I nod and stand he leads me away from Jace and I cross my arms. "What?"

"I want you to break up with him."

"What?! No!"

"I'll give you a thousand dollars." He holds it.

I look at it longingly and then over at Jace, "Um..." I couldn't decide.

Jace watches from afar, a sick feeling bubbling in his stomach.

I look at Hermes and snach the money, having an idea. "Fine."
I sneak it in my pocket then walk over to Jace, sitting next to him.

Jace sees her snatch something from him before she sits back beside him.
"W-what was that about?" He asks.

I shake my head. "Nothing. Don't worry about it." I said making sure it was in my pocket.

"I...I have a right to worry about it. He's an a*shole." He says, glancing at Hermes.

I shake my head and Hermes watches me. I shoo him away and he walks away glaring at me over his shoulder. "Just don't worry about it."

Jace studies her, unsure and suspicious.

I shake my head and look at him. "I-I need to tell you something." I said glancing at Hermes making sure he wants me to do this.

Jace glances between them before nodding. "What?"

"Uh I-I um.." I closed my eyes. "I think we should break up."

"You're kidding, right? After everything that happened today...." He glances at Hermes and then back at her, having the slgihtest idea of what this might be.

Hermes nods at me. I stand. "I-I'm sorry Jace." I said starting to walk away with my hands in my pockets.

Jace swears and chases after her.
"If this is his bright idea, you better cut the crap right now." He whispers in her ear. "Either that, or fill me in on the little act you're playing."

I look at Hermes and then Jace. "Just-" Hermes knows whats going on and lifts out 100 more dollars. I take the money out of my pocket and drop it, knowing this is wrong. I scream across the garden, "I'M NOT DOING IT!" He swears and looks at me. I shrug and frown starcasticly. Go to hell!" I yelled, smiling.
