Name: Zoey Redbird

Age: 16

Year: Third Former

This is also what her tattoos look like. Most vampires don't have the tattoos down their arms and shoulders, but she was touched by Nix (duh.)

History: Before she was Marked her mom and her step dad which she refers to as the “Steploser”, never paid much attention to her. Only her grandma even acknowledged that she was alive. It’s not that she hated her mom, because her mom hadn’t always been like that. Her mom once loved her, but then she remarried and the Steploser changed her mom into something she didn’t know. She's from Cherokee descent, so she has a tie to legends and will listen to what her grandma tells her to do. Her grandma is a Cherokee.

Affinity: All five elements (she just doesn’t know it at first)

Up for Love?: Yes

Other: Zoey doesn’t take crap--from anyone. She doesn’t like to be owned and she doesn’t like to be different. She just wants to fit in, which will be really hard. She hates keeping secrets, but sometimes she really has to. And (unlike in the book) she does cuss, but not all of the time.


Name: Neferet

Age: Lets just say she looks like she’s 25.

Year: High Priestess

History: Neferet has been the High Priestess for this House of Night for years. There’s not really much to say about her.

Affinity: She can dig into people’s minds. (Except Zoey’s and the leader of the Dark Daughters.) She's also a healer, but all High Priestesses are.

Up for Love?: Of course not.

Other: Don’t let Neferet’s appearance fool you. She may look really nice, but she’s a power hungry High Priestess with no fear of turning from her Goddess to get what she wants. (hehe foreshadowing for those who haven’t read it.)

Come to think about it, Pharaoh would start out as a hater, but will have a change of heart after seeing what Zoey's capable of.

This starts March 24 if we have enough characters, which we should by then.

History: Mark had just been Marked while he was at his mom and dad's funeral, which traumatized him. He reluctantly went to the House of Night seeing it was his only place to be.
Affinity: Technology
Up for Love?: Sure, Bisexual..
Other: Mark's technology affinity allows him to communicate and control any type of technology. So if you have any technology and make him mad, he will destroy it.

Well I mean, I get that you don't know it, I'm not mad or anything, I'm just putting it out there that I've said it before... and if I haven't put it in the main post (did I?) then I will so no one gets confused again.

I haven't read the books to be completely honest but I have base knowledge of what happens in the books.

It's alright, it wont be complicated to catch on. It's not going to be every bit like the book, we'll change some things. I just wanted to keep the basics the same. As soon as this gets going, it'll be easy to understand what's going on, whether that's what's in the book or not.

Name: Athena
Age: 18
Year: Sixth former - Senior

Appearance: (A picture will be included at bottom) She is approximately 5’9” in height and is quite slender. She usually wears a black woollen turtle neck shirt with short sleeves as well as a plain, long black skirt. Even though you can’t see them, she wears cherry 16 holed Doc Martins with a rose pattern impressed on the sides.
Personality: Although she is quite a quiet and shy person, once you get to know her Athena is a very kind hearted girl who is willing to help those she feels has earned her trust, or those who just need defending. She is a very moral person who will actively seek ‘good’ and ‘light’.
History: Having run away from abusive parents with her younger sister, named Minerva, who unfortunately died before Athena was marked, this meant that Athena had no-one to look after her or guide her to the House of Night. Despite living on the street for a number of years, Athena knew enough to get herself to a HoN. She only discovered her affinity in her second year; she was transferred to the Tulsa HoN last year.
Affinity: Spirit. Unlike Zoey, Athena can ‘read’ someone’s spirit much like an aura meaning that she can judge a person far beyond how they see themselves.
Up for Love?: Yes, she’s straight. You may have to make her realise that she likes you first though…
Other: Due to an allergy of cats before she was marked she naturally stays away from them. She has a German Shepard dog as a companion instead, he’s called Cassidy and is very protective + He's only a puppy.
She's due to change soon but will decide to stay with Zoey. Her marks will a wolf sat on the left hand side of her face howling at her cresent.
