I swallow and nod, "Lots..." I say, my sister, Jesse bursts in through the door, a knife connected to her belt. I jumped and she walks over to me, pulling me aside.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?!?!" She yells. I shrug, swallowing and take a step back.

He's here for me, I think. He must be. Someone else enters and I can feel they have a knife. The girl screams and I feel another shiver threatening my composure. I try to tap into the powers that I learned to block years ago. My powers? Controlling emotions and the air around me. Which is why I can read vibes so well. It doesn't take much to tap into the powers. Soon, I can feel the shift that means my powers are working.

He notices Nic looking at him and swallows, shaking his head again.

Rose feels different near him, something about her having changed. He looks at her, wondering what it could be.

I whip around, trying to get a feel for the people in the room, but everyone is moving around so much, I can't feel a thing. Finally, I channel all my energy into dialing down the tension. Soon, I hear more casual conversation and sigh with relief.

Dianna

Dianna West

The school day long, my eyes droop and I don't do anything besides draw in my notebook. Scetching has always been my thing, but I've never really grown the trust from anyone else to show it. Just as I finisned a sctech of a rose, the teacher calls on me, "Dianna," She starts, pointing to a world-wide map with her ruler, "Can you tell us...what is the capital of the U.S.A?"

I nod, sighing, and pretend to turn to a blank page in my notebook, and take notes, "Washington D.C," I reply, "Home of the president."

"Can you tell us who the president is currently?"

I nod again, trying to act uniterested, "Used to be Obama," I say blankly, glancing up at her, "But his role is up and people are voting."

She nods, "Very good," She continues blabbering on about American History. I zone her out, my friends passing notes, but have always been the new girl, even though I've moved in about a year ago.

Going with an oldie. My trio. No, this is not the Alex or Jason you already know. These two are the base characters. Lis is the third in my triangle. Have a headache, writer's block, and I don't feel like being creative right now.

Lis

I sit in the back of the classroom, barely listening as one of the girls answers the teacher's questions, and think of everything we'd been through the past few weeks. Alex sits at my side, his head lolled back as he stares up at the ceiling in complete boredom, and Jason at the front of the classroom. I try to regain concentration but end up drifting back into my thoughts again, sighing.

God...how long is this class anyways?

Alrighty then.

Dianna

I end up falling asleep in the middle of the lesson, bored out of my mind, and right on top of my stetches. All I want to do is see my boyfriend. The teacher slams her hand on my desk and I jump, my blonde hair dropping over my eyes.

"Dianna, one more warning and you get a detention," I swallow, nodding, and run a hand through my hair before closing my notebook.

I guess this is what I get for choosing the seat in the front.

Staying silent, The bell rings and I slowly stand, gathering my books.

Liam: Here's a pretty detailed description.
"Angular face
Bottle green eyes
1.68m
Light
Strong
Slim
Bony hands
Dirty Blond hair, spiked up at front sometimes"

And young Alex Pettyfer looks quite a bit like him ;)

[Now, Liam, off you go to this school. Forget what's happened earlier in the novel--with Lauren and everything. *shoves Liam face first*]

Warning, some bad language.

Liam

Blues shoves me past the gates and I almost fall face first into the pavement. Blues was being such a douchebag earlier, acting like he's my mum and whatever. At last. Freedom.

I look at the school and stare in wonder. Dammit, it's big. Buildings dotted around the place with one large one in the middle. I timidly walk inside and the first thing that hits me: This is so American. Just the way they are in movies - lockers, tall ones stacked next to each other; large corridors -- empty now; and an American flag hanging in the far corner. I was in the USA? Blues didn't tell me this. Trust him to randomly send me off there.

The bell rings and suddenly I'm welcomed by a stampede of students, nearly tripping me over. I have no idea where I'm going, so I just follow them blindly, hoping to turn up at the right place. I follow some kids who seem to be my age and follow them into their class. "MATH", it read.

Shit. Couldn't I have followed some other kids?

I quickly turn and try to back out, but the teacher, a tall, young man with dark stubble on his cheeks, catches sight of me and says, "William! You must be our new student. Why don't you sit at the back next to Dianna--Dianna, lift your head off the table please."

With all eyes on me, I slowly drag my feet across the floor and sit next to a sleepy looking blond girl whose face was covered with her hair.

Yeah, I'm gonna need some paper.

I have no idea why Blues wants me here but let's just hope it finishes quickly.

Dianna

F*ck. Bloody hell...

The teacher catches me sleeping again and I groan inwardly, feeling like crap. I remove the hair from my face just as the boy sits next to me and sigh, opening my notebook again.

The teacher looks at me, "Dianna," He says, "Remember to write the notes on the board."

I glare at him, "I-I don't want to... I'm a little off my trolley today..."

He gives me that famous death stare and I stare right back at him before writing the stuff down.

So. Freaking. Confusing.

I look at the boy next to me and see he needs paper, sliding him some but then looking right back at my notebook.

Ariadne

I walk into another new school- the sixth in two years. I figure this won't be much different then the others. Someone will figure out I'm a freak, spread the rumors, and make my life such a living hell that my brother will take me out.

I walk up the steps and look around. No one is near me, so I concentrate my powers and feel myself begin to shapeshift, just like old times. Today, I want to make an impression. And what better way to make an impression than to look like an elf princess? Silver tattoos glow on my arms, and my short, spiked silver hair glows a little, as if it were alive. My usual, boring brown eyes turn to a striking emerald green. My jeans and T-shirt are now a flowing white gown, with swirls of mysterious fog to enhance the magic a bit. I'm Proteus' daughter, so shape-shifting runs in the family. Cool, right? I take a deep breath and walk through the doors, hoping my new appearance will turn some heads.

Okay, so I'm doing this from before anything happened between her and Jacob. So...Jake (Jacob) Is just one of her best guy friends when she talks about him...Oh! And she has freeze vision: Ability to freeze objects and other individuals with one's gaze.

Faith

I walk into the school, books in hand as I open my locker. I slide my phone in my pocket without anyone looking and take my Chemistry book, closing my locker once finished. He said he'd be here...where are you Jake?

Shaking my head, I just forget about him and start walking to first period.

Alright. I think i'm going to go ahead and play bases of Jason and Alex. Hehe. They're my strongest and I neglected them by only using one post... I might have Lis jump in, but I honestly don't want to play three characters. My posts will switch between the brothers depending on who's in the action or alternatively if they're in the same place.

Now, for power-thingies. Jason has superhuman intellect and basically knows everything he should be taught. He also has psychic abilities and some basic power over light/lightning. Alex has normal intellect, but stronger protective skills. So basically, he has empathy and fire manipulation. They're not superheroes though. Their heritage is unknown at this point.

Jason

I walk into the school and straight up to my locker, avoiding just about everyone and focusing on getting to class. Wheeling the combination, I ask myself again why I put myself through such torture as standard classes, only to respond with Alex's Well-you-can't-seem-too-smart-or-else-it'd-be-suspicious. Sighing, I take out my Chemistry and History books and head to first period, my brother somehow appearing at my side in silence. We say nothing as I get to my class, having already had our argument for the day. I sit in the back of the room and groan as the bell rings.

Awesome. Faith has Jackie's smartness -- so freaking smart -- and Rayah's personality and looks...But brown hair. So she's gonna be hard.

Faith

I sit down in class, in the back, and two boys come in too, sitting down. I glance at them before tuning everything out, knowing all this already.

She carries on her lesson from yesterday, calling on me, "Faith...Since you seem to know so much, and not care about this class at all, would you tell us what What the molarity of a solution containing 11.522 grams of KOH in enough water to make 350 mL of solution is?"

I glance up at her but don't even have to think about the answer, "The correct answer is 0.0456 M." I smile.

She sighs, "Correct."

I shake my head at her before tuning everything out again, yawning.

Okay.
And Alex didn't go in with Jason. He's a year older, so he has those classes.

Jason

I tune the lesson out, pretending to be taking notes while simply writing down the answers to my History study guide from memory in order to study for the test next period. The girl beside me gets called on and I glance at her before getting back to my work, doodling now instead. And that's why I do everything possible to make it seem like I actually care.

*Facepalms* Failllll....

And now for the Rayah side to show...*grins evilly*

Faith

She keeps blabbering on and I sigh, leaning back in my chair. This is so freaking boring. Like...really.

I put my head in my arms and end up falling asleep, only to get slapped with the ruler, "What the f*ck?!" I jump, blinking a couple times.

The teacher stares me down, "Pay attention."

I yawn on purpose and smirk at her, "Whatevs."

I get a spit-ball and blow it at her, pointing at a guy a couple seats infront of me once she turns around, "He did it," I try to act serious.
