I close my eyes and cuddle against him, trying to fall asleep.

He strokes the side of her face until she's asleep.

I fall asleep, his warmness covering over me. Then my dreams came.

The field was a white as snow. The trees had lines across them like no other and there was a small house over in the corner of the field. Inside that house is where me and Jace lived, with our children. I looked over at Jace and he smiled, our family sitting at the table and I made dinner. I past the soup out and sat next to Jace...

I smiled in this dream, and woke with a start. Jace's arms were wrapped around me and I tried to stand but he kept them locked.

"Stay." Jace groans, half asleep.

I smile and look At him.

Aw. He's so cute when he's sleeping!

I kissed him on the cheek and buried my head in his neck.

Jace smiles, in between a dream and a reality, and leans against her touch.

...The kids dive right into the soup, Jace slipping his hand under the table and setting it on Rayah's knee. Once the children finish, they jump up and beg to be allowed back outside again, to play in the snow. The couple agrees, sitting on the porch to watch them...

Gemini Randa

After a few hours of sleep, I peel myself up from the floor my body finally back to normal. I feel my face and see my left hand bloody, I walk into the bathroom and clean off the blood. I apply a few bandaids to the thin but long cut. I walk back out to see the two lovers on the bed.

I smile and lean my head against Jace's chest again and sighed. "I love you..." I muttered without even realizing it.

Jace stirs, hearing a distant whisper, and smiles, readjusting to get closer to Rayah.

He moves closer to me and I smile, fluttering my eyes open and wrap my arms around his torso.

Something slings around his torso and he smiles again, subconsciously moving towards the motion.

... The skies dim quickly and the snow turns to sleet. Jace and Rayah rush to pick up their children and bring them back to the shelter of their own. Then they notice the ominous figure standing before their door. 'Nice to see you again, Carter family. I hope I'm not intruding'...

He moves closer to me and I smile, closing my eyes again.

...A figure stands by the door and I hold one child in ny left arm. I look at the person and realize who it is. I take a step back and look at Jace, swallowing...

...I look at Gemini, confused. I step closer to Jace, my eyes still on her. 'Why are you here?' I asked.

In my sleep I moved closer to Jace, scared on what might happen.

Jace feels Rayah cuddle closer to him and tightens his arms back around her, sighing in his sleep.

... Malice. Pure malice. Rayah takes the child from Jace's arms after black lightening strikes between them and Gemini. 'My apologies, do I scare the children by any chance?' She asks, slowly approaching them as a smile spreads across their face. Jace stays where he is, staring defiantly back at her. 'If you don't mind me asking, why are you here?' He rephrases Rayah's question...
