Zoey

We are walking down the hallway. I see Lydia close her eyes. She’s talking to someone, I can tell. Then, she opens her eyes and kisses Nile’s cheek. That’s so disgusting. They barely know each other. But, we continue to walk. We walk into a big room and sit, forming a circle.

Nile Book

I would have never thought about it being her birthday maybe a ex boyfriend but not that maybe I must trust her more."I'm sorry" I say sadly.
“It is fine. Don't worry about it.” Lydia open her blue eyes and kisses my cheek.
Mr.Mcfarland walk over to us "So who was the sender and receiver I would like some feedback."
"I was the sender and how do you think I did Lydia?" I asked looking at Lydia.
"Well he did get the message through but I think got i mixed up a little that's all" she said.

So sorry I have not posted in a while. I will try to get on as much as I can . I have the flu.

Mr. McFarland

I see Lydia and Nile stop, so I walk over. “I would like some feed back.” I say.

“I think I got a little mixed up, that's all.” She says.

“It is all about concentration. If you loose focus even for a second, you could misunderstand completely. Nile please work with Kale for a few minutes. He might prefer working with a peer more.” I say. I go and watch Katie and Zoey for a minute. I am pretty sure Zoey is the one sending the message. Katie looks like she is getting it.

About a half hour passes and it is time for me to go. “Okay guys work on this is your spare time. We are Aura reading tomorrow and in order to do that , we have to go see and Aura. I will be here tomorrow at 9 o'clock and we will leave at 10. Someone lock the door.” I say and I leave.

Lydia

Mr. McFarland ask Nile if he will help Kale. I know he could not say not so I go upstairs to my secret room. The sun is setting and it is beautiful. I am glad I have this place to relax. I am the only one who knows it is here. I close the sliding glass door and stand out on the balcony. This moment is almost perfect. It does not feel the way it use to when I was sad and had no friends here, but it does not feel the same. I feel lonely. I want Nile to be here. I want him to stand here with me to watch the sunset. I try really hard to send him a message, but I do not know if it will work.

"Come upstairs and pas my room. There is an empty room with a hidden door. Open it and walk upstairs and come outside with me. Make sure no one is following you." I say.

Nile Book

I helped Kale a little and after I went to the kitchen to get some water and had a strange thing happen. I just sat down and I felt the something as when we where doing are lesson so I open my mind up.
"Come upstairs and pas my room. There is an empty room with a hidden door. Open it and walk upstairs and come outside with me. Make sure no one is following you."
I send back "how do I know where the hidden door is when I cant see it for it is hidden"
'Fine I'll come down and get you just be in that room when I get there" she said.
So when I get to the room I look around and i don't see her so I wait then a piece of the wall opens up and Lydia comes out."Hay come on up it's really a nice place up here" she says and takes my hand then leads me up the stairs.
Wow this is a great place I wish I would have found it first it would have been nice to show you but i still like it" I said.

Few lessons later

Mr.Mcfarland said "we are going on a little vacation to the lake for 3 days so get your swimming gear and meet at the van in 20 minutes."

Lydia

“What?” I ask Mr. McFarland.

“We are going to the lake. Did you not here me?”

“I did.” I search for an answer. “I just do not have a bathing suit.”

“You can borrow one of mine.” Zoey says. “We are the same size.” She says running up the stairs. I nod and follow her.

When I get to the room there is a pinks bikini lying on my bed. “Why do you not have one?” Zoey asks.

“Never needed one. It was always to cold.” I say.

“Well that sucks.” She said.

“I go into my closet and change. I put a short dress over it so I will not totally freeze to death. I pack some extra clothes in a bag. I get all the things I need and head to the car. I am going to dread this I can already tell. Just keep calm and do not worry about it.

I put my bags in the back and go back in side and wait for Nile. When he comes out he grips my hand and we walk to the car. He opens the door for me and I jump in and then her slides in beside me. I lay my head on his shoulder and try to fall asleep; this is going to be a long ride.

Nile taps me on the shoulder and wakes me up. “We’re here.” He says. He gets out of the car and pulls me out.

“Great.” I say. I try to sound cheerful, but you can most likely see right through me. Mr. McFarland leads the way to the cabin we are staying in.

“I will give you a chance to settle in and then you can go out to the lake. We go down as a group though, so do not take to long. Girls you get the bedroom on the on the far side of the house and guys the room closest to the front door.” I slowly walk to my room, but Zoey pulls me to unpack.

After everyone is done packing. The guys run to the lake and jump off the dock. Zoey is not too far behind them. I take off my cover up and lay it on the dock. “Come on Lydia jump in.” Kale says. I stick my toe in the water.

“Are you crazy? This water is freezing.” I take a few steps away from the edge. My heart is pounding in my chest.

Nile Book

I got into the van after packing black and white shorts and some white t-shirts with a pair of blue jeans. I sat beside Lydia and she rested her head on my chest through he whole ride.

When we finally stopped I nudged her lightly till she awoke. Mr. McFarland told us that the girls are to sleep at the far end of the cabin while the boys are to remain closes to the door. I unpacked and changed Into my trunks and joined everyone outside at the beach.

Lydia

I walk back and forth on the dock and listen to them taunting me. “Get in Lydia.” They all say. I look down and see them kicking their feet up, so I know none of them can touch the bottom. Kale pulls himself out of the water and starts to walk towards me. “Come on Lydia, don’t be a downer.” He says.

“Don’t you dare.” I say backing away. I step back. I look back and see the edge of the dock. As he inches closer to me, I inch closer to the edge. Out of no where he runs at me a throws me in the water.

I kick my feet rapidly to keep my head above the water. I flap my arms around. I am farther away from the dock and other people. My legs begin to slow and I begin to sink. I gulp for one last think of air and sink.

My lungs beg for air. They are on fire. The sun light gets smaller and smaller as I sink to the bottom. Water fills my mouth. I am going to die I just know it. I try to kick my legs, but I can’t

Nile

I see Kale throw Lydia into the water and she starts to freak out so I start to swim over to her and calm her down. then she starts to go under the water and I speed my swimming up and dive under the water to grab Lydia. then my head fills with "I am going to die I just know it."
I send back well grabbing her "no you are not I'm right here so hold on I'm here for you." I bring here to the surface of the water and started to swim for the shoreline and picked her up and put her down and started CPR."Lydia don't die I never got to say I love you" as I said I love you she started to breath a spit out water.
"I love you too Nile" she said and closed her eyes and went limp so I carried her to the cabin to rest.

Lydia

I wake up in the bedroom of the cabin. I head feels heavy and my throat hurts. When I try to sit up, a huge sting of pain comes from my sides. I look out the window and see the sun setting. I look around the room and see Nile asleep in the chair next to my bed. He waited for me to wake up. A small smile comes on my face. I look down and see I am still in my bathing suit. I slide out of bed quietly and grab the clothes out of my bag. I go to the bathroom and change into some jeans and a T-Shirt. I look in the mirror. My face is really pale and I have bags under my eyes. A chill rushes through my arms. I walk out of the bathroom and back into my room, where Nile is still asleep. I sit on the bed and send him a message. “Thank you for staying with me.” I say. His eyes open and he smiles.

“Your welcome.” He says.

“I am sorry I ruined you Vacation.” I say. Sit on the edge of the bed across from him.

“You did not ruin it.” He says. He wipes a piece of hair off of my face. “ Do you remember anything?” He asks.

“I remember going under and you saving me. Then you said you loved me and I do not know if I said it back.” I stand up and grab his hand. He stands up and I wrap my arms around him. “So I love you to.” I say. I kiss him gently then lay head on my shoulder. I was right. I am in love.

Com on we need others to do more

Mr. McFarland

“You can go out with the others and I will stay here are watch her.” I say. Nile sits in the chair staring at Lydia.

“I can’t leave her.” He says. I nod and leave the room. I try to think what we can do tomorrow that will be safe for Lydia and the others at a lake. I go to the activity center and look on the board. Then it hits me. We can go rafting. It requires you to wear a life jacket so you can’t drown.

“ I would like to request this for six please.” I say. The director nods and I pay him. This is going to be an experience worth remembering.

Zoey

"We're going rafting? Are you crazy?" I heard Nile shout. "Lydia almost died yesterday!"
"Everyone has to wear a life jacket. She can't die, Nile." Mr. McFarland said.
“Nile, I’ll be fine. I trust him.” Lydia said.
“Lydia, this isn’t going to be good. I sense it.”
I walk into the room.
“We’re going rafting today.” Nile says to me.
“So I’ve heard. Lydia is going to be fine Nile. I just know she will.” I say.

Nile

"What really why I don't think this is a good idea!" I said
"Well every one has to wear a life jacket. She cant die Nile" Mr McFarland said.
Lydia looked at me and said "Nile I'll be fine I trust him."
i look around and see that every one thinks it is going to be fine with it "Ok but I get to be close to Lydia ."
So we all get into the van and head to the start of the river where we get the raft and life jackets and I start to think about giving Lydia two but be for ei could we where off and running.
