The Moosehead Tavern [2]

"Twins..." Jace says, still focused on the first one. "You aren't talking about me and Rayah...kids...?"
Rayah stirs and he looks back at her, expecting an answer but shifting focus. Kalen's hand remains on Rayah's, his blue eyes shifting to green.

I finnally get enough strength to open my eyes, I'm against the wall. I start freaking out from shock. When I finnally Compose myself, I let a smile eacape my lips and try to stand up and fall.

I nod again, "Yes two I assume they'll be Rayah's, but thats what I'm getting from the vision." I said

Jace's eyes roll back in his head as he falls on his back, faint. Joseph makes sure he doesn't hit his head on the way down, looking at Rayah.
"You okay?" He asks, moving Kalen's hand.
The little boy's eyes immediately turn back to brown and he passes out almost as quickly as Jace had fainted.

"W-What's going on?" I studdered as I looked at Jace. "J-Jace? Jace?!" I start freaking out as he opens his eyes, "Rayah?"

As I see Jace fall on his back I begin to really think to myself if I should stop telling prophecies that I see, I look at Rayah.

"You alright? I ask.

Jace comes to, Rayah freaking out. He sits up slowly and sets a hand back against her face, bringing her to sit on his lap.
"I-I'm here." He says, still focused on what Kelly just said.
Twins. Oh, God. Twins.

I smiled, knowing Jace was alright. "W-Where's Nic?" I asked trying to stand up but forgot I broke my ankle. "Wow, Epic Fail." I laughed as I hopped on one foot over to Nic. He was gone. I covered my hand with my mouth and checked his pulse. "Nothing." I muttered. I reached into my pocket and pulled out a small vile of healing liquid. I dropped some in his mouth. "I hope it's not too late." I muttered as he gained clarity. I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my side. That stupid monster Had to squeeze me?

"Well then." I said standing up my body fully healed.

"I think I best get moving while I still have cloud cover, need to find somewhere to hide out until nightfall.I maybe back if you are around." I said.

I looked up at Kelly. "Bye. Thanks for the help." I smiled and stood back up, falling again. "Are you freaking kidding me?"

Jace remembers, watching as Rayah tries to help his brother. He feels it. Nic's gone.
Joseph sets a hand on his shoulder again, truly sorry, and then looks to Kelly.
"I'll stay here with them." He says. "I think it's what's best right now."

I stand up anyway, fighting the pain and walk back over to where Jace was. "I'm so sorry Jace." I kissed him on the cheek and rested my head on his shoulder. "I know how you feel about missing a sibling." I slightly smiled.

Jace tries to smile at Rayah, but can't. His eyes lock on Nic's body and the grief hits him all at once.

I frown, "It'll be okay." I fell backwards into the wall. "Well then." I laughed and tried to stand back up. "Hey, I just lost two sisters in one week. How do you think I feel?" I smiled. "I'll help you through this, I promise."

Jace nods and pries his eyes away from Nic, forcing himself to focus on her.
"I don't know if this is the right time for this, but Kelly said we're gonna have twins...eventually." He says.
