying his name. So fun to pronounce, "I'm not. Ever."

He sighs of relief, "Good. I don't like him."

"Rachel does..." I smirk, "Every girl does."

"Because she's the cheer captian and he's the captian of almost every sport in Storybrooke," He corrects me, "Nothing special."

I smile again, "Well...I have to do my homework," I sigh.

He rolls his eyes playfully, "Okay. Bye," He waves before going back to his groupies. Shrugging it off, I turn back to page one of my first assignment of this year.

Cindy Rell-“Cinderella”-Storybrooke High
I looked up to see Henry crouching beside me.
“You okay?” he asked.
I nodded yes, but then nodded no, looking down again. “No—I’m not okay.” Henry seemed to sit there and think for a moment.
“Well, what’s going on?” he asked. Could I trust him? After all, his mom was Regina… How could I trust someone who’s mom was causing all the pain?
“I’m afraid to tell you—I mean… I want to, but your mom…”
“Oh, it has to do with her?” he said.
“I’m afraid so… I don’t know what to do any more… I’m desperate!” I sneezed, and rested my chin on my knees.
“Uh, you can tell me- I won’t tell my mom if you don’t want me to.” He replied.
I told him all about my job at cleaning everyone’s clothes, and not being payed enough, and not having time to do homework which made me have bad grades.
“And so, I’m going to quit…” I sumed it up.
“Quit? Is it really that bad?”
“I’m afraid so…. It’s a must-do.” I said. I felt like a heavy sack was taken off my back. He looked at his watch, and frowned.
“I’d like to help. Can we talk tomorrow? I—have a, uh, meeting at home….” He said. I smiled.
“Sure. I won’t quit until we talk tomorrow, ‘kay?” He nodded, and stood up, reaching out his hand. I grabbed it, and he helped me up.
“Do you want me to—walk you home?” he said.
“I wouldn’t wanna make you late, but thanks.” I winked at him, and started off. A few blocks down, Henry ran and caught up with me.
“Here—you forgot your binder.” He said. When he passed it to me, we both smiled, and I blushed. I said a quiet thanks, and continued. I turned once behind me, to see if he was going, and at the same moment, he turned also. I quickly turned around again, turning red.

Ebony-Rose White - 'Snow' - Storybrooke High

“So I can do it?”

“Of course you can, dear!” smiled Mother Superior. “Whatever made you think I would say no?”

I shrugged sheepishly. “I’m not sure to be honest.” I felt stupid for being so nervous. I’d been so scared, it took me a good five minutes to even pluck up the courage to walk into the classroom, let alone to ask the Headmistress about singing on Friday’s game.

“Well, I must be off!” Mother Superior said. “Lots of paperwork to sign and cheques to be sent. We’ll talk more tomorrow, Archie. Oh, and Ebony-Rose, best of luck for Friday. I for one am rather looking forward to hearing our country‘s national anthem being sung for the first time by someone who can actually sing. I mean no offence to Mrs Lo‘s choir team, of course…” she quickly added, before hurriedly shuffling out of the classroom.

I watched her go and felt a rush of nerves mixed with excitement bubbling inside me. Friday’s game was just four days away and I just hoped that would be enough for me to prepare.

“Mother Superior is being far too gentle,” Mr. Hopper’s voice broke my train of thought and I looked up to see him giving me one of his usual warm smiles. “Mrs Lo’s choir team is truly awful ...”

I found myself smiling back as I watched him clear the blackboard. “I didn’t even know you could sing, Ebony-Rose,” he asked conversationally.

“The truth is neither did I, Mr. Hopper,” I replied, “…not until about a year ago, anyway.”

“Oh?” Mr. Hopper turned to face me and crossed his arms with a curious look on his face. “What happened?”

“Well, one morning I was cleaning out the basement for Regina and I found this old guitar that belonged to my dad. Regina wanted me to throw it away, but for some reason I decided to keep it. I guess I thought that if my dad liked to play the guitar, maybe I should give it a try too. From that day on I promised myself I‘d learn how to play it.”

“And you did,” said Mr. Hopper.

I nodded in response. “It wasn’t easy. Regina made it clear she wouldn't pay for guitar lessons, so I had to come up with the money on my own."

"Is that how you got working for her in City Hall?" asked Mr. Hopper.

"Yeah," a tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear and let out a sigh. "It sucks but at least the money I made helped me learn to play."

An emotion flashed across Mr. Hopper’s face at that moment. I couldn’t make out exactly what it was, but it made him stop for a second.

“You’re dad would be proud of you, Ebony-Rose,” he finally said. “You know that, don’t you?”

The genuineness in his tone of voice was one of the reasons why Mr. Hopper was so loved by all the kids here at Storybrooke. Being teenagers we’d never actually admit it, (we’d probably never show it either), but we really did appreciate him as a teacher.

Before I could say anything in response, my cellphone started vibrating in my the back pocket of my jeans. I looked up at Mr. Hopper, half expecting a detention, but he just put his hands in the air and smiled.

"The end of school bell has rung, it's okay for you to answer it."

Half relieved, I reached into my pocket and dug out the phone only to find that it was Regina calling. And then it hit me. My eyes quickly found the clock above Mr.Hopper's board and I sighed in frustration.

I was late for work.

"I'm on my way," I said down the line as I got my things together and hurried out of the classroom.

As per usual, Regina was far from impressed. "Of course you are," she sneered sarcastically. "Where is Henry?"

I rolled my eyes. Not that again. "I don't know, I'm sure he's on his way home too." I didn't know if that was true or not but I was willing to say anything just to shut her up.

"The tardiness in my household is unacceptable. I've sent Sheriff Graham over to pick the two of you up." And with that, she cut the line.

Archie Hopper- Jimminy Cricket- Storybrooke High-

I raised my hands and smiled. "The end of school bell has rung, it's okay for you to answer it."

Miss White smiled in relief and answered the phone while running out the door. I couldn't help but chuckle a little as I gathered up my books and papers, but the feeling soon melted into a somber attitude. I had said something a moment ago that I wasn't sure where it came from.

I had only known Miss White's father by name. I knew he was married to the mayor, before she was the mayor, and that he had died a few years ago. Yet even with only the feintest knowledge of him, it seemed like I had known him much better than that and had a great repect--

My shrink mind came into play and interrupted my feelings with logic. I never really knew Miss White's father so why dwell? Looking at my watch, I realized I was going to be late for my appointment with Mr. Gold. I spotted a very handsome watch in his window the other day that I wanted to buy. But of course, with Mr. Gold you always have to have an appointment.

David Graham-- Prince Charming 1- Storybrooke football field-

Practice was just underway when I saw a familiar looking sherrif car pull up near by. What was he doing here?

"Uh, coach? Mind if I take a minute?" I asked, nodding toward the vehicle. He turned and, once he saw the car, nodded understandingly.

"Sure, David. But hustle."

I nodded too and ran over to where Graham had parked. For some reason, even though we both had the same last name, I have called my brother Graham for all my life, even though I knew his real name. He was Graham and I was David, and that's how life was.

"Graham?" I called. He rolled down the passenger window and smiled.

"Hey, David. What's up?"

"Nothing much. What about you? You don't usually do your rounds until later." Thank you memory for knowing his schedule.

He sighed impatiently, though I was pretty sure the feeling wasn't aimed at me.

"Mayor Thorne's got me looking for Henry and her step-daughter. Miss White was late for work and Henry hasn't shown up yet. You haven't seem them, have you?"

"Well I saw Henry leave about twenty minutes ago. Ebony... I don't know where she is. I think I saw her heading to Mr. Hopper's room."

Graham smiled. "Thanks, David."

"Yeah, no problem. So, why is Regina having you look for them?"

"It's Mayor Thorne, David, and you know why. When they're late she gets terribly worried. She's been really overprotective ever since her husband died."

Overprotective or controlling?

"Plus," he continued, "I can't say no. She pays the bills, remember?"

"Yeah." Not wanting to keep him from his job any longer, I shrugged and motioned back to the field. "Well, I've got to get back to practice."

"Yeah, I'll see you at the station, okay?"

"Sure."

"Hustle, David!" I heard coach shout. "Hustle!"
"Oh please don't tell me you're archaeologists."

Jasmine "Leigh" Spring| Mulan| Home → The Streets| 7:00pm

It seemed a long time before she was free but even as Jasmine waved a polite goodbye to her unsuccessful suitor, she was already thinking of the window.

"Well he was nice," her mother said hopefully. "Perhaps we ought to have them around again."

Jas was still thinking about that window and a very different boy with sandy hair and just about the most insolent smile she had ever seen.

"Jasmine?" her father asked and she snapped awake.

"Oh, sorry. Very nice," she agreed quickly before raising her arms and faking a yawn. "I'm sorry, I'm just very tired. I'd like to go and read in my room if that's alright?"

Her parents said it was and it was all she could do not to race up those stairs; Leigh was in charge now. Upon reaching her room, Leigh locked the door and lifted a loose floorboard up, revealing a hollowed out space in the floor. She pulled out a bundle of clothes that were a little soiled but she didn't care.

There was a white cloth that she bound around her chest because Leigh didn't have breasts and they only got in the way. Then she pulled on a brown top, khaki combat pants and a baggy, green jumper to keep her warm. She twisted all of her hair into a bun and grabbed the cap, pulling it down over her head. Then combat boots and she was done.

Mulan left out of her window. If it had been later, she'd have crept down the stairs and used the fron door but mother and father were probably still up and talking about what a disapointment their daughter was. That thought made her heart burn.

But she had to, she couldn't resist. When she was out there she felt in control of her life and she felt like she was actually important for who she was and not who she was supposed to be.

Striding along the streets in her best immitation of the way boys walked, she at last came upon Jay leaning against the side of a building.

"Hey man, what up?" Alright so Jas hadn't been doing this that long, only for the last two months or so and she still felt awkward in her disguise. But she was starting to get the hang of it and the boys hadn't found her out yet. "Will you be meeting up with that gang of yours? Think they'd let a tough looking boy like me join up?" She was tired of being left behind when they went off doing whatever it was that gangs did.

I turned on my laptop, and went to my email. I began to write a message:
Dear Ebony-Rose White,
I am writing concerning you vocal abilities.

Man! This sounds stupid! I started again:
Hi Ebony-Rose,
How are you? I heard that you were going to sing on Friday... I never knew you could sing... I, personally, love singing, and so does Gretta. Could you find a time when we could practice together maybe? I think it would be good for Gretta to show her talent to others besides me, and maybe you can tell her if you think she has a talent.... Same goes for me. If you could find a time, it would be great!
Thanks!
Jake

That's better. I sighed.
"Hey Jake, you wanna practice a while?" said Gretta. I nodded, taking out my guitar.
"We should practice singing together more. Let's harmonise..." I said. We began singing the song "Hey soul Sister" by Train. We smiled.
When you really want to slap someone,do it and say "Mosquito!"
