Carpenter-

I was finally able to get to my feet, but practically helpless as Carnage attacked Black Beauty. Until she shot electricity at him.

"Our powers work again?" I mumbled and touched the iron tip of a mantle decoration. My arms turned solid iron, and boy did it feel good. Quickly patching up the parts of me still aching from the run in with Carnage earlier, I was able to fight again.

"Come at me," I heard Beauty challenge. Carnage bolted towards her, but not before I got there first a sent the monster flying towards the wall.

Black Beauty nodded at me. "Bout time you showed up. Are you okay?"

I unclenched and clenched my fist. "I'm better than okay," I laughed, but then was tackled by the inky mass of symbiote. Black Beauty came to the rescue with an ax kick to his head, sending him crashing through the floor. We jumped after him, the ends of my hands becoming like swords. I heard him hiss and growl as I slashed through the symbiotic skin that kept regrowing. Carnage grabbed me by the ankle and through me at a wall.

I coughed and grasped my side. There was a rib in there that didn't feel right. Electricity buzzed through the air as Beauty zapped him repeatedly, just getting him angrier. He grabbed her arm, twisted it in a way that wasn't natural and tossed her to the ground. Claws poised to strike, he was about to finish her off.

"NO!" I screamed and dove in between them, the iron from my hands dissolved from the previous blow. Skin met symbiote and I could feel the gooey alien rush up my arms and down my legs. I grabbed my head and screamed. There was something in my head.

"Kill..."

"AAH!!"

Spoiler
Don't worry, Carpenter's going to fight it and win... eventually.

I back up on the floor as something happens to Carpenter.

"C-Carpenter?" I ask, standing. He keeps screaming and I swallow, anger building up infront of me.

C'mon weather...

I closed my eyes trying to concentrate on the sky. Black clouds formed overhead and a grin grew on my face as I made it windy, collided the hot air with cold air. A tornado started and I opened my eyes. Just as it was giving me more power, I put a wall of electricity around all the walls so if someone gets thrown into it they get electicuted.

I crossed my arms, feeling slightly dizzy from all the power use. Carnage catches me off guard and tackles me. I look at my hand, something weird covering it. I shake my hand out and get my iron fist ready, punching him into the wall. It electicutes him and I nod a good job to myself, still a little dizzy.

Carpenter-

Everything felt strange, but there was no pain. I couldn't think straight. I continued pulling at my goo covered skull, the image of an... angel? No it wasn't an angel. There was something wrong with it.

"STOP!" I shouted.

"Carpenter, hold on."

"N-no! GET OUT! RUN! I CAN'T STOP IT!"

I shake my head, "I'm not leaving." Lightning cracks outside just as the tornado gets closer. "Hurry!" I scream, grabbing him. He jerks out of my grasp and I watch as The tornado breaks through. I put my hands up and it stops, breaking out into dirt and water. I get pushed into the wall and fall from the wind. I get electricuted by my own light and swear repeatedly, taking the wall down. "GO!" Carpenter screams. I swallow and run as fast as I could, jumping out of the widow and rolling on the grass when I land. I stand, the rain soaking me and Look up at the sky, shaking my head.

I appeared in a portal of purple fire in front of the two heroes, instantly appraising the situation. I saw goo - probably Carnage's - covering Carpenter, Blakc Beauty fleeing.
I snapped my fingers and Black Beauty fell to the ground, an invisible force binding her.
"I confess I am dissapointed," I hissed. "By trying to escape, you break the rules of hospitality I hold so dear. And you place yourselves utterly at my mercy"

I chuckled at what he did and tried to stand but couldn't. "I swear I aught'a--" I start to say but then he covers my mouth. "Shut up." I kick him and he chuckles. "This isn't funny! Let me go!" I say, trying to move but am in some kind of...I don't know.

Lightning cracks beside me and I struggle, swallowing as it grows tighter...and tighter...and tighter. "What is this?!" I ask, still struggling.

"Oh, just something called being in ultimate control," I said, smirking. "But enough. I need you for something."
"Like I'd help you," Black Beauty spat.
I sighed. "We can do this two ways," I said. "You can cooperate, or I'll torture you until you give in."
"I'll never help you," she insisted, though I saw her eyebrow twitch slightly.
"Have it your way then," I said, and zapped her with bolts of red lighting. She screamed and convulsed, though my bonds held her in place.
As I tortured her, laughing maniacally - I couldn't help it, it was classic villain behavior - I called the Night Dragon. By the time he'd get here, Beauty would be broken or dead. Either way, I won.

I heard a call in my telepathic line. I was still buried in my books, all the way up to my eyeballs. I'd come if I could, but I'm still trying to research the relic. I'm up to my eyeballs in books and leaflets.

He kept zapping me and I didn't give it. "Do whatever you want but I'm n-not giving I-In!" I said, starting to doze off. Electricity burned in my fingers and I started to lose conciousness. "I-I'm not..." I dozed off, passing out.

"Kill... kill!"

"NAH!" I punched, kicked, pulled at myself to get this gunk out of me. I barely noticed the lightning flashing white outside and then red.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!"

BEAUTY! That was her screaming.

"Get! OFF! ME!" I banged into a metal drum from the aftermath of Carnage. Whatever happened, the goo started loosening. I tripped over sparking wires and felt electricity running up and down my body, but the goo loosened even more and it began retreating. Finally I was able to get a hold (whether physically or mentally I wasn't sure) and started tearing it out of me.

I was left huffing and on my knees. "That was a trip," I muttered and looked at my hand that absorbed the symbiote. It was like ink had stained my veins... like an infection. Black lines danced under my skin, but there wasn't a voice. There wasn't an image.

Beauty screamed again. "Beauty!" I ran over to the window Beauty crashed through. Down on the ground was Alvah sending bolt after scarlet bolt of lightning at her. She dropped.

"NO!" I screamed and jumped down. Alvah turned at me and smirked, Beauty over his shoulder like some prize.

"Too late," he said, and then he was gone.

You know sitting here and watching the hero's get whipped and all was fairly amusing but it was time for someone of huge brain's to step in, this guy had the power. But question has it did he have the mind? I doubt it given the profile I have fitted him into, but it could never hurt to try. I sliped in though the door The Night Dragon was taken though, that tells me another thing about this guy, he was confident in what he was doing but at the rate he was going he was starting to become full of himself. I slipped though the laser's with ease, finally making my way in. I looked around and see Mr. Evil laughing his arse off like it was his job.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here? Imprisoned hero's and two evil guys who didn't have a clue to what there doing." I said as I floated around the room looking at each of them.

Pain took over me and I moaned, feeling someone pick me up and throw me over their shoulder. I moaned again and lightning zapped around my fingers. It was blurry, all images were nothing more then a mess. I couldn't fight back, considering how much I wanted to. My body was sore, I felt broken.

The person carried me to another place, I could hear someone elses screaming outside of me. The person dropped me in concrete and I rolled on my back, feeling like a complete mess. I tore my mask off and rubbed my eyes, letting my ringlets fall from the ponytail. Once I came to my senses I stood up unsteadily and saw Alvah. I sweared repeatedly and facepalmed myself.

"Of course." I said, shaking out my hand.

He chuckled, "I warned you. Your lucky I hadn't zapped you enough for death."

I look away, shaking my head. "I would rather die then help you." I snapped, crossing my arms.

"Now, Now. No need to have an additude." He smirks.

I glance at him, looking like Shyla again. "What do you want?"

They were gone. I ran back to where Carnage had landed and he was gone too. They had Beauty.

Helpless and not knowing what to do, I slumped down on the sidewalk. New York was eerily quiet, like something bad was coming... and it was.

I couldn't take Alvah on alone, let alone Alvah and Carnage and who knows who else is with them. And this thing... I looked at my hand with a mix of curiosity and disgust. Somehow I had absorbed the symbiote, or at least its makeup, into my hand. Shaking my head clear, I stood up. I needed help. I knew about Overwatch, maybe Fox or that Night Dragon... but they were all back in Chicago.

"Overwatch, I could really use some help now!" I shouted. At first, nothing happened. But then a wind picked up and a low humming. I looked up and smirked. Above me was a jet, imprinted with Overwatch's design. Chicago, here I come.

Spoiler
I am assuming that Alvah and them all went back to Chicago because that's where Night Dragon is. Please say I'm correct. *puppy dog eyes*

Y'know what, Jaden, I'm gonna make the executive decision. We're going back to Chicago!

Carnage

I hit the floor, but not where I had fallen. Alvah's mansion was gone, and in its place stood shelf after creaking shelf of books, tomes, scrolls and other assorted paraphernalia. Obviously Alvah gave some concern to my well-being.
I thought I might have been in a library, but you're only allowed to whisper in a library.
"What the hell was that!?" a voice cried out from across the room. I noticed that a number of old scrolls were smouldering softly, presumably a side-effect of Alvah's hasty use of his power.
"And just who do you think..." the voice shouted as they came about the corner, but stopped as they caught sight of me. It's not everyday you see an alien symbiont lying on the carpet.
"Carnage!"
I cursed Alvah. Wherever I was, wherever he had sent me, this jerk knew my name.

I was about to give up when I found what I was looking for. An old tome of ancient relics. "The Darkness Ourubouros. An ancient relic that's presumably as old as time itself with the power to jump dimensions at any given time to the user's heart's content. Location of this relic is unknown, since the one who last saw the relic took that knowledge to the grave." I shut the tome. "At least now I know what I'm looking for. I just hope I find me a mate with this is over. I don't want to be alone for life." A loud noise made me jolt. When I saw the source, I couldn't believe my eyes. The smell of the creature in front of me reeked of death and carnage. "Carnage, I presume?"
