I smile back just as he motions the waitress over. He orders food and The waitress looks at me. "Oh um, No thanks I'm fine with coffee," I smile at her before looking back outside.

" Being a coffee shop, all we have are are goodies. Like brownies, cookies , etcetera."
The guy ordered and I looked at Clove, who didn't suspect anything. I took the time to look at her closely and I could see a strange brightness in her eyes.
She said she was fine with coffee.
I longed to reveal myself and the dangers I now knew was all around me, in the people walking outside , to the architecture itself.
I paused, opening my mouth, then decided against it and went back inside the kitchen.

I order some chocolate chip cookies and listen as Clove refuses. The waiter hesitates, opening his mouth to say something, before heading back off to the kitchen. Confused and outrageously ravenous, I sip on my coffee and take a deep breath, unintentionally humming a tune I'd picked up over the years.

" Here." I gave the cookies wrapped in a paper bag to him. He smiled and payed. " Come on then, Clove!" She grinned and stood up, nodded a farewell to me and walked off with the guy beside her. They chatted and the guy held up his bag of cookies and gestured for her to take one. She did and they exited through the door, looking and sounding like a real couple. I sighed, shifted back and ran a hand through my messy, black hair. Maybe I should just leave them alone.

I thank the waiter for the bag of cookies and stand, leading Clove towards the door. Holding it open for her, I still get the feeling we're being watched. I shrug it off and follow her out.

Sunset. I stiffen, glancing up to see how much time I have left.
"Uh..." Could I tell her? Could I trust her with what happens once the moonlight hits me? "Sure."
I swallow and drop to the ground, waiting for her to take the spot beside me. My heart races and my nerves jump. Please...Don't let her shut me out after this. Have her give things a chance.

He tenses and I sit next to him, looking out onto the water. I see all the colors and smile at this, not seeing one on a while, well, not a sunset as beautiful as this one. I glance over at him and flash a smile. " You alright?"
