Where your character is at the moment: Living with his brother, the sheriff of Storybrooke, and attending Storybrooke High School. Occasionally takes fencing lessons with his friend, the mayor's step-son.

Where your character wants to be: Traveling. He would love to visit Australia and play rugby, but that doesn't seem to be a plausible idea. He loves his brother, but sometimes it's a bit suffocating. The sheriff would rather have David stay in Storybrooke and become a deputy.

Up for love: Yes, prefferably with Snow White. ;D

Other: He's on the football team.

Fairy tale Name: Snow White

Storybrooke Name and Nickname: Ebony-Rose White ‘Snow’

Age: 16

Gender: female

Appearance: Petite in figure, Snow is a beautiful girl who prefers to hide her looks, choosing to not wear makeup and dress in simple, dark colored clothes. The only ornate thing she owns is a butterfly hair clip that once belonged to her mom. She wears it all the time and hardly ever takes it off except when she’s around her step-mom.

Spoiler
Image

Personality: Snow is a kind, gentle and caring girl. She’s also very quiet and finds it hard to let people get too close to her. She likes to be around friends who are fellow outcasts like herself because they are the only people she feels comfortable being around. She hates more than anything vain people who only care about what they look like on the outside instead of what they look like on the inside.

One of her weaknesses is that she lacks confidence and cant stand up for herself, this is because she’s spent most of her life constantly being put down by her step-mom (the town mayor) who would always tell her that she wasn’t good enough for anything. Snow almost believed her until she discovered her father’s guitar one evening while cleaning out the basement. Since then she’s found her confidence in playing music and singing. Snow also loves animals and being around nature. One of her daily routines is to walk through the park after school to feed the birds and pick fresh flowers.

Where your character is at the moment: She’s currently living with her strict step-mom Regina Thorne and her step-brother who she attends Storybrooke High with. After school, she works as her step-mom’s personal assistant in City Hall. But when she’s not in school or slaving after her step-mom, she spends her day in her attic bedroom, or her ’Tower’ as she likes to call it, sitting by the window with her guitar, writing and singing songs about freedom and true love.

Where your character wants to be: She wants to free herself from the clutches of her step-mom and make something of her life. She wants to find love and explore the world. She wants to share her music and inspire people like her who feel like outcasts. Her step-mom calls it a ‘silly’ dream, and one that ‘will never happen’, but Snow is determined to prove her wrong.

Up for love? Only if it’s true love

Other: She doesn’t know it yet, but her step-mom currently has Sherrif Graham follow her around town to keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn't stray from her step-mom's rules

Stupid yws deleted my edited post that was HUGE. So angry. :p *Personality Unfinishished- be up soon!*

Fairy tale Name: Red Riding Hood

Storybrooke Name and Nickname:Rose 'Lil' Red' Lucas

Age: (13-16) 16

Gender:Female

Appearance:

Spoiler
Image

Just like in the picture, Rose has a very defined face- high cheek bones and full, lip glossed lips. Always wears make-up, but not in overly karge amounts. Her hair is usually straightened, but if you catch her at the diner, it curls endearingly up at the ends. She's not very tall- rather short at 5'1- but extremely curvy. She uses those curves in her dressing choices- she's not bare-all, but she's a bit low-cut and short skirts. She always wears a red something- red converse, red tank top, red jacket, red scarf- just not all at the same time.

Personality: (Strengths, weaknesses, likes and dislikes)[/b] *Since the SB has already started, I'll be brief.*

Everybody knows Rose as the usually slinkily dressed girl, whose a huge flirt and very suggestive. They think of her as the party girl, who doesn't care about school. They don't know that she's a virgin, too scared of pregnancy to cross the big line, but has crossed every line before that. People don't know that she parties to let go of the world, to get rid of her silly insecurities. They don't know that she's a hard worker, a lonely girl with only false relantionships, whose trying to work her way out of Storybrooke. They don't think of her as a stubborn girl who has to be right, has to win the arguement- or she'll go out of her way to float your boat and make you so annoyingly right it isn't even fun anymore. They don't know that she's clever, and that she knows people like the back of her own hand- but doesn't know when to use it or apply it, so it's mostly useless.

They don't know she thinks she's worthless.

Where your character is at the moment: Legally living with her parents, Rose usually sleeps and her Grandma's. Her Dad's a drunkard, and all her Mom does is cook like nothings wrong. Rose works off her butt at the Diner, and parties to let loose. Just broke up with boyfriend-of-the-month, who was a member of the smae gang Jay's in. It was "mutual agreement".

Where your character wants to be: Somewhere out of dreary Storybrooke- travel a bit after High School, then move to a small city and open a diner of her own. Maybe attend a Buissness college for two years, the longest she can tolerate. Rose wants to find friends who understand her, and a guy who will love her for her.

Up for love?Rose doesn't even know what love is- even for sixteen- but I think she'd love for you to try. :)

Other:She has a Great Dane named Wolfie who follows her around EVERYWHERE.

Spoiler
Image

(Maybe once my computer gets fixed, he can turn human? ;))

Rose also has bad eyesight, but doesn't want to wear 'reading' glasses and her case isn't severe enough for contacts- plus she's scared to polk herself in the eye. XD

Hey all! Okay, so I've sent one last reminder to those who haven't put up their profiles yet. If they need more time, that's fine, but we will still be starting this on Monday as planned. In the mean time I'll just let you all know what's going to be happening so you can start planning your first posts:

Summer break is over and it's the first day of the new school year. Mayor Regina Thorne will be making a guest appearance during assembly where she'll be giving her annual 'welcome back to school' speech. Your character (if your a student) will be in the audience listening (or pretending to listen  ). If anyone needs help bringing in their character please PM me and I'll be happy to help.

Okay guys, so I declare this SB officially up and running! Apologies for the length of my first post, I just needed to get this all in for the introduction part. Enjoy :D

Regina Thorne - 'The Evil Queen' - Storybrooke High

Regina Thorne was surrounded by local Press as she stepped out of her limo. This morning she was visiting Storybrooke High where she was scheduled to give a speech in celebration of the new school year. As microphones and cameras were shoved in her direction, Sheriff Graham and other police officers formed a barricade to escort her safely into the building. On her way up the steps, Sydney Glass from the Storybrooke Post managed to catch up to her and Regina knew she had no choice but to say a few words. Sydney, of course, wasn’t just any journalist. He was her employee.

“Madam Mayor, can you tell our readers why it’s so important for you to speak with the students of Storybrooke High?”

Regina smiled charmingly at the rehearsed question before responding with her rehearsed reply. “Well, Mr. Glass, I firmly believe that our children are our future. As a mother myself I know how important it is to inspire, guide, and push my own son so that he may achieve great things. So as the mayor of this great town I feel that it is my duty to play my part in inspiring, guiding, and pushing other young people so they may one day be able to achieve the same.”

With that, Regina waved goodbye to the rest of the press and followed Sheriff Graham and the other officers inside the school. Waiting at the entrance was Mother Superior, Storybrooke High’s short, round faced headmistress. She stood stiffly with her hands behind her back and a nervous smile on her face.

“Madam Mayor,” the headmistress half-curtseyed, her tone of voice half shaky and half business-like. “Thank you for coming. Please, follow me to the auditorium. The children are just taking their seats.”

Regina obliged with another one of her charming smiles. The truth was she really had no interest in giving a speech to a bunch of useless teenagers. But as the mayor she had to keep up appearance and that meant turning up to do ‘kind’ things such as this to show the town that she actually cared.

Once inside the auditorium she could hear all the hustle and bustle coming from the students. They were shouting across the room, laughing, throwing paper planes at each other and other things that made Regina’s blood boil. Trying to calm them down was Archie Hopper, one of the teachers at the school. He was dressed in his usual knitted jumper and corduroy braced pants, along with that annoying umbrella of his that never seemed to leave his sight. His attempts to calm the students down seemed to eventually work and by the time Regina and Mother Superior stepped out onto the raised deck, the auditorium had quietened down.

“Good morning, Madam Mayor,” Archie greeted sheepishly, just noticing Regina’s presence.

“Archie.”

As Mother Superior, made her usual new year announcements, Regina took the time to scan over the familiar crowd of students sitting before her: the tall blonde cheerleader with horrifically multicolored hair; the brown haired over-achiever; the slim, boyish tomboy; the pale, curly-haired laundry girl; the provocatively dressed red-head, and of course, her step-daughter Ebony-Rose who, as usual, was sat at the very end of the auditorium, arms-folded, shoulders slouched, in her own little bubble. As Regina scanned the boys she realised to her horror that her son Henry was missing. A muscle ticked under her eye as she remembered the number of times that boy had been late for school. This was unacceptable, not just for Henry but for her. What would people think? The mayor preaching to students about discipline and hard-work while her own son doesn’t bother to turn up to school on time?

Regina was so angry, she hardly realised when Mother Superior introduced her as the guest-speaker. It wasn’t until Archie signaled her to step up to the microphone that she managed to snap out of her thoughts.

“Thank you, Mother Superior,” Regina began, “for the introduction. I am honored to be here and just as excited as you all for the start of the new school year ...” she paused and looked around. Hardly any of the hundreds of faces resembled anything like excitement. In fact, most of them looked exhausted, fed up and sad. Regina smiled satisfyingly. With exception to her son Henry, she had always thrived on the misery of others, but in this world, the misery tasted that much sweeter.

Ebony-Rose White - 'Snow White' - Storybrooke High

I zoned out pretty much throughout Regina’s entire speech. I noticed how she had an almost satisfied look on her face the entire time she talked. It was like she knew she was torturing us, but she was still doing it anyway just because she knew she could. It was just so fake. All of it, from her words to that smile on her face. She didn’t care about any of us here. To her this was just another chance to win people over.

After what seemed like the longest half hour of my life, Regina finally ended her speech with one of her usual fake smiles and we were all practically ordered to stand and clap by Mother Superior. I stood up lazily with the others and did as I was told. Mother Superior’s clapping was the most enthusiastic and loud. The rest of the staff tried to follow her lead, but I noticed Mr. Hopper just brought his hands together only twice before stopping. He clearly wasn’t interested and it made me smirk. At least there was one other adult in this school who gave Regina the attention she deserved.

None.

The bell rang soon after and we all grabbed our bags to head for class. On my way out I passed Rose Lucas who was stopped in her tracks by Mother Superior.

“Miss Lucas, what in god’s name are you wearing?” she asked the red-head, for what must’ve been the tenth time judging by the exasperation in her voice. “How many times do I have to say this before it reaches those ears of yours? The dress code of Storybrooke High is modest clothing-”

I lowered my head and carried on walking to class.

“Ebony-Rose.”

I paused and rolled my eyes at the sound of Regina’s voice. “What do you want now?” I mumbled, but it was too quiet for her to hear. I quickly took out my mom’s butterfly hairclip and turned just in time to see Regina walk up to me, a frown wrinkling her otherwise perfect face.

“Where is Henry?” she whispered. “Why isn’t he here yet?”

I gave her a look. “How am I supposed to know? He’s your son.”

Her frown turned for the worse. “Don’t you dare be smart with me, young lady. I gave you the responsibility to make sure he gets to school on time.”

“He did get to school on time,” I said, half-rolling my eyes in annoyance. “We walked here together.”

“Well then where is he?”

God, she was annoying. “Maybe he’s skipping assembly.” I suggested. It wouldn’t be the first time …

Regina shook her head in dismay. “What am I going to do with that boy?”

It was a rhetorical questions so I didn’t bother saying anything back apart from, “I need to get to class.”

“Find him!” she ordered in a loud whisper. “Find him and make sure he gets to his class on time!”

I half-opened my mouth. “But I’ll be late for my cl-” I might as well not have bothered. Before I could even finish my sentence she was gone.

Growling in frustration, I slung my backpack over my shoulder and walked off to find my step-brother. I knew he liked to hang out with David Graham in the football field, so I figured I might as well start there.

Isabella Stonell - 'Belle' - Storybrooke High

That whole assembly was somewhat boring and amusing. No one was paying attention - including me - and when it ended, It looked like everyone was clapping because it was over.

I was really hoping I could read more books this year, but focusing on schoolwork is always top priority. Oh, and my job. I saw my friend Snow, as we call her, exit the auditorium and realized that I had the same class as her for first period.

Pushing my long chessnut hair from my brown eyes, I grab my back and peacefully make my way to Chemistry. Rachel was with her perks the whole time. I glance away as I see Snow pass the classroom window - probrably looking for her step brother - and open my blank notebook.

"Isabella," The teacher says, "Remind us what H2O stands for?"

I nod, flashing a confident smile, "Water. Hydrogen, Oxygen," I simply say.

Everyone seems to have stared out into space in this subject. But to me, education is practically life.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!

*YWS deleted my post again. Grrr. :( How'd you know Rose was red-head when the picture wasn't working, Coco? Haha.*

Rose Lucas- Little Red Riding Hood- Storybrooke High

School was stupid.

Even the Mayor seemed to think so, with her scornful glare across the audience of kids. Obviously, our education was pretty useless if the Mayor even seemed to think that it was pointless- and if the kids themselves seemed dead on their feet. Mother Superior should really stop trying- or at least Mayor Thorne could make School optional- that would be perfect. Working at the Cafe full-time and partying on my days off- that's the kind of life that would be perfect for Lil' ol' Rose Lucas. Except, I was stuck in this world, and had to attend what novelist would later call 'The Most Boring Junior Year Ever' - I'd write it myself, if I cared enough. I don't.

I examine my red nail polish as the Mayor goes on about our great achievements- yes, we have a school full of a geniuses in her head!- and how proud she is of us. Ha. That's funny. I don't think she really gives a damn. Finally- finally!- she steps from the podium and lets Mother Superior dismiss us.

I fish out my schedule from my bra, the one Granny made me bring.

It's the first day, Rosie. You can at least make an appearance in all of your classes.

I love her, I do, but she should realize by now that I'm not that terrible of a skipper- I attend all my classes on the first day. It's after that, when I pick and choose. I get down from the bleachers, making it to the entrance to the hallway when I feel the loud stomps of a human hippo behind me.

Mother Superior.

I don't try to get away, but try and make up an arguement for my outfit as I turn around.

“Miss Lucas, what in god’s name are you wearing?” The exasperation in her voice hurts me a bit. She's a regular customer at the cafe, and I know that she like her sasuage with whipped cream- you'd think that, after that, she'd have a little slack for me. “How many times do I have to say this before it reaches those ears of yours? The dress code of Storybrooke High is modest clothing of reasonable length.” Her eyes seem to capture my barely-butt-length jean skirt and revealing red tank top in one swing. "Rosie," her voice seemed to soften, "I know you're better than this."

The kindness in her voice sears straight to my fist, and I clutch the schedule in my hand. I can handle being scolded, but being fondled in hardly bareable. She thinks she knows the real me, Superior does, just because she's seen me normal and happy. Seen me at the cafe. "Not here. Here I'm not better." I tell her softly, than raise my voice to state my original arguement. "I also know the dress code, I'd just forgotten it in a Summer haze." I give her a nodd, then whirl around to walk away, silently stating that I was done.

"Miss Lucas!" Her voice is harder too, hard as she can get. It hurts. "Cover up and don't let me see you dressed like that again!"

I don't turn around to respond, but I throw on a sweatshirt before heading to Spanish.
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.
