The Moosehead Tavern [2]

"No!" Jace screams. He chases after Rayah, barely getting to her as she falls. Something in her body cracks and he gasps, the sound sending shudders down his spine. Nic runs after him as well, watching as he drops to her side.
"Ray?" Jace whispers, tears falling from his eyes. "Rayah, wake up for me."

I couldn't move, my eyes closed and I was probrably a gonner. I let a moan escape my lips, my ankle broken for sure. The monster laughs and mumbles, "One down, two to go."

Nic watches as the monster reaches towards Jace, searching deep within himself for what he knew he couldn't control once it was out.
I love you, brother, he thinks as his eyes snap shut.
Wind roars around him, the power within him screaming as it releases itself towards the beast. Joseph runs to stop him before it finishes, but is too late.
When light dies down, so does Nic, falling to the floor.

Zeus knew I was hurt. I could sense it. He sent me power, more energy and I snapped my eyes open. "Wha-What happened?" I mumbled as I looked up at Jace.

Joseph gets to Nic as he begins to pale. Jace is torn between helping Rayah and finding out what is going on with his brother.
"Wha-What happened?" Rayah mumbles, stirring.
Jace takes her face in his hands and sniffles. "It-It - "
"Nic, hold on." Joseph says, trying to wake him.
Jace swallows and looks back, his heart leaping in his throat when he sees the state of his brother. Nic isn't breathing, his very being seeming to flicker.

I felt my neck and there was a huge tentacle mark across it and I start to loose contiousness again. "W-what.." I trailed off as I saw almost everyone on the floor. I trailed off and closed my eyes.

Jace looks back at Rayah and shakes his head.
"No, Rayah, stay with me, please." He sobs. "Don't leave me too."

(Okay found out I could stick around for awhile longer.)

Kelly Myers

I pulled myself from my imprint in the ground, I was badly wounded but still very much undead. I fall off to my side and try to speak.

"Help..." I said in a barely audiably voice.

Joseph hears Kelly call for help and leaves Nic, knowing that there's nothing he can do. He helps her sit up and asks if she's okay.

"No Rayah stay with me, Please. Don't leave me too." I hear a voice say. I didn't know who it was. I heard my mom in my head-

You can do it Rayah, keep strong. I know you can. Open your eyes, stay alive. Please.

I couldn't move a muscle.

Rayah! C'mon Honie, do it for me, for Jace. I know your probrably really broken right now but try.

I let out another moan and slightly opened my eyes. "J-Jace...." I said closing my eyes again.

Mom, I can't do it.

(I must be really good at this if your that excited.)

Kelly Myers

I see Joseph come over and notice the monster gone, he asks if I'm alright, I nod to him.

"iI'll need some time to heal, the monster what happened." I ask my fast healing already kicking in.

Lol. Yes. But yeah it wasn't Jace who came to Kelly's rescue. It's Joseph

Jace cradles Rayah in his arms. "Please, baby, come back."
Joseph focuses back on Kelly.
"What happened?" She asks.
"You took the blow for Rayah and Jace." He responds.

(Right my bad! I fixed it.)

Kelly Myers

"I can tell, I thought I was in hell at one point." I said.

I barely got up thanks to Joseph, who slung my arm over his shoulder to help me walk while I held my still fractured ribs.

"Help me to Rayah." I ask.

"Please,baby,Come back." I heard a voice again and was struggling it.

Rayah! This is an order...GET UP.

It was Zeus this time. Shoot.

I-I can't.

Thunder cracked in the sky from his anger.

RAYAH. GET UP.

I let out a moan and tried as hard as I could. I slightly opened my eyes. "Jace?" I was growing weaker.

Zeus, I'm sorry. I don't think I'll make it.
