I got up and screamed at the teachers. "Then what about what happenned with my father and the damned scum-bag Potter? Huh? Why did the teachers let old Mouldy Ass come in and hurt and kill some students in my fathers last year of Hogwarts!? HUH?"

On that happy note they were dismissed to go to our common rooms. Nancy and Micael met up with Yasmin and talked a little bit about the feast and their sorting. When Nancy and Michael were alone she said," You look a little bit sad, was it something I said? Because believe me I have a tendency not to think before I speak."

Micheal Amare~

After talking too Yasmin about the events of the evening me and Nancy headed with the others to the common room. Knowing no one could hear us Nancy leaned in and said " You look a little bit sad, was it something I said? Because believe me I have a tendency not to think before I speak."

I didn't know how to answer that question but I tried to anyway "No it wasn't you, I just don't know what mom and dad will think. You see they were both in Slytherin and well.."

Micheal said, "No it wasn't you, I just don't know what mom and dad will think. You see they were both in Slytherin and well.." He trailed off looking worried. "So you're afraid they'll be disappointed in you for not being in Slytherin too? Or how your parents reputation has preceded you in this school and the entire school population thinking you should be in Slytherin?" Nancy asked sounding concerned, "Because no matter what your parents did you will still be my friend, you are a different person than your parents."

Her words helped "Yeah I think your right, just have to live through it ey" We walked until the Prefect made us stop in front of a moving picture, and he said "Jubbling whiskers". Me and Nancy looked at each other both very clueless until the picture opened and showed a passageway. We walked inside, and as we were the last to enter the painting closed right behind us. My eyes didn't believe what they were seeing, it was like a big family room with a fireplace and everything. "This is as most of you know is the Gryffindor common room, here you will study, relax and hang out with your friends for the rest of your years at Hogwarts. Your dormitory's are up there girls to the right boys to the left, your belongings have all ready been brought up so good night and see you in the morning" The prefect walked away and left us to go up by ourselves.

Having to leave Nancy was dreadful, now I had to stay in a room with some guys I didn't even know that's just perfect. We walked inside and instantly I found that my owl and trunk were at a bed close to the door. Without hesitation I opened it and got in my pajamas and went to bed. I suspected the others had done the same thing because every thing went quiet. I couldn't sleep though I was at Hogwarts and my mind was flying with happiness and excitement but little frightfulness.

Micheal Amare / The morning after -

I woke up to someone walking around, I sat up and saw that all the boys were awake and dressing themselves. No one looked at me or talked to me which made it easier. I got up and got dressed. A blond boy who was named something like Aaron opened the door and walked out first and I followed his lead.

Down in the common room kids were meeting up and going down to the great hall. Almost in the middle of the crowd stood Nancy who waved at me as soon as she saw me. "Slept well?" she asked smiling I nodded also with a smile on my face "You?" she nodded. The walk was shorter than the night before and soon enough we were sitting down at the gryffindor table.

I woke up the next morning and got dressed. Then I walked down to the Slytherin common room.
A girl walked over to me and sneered "You, newbie. Why are you here? I thought that Griffendorks were up in the towers?"
"Yeah, well you can just go and get killed by a basilisk for all I care!" I replied.
She shut-up after that and walked away, looking dissapointed. Take that loser! I thought.

Nancy Belthorne-Great Hall

Nancy met up with Micahel at the common room. The night before had been fairly uneventful. She knew her roommates would be a fun bunch, they were already planning a slumber party for the end of the first week of school. The breakfast was delicious, a bigger spread than they had any given day at home. Michael seemed more content today at school. They started chatting about the classes they would have together and what fun they would have learning things together. "What class do you think you will like the most?" Nancy asked Micahel was she was buttering a slice of toast. As he was answering as a whole crowd of owls flew in delivering packages, one owl dropped a letter in each of their laps.

Micheal~

I gazed surprised at the letter in my lap. If anything I would have expected a howler before a reasonable letter. I turned it around and saw that the writing was neither my fathers or mothers but it was against all odds addressed to me. I could feel Nancy's eyes upon me "Well go on open it" She said with her naturally commanding voice. Wishing not to annoy her which was surprisingly easy I opened it.

Micheal

I know you have not heard of me, but I am your uncle. Your mother is my sister. The reason you haven't heard of me is the same reason I am sending you this letter. In this family being put in Gryffindor is a dishonor and being a Gryffindor myself it is my duty to tell you that you are to come and live with me at the end of term. I am sorry that this has happened but it's for the best. I will send you a letter at the end of the year.

Your uncle, Johnathan Naret

My heart was pounding but I felt nothing. I was completely numb and the only thing that went through my head was the word "DISHONOR" I looked at Nancy who had been reading her letter. She looked at me and her expression changed "You all right?" She asked. I opened my mouth but then the professor who had put the sorting hat on us handed us our timetables and gratefully the discussion changed.

I walked down to the Great Hall and noticed Nancy and Micheal both at the Gryffindor table. I started to get upset. I stood out when I was with the other Slytherin girls, the guys hate me and I was always being told that I would be better off in Gryffindor with my friends.

As I walked past the chick who was being rude to me earlier, I heard her say "God! Look at that weirdo! She acts like the lion dorks! She will never fit in, we can make sure of that." and her friends laughed with her. I started to cry silently.
