I walked through the halls slowly, deliberately looking around corners so we wouldn't run into any un-expected fights. I touched the button on my throat mic,
I followed Andrew cautiously when I saw Ivan out near the field with his army of the dead, still attacking the Olympians.
"There!" I pointed out.
I ran and jumped out the window, breaking it and landing perfectly on my feet when I hit the ground. I run towards him when a dead person walks towards me. I walk around it, freaked out. "Uh hello?" I say giving a slight wave. When I get passed it I catch up to Ivan.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I stood at the entrance, my shoulders squared and back straight. I tried to pull off a more menacing look and lowered my bow and arrow though they were still intact. I watched Emmy put away her own bow and arrow and draw out a pistol.
Athena physically bristled and I could see her eyes narrowing dangerously at Emmy. I bit my lipped and prayed to...right...we are fighting said gods.
"You won't be able to do it," Athena stated blankly.
Athen and her famous brainiac-ness. Yeesh.
"You think you can kill a goddess? You think a mere mortal with half blood coursing through their veins can even touch me?"
She looked cooly at Emmy.
"I do not wish to take lives unnecessarily, but-"
"Stop it." Emmy tightened her grip on her weapon and pointed it right at Athena.
"You think you can kill a goddess?" Athena said cooly. "You think a mere mortal with half blood coursing through their vein can even touch me? I do not with to take lives unnecessarily, but--"
"Stop it," I growled, tightening my grip on my pistol. "I'm not stupid. I'm not gonna die just so I can kill you. Do you have any idea how much damage a bullet can do to the small bones in a hand or a foot? I hit you with an arrow; why not one of these?"
Athena continued to stare at me smugly, but I could tell it was a bluff. She and I both knew that there were ways I could defeat her. Even the gods weren't invulnerable.
Then the scene changed, just for an instant. I reached for my radio with my left hand, the pistol still pointed at Athena. "Andrew, Rayah, Ivan," I said. "Get ready. Things are going to get messy. Look out for Ares."
We're roaming the halls when Emmy calls in on the radio. She sends a warning to Ivan, Rayah, and Andrew about Ares. I glance at Gem for her reaction before we stumble across Emmy and Rosarie. They have their weapons pointed at Athena. At the sight, I unsheathe my sword and stand at Rosarie's side, Gemini taking her own stance. I flash a friendly smile at Rosarie and greet her with a "Hey, sis" before looking at Athena again, waiting for orders from Gem.
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
Ivan walked with a slight limp. He used all his power on his father and his whole body was screaming with pain. His father was still found though, mind you. He didn't know how long he was fighting with Hades, but he cold tell it was a while seeing all his friends were running up to him. His army, ever loyal, still was with him. Andrew reached him before everyone else did. "Where you been?" He asked, clearly annoyed. "Have you ever tried fighting with the god of the dead?" Ivan asked with a smile forming on his face. It was short lived though, as he wrenched over in pain. Andrew came to his side looking alarmed. The others had reached him by now but he didn't care. He just let himself slip into a unconsciousness.
I unsheath my sword as me and Jason circle Athena slowly, I gave her a smug look before specking.
"So Athena, theres an easy way, and a hard way. Both I very much enjoy, it's just the matter of how you pick it." I said slightly amused.
"I'll tell you nothing! You'll all die at our hands! She yelled.

"I'll tell you nothing!" Athena snapped at Gem. "You'll all die at our hands!"
"Oh, shut up," I growled, thoroughly annoyed with her at that point. "There are...what, four of us? And only one of you. I think we're in charge here. Start talking."
"I've got it, Rayah," I said, even though she had directed her question at Gem. "And don't go killing her; I kind of want to live."
Generally, Rayah and I didn't get along too well. To me, she always came off as falsely tough--a good fighter, but too pretty to be great. As a daughter of Aphrodite, she was bound to be pretty, but I could tell she still put some effort into her appearance. Me--as long as I was clean and my hair was out of my face, I couldn't care less what I looked like. I was dedicated, totally committed to the warrior life. The way I saw it, you could never be a great warrior unless you let go of the pretty girl and embraced the primordial thrill of the fight. Rayah seemed to be caught somewhere in between. The thing that bugged me most about her, though, was that she acted like a full warrior, like I was. The cocky banter really didn't go well with her makeup.
Of course, she probably thought I was a crazy tomboy sadist, but whatever. If that's what she saw, then fine. We didn't actually get really angry at each other, or anything. And I didn't mind being seen as a crazy tomboy sadist. Come to think of it, that line of thought wasn't exactly that far off. "Sadist" was probably an exaggeration, but...
I clicked the safety of my pistol on and off a few times. "Look, Thenes," I said to Athena, using the pet nickname she hated so much. "If you don't start talking, I'll have to start using these bullets."
Spoiler
Pixie--no offense intended with my Rayah paragraph. Correct me if I'm wrong.
As I made a pass by Emmy who had a hand on her gun, who I can tell was ready to kill her mother at this point. I whisper to her.
"One to the left kneecap." I whisper.
She does it the second I'm out of the way the bullet making it's mark, Athena let out a gasp that sounded like something a cry of pain and surprise. Her hands go and hover right by her knee, but never touch.
"This is the hard way, we'll slowly, painfully torment you at every pass I make." I said with a grin.
As if on cue, Rose fired an arrow, it makes it's mark on her right shoulder. I flash a "Good job" smile to her, then turn my attention back on Athena.
"Yes Athena we are that sadistic enough to do what we threaten. And no one is coming to help you. Now how do I secure the thrones and lives of the Juggernaut's after you die?" I ask half way to Emmy.
An angel, a knight, a man who will bring light to where there is only darkness, I am the Morning Star, the Bringer of Light, hail to me as I am King Lucifer!
I glare at Emmy before taking a knife out of my boot. "Well. I'm gonna go kick some beauty queen ass!" I laughed walking off and into her chambers. When I get there she look up from sharpening a blade.
"I was expecting you." She grins. "And if you kill me then you die too so theres no reason in trying." She says, touching the point on the dagger. She has long blonde ringlets, flawless skin and deep blue eyes. Anything a guy could want. I hated it. Who really cares if you look good? I hate how I look.
I sighed and ran for her, pointing the knife at her neck and putting her in an arm lock. "Don't speak." I tell her, walking her outside to where Gem was. "Hey I got her. What do I do with her?" I ask. She starts to speak and I knee her. "I SAID DON'T SPEAK!"
She nods quickly and I chuckle, looking back at Gem.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
"Have your fun in tourchering her for all I care, just remember don't kill her unless you want to die yourself." I said.
I walk back in to see Athena in tear's, my lips curl at the sight to see I'm doing what I aimed for.
"Now are you gonna tell me what I want to know? sixty seconds before Emmy puts a bullet in your shoulder." I said.
