I stand and smile, "I'm fine." I look down at Hermes and curse at him in my head. I look back over at Jace and smile, "I lit his hair on fire."

Jace flashes a smile and looks at her wrist, ripping the cuff of his sleeve off and wrapping it around the cut to stop the bleeding.

I smiled at him. "It's just a cut..." I said looking up at him.

Jace smiles. "Nothing is as it seems for you, Rayah. You should know that."

"I should be with you guys at all times since I'm on the clock for the next few months." I said

I looked over the balcony to see a fallen Hermes, his hair burning a blaze. I hoped he would stay down and not bother with any further attacks for awhile now.

I looked at Jace, "What? It's just a cut! It's not like it's gonna kill me." I said looking at my arm. I smiled and take out my knife. "this isn't even that bad." I shrug and hold ny hand out. I slice my knife across it and shrug, "It's not that bad."

Jace swears and takes her knife. "Ray, you've died almost twice in the past two days. Please do not cause yourself any more harm on purpose."

I sigh, "It doesn't hurt!" I cross my arms. I look at him, "It doesn't."

"Ray, it doesn't matter." Jace sighs. "I don't want you doing stuff like this Please, for me."

I sigh, "Fine..." I start walking away towards the pool.

Jace hesitates before following her, sitting in a chair to keep a worried eye on her.

I walk past the pool and jump over the wall and onto the sand to the beach. I sit near the water and take my shoes off, letting my toes touch the water.

Shaking his head at her, Jace smiles and follows her to the beach, keeping his distance.

I start humming a song and close my eyes, moving with the music the waves, provide. I put my hands through the sand and smile to myself.

He sees her relaxing and smiles again, sitting back.
