He glances at the girls and has to stop himself from heading over to shut them up. He looks back at Rose and sighs. "They don't matter. Don't listen to them."
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
"Don't listen. Don't watch. What do you want me to do, sniff them?" I grin and Jack chooses that moment to take a huge whiff of cafeteria air and a growl. I laugh and Nic laughs and it's a connection moment that I don't think I'll forget too soon.
He laughs with her at Jack, shaking his head, and smiles when he looks back at her. "I like you, Rose." He admits. "You're pretty hilarious sometimes."
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
The bell rings, the moment ends and I stand a little shakily, taking Jack's leash firmly in one hand and the tray in the other. "I think it's time for class," I say. "What do we have next?"
He stands, looking at his schedule before taking her tray for her and slipping her hand in his instead. "Chem, remember?" He says. "I think we passed it on the way here."

"Would you mind...skipping chem?" I ask a little hesitantly. I don't want Nic to let go of my hand- mostly because Jack is out of whack today- so I explain myself. "I mean, I thought I felt a band room on my schedule," I say. "I could teach you to play the piano. If you wanted to, of course. You're leading me, so it's up to you." I bite my lip and tilt my head down again.
I grin. "I think I already know where it is," I say. "Follow me!" I order Jack to listen for music and he tugs me to the left and right, up and down stairs until we get to the band room. I feel my way around instruments until I find a piano. I sit on the bench- without sliding off- and feel for the cover. I can tell by the touch that it's a grand piano and I grin. I slide the cover up over the keys, push the middle pedal to the left so the keys are muted, and begin to play.
I spin my blade in hand and then grab it with both hands and slam it into the blade into the glass, I turned it while it was and it caused it to start cracking. I pulled the blade free and a minute later I fall though in a spectacular entrence, I land on my feet and stand perfectly straight in front of two teenager's and smile like nothing happened.
An angel, a knight, a man who will bring light to where there is only darkness, I am the Morning Star, the Bringer of Light, hail to me as I am King Lucifer!
I can't see the keys, but I swear my fingers fly. It's flawless and beautiful- at least to me. I never trust my own ears. Something about being blind heightening all your other senses? I don't know. I feel Nic next to me, Jack on the other side and the keys beneath my fingertips, so I'm in paradise.
He watches her, scooting closer, before someone crashes through the window and lands on the top of the piano. The boy smiles as if nothing happened and looks at them. "Uh...what the hell?" Nic asks, not quite sure what else would suit the moment.
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I brush myself off of any dirt as I listen to one of the teenager's surprise, I chuckle slightly as I looked around the room carefully scaning it. I then look back at the two.
"I make one hell of an enterence." I said with a half smile.
