I take deep breaths before my stomach grumbles. I lean over the toilet and...ugh. I lean against the wall, thinking I'm going to be in here for a while.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I hold Rayah close as she...yeah, and try my best to comfort her, "Lean against me, Ray. Rest. This...this is gonna take a lot out on you. Let me hold you up. I won't let you do this alone."
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I follow her to her room, but don't lie beside her, taking the chair by the desk instead. I keep hurting her...emotionally and physically. How is this healthy for the both of us?
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I hurry to Rayah and scoop her up and bring her into her bathroom, curling my legs beneath her for her to sit on. I lean her against me and stroke the side of her arm with my thumb.
"Relax," I whisper, "I'm right here."
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
Worried for her, I decide to try and get her mind off of the pain or whatever else she's going through. She squeezes my hand to the point I think it'll break but I say nothing to lead on so. She comes first. I should have thought of that before this mess started. I kiss her neck and nudge her face with my forehead.
"Think about something else, Ray," I whisper, "It'll be over soon."
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I double over again, a hand on my stomach, and bring a hand to my forehead, feeling like crap. I let go of his hand and rest my arms on my legs, taking another breath. "I.." I trail off. "I want to eat," I said.
