"That would mean that..." Jace sighs. "That I have one too, then." Nic shrugs and heads off, leaving them to talk. His charming personality would make it very hard for him to get in too much trouble.
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I shake my head, "No you don't. Oh. Haha. Yeah, your gonna be late too. If I were you I would just skip class." I shrug. "I'm skipping detention. We didn't do anything in cheer so I'm practicing outside."
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I nod and start running to the courtyard. I see a security guard and grab Jace behind a wall. I peek around it when he leaves and continue running until I get outside.

I walk into yet another new school. I try not to feel everyone's eyes on me- ironic, since I can't actually see them but I can feel them. I can always feel them. I tug on Jack's leash and try not to stumble down the stairs. I shift my half-filled bag from my left hand to the one holding the leash and feel for the railing. I feel everyone making a path for me, but I'm not as glad about it as I probably should be. Everyone moving to get around me means I'm in the way. And the Lord knows I hate being in the way. I feel for the floor and run my fingers over the directions to my first class. Thank God Jane, my Braille teacher, translated them for me. The school doesn't offer a class for the blind. I grin a little. I'm special, I think to myself as I feel the atmosphere shift from hallway to classroom. "Hi, Rose," says a warm, female voice. "Welcome to Golden-Brook! Here's your seat..." I smile as I sit in a desk that probably isn't meant for me. I hear her hesitation and the others' whispering around me. It's going to be a long year.
When we reach the courtyard I flash a smile and start stretching. I do a split and reach over to touch one of my shoes. I look at Jace, "You ever skipped a class before?"

He smiles and nods, sighing. His eyes wonder to the building and he wonders what his brother is doing.
`````````` Nic
He walks into a classroom and finds an empty seat beside a girl with a dog. Curious, he sits down. "NIce dog." He comments, petting its head. "What's its name?"
I feel someone sit down next to me. A male voice says, "Nice dog. What's its name?" I turn towards the voice and force a smile. I'm never good with talking to boys. "His name's Jack," I say. "It's funny, because my name is Rose and there was a movie about two kids named Jack and Rose on the Titanic. I never got to see it, of course." I laugh a little. "Did you know the Titanic still is the fastest ship to ever sail? Architects have tried to make one like it, but they couldn't do it." I shut my mouth and feel blush rise on my cheeks. I always talk too much when I get off on something geeky.
