Arabella--

The feel of his fingers through my hair caused me to shiver involuntarily. He grinned, obviously pleased by this reaction.

I ran my hand gently across his face, up through his hair. He closed his eyes a bit more. I leaned down slowly, letting my lips meet his.

Ramere-

I closed my eyes and kissed Arabella deeply, passionately, for what could've been an eternity for all I knew or cared. I sent small streams of magic seep into the kiss as her fingers continued to trace across my chest and face. I felt her own magic added to her touch. I wrapped my arms around her and we floated there, suspended in mid-air by my magic.

Caspan-

I hugged Kayla. "And I'm sorry for not realizing that going so far up was a bad idea."

"So are we even?"

I grinned slightly. "For now."

Arabella--

As I kissed Ramere, I allowed my hands to come to a rest, wrapping my arms lightly around his neck. As we kissed, a slowly poured more and more magic into him.

He kissed back, obviously losing focus in other things.

After a moment I noticed that we were sinking slowly. I resisted the urge to laugh, and kept kissing him, keeping him destracted.

The wonderful moment passed slowly, and then we were falling quickly.

Ramere-

If someone had walked up to me at that moment and asked me what the most mischievous creature in the world was, I would've answer without a moments hesitation: women.

You just couldn't trust them.

I gave an exasperated sigh before focusing again and feeling my body jerk to a stop, Arabella still laying casually on my stomach. I glanced down and, to my great annoyance, found myself to be mere inches from the ground. I looked up into Arabella's eyes.

"You are a wicked person, Arabella," i said, smiling. Then I kissed her again, quickly, before allowing us to sink back down onto the hard earth.

Arabella--

I grinned wickedly and placed one hand on either side of Ramere's head, pinning him to the ground.

"Wicked, huh?" I asked soflty, putting magic in every word. I knew he would catch the magic, but I was enjoying myself more than I had in a long time.

He nodded slowly in response. I leaned in and ran my lips lightly along his jaw bone, dodging his attempt at kissing me again.

Ramere-

"I said wicked, didn't I?" I asked playfully, twirling a strand of her hair around my finger. She smiled.

"You did."

"Oh, good," I murmured. "That's what I meant to say."

She laughed softly and I could feel the magic she was letting flow into it. I closed my eyes, yawned, and opened them again. Arabella still lay on my chest, smiling down at me with eyes that twinkled with mischief.

"Can I help you?" I asked, raising an eyebrow, knowing instantly I would most likely regret those words in a matter of moments.

Arabella--

I grinned, and leaned into his neck. My breathing was slightly heavier than it had been before, and he shuddered when it hit his neck. One of his hands moved to rest on the small of my back. I grinned, and bit his neck gently after making sure my fangs were safely sheathed.

Ramere's breath caught in his throat. I chuckled, kissing the spot I had bitten lightly and moving to prop myself up above him again. I grinned down at him while he struggled to regain control of his breathing.

Ramere-

Curse women and their foul teasing! And curse Arabella because she knew how to tease!

The spot where I had been bitten felt extremely hot...as did my ears and, though i hated to admit it, my cheeks as well. I struggled to get my ragged breathing back to normal as she stared down at me, smiling a smile I didn't trust in the slightest.

Well, if you couldn't beat 'em, join 'em.

I grinned mischievously. "You're not the only one who can tease, love."

I turned my head to the side and bit down (not hard) on the top of her hand that lay next to my head, being careful to keep my fangs from puncturing her skin. Seeing as her neck was out of reach and I was being pinned down, her hand was the only thing I could reach. But it fit my purposes all the same.

Arabella--

I felt Ramere's fangs, just barely, when he bit into my hand. It sent an odd jolt through me, and I rolled over onto my back. Before I even had time to think, Ramere had rolled and pinned me beneath him.

"Uh-oh..." I murmured, raising my eyebrows at Ramere, who smiled back wickedly.

Ramere-

I chuckled, low and deep. Looking down in her eyes I saw them staring back with curiosity, mischief, and amusement. I smiled a crooked smile back and raised my eyebrows.

"Uh-oh is right. You're at my mercy now."

I lowered my head until our foreheads were touching lightly. One hand ran through her hair, the other one cupped to the side of her face. I let magic flow from both hands.

I brushed my lips across hers lightly and only for a moment, adding magic to that, too, but drawing away after a moment, still smiling crookedly.

Arabella--

I felt my face flush slightly as he pulled back, mostly because I really wanted that kiss.

Stubbornly, I leaned up and kissed him solidly on the lips, then I laid back down.

Ramere stared at me for a moment. "That's just not fair..." he muttered, shakign his head from side to side.

"Why not?" I asked, raising my eyebrows expectantly.

"Either way you win.."

"Pretty much," I nodded my agreement. Ramere growled and leaned down, biting at my neck. Sighing, I tipped my head to the side leaving more room for him to bite.

Ramere-

I bit Arabella's neck, still being careful not to bite too hard for fear of breaking the skin with my sharp fangs. But that only lasted a moment as well before I drew back, grinning widely. She stared back, slightly disappointed.

I chuckled at her expression and kissed her neck, then her forehead, then her lips, each kiss lasting longer that the one before. She let more magic seep into the third kiss. I didn't resist.

For the second time in a few short minutes I completely lost track of time. A feeble thought drifted through my mind, only to be submerged in the magic from the kiss. But the thought gave me a small ounce of amusement while it lasted.

Imagine what Caspan would say...

I could picture his face in my mind, hear his words clearly in my head as if he were standing right in front of me.

"Ew, Ramere and Arabella sitting in a...er...tree! K-I-S-S-I-N-G!"

Chuckling slightly to myself, i thrust the slightly disturbing thought to the side and let myself slip into the magic.

Kayla

I shuddered as I looked up, that damned blackness. "I don't know why it bugs me so, its just one of those weird things that terrify me."

"Oh."

I sighed and clung to him my eyes drooping slightly. I was tired, but I had already been a bother, I wasn't going to admit it.

"tired?"

I shook my head.

"Anyone ever told you you're a horrid liar?"

"Several times" I said weakly.

Christian

I heard Cara sigh contently, "comfortable?"

She moaned happily. I chuckled. "Come on, we'd best get back before we fall asleep up here and get left behind."

"Mmmm."
I just lost the game.

Arabella--

When Ramere finally drew away from my mouth, we were both breathless. He rolled over, and I curled up against him. His arms wrapped around me lightly, holding me to him. He ran his hand lightly up and down my spine.

"Ramere," I said softly, looking up at him.

"Yes?" he questioned. My heart began racing in my ears, and I looked away shyly.

"Urm...nevermind," I decided quickly, buring my face into his shoulder before he could respond.

Ramere-

I smiled to myself while putting one hand under Arabella's chin, forcing her face up. I caught her eyes and held them.

"What?" i asked softly.

Caspan-

I smiled. "Get some sleep. I'll wake you up if anything exciting happens. Right now, I'm just going to try to find the others."
