We get to a field and her smile matches the sunlight.

"It's beautiful out here." She says, facing me.

I smile and nod.

"Very."

I smile at him and fall down in the flowers. My hair spread across it like a flower had just bloomed and I closed my eyes, trying to forget the competition.

She drops to the ground, surrounded by the wildflowers, and closes her eyes, taking a deep breath. I sigh, watching, before looking up and around.

I know what I have to do. And I know the end it will bring.

Ivan Kirill

Ivan stood up slowly when Mouse started to talk to herself and shoved his hands his pockets.

"Well, you seem occupied so I'm jut going to... go."

He walked by and patted her on the head before walking away towards anywhere.

"Thanks, Mouse," he called over his shoulder. He wasn't sure if she could hear him, but it didn't matter either way.

Ivan's walking aimlessly, humming, thinking up battle plans when he passes by Jesse and Micah kissing. Something clenches inside of him and he shakes his head sadly at the couple. One of them is going to end up hurt, just like him.

Just thinking of what he and Cassie could have been had his breath stopping in his throat. He wanted to die.

Ivan sighed and ran a hand through his hair. He needed a smoke. He wondered briefly if they had a supply around somewhere. He did promise his mother he'd stop smoking, but his nerves were getting to him.

I open my eyes and stand, looking at him worried. "Are you alright?" I ask taking both his hands.

She opens her eyes and gets to her feet, asking me if I'm alright.

"Fine." I reply, flashing a smile, and I truly mean it.

I nod at him, "Um. We should get back...The games are starting in a half an hour and I need to get ready." I flashed a smile at him and twined my hand with his, walking back to the base.

I nod and flash a smile when she twines her hand in mine, my heart spazzing like never before. We walk back to the mansion and I wonder what everyone else might think of our relationship. Would they look down at them because of the obvious outcome? Would they turn their backs? Would they use it to their advantage...?

"Jess, wait." I stop before we walk inside.

She turns to me, worried.

"Let's...try and keep this under the radar. Not because of Rutila, but because of what might happen during the games... If they thought... It isn't safe for either of us. I don't want you hurt because of me."

I nod and let go of his hand, I take a deep breath and walk back in, Micah following close behind. I take the knife that Drake helped me sharpen and wen't to the throwing board. I threw it over and over, trying to get it on the target. On my third try I did it and chuckled in victory. Before the games began I walked up to my room and changed into a long sleeved shirt and braided my hair. I put shorts on and still, wore my boots with the dagger inside it.

I walked back down looking slightly better and more cleaned up. I sat down on the couch and studied my dagger's blade, making sure it was sharp enough for the next round.

--- Info Post ----

I would post this in the DT but I would have the assurance that everyone sees it if I post it on here, so here it is.

Spoiler
Round Three:
- This round will not be an obstacle course. Instead, it will be layed out like this...
~ In the middle of the arena will lay a ten foot by twenty foot lava pit, boiling about a foot below the surface. There is a tight rope dangling across it, the long way,
~ A minotaur will be released, one minute into the round, followed by a gang of twelve goblins. They are there to antagonize - and possibly hurt - the characters as they try to cross the lava pit.
~ There is a way around the pit without using the rope, but only if you're willing to take on the goblins and minotaur head on.

- Your characters will have to somehow make it across the pit, but that is not the end. Whoever kills off the last creature standing is the winner (ahem, ICE). It doesn't matter whether or not your characters make it across first, it is the monsters that truly count.

Spoiler
I will be posting all informational posts on here in the future for the reason stated above. If you have any questions, comments, problems - state them in the DT. Someone is bound to get back to you in a matter of minutes.

When I realize the games are about to start I walk up to Micah's room and I knock on the door.

"Hey It's me. The round is about to start..." I said through the door.

I sit on the very edge of the bed, holding my head stressfully in my hands. My eyes are closed and my breath is slow and even, thoughts swirling around my head like smoke.

There's a knock at the door and I look up.

"Hey, it's me." Jesse calls. "The round is about to start..."

I take a deep breath before standing and walking towards the door. Slowly swinging it open, I flash a smile at her, nervous for what's to come.

"You ready?" I ask.

I nod, "I'm ready." I was just about to grab his hand when I realize what he said and I put my fist up for a fist-bump.

Rutila "The Black Dagger" Nixion

I waited down at the floyer, I was slightly happy this was the final round for today. I see Jesse and Micah come down both looking happy, I nod to them.

"Ready for the final round for today?" I ask my arms folded.

I nodded, feeling as if I was standing a little too close to Micah and take a step away from him, still looking at Rutila. "Lets do this." I smiled.
