Rebecca Scout
Good, this is it. I thought as Oscar swept past where Lucifer and I were hiding. He knocked on the door and it was opened by Sasha. She looked nervous, like she didn't want him coming inside.
Wait, where was Sean? Still inside, talking to her, maybe? No matter, in a moment they'd both be dead.
I heard no gunshots. Lucifer and I extanged confused glances and edged towards the door. I geld my gun out, close to my face and ready to shoot. I kneed the door so it burst open, then pointed my gun at Sasha. She was going down first.
"Wait, don't!" Sean held out his hand. My eyes narrowed, and I instantly understood. In just seconds she had pulled him under her spell. If I ever thought I was mad before, I was furious now.
"Why not?" Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Oscar was pointing a gun at my head. "I think I owe you this one, Scout."
Lucifer pointed a gun at him. Sasha pointed one at me. Sean didn't draw a gun. What the hell was he doing?
I saw Sasha edge closer to Sean, keeping her gun tailed at me. I couldn't believe Sean was letting her do this. Betrayal coursed through me. I wanted to scream. I wanted to cry. I was pissed.
Suddenly, I cleared all the emotions out of my head. Before Oscar could even react I pulled the trigger on him, shooting him on his hip. I ducked as Sasha fired a bullet at me, then wound around to shoot her. I heard another shot as Sean finished Oscar off, then looked where Sasha and I were standing, pointing guns flat out at each other.
"Rebecca, please, I have a son. I couldn't do that to him. Please, Becky, please," She was begging now. Deep down, she knew I was the better shot. I looked over at Sean, who was standing over Oscar's body, glowering at the soiled mess that was my ex. He made eye contact with me, and all I could see was hate in his eyes.
I shot her arm, and felt no pity as she stumbled to the ground, clutching her shoulder. She began to cry, sputtering words I didnt understand.
"Use the sheets as a wrap," I practically spat the words at her. Lucifer walked out the door, abd I followed her, slamming the door shut in Sean's face. If he wanted to stay, he could. One more act of betrayal.

I ran out the back of the hotel, Lucifer close in front of me. I stopped short, and she turned around to look at me, "Are you coming?"
"Give me a moment," I said, and looked towards the door. I knew she understood, and she nooded to me as she continued to walk towards the van.
I stood against the wall, gun in one hand. The second I watched Sean protect Sasha I had made a realization that I knew would haunt me later.
I was in love with Sean.
